I always love the food, it doesn't matter what you order it's always good. Crowded at lunch time but if you go around 11 your usually okay to get a table fast. Evenings are not packed at all. Good service, great prices.

Amazing employees! Our waitresses/waiters are always ready to assess our wants and needs and they won't stop until their customers requests are fulfilled. The atmosphere there is pleasant and very welcoming i highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in or out of state.

I did not expect the burritos to be so large, given the inexpensive price. I ordered two, had to take one home, and want hungry enough to get to it until many hours later. Excellent value, lovely space, attentive staff.

Came in to get some breakfast today, but they stopped serving breakfast at 11 am. They have plenty of other dishes to choose from. I saw everyone getting bowls of soup. Turns out it was caldo de res or pescado. We ordered caldo de res, Mexican plate, carnitas plate special, and steak tacos. I highly recommend coming in for a bite!

This is a must go if you are craving some authentic Mexican dishes! I am absolutely in love with the food! I cannot wait to go back. The ambience is very nice, the waitstaff is incredibly accommodating, and the food is out of this world!

I stopped in for breakfast after fasting lab work, and I was quite hungry. I was promptly seated and my friendly waitress asked if I needed any recommendations. Since I knew exactly what I was craving, I declined her recommending anything and quickly placed my order. When it arrived the eggs were perfect, the hash browns were crispy and the bacon just right. My coffee cup was kept filled, and I was a "happy camper". Such a delicious meal at such a reasonable price and I was ready to continue my day!"

They put it on there steak tampenquneo and it reminded my of my child hood. My step father had a burger and he said one of the best he ever eat.

Authentic El Paso style Mexican food with fair prices and quick service. The menu is what I'd expect to see for the area with typical options (although no margaritas.) The different dishes we received at El Rincon were all huge and delicious. I especially enjoyed the steak in my tacos and the salsa served with the table chips. For sure would come back!

Haven't been here in a while but was still very delicious. Restaurant is nice and themed. Check out the lunch specials. I ordered the carnitas tacos. Came with four tacos. I can get crowded but if you go after the lunch rush you'll be good.

I stopped by the Sun Bowl restaurant because I was on the west side of town. I was close to closing time, so I had my pick of tables. The service was friendly and fast. The food, as always, came out hot and delicious. I'm a heavy drinker, but they kept my glass full. I recommend this place to anyone who wants good portions of food at a reasonable price.

National economy increase, I'm still satisfied with the price of my meal at El Rincon. Plenty of seating Quick Service fair pricing for quality food. Green chili beef enchiladas. one egg on top. I asked for side order of fried jalapenos Perfect Touch. I've been eating at El Rincon for over 30 years. Never dissatisfied

Delicious but pricey. I got the chorizo and eggs breakfast - the flour tortillas are amazing!! Their sausage is fried crispy, something I’m not used to.

The food was hot and fresh, everything tasted good. The waitress was friendly. They got busy when we were finished eating and were under staffed on waiters and waitresses with the holiday and a university game right next to the business but other than that it was all good.

Best Milanesa in town. Shredded beef tacos were also very tasty. Good service. The only thing that was uncomfortable was that the restaurant was too cold and water had a funny taste.

Good little Mexican food place. Caldo de res could be better, but the flauta and enchilada plates are good.

Good Mexican plate. Waitress was in a hurry though and when she put my plate down the tomato from my taco fell onto my lap. Lunch specials run out so go early. My coworker normally goes at 11:30 and finds a seat and all the lunch specials.

Pretty good place. My buddy had a huge bowl of menudo that he emptied. We had several different breakfast plates. It was a busy Sunday morning, and we got served and dined in a timely fashion. This a definite go check out place

They've got a good variety of Mexican dishes from breakfast to dinner. I was also impressed by their seating capacity. However, the server could have done a better job by being nicer from the onset. It seems she realized this along the line and started asking if everything was okay.

Always delicious. Sure hit when you need a good meal. Clean place with courteous staff Their lunch specials are quite adequate in both size and price. My definite go to when in need of good food.

