Dev our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful. And the drinks were top tier. We ordered the carbonara in hopes of getting the presentation with the cheese wheel, which we didn’t get because it was too busy. But that is my only complaint. I will definitely be back.
My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here for the friends & family soft opening, and it was nothing short of AMAZING! From the moment you walk in the door, the place is just beautiful, the lighting sets the perfect mood for dinner and staff makes you feel welcomed. Our server for dinner was Daniel, he was great! Very professional, attentive, and he was knowledgeable of the menu from the starters, to entrees, desserts and cocktails. I had the Hibiscus Mezcalita an my husband had the Mediterranean Mule. Both DELICIOUS! We had the grilled octopus as a starter, cooked to PERFECTION! I had the surf & turf and my husband had the Smoked ribeye for our entrees. Both our steaks were PERFECT! It's th first time we actually get our steaks at the temperature we asked for! I then had the Belgian Chocolate cake for dessert, perfect way to end dinner! Overall, great experience and the perfect place for date night! You get what you pay for, and this place is the definition of fine dining! We will definitely be back!
Meduza delivered a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of bold Mediterranean flavors. Every dish we tried felt thoughtfully prepared, from the perfectly cooked seafood to the fresh, vibrant accompaniments. The octopus was especially memorable … tender, flavorful, and expertly seasoned, while the pasta dishes were rich without being heavy and clearly made with quality ingredients. Our server, Diego, truly elevated the experience. He passed the food perfectly, timed each course flawlessly, and his recommendations were completely on point. Because of his guidance, we decided to order more appetizers, and that turned out to be one of the best decisions of the night—the appetizer selection was amazing and offered something for everyone to enjoy. The cocktails were just as impressive as the food, with a martini selection that balanced creativity and classic flavors. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, service was excellent, and the overall experience was outstanding. We will definitely be back.
This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and we had such a lovely experience. While waiting at the bar for our table, Kate took wonderful care of us, serving perfectly crafted cocktails and delicious appetizers. Once seated, we thoroughly enjoyed our entrées along with excellent service. We will definitely be returning soon.
Had a wonderful server Santi! He was so friendly and kind. Lived the service. We came to celebrate our anniversary and they brought a complementary dessert with a candle. Very thoughtful. Loved it! To start we had the hummus and tzatziki and it was very good 👌 i had a watermelon martini which was delicious. Never tried martinis but this was really good. For my entree I had a pistachio crusted salmon. It was good just not something i would come back and get. I really didn’t see pistachio anywhere it tasted more like regular breading. My husband had the Alfred pasta, it was light portions just seemed a bit small and it lacked flavor and sauce for my taste. I would like to come back and try other things on the menu that i had my eye on. They just opened so im sure its a learning process but would definitely come back for the service, vibe, apps and drinks 👌👏
Our first time here. We will definitely be back soon. We got greeted and seated right away. Our server Daniel was exceptional. The food was amazing. The steak melted like butter with so much flavor. It was great experience.
Lunch menu was amazing!!! Kristen was our server. Very attentive!! Spaghetti was phenomenal! Gyro was exquisite! Medusa Burger was to die for! Can’t go wrong with the hummus and honey fries with feta. Dessert was the cherry on top! Baklava cheesecake!! The FOH manager Itzel made us feel right at home along with the chef Alexis and the owner! Manny greeted us with the perfect smile!! We will be back!!
Both Tristan and Moises took wonderful care of our party. We came to celebrate my birthday and both gentlemen did an excellent job or taking care of us and making sure our needs are met. I’d highly recommend swinging by for a date night or intimate dinner.
My first time here & man it was delicious. Food came out good, no complaints!! Cooked almost to perfection .. My server Dev was absolutely amazing . Checked on me periodically, food was on time , still hot , she filled my drink without me having to ask , she made sure my order was correct . Overall wonderful service .. I’d definitely recommend this place to family and friends . Id also tell them ask for Dev . I will be back for sure . Thank you for the great service .
Came in for a dinner, immediately got greeted at the door. Host asked important questions and got walked to a table. *Devanie* immediately introduced her self and gave us the best service I’ve had in El Paso. Coming from Hospitality life in other states I was yet to see proper formality at restaurants in El Paso. Devanie and Meduza restaurant definitely lived up to those high end standards.
Tristan and Moises were the best waiters. Both were very knowledgeable and very polite to take cate of our birthday celebration. If you want to receive superb service make sure to request them!