The Food was great, although the sauce of the enchiladas was not spicy. I order huevos rancheros and the Tortilla was all soggy, not sure it goes like that. Very authentic place to have breakfast and Mexican food. I didn't like the lemonade but my friend did so it's a 50/50 chance you'll like it...lol

Classic dinner feel, not overly fond of service but with amount of people, servers accommodated clients great. Food came out piping hot and was relatively good. Did not take long for an order of four plates. Drinks, chips and salsa came out quick too.

Ordered the Mexican Plate #1 on the lunch special. $14.99 includes tax. Meal comes with 2 Enchiladas, 2 Tacos, Rice and Beans. You get a choices of Caldo de Res or Caldo de Pollo soup. Includes an Iced Tea!! Our younger waitress was so kind and quick. Friendly and a smile on her face. The food was hot and DELICIOUS!!! I wish there was a restaurant closer in the NE.

Good food as as always, but the service was spotty, and pretty crowded for a Saturday afternoon. Had to wait for table to be cleaned.

We had a great experience overall. The food was good and came out well prepared. Our server was especially amazing very attentive, friendly, and on top of everything throughout our visit. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name, but her service truly stood out and made our meal even better. We would definitely come back because of the great food and excellent service.

Stopped in 10/8/24 as we were in town visiting family and this has been one of my favorite restaurants for Huevos Rancheros for years. They serve it Chili Con Queso style which I love and they did not disappoint. The service and food were great. Nothing wrong w/ the Atmosphere, just simple and clean. Thank you El Rincon.

We enjoyed coming to eat here. We had the menudo and picadillo and eggs. The menudo was absolutely amazing. It was so good. One of the best in El Paso. The picadillo and eggs was good too. The servings were great too. The large menudo was a big bowl that I thought I was not going to be able to finish, but it was soooo good that I finished it completely.

My family and parents have been eating there for quite a few years now. ****Sometimes the service isn't that great but the food still came out hot so I stand by my original comment. We ordered red and green enchiladas. The red enchiladas were good, but the onions on top of them were lazily cut in large, round sliced chunks, not diced, as it is typical. Seemed as if they were counted to accompany one slice of onion for each of the four enchiladas. The green enchiladas were also really good. The tostadas appeared not to be restaurant made; they seemed to be name brand. However, the salsa for the tostadas was very flavorful but not too spicy. Overall a good experience.

Nothing special, overpriced for mediocre Mexico food. Rice had no flavor and the lady at the front register was very rude. Never greeted us or even a smile. The only reason that they’re getting 3 stars is because our server was attentive and friendly.

Last time that I was there on Sunday, we returned all the plates, the food taste like they were using the burn oil to cook, very bad taste, I hope the owner knows about it. Something was not good or to much refrigerated .

The avocado on my guacamole tostadas tasted bitter and over ripened. Tea was warm and tasted like metal. Only one server for the entire restaurant, she did a good job considering she had a large party and 7 other tables while the cashier just sat and watched. The salsa was great. Ive been there before and I generally like the food but today was a disappointment.

Ordered one of their mexican plate specials, the tacos were so-so, but the enchiladas were terrible. Rice was ok, but the beans were too greasy.

Food was ok, but the staff was horrible!. One could tell there was definitely tension between them. Two staff members could be heard arguing all the way to the dinning room, most of the sections were closed. Felt tense while eating, we preferred to leave rather than finish our food.

Good service. The red enchiladas were flavorless. The meal was thrown into the microwave so it dried out the beans and rice. I had to add salt and salsa to everything just to try and add flavor.

Nasty menudo , not even the Coffee is good.

The best items were the chips and salsa, and the chips were just simple nacho chips. The beef soup was ok. I ordered the lunch special with mexican plates (2 enchiladas, 2 tacos, rice, and beans). Everything was microwaved. The tacos were supposed to be crispy, but they were half soggy half stale. I asked for green enchiladas and got red. They were flavorless. Beans and rice were on the dry side. The waitress brought my items but forgot the tea. I finished my tea, and the waitress never came back to offer me a refill, I would see other tables getting refills, but my waitress was nowhere to be seen until she brought my check. I had to call her to bring it. Everything came up to $15. it's definitely not worth it. I am definitely not going back.

I ordered the green chilaquiles. While the chilaquiles themselves were decent, I was disappointed by the chewy and tough meat. The coffee was enjoyable, but my request for water with lemon turned out to be a letdown as it tasted horrible (they probably don’t have water filtration or their filters have not been replaced.) The service also left much to be desired. Despite informing the waitress about my preferences for onions and a flour tortilla, my order arrived without these specifications. The restaurant had a quiet atmosphere with only seven tables occupied, so the subpar service seemed more like a result of poorly trained staff rather than a busy rush. Overall, my experience at the restaurant was a mix of positives and negatives. The food had its moments, but the service and attention to detail fell short. Hopefully, the restaurant can address these issues to provide a better dining experience for future customers.

The rice is pretty bland. The green chicken enchiladas had a good cheesy sauce (didn’t taste the green Chile much) but still tasty. The thing that ruined my enchiladas was the incredibly dry chicken inside, not even the sauce was able to counter it, maybe the chicken was reheated or something.

What a horrible place, I believe these people are racist too. This is the third visit to this estblishment and everytime we have been there we get ignored. Other patrons get served drinks, and even food first when they came second or third from me and my family. Today was the last time we stop there it happenned again, the utensils siverware were disgusiting dirty one set was. We asked the waitress to bring another set, she never did. She picked up our order for drinks and food we waited 25 minutes nothing, no drinks no silverware, and she was nowhere to be found. Yet, shed make an appearance every now and then serving food and drinks to others that came after us, a couple patrons on one table and another table of two were served before us. We asked another waitress to chwck on whats going on she never came back either at 35 minutes of waiting we left. This happenned about 12:30pm today Friday 27th. I dont recommend this place if your Jewish besides its not kosher and they are racist.

Sat there for over 25 mins for some one to come to our table. Bus boy came to clean the table and left in the middle of it. We cleaned our own table. Waitress shows up 20 mins later to take order. I ask do you know how long before we will be served? Manager comes up and ask what the problem was told her its been 40 mins for service and I would like to know how much longer her answer was were busy and your welcome to leave, your not the only customers here. I asked for the owner's name or way to contact him or her and her answer was "you don't need to know' So I kindly got up and left. I have no problem taking my business else where

Awful tasting meat. My kids’ hamburger patties were also foul tasing. French fries had zero taste except for the overwhelming taste of grease. We asked for a box to go only so the people we were eating with wouldn’t feel bad about making the selection to eat there. Never again.

We usually like this place but damn the service is the worst. Walked in and sat ourselves as usual. Literally 10 minutes passed by with waitresses,waiters, busboys all passing back and forth our table without a single one of them asking for our drink order or bringing us tostadas or anything. Not a single person even acknowledged us or said they would be right with us. Maybe get some more attentive employees or ones who can handle a few tables. Not going back again. It's good but it's not worth waiting 10+ minutes just for a damn drink and tostadas. Get it together

Out waitress took 20 minutes to get our daughter's child's plate (1 scrambled egg, 1 sausage patty, handful of hashbrowns). My husband and I were already done with our food by the time her plate came out. Then it was COMPLETELY wrong (2 eggs over easy, no sausage, barely cooked hashbrowns), not even close to what we ordered. When we tried asking the waitress what happened, she didn't understand English and when we asked if ANYONE there spoke English she shook her head no. TERRIBLE service and the food was half par. To make things worse, she said as a courtesy they canceled the corrected order and wouldn't be charging us for it. Really? Maybe it was a bad day, but I for certain won't chance it again. Especially if they hire staff as incompetent as our waitress.

It's twice in a row that I've gone and I manage to land this older lady that's just bitter and very rude..if it wasn't for her it be a great place..service is slow and rude but at least the food is good. Everything about this place is great except the service.