HUGE shoutout to Santiago, our server at Medusa! He totally rocked our table! He was attentive, friendly, and had the best recommendations. Our food came out super fast, and it was all delicious! The service was top-notch, and my husband and I left feeling super full and happy. If you're looking for great service to celebrate your birthday in El Paso, request Santiago - you won't regret it!
This was our first time here and it was a GREAT first experience. Our waiter was named Leo (highly recommend) and he provided all of the information we needed about the menu. We enjoyed the martini specials on Wednesday which is ladies night. The special menu included the best greek tacos I have ever had. We came for steak and ended up getting pasta dishes that were so delicious. If you are looking for a great fine dining experience thats not ridiculously expensive, go to Meduza. I can’t wait to come back and try more items!
My wife and I went came with friends for a couples date night out to check out Meduza. We got seated and served by Santi, who elevated our experience at the restaurant with his recommendations and always keeping us updated with anything we would order (drinks, starters, entrees and dessert). The atmosphere was intimate and pleasant indoors with low music which allowed for easy conversations amongst our table. Our drinks and food were all exceptional and of our liking, we can highly recommend any steak as we had the filet mignon, ribeye and Tomahawk. We had different drinks and starters (to many to name) that everyone in the table loved them and sometimes ordered more than once. We highly recommend checking out Meduza as we will definitely be coming back again.
Adriana was super nice to my mom and I! So sweet, and great service despite how packed it was! The food came super quick and it was delicious. Highly recommend the Baklava Cheesecake (good to share but finished it all by myself)
Great food and even better service! Meduza Mediterranean Steak House delivers a true 10/10 experience. The flavors were incredible and the staff made us feel truly welcomed. Will definitely be back.
This place was Great overall!! It was amazing to find great food and amazing atmosphere to share with my wife in my birthday! Mrs. Jazlyn took care of extremely well. She provided great guidance with the menu and drinks! Will definitely be back 🥳
First and foremost. Kate bartender/Server! Wow she was just phenomenal. Made our dinner for my birthday worth every penny. Very attentive and on point. Now let’s go to the food. I honestly was blown away on how delicious it was. I saw it had some negative reviews and believe me just try it for yourself before you judge. P.S. I have to give the manager also a good review. She accommodated us with something minor but actually made everything so much better.
We have been hearing great things about this new place and decided it would be fitting for an anniversary lunch. We tried the Mediterranean Chopped salad and the Carbonara pasta. Both really good, unfortunately, they were out of black truffle but Chef promised to double my portion at my next visit! My hubby had a carajillo and we were surprised with a brownie dessert in celebration of our anniversary, amazingly good! Our server Devanie was amazing, she knew the menu and suggested her favorite and most popular dishes. She went as far as recommending dishes for our next visit, which we can’t wait to come back and try!
We had the pepperoni pizza there, but took the Bolognese and the truffle carbonara home to eat for dinner, with a slice of their Belgian chocolate cake. The drinks and the pizza were very good, pizza was fresh and delicious. The Bolognese could've used a little more flavor, but was good. The carbonara was fantastic. And the cake....so good. We will definitely be back to try different dishes. Our server was super sweet and very attentive, I think her name was Camille or Camilla.
We had heard about Meduza on social media and decided to try it for my husband’s birthday! Walking in… transfers forms you to another location of neutral minimalist ambiance. The cocktails were a great compliment to our appetizers. Our server Kate was very attentive and provided great service which made our dining experience even better. The management was attentive is making sure we had adequate seating for our party of 8. We all enjoyed our food choices of carbonara, pear crusted salmon and tomato basil soup with sourdough bread. As I was preparing this review I read the previous reviews and think it’s worth giving the restaurant a try. They are trying to improve the menu choices and services. We will be back to dine again soon!
We came to celebrate 🎉 my 65 th birthday 🎂 and we had a wonderful time celebrating. Stephanie was amazing 🤩 she was attentive , kind and diligent. The food was amazing and the Medusa martini 👍🏽 beautiful I know there are some bad reviews but trust me it is a nice dining experience. You can always try it for lunch or brunch.
Good restaurant, lots of room for improvement but they just opened so it’s understandable. Leaving this review as constructive criticism. We made a reservation for 7:15 pm but did not get seated until 20 mins later. Food options are good. We started with the hummus and tzatziki and it was very good. I ordered the Alfredo, I wish it was creamier but the pasta texture was great! Portion size could be better for the price. My wife ordered the Pistachio crusted salmon but you don't really taste the pistachio, but it was good either way. My wife also ordered the watermelon martini and it was really good! Santiago our server was attentive and provided great service!