This is my grandparents favorite place and mine was for some years my favorite place for Mexican food. The Last two times I was there service was awful, and the food took for ever to be ready. In one occasion all my family finished their meal and my meal took 20 minutes and it was just the sandwich, I didn't ate it, because after waiting 20 minutes it was cold. . . Food is good but service is really bad. I used to recommend this place, but not anymore. . . I would like to said that I'm not going anymore, but as I said is my grandparents favorite place, but now I don't eat anymore in that place. . . 🙁

As you walk in there’s a big sign that states SEAT YOURSELF ! So we decided to go to the left side of the restaurant which was empty except for a group of 5 . About 10 minutes later and being ignored, by three different waitresses passing us by. Finally the cashier comes and gets our drink order. When she comes back with no drinks . she tells us that the other waitresses want us to move to the other side of the restaurant!! Without any other explanation !! We were sitting on a four chair table . Then they want to seat us by the kitchen door on a four chair table, way in the back of the restaurant !! Just rude of them. Didn’t even eat there after this we just walked out !! Will never go back !! I forgot to mention it was not full at the time. So I did not know why they would ask us to move !!

Customer service was horrible. There was a sign saying we could sit anywhere. As soon as we sat, an old waitress came up to us and told us the area was closed. Her tone was not pleasant and we didn’t appreciate she talked to us that way. We didn’t even know because when we came in, the young girl in the front desk, didn’t even greet us nor did she say one part of the restaurant was closed. Moreover, throughout our visit there the waiter kept interrupting us when we were ordering. The good quality is horrible. We ordered a beef burrito. It was so greasy that it made the tortilla soggy. Not pleasant to eat. We also ordered quesadillas and the amount of cheese they use is unbearable. This is coming from someone who loves cheese. Lastly, we ordered green enchiladas with their “special” sauce. There wasn’t anything special about that sauce. No flavor or spicy at all. This is no longer a Mexican restaurant. It seems that the cooks barely know how to cook. Please go elsewhere if you want real Mexican food.

I ordered the lunch special. Two enchiladas and two tacos. The enchiladas, rice, and beans were dry, and the taco shells were hard, not crispy. Like if they just came out of the microwave. I'm never coming here again. It's not what I expected for $15.00

Okay, my friend and I visited yesterday, and we had the menudo, which gave us both food poisoning! Do not come here. They are obviously not sanitary.

They double charged my grandparents and refused to refund or give food of equal value. We took receipts back to argue the charge but the management refused to come out and speak with us. The poor front desk girl had to deal with it which had nothing to do with her. The manager is “not working” anytime we call or visit. It’s sad how useless the management is and it’s sad that they will take advantage of my two elderly grandparents for a quick buck. Will not be returning based solely on principal.

I was a regular customer before the pandemic and continued to support them through take out orders but every time they screwed up the order. Today I picked up 3 burritos. I specifically asked for the potatoes to be crispy because they have been almost raw for most of my to-go orders. I asked the young lady who took my order and rang me up if she had made sure the potatoes were crispy and she said yes. Well, I get home and open the burritos and not only were the potatoes uncooked but they were dripping with grease and we could tell it was old grease. So gross! I called to let them know and they really didn’t care. I give up. Not returning ever again.

My mom and I went in today and yes it was a little busy, we waited at our table for 10 minutes we just about to leave when the waitress finally came to our table after she passed us quite a few times. We placed ordered our drinks then she came back and took our order. We sat there waiting for that as I noticed she was quick to attend other customers that got there after us with drinks, chips and salsa as we waited never once came to our table to let us know something about our order or brought us our chips and salsa. So we just got tired of waiting so we paid for our drinks and left. I definitely will not be returning.

Very disappointed, used to be great food. They're obviously short staffed like every other restaurant in town. We never got our tortillas, no drink refills the steak Ranchero was tough and had no taste, the beans had no taste. Can understand the poor service no excuse for bad food. Too bad, we won't be back.