Food was great overall. The fennel salad was a little bitter, but our server was kind enough to offer an alternative at no cost. Moises, our sever, was very attentive. Atmosphere is cool and laid back. We would definitely be back.
Nat the waitress was amazing! Drinks were amazing! I had the oysters for starters and definitely not as fresh but I should’ve known since we’re no where near the water. Halibut was tasty but pretty over cooked. Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. Dessert was also pretty amazing. I’ll go back!
Jazlyn was an amazing Host! She was always making sure table was never cluttered with dishes, drinks were never empty, and checking in to make sure that we didn’t anything else. It was a great experience
This place is fire 10/10 steak is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Definitely try the New York strip steak and Gyro Starter plate. For outfits you're just fine if you go business casual, definitely not a suit and tie place. Definitely would go back- and shout out to our waiter Van he did a great job 5 stars
Incredible service, incredible food. Dont let the exterior throw you off because once you walk through the doors you are baffled how beautiful and warming it is. Staff is great and food even better! Definitely coming back over and over. My server was amazing! Definitely coming back again!
Meduza Mediterranean Steakhouse – Outstanding Experience! I had an incredible dining experience at Meduza Mediterranean Steakhouse! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The food was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented — you can really taste the quality and care in every bite. A special shout-out to Devanie, who made the evening even better. She was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations that truly elevated the meal. Her warm personality and professionalism made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for amazing Mediterranean flavors, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service, Meduza is the place to go. Highly recommend asking for Devanie — she’s absolutely wonderful!
We came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and it was an incredible experience. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the overall atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming. Everyone made the night feel special—definitely a place we’d love to come back to!
Mesero Diego excelente servicio
Fantastic service from Devanie and crew! My husband and I haven't gone on a date night in awhile and I'm so glad he brought me to Meduza. I love Mediterranean cuisines and the food was delicious! Atmosphere was chill vibes and we didn't have to shout over the music. Warm decor, delicious sparkling water, and non-alcoholic drinks (Peach Bellini and Cucumber Lime). Exceptional and professional service from the hostess, Devanie, the bar staff, and kitchen staff. Thankful we were able to make a reservation ahead of time and it may be pricey for most, but I'm not complaining. My husband made me feel special by bringing me to a fancy restaurant and that 17 years together doesn't mean we can't go out, dress up, and have a good time. ❤️ Looking forward to trying the food during Sunday brunch hours!
Tristan was an amazing waiter! Super friendly, attentive without hovering, and really knew the menu. He made great recommendations and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. He checked in at all the right times and handled everything smoothly. Service like this honestly makes a restaurant memorable. Hope we get him again next time!

I had a fantastic evening at Meduza Mediterranean Steakhouse, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone craving a relaxed dinner with great flavors. The atmosphere hits just the right note—warm lighting, cozy tables, and a subtle hum of conversation that makes you feel right at home without any stuffiness. At $ 60 to $70.00 per person (including a drink and entree), the price point feels fair for the quality. The food was the star of the show: everything we ordered was bursting with fresh, bold tastes. My surf and turf plate was a highlight—tender filet mignon paired beautifully with herb butter, and the sides of carrots, rosemary potatoes, and grilled asparagus were spot-on. The seafood element shone through in the sauce, but here's a gentle nudge: the shrimp could use an upgrade in size. They were tasty and perfectly cooked, but a few bigger ones would elevate the dish from great to unforgettable. It's a small tweak that could make it pop even more. Our cocktails were another win—my old-fashioned was smooth and perfectly balanced, and my partner's spicy Martini had just the right kick without overpowering the meal. That said, the wait for them was a bit of a drag; it took about 10 minutes on a semi-busy night, which pulled us out of the moment a tad. Faster service there would keep the good vibes flowing uninterrupted. Overall, Meduza is a gem worth visiting, and I'll be back soon. Kudos on the delicious plates and inviting space—keep refining the drink timing and shrimp sourcing, and you'll have folks raving even louder. Four stars for now, with easy potential for five!
I’m writing this review in the hopes that constructive feedback will help Meduza reach its full potential. First, the positives. Ambiance. Absolutely love the ambiance. Entering through the massive doors, you feel like you’ve been transported to Greece. The lighting, architecture, art, and overall vibe is on point. Service. Top notch service. The front of the house is welcoming, and they immediately got us seated (despite the fact that we were early for our reservation). The wait staff is highly attentive and made sure our food and drinks were brought out quickly. The inviting ambiance and expert service made me really want to love this restaurant. But, the food. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t good. The presentation was uninspired. The plating felt thrown together and left me wanting for the chef to pay greater attention to detail. I easily could have looked past this, if the flavor had made up for it; it did not. Very little seasoning in any of the dishes. The pasta was prepared well, and the steak was cooked properly, but they both lacked any depth of flavor. The truffles were near tasteless (didn’t know that was possible) and it was clear that the chef is still developing the recipe for the sauce. The rainbow carrots were so crunchy they seemed raw, and the steak, while seared nicely, tasted like…well, nothing. Highly disappointed in the appetizer (rubbery octopus) and entrees. But, the dessert. Meduza knows how to make a fantastic cheesecake! Paired nicely with a delicious cappuccino, I left dinner feeling like Meduza does have potential. With some work on the recipes and presentation of the food, Meduza could become one of El Paso’s best restaurants. I try not to judge too harshly while a restaurant is still working out the kinks, so I’m giving Meduza a four star rating. We’ll try here again, and hopefully, next time will be five stars.
The space is very nice and modern. Drinks were great and strong. The food was Delicious ,only complaint would have to be the chicken was a bit on the dry side but great flavors!. Our waiter Tristen was Excellent and made sure service was running smoothly. Definitely will be returning.
Meduza mediterranean steakhouse in El Paso is absolutely beautiful — modern, stylish, and even the restrooms feel high-end. Our waiter, Melvin, was fantastic. He gave us great recommendations and treated us with true VIP service. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. I especially loved the wood-chopped plate presentation. I ordered the filet mignon medium-rare, and it was cooked perfectly — tender, flavorful, and delicious. The combination carrots were also amazing. The only downside was the utensils. Even though they were very pretty, the forks were a bit difficult to hold and made it challenging to cut our steaks. The French knives were gorgeous, but I’d definitely recommend the restaurant consider updating the rest of the utensils. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The ambiance is stunning, the service is excellent, and the food is worth the visit. I definitely recommend dining here for a great experience!
The service was fantastic! Our server Devanie was absolutely wonderful and did her best to handle our rowdy bunch! Unfortunately they were out of stock of certain things and couldn’t abide to some of our requests but we had an absolutely wonderful experience and will definitely ask for Devanie again!
We had a great experience overall at Meduza Mediterranean, largely thanks to the exceptional service. Our waiter, Diego, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and always willing to offer thoughtful suggestions for both drinks and food that genuinely enhanced our experience. Looking around the restaurant, it was clear that other tables were also being taken care of efficiently and in a timely manner, and the manager even stopped by to check in and make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. Where the experience fell short was with one dish: the mussels with chorizo. Unfortunately, several of the mussels had cracked shells or broke apart while we were trying to remove them, which made the dish difficult to enjoy. This may have been due to overcooking, but either way, it was disappointing. That said, the rest of the food and the drinks were very good, and I don’t want this review to come across as focused on just one miss. While I may not be rushing back anytime soon, the service alone—especially from Diego—left a strong positive impression.
The ambiance was great. Staff was wonderful, and very attentive. I had the ribeye with roasted carrots was flavorful. I will say that the salmon plate my daughter had needs a glaze for more flavor as well as the sides that it came with. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza to go tasted it later and unfortunately had a very odd taste to it. I will definitely try this place again. For it only being open a few days there is room for improvement with flavors for the dishes that were served.
From the moment I walked in, the welcoming was amazing! It is a very open and gorgeous concept with panoramic views all around. Drinks were great for the most part, the only thing I found extremely odd was the fact that our server informed us that they were out of vodka and that our only option for our specific drinks was gin. However, at full view of the bar, I noticed a full Tito’s bottle, Grey Goose, and what appeared to be Stolli. Granted, as a former service industry individual, I did let it slide and chose a different beverage for time sake. An explanation would have been great. Food temp was not cold but also not hot. Granted, today was only their second official day of opening so I am giving all the benefit of the doubt because I genuinely do see potential if they take their reviews seriously and into consideration. Aside from that, customer service from management as well as the gentleman who greeted us at the door was absolutely fabulous. The portion sizes were immaculate and overall the restaurant was very clean and beautiful. I am looking forward to an all 5 star experience next visit!!