Order chicken fajitas very disappointment. Chicken was cut into cubes not your topical shredded fajitas and the chicken was hard as a rock. What kind of fajitas are this? Do cooks know how to cook? Not going back left third of my food in my plate. Why should I pay for something that is uneditable. 😡🤬

Went in today for lunch while there was some full tables it was not that busy. Soup was brought out very bland in flavor, plate was brought out and they just took the soups they didn't even ask if we were finished. While talking to my co worker they just took the plates too! Basically saying hurry up and get out. I asked for tea twice and both times the waiter didn't bring it out. I let the lady who was charging know the service wasn't the greatest not once did she a apologize or seem to care all she did was nod her head!! Would not come back.

The food was horrible. I'm talking about the one on Mesa by Utep. We had never been there. I read the reviews so we decided to try it out. The food tasted horrible. Honestly made 3 of us sick to our stomachs I had the Mexican plate with green enchiladas. They looked orange. My husband had the same with red enchiladas and my daughter had the #1 Mexican plate my brother had the calso. The caldo he said had no flavor to it. The meat in the tacos were very greasy and cold. Tasted gross. The chile relleno tasted a little sour and the cheese in the enchiladas tasted freezer burnt. We literally left our plates mostly full. Never going back again. Customer service was not good either. The wait staff was not any better. The waiter almost hit my face while reaching over to my brother from my end instead of walking over to his side. It was unfortunate just a bad experience over all.

Walked in restaurant during breakfast asked owner for a table of 12 she was very rude said they couldn’t serve us at that time because there was no room. This lady does not accommodate at any time or is friendly at all. However servers are very attentive.

I’ve been here before and had decent food but yesterday I’ve had the most horrible tacos! Sorry I didn’t take a picture to show you. Looked like they were done or reheated in the microwave, tortillas looked so dry I tried to eat them by cutting off the dry tortilla but it was impossible, I had to leave them. Not going back.

We waited for a while before the waitress came, we said oh I thought we where invisible. Later the waitress that helped us said what do you want for drinks my sister answered tea, I asked if the tea was sweet and she said no I then said I don’t want tea by this time she replied I’ll be back not giving a chance to said what I wanted to drink, when so she brought the one drink she said (ARE YOU READY TO ORDER AND IF NOT I HAVE OTHER TABLES TO SERVE!!!!!) She was very rude!!!!!

Honestly was excited to come with my grandfather to what appears at first sight to be an authentic Mexican restaurant…. It was anything BUT authentic!! My grandfather ordered heuvos ranchero and it was literally just eggs OVELRY SMOOTHERED in chile con queso not salsa rojo or verde!! The picadillo burrito was SATURATED in pure grease!! No real flavor to it either. I needed to add salt and pepper which is so rare for me and Mexican food!! So sad too!! I will our waitress was AMAZING SWEET and attentive!! She was the best part of the visit; thank you Margarita For being amazing!! The kitchen just needs to do much better, try and maybe put out authentic plates and not serve soggy burritos!! The fact that the tortilla was soggy from the kitchen to the table speaks volumes on the amount of grease left in the burrito.

I was disappointed with the caldo de res because the meat was the size of a lemon, I told the waitress and she said the size it’s perfect. If you want another piece of meat will Cost you $2.75 and they charged me the extra piece of meat. I told the cashier and her answer was really disappointed. She said that the caldo the rest was more of vegetables and I told her well it shouldn’t call caldo de res it should call caldo de vegetables only Hope and the owner check what are they giving to the customers.

Was there on 7/24/25 with a large group after a memorial service. When I went to pay my individual ticket, one of the girls at the register was rude. She kept insisting that one of our group members had left without paying. I explained to her that he didn't order anything but water, as he was going to work. She kept denying me to pay, saying someone had to pay the whole groups ticket. I asked for a manager She said there was none. I asked her her name she refused. I finally told her I was going to walk out without paying, and if she wanted to call the police, to do so as she was the one refusing my money and it would fall on her accord that I left without paying. Finally I told her that everyone was going to go pay individually and she didn't have a choice. One of her Co workers told her to do it and she finally did. This took a good 10 minutes of her being defiant and unprofessional. She needs to be in the back peeling potatoes and not handling customer service!!! We will never go back to that place, none of us 28 people thanks to her you lost many customers. I will stick to your sister restaurant La Malinche Yarborough ✌️