Service was great! Santiago was very kind and attentive. The hostess and bartender were friendly as well (didn’t catch their names). However, the food was sub-par at best. We went on a Tuesday for late lunch. Place was almost empty but food took over 30 minutes to arrive. Portions were ridiculously small (see pictures) and the meat was dry in both sandwiches. The decor is very nice and the atmosphere was enjoyable but I doubt we will return unless we hear about improvement in food quality.
Started with the caress salad which was tasty. For dinner got the salmon and was really disappointing. Salmon was dry, quinoa was flavorless and room temperature....it needed something else to bring flavor. Desert was huge and tasty. Service was good. Atmosphere was okay but tables so close it was hard to exit. Not great for inimitable conversations. Price too high for flavors that were delivered.
We came to meduza based on a recommendation from a close friend. After seeing the internet advertisement we decided to give it a try. Upon arriving to the location we were greeted by a nice young lady who was professional and attentive. Our waiter Angelino was very pleasant and service was good. The cuisine was ok. First the small cup for our drinks was kinda shocking ! Not trying to be dramatic but cmon? Second the charcuterie board was unimpressive in my opinion. The lamb chops on the other hand were delicious. The Alfredo with chicken was good but would have liked if the sauce would have been more of cheesy and creamy. The pizza was also just a pizza. I mean if it's on the menu it should be a voice for the restaurant and also be a hit. Sadly it wasn't. The fries with honey and feta cheese were good but they were counted like 12 I think ? Over all it was ok:/
I had the opportunity to attend a family reunion on Sunday. The restaurant was extremely clean and well maintained, and everything looked on point. The service was excellent and very attentive. However, the food quality was well below expectations. The portion sizes were surprisingly small, and we tried several different cuts of meat—none of them impressed anyone at the table. The food arrived cold, and the seafood platter was bland and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant. El Paso has many great restaurants that offer much better food quality and flavor.
Our server Dev was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the menu and even presented the menu to us. the atmosphere was calm and sophisticated, very suitable for a date night or birthday. Let’s start with the pros. The lamb chops & the chicken on top of our pasta were perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. The creme brûlée martini & sangria were both wonderful. I’d come here solely for the drinks & for Dev’s service. Unfortunately, the food was simply just not what we were expecting. The carbonara didn’t come in the cheese wheel shown on their instagram, and plate size was very small, and the pasta itself was doughy & just not up to par. Their alfredo was watered down & our carbonara tasted very citrusy. the prosciutto was undercooked and just really really chewy. Additionally, after OFFERING water to start us off before we got our drinks, they charged us $9??? Honestly made zero sense to us and most likely wouldn’t be coming back.
The food was over all good, not great. My steak was overcooked and sides undercooked. I expect excellence for their prices. My wife's pasta was excellent and the cheesecake was divine though. The seating is cramped and not ideal for intimacy. Too be fair we went for Valentine's Day so it was extremely busy, so I wouldn't condemn this place. I would probably go back to try lunch if someone took me.
We were excited to try a new restaurant in El Paso. Upon walking in, the space is beautiful. The decor and feel of the restaurant transported you to a place in the Mediterranean. And the servers were on top of it! They were attentive, warm, and offered suggestions on the menu. But the food felt….uninspired. The plating was not thoughtful and flavors (including salt) were lacking on just about every course. The restaurant has incredibly high potential given the ambience, good drinks, and top-notch service but all that could not make up for the lack of vision and execution with the dishes. We ordered the ribeye. Its thin-cut was particularly disappointing; cooked adequately but lacking depth of flavor, with minimal seasoning and no real char or richness to make it stand out. I expected robust flavors from rosemary, salt, pepper, or other spices but felt there was none of either or significantly lacking. The sprig of rosemary that lay across the steak perhaps was the “rosemary” part of the dish. The steak felt more like an afterthought than a centerpiece, especially for a dish that should be bold and satisfying. The branzino fared no better. While the fish itself was fresh, it arrived essentially unseasoned and bare, relying almost entirely on its natural flavor. It was dry and gave no forward flavors. A sauce could have elevated the dish…I mean really, a simple sauce perhaps a lemon-caper, herb, or olive-based accompaniment could have added brightness and balance, but as served, the dish felt flat and unfinished. Overall, the meal lacked creativity and confidence, especially compared to the care evident in the decor and service. Still, this restaurant has clear potential. With stronger seasoning, more thoughtful plating, and a willingness to embrace the vibrant flavors Mediterranean cuisine is known for, it could become something truly special. I hope to see it improve, because the foundation is already there. We really wanted to like Meduza! We still think with more focus on flavors and imagination, this could be one of the city’s best new restaurants.
Just went for a quick dinner with my wife. Weak hostess, nasty floors, service staff otherwise seemed ok but just as we got some food a group of Californians hovered over us and chatted loudly…so obnoxious but certainly not to anyone else. My rosemary smoked steak was really weak too. Overall super pretentious and expensive for very mediocre food…
As soon as we walked into the restaurant, my boyfriend mentioned how beautiful the atmosphere was it actually reminded us of a place we visited in Mexico. But when they seated us, they took us into a strange back room that completely took us away from the ambience we were enjoying. It was really disappointing. I asked the hostess if we could be seated somewhere else, and she said she would check upstairs, but she took a long time to come back. I ended up having to ask our waitress, who was very kind and patient, and he took us upstairs right away. Once upstairs, we realized there were TVs, which felt unnecessary for such a beautiful restaurant, but overall we preferred the seating there much more, and my boyfriend was happier than with the original table. We ordered drinks, and I will say the drinks were amazing no complaints there. But I do agree with others about the plating and portion sizes. Everything felt very small and somewhat carelessly put together. I ordered the shrimp pasta; the flavor was okay but the dish was cold, and I only had a few pieces of pasta and about six shrimp. My boyfriend ordered the salmon, and when I tried it, all I could taste was a very strong Dijon mustard flavor, and it was dry. We shared the jamón appetizer, which was also very small, and for dessert we had the baklava cheesecake, which was good. Overall though, a lot of the food lacked flavor and warmth. This restaurant has a lot of potential, and I understand they just opened, but for a place positioned as high-end and for the amount of money we spent it honestly wasn’t worth it.
There’s definitely room for improvement. We came here for a birthday celebration and were seated upstairs. Service was friendly but challenging. Drinks took too long, and my dad couldn’t even get a cold beer, HE HAD TO GET AN APEROL SPRITZ !!!. The scallop pasta was decent only if you add extra salt, but most dishes missed the mark. The escargot and shrimp and lobster pizza were the only decent dishes here. Suggestions for Improvement: Lower the TV brightness upstairs: it’s extremely distracting and hurts eyes after a while, the whole table hated this. Provide proper utensils for escargots. Consider adding a bar upstairs to speed up drink service. Improve pasta consistency: several dishes were undercooked NOT COOL. Offer better value for the price point. Please pay attention to your food, it really can be disappointing. At least get the drinks going! I’ll give this place a second chance because of the escargots, but there’s a lot of potential being missed. :(
I'm going to start off by mentioning the restaurant has only been open for two weeks so I believe they have time to grow and fix any kinks. We were a party of six and upon entering we were nicely greeted by the host and the restaurant was gorgeous inside. Drinks and dessert were amazing but sadly the food was not what we expected. My cousin and I ordered steaks, both were cold including the sides. I am not one to complain but if I'm paying $58+ for a meal it should at least be warm. They took back our steaks and just reheated them (same steaks). Its was fine for my steak since I ordered it medium well but my cousin ordered it medium rare, now it was cooked past his liking. Service was good, friendly waitress. The portions were a bit small for the price. I will definitely come back to give the restaurant one more chance. Im hoping they will improve.
I honestly don't understand how this place has such high ratings. Our waitress took 20 minutes to take our drink orders, despite us having a reservation. We asked for soups and salads to be served before our main courses, but everything arrived at the same time. The tomato soup tastes like water with basil and salt. Everything was served lukewarm. Our waitress barely checked in on us for drink refills. I ordered my steak medium, but it arrived closer to rare. My guests, who also ordered their steaks medium, had theirs closer to well done. The portions are small, overpriced, and tasteless. It's disappointing because the atmosphere is nice, but it doesn’t make up for the terrible food and service. I gave two stars because the ambiance is lovely, but the food is really deserving of no stars at all—there's definitely a lot for this establishment to improve.
I expected better. The menu is limited, if you're looking for Mediterranean. The wine selection is questionable. The pistachio panko crusted salmon was less than desirable. The crusted skin on the salmon was dry, came off the salmon and was tough to cut. The salmon lacked flavor. The quinoa that accompanied the salmon was simply boiled with no salt or flavor. The service provided by the waitress was great. My 3 companions said their salads and soup were good. However, the restaurant was not fully stocked with all items on the menu. Three items we asked for were not available. The assistant manager was made aware of the discrepancies with the food and stated she'd let the back staff know. The manager, tall thin guy, inquired about the experience and didn't know how to respond to unsatisfactory feedback. Didn't offer to make things right. Try it and see what you think. Your experience may be better.
I went here with my boyfriend and our friend. While the place was beautiful the food tasted like nothing. Our friend ordered the Gyro and it was incredibly small. I ordered a pizza, and while the crust was good, the cheese and sauce tasted cheap. Lastly, my boyfriend ordered the Carbonara which tasted like nothing and was cold. Overall I’m incredibly disappointed, I was the one that rooted for this place and ended up paying $100 on food that was just ok.
Everything is just okay. We had the hummus, the escargot, the branzino, the pasta and the tomato basil soup and everything was just okay, no one finished their food. The creme brulee tastes like cheesecake. Not recommended for the price.
We were placed in a private room away from the beautiful restaurant by the kitchen. I recommend making that room more inviting. The filet Mignon was dry & needed seasoning. Veggies were bland. And unfortunately they were out of the wine I requested. The server was nice though. I expect more from the restaurant but I’m hoping there will be improvements as it grows.
First time at this restaurant for a bday party. I had high expectations due to posted reviews but was sadly disappointed. I ordered the crusted salmon which was extremely salty and quinoa tasted burnt. The service was below par. 4 people in the party did not get there food on time. On top of everything we ate our meal with the smell of sewage in the background. For the amount of money being charged you would expect perfection. Another FANCY restaurant providing poor service, food, and atmosphere. Do not waste your money on this place.
My first time I came to eat and order a pizza and pasta it was good not bad. Also the waitress was not attentive! Didn’t even noticed we didn’t have water in our cups I had to ask for water! I then order the backlava cheesecake with Ice cream and it was not good the pecans on the desert tasted expired and really nasty! I told the waitress how bad the dessert it was and she said she was going to tell the chef! But then charged me a 13 dollar desert that was not fresh! Please don’t get the desert options they are not fresh! I would not come again unfortunately!
I was really expecting a lot from this place since we’ve heard good things.. service was terrible; first it took them like 30 minutes to take our orders, after that it took them almost an hour to get out dinner. They brought in one plate and the rest of us just had to wait. We ask for a couple of sides and those were never brought. Drinks, we had to kept asking the waiter because they never asked if we needed another round. To the point that we were told that they had run out of glasses which was the reason it was taking longer to get our drinks. Overall food was decent, but do to the terrible service will not be going back.
The tables are placed very close together, which makes the dining experience feel cramped. There were no tablecloths, which took away from what is presented as a higher-end dining atmosphere. I ordered a steak priced around $40, and unfortunately it did not meet expectations for that price point. The quality and flavor were disappointing, and I’ve had better cuts of meat at much more affordable restaurants. The service, however, was good. The staff was attentive and polite, which was the highlight of the visit. The bar area also needs attention. It looks unfinished and very limited, with few bottles and not much selection, which was surprising for a restaurant positioning itself as upscale. Overall, the experience did not justify the pricing. I would not return or recommend this restaurant.
I went to this restaurant with my friends last night, and honestly, we were really disappointed. The food was bad: the pizza was dry and tasted like frozen pizza, the risotto was overcooked, and the octopus was burnt. I ordered a salad, but for $16 I got a tiny portion that looked more like a side salad. One of my friends ordered fries and literally got about 15 fries on her plate. We did speak to the manager, who was polite and apologized. He even offered us complimentary drinks and food for next time, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, though, we don’t plan on coming back. The food just wasn’t worth the price.
Place is fairly new, waiter seem to no have much experience, our main dishes came out and we hadn’t finished out appetizers. The octopus and escargots were good, not great. The meat was less than good for almost $60 Dlls steak , no thank you. Didn’t have the bottle on stock and the waiter offered a bottle twice expensive. I might give it a try after a year to see if they improve, today’s experience wasn’t nice. Waiter didn’t mention last call and we missed the dessert, even though it was 1@ min until the kitchen supposedly closed and still denied dessert and old fashioned was !9 more than 2 onz and the sugar was still at the bottom of the glass Needs a lot of improvement
Definitely disappointed!!! I was very surprised when my pasta came out within five minutes of ordering!!! Food was flavorless, very similar to hospital food!!! I was also shocked I was served in a plastic plate as this is described as an "upscale" restaurant.Worst food I've had in a while!!!
My experience was not pleasant at all. My party consisted of six people, and we went there expecting to eat together and enjoy our time, but that was not the case. Every ten minutes a different plate was brought out, so we never got to eat together. One of the entrées was steak, and it took a long time for them to bring a steak knife. I also ordered the carbonara because they prepare it in an aged Parmesan cheese wheel, but it tasted like straight butter. I do not recommend ordering that dish. The lamb chops were decent. The gyro plate was everything except the grilled lamb—it did not taste like lamb at all, and I didn’t like the meat.
This was such a dissapointment. Nothing here is worth going back for. Over cooked octopus, extremely salty risotto...I mean inedible. Got the tomahawk and it was poorly cooked. Now given, its hard to cook a thick steak but if you sell it act like a high end place then you should have the skills to back it up. Parts were burned over well done and others blue and cold. We also ordered the iberico plate. This place has zero idea how to cut, plate and present it. It's like its trendy so they had to have it. Overall a beautiful place with a terrible product. I cant believe people are so forgiving and actually say this place is good. Been there three times to give a fair assessment and equally dissapointed every time. Stay away.
Went over the weekend, and being underwhelmed is an understatement! Food subpar, prices ridiculous for the quality. Specialty drinks… well they might need a new bartender because they can be better. The charcuterie board was sad, and the ribeye steak is definitely not worth the money. Having “fine dining” prices and not meeting the qualifications is crazy. The service was not that great. It was just not a very good experience for us to say the least. Will not be returning.
We were a party of 3 coming in for lunch. We started with a charcuterie board, which came and was fine. All the cured meats tasted like they came from a supermarket, and had been left sitting in the back of a fridge. I ordered the carbonara, and my disappointment was immeasurable. It was cold, and to the point that a film had formed atop the sauce. The pieces of meat were burnt to a crisp, leaving the cold oily sauce also tasting of char. We also had a pizza for the table, which resembled something like a fast food pizza, in regards to taste and levels of grease. If you are expecting a refreshing Italian style slice, this is not it. Overall, the food was old and stale, and at best unremarkable. For the price point, I expected much better. This experience was exceedingly unpleasant.
I really wanted to try this place despite all the negative reviews I saw and I should have listened. I was there last night to celebrate my husbands birthday. Ordered the carbonera pasta & usda prime steak. Pasta was extremely dry with no taste, the steak was actually ridiculous! I would say the chef didn’t even put salt on it. I’ve never experienced such bad food from a restaurant. The service was horrific, our reservation was at 9:15 and I didn’t receive my drink until 10:35. Overall, I would not recommend at all, service/ food 0/10.
Unfortunately not the experience I was hoping for. We came to celebrate a birthday for our family members and came with high expectations after hearing about this place. As we walked in we were immediately acknowledged and sat in our reserved table. Server came to get our drink order right away and then our food order, from there everything went south. The bolognese pasta tasted like the ingredients they used were of very low quality, my palate was greasy after a couple of bites I just couldn’t finish it, chicken alfredo was flavorless. My wine glass came after 40 ish minutes of ordering it, tomahawk has no unique experience, it is just served on a cutting board and does not come with extra plates or steak utensils, we had to keep reminding our server that we were missing items and even get the attention of other servers because our server did not really come to check on us to see if we had what we needed when the food finally gradually came. The server did apologize when we were finally paying but there was nothing about this experience that made the visit to Meduza enjoyable nor did it make me want to come back, it was so awful that I find myself in the position of having to tell others about it.
Does not even deserve the one star. Service=terrible and I was a server so i was trying to give grace but eventually just couldn’t anymore. Food was god awful only good thing we had was a tomahawk steak that was $125 and didn’t come with any sort of experience just had a kitchen staff drop it on the table and walk away no extra plate no silverware no steak knives and not even our side of asparagus came until 30 minutes after our steak. Waited 25 min for a glass of wine. I could go on.
Not Worth the Price I had high expectations given the upscale atmosphere, but unfortunately the food fell very short. While the presentation was beautiful, the dishes lacked seasoning and depth of flavor across the board. For the price point, I expected much more. The space itself is lovely, but great ambiance can’t make up for food that’s simply bland.
