Ever heard of fast-foot Texas bbq? Dang straight!!!!! You really gotta try!

One of the best BBQ places in El Paso. The meat is always tender and juicy. The system can be a bit confusing, but the employees are always ready to help. The set up is a pick nick on the park.

After three stops here while traveling through El Paso I finally got the ordering routine down; it can be a bit confusing for a newbie. 1) grab a cold beverage from the ice chests and then look at the large menu on the wall to decide what you want. 2) take any items from the cold case for your order and 3) THEN proceed to one of the registers to order your BBQ. The folks behind the counter will set up a basket with paper place mats, stuff you picked up and your BBQ. After paying proceed to the condiments counter for add-ons, napkins, utensils, etc. Bottle openers are on the wall near the large sink for hand washing (near the corridor to the restrooms). Pick any table. Sauces are on every table. If you are charging your EV, sit in the back section and you can watch your car. Enjoy the good food!

Rudy's has excellent customer service and food. We were given samples of the brisket and turkey, as it was our first time there, and it was excellent. The guy at the register explained how the menu worked and made some suggestions as well. 10/10 will go back again.

Great place, great atmosphere. Very friendly, clean. You'll feel right at home with these guys. Most of all, great bbq at good prices. You get to choose lean or moist brisket, chicken, turkey, pork and pulled pork. Then there's very tasty sides like corn on the cob, potato salad, coleslaw, some very mean cream corn and bbq beans. Finally you have two bbq sauces to choose from, sissy and regular. In the store you can buy chips, candy, sauces and other stuff. Have a fountain drink or a beer to go with all that. My favorite is brisket or chicken. And the cream corn. That's some tasty stuff. But really, I've never been disappointed in this place. Probably the best deal in town for barbecue, or at least top three. Very much recommended. Edit: Spelling.

My Texan friend recommended Rudy’s for brisket and I found myself here by chance as the Tesla supercharger was next door. Meat was tender and juicy as promised! Two BBQ sauces to choose from on the table and a side station with fixings to load up on. It’s also a gas station/convenience store with drinks and snacks to go. Restrooms were clean. Hand washing station next to the seating area was a bonus. TVs around the picnic tables and seating area and open air in the back with large windows.

Rudy's is one of the best bbq places in the area. The meat selection is very good and I can definitely recommend the brisket and pulled pork. Also the baked potatoes are very delicious. The prices are a little high. All in all a great place for having a meal!

I don't think that I've ever had a bad experience at this place! Smokey, solid, Real Texas BBQ. It might not be fancy, but it is obscenely delicious! Been going to Rudy's since the mid-90s. I am so happy they have expanded out beyond the original in Leon Springs Texas. Quality at this Rudy's is just as good as the original. If you come, you have to have the creamed corn! It's ridiculous!

Love the sausage sandwich it was loaded with sausage add some sissy bbq sauce yummy. You can also add so sweetest to your meal like some peach cobbler which was very warm served and good if I did say so myself. also the buttermilk pie. My daughter had the Brisket sandwich and she said it was very good. We will be returning. This month they have the pink cups for breast cancer awareness which is pretty dang awesome. Great customer service and great attitude.

Excellent service, great food and their breakfast tacos are delicious. Convenient Tesla Supercharger located in their parking-lot. Their country store makes for great stop to buy bottled beverages or snacks to take on the road. Brisket and smoked sausage here are top notch.

The food is really good. I really like the moist brisket and their jumbo backed potato. The place was clean and welcoming. There was a line up but they really serve the food fast. We did not have to wait long to order. If you like smoked meat, this is the place to go.

Was in town for business and this Rudy’s was close to the hotel. The food was delicious. I had a lean brisket sandwich, with potato salad and a sweet tea. It was amazing, the meat just melts in your mouth with each bite.

Disregard the "Country Store" part of the name. This is a great place to eat. Brisket was amazing and the baby back ribs were great. We were hesitant to try this place, as from the outside it looks Iike a gas station and store. GO EAT HERE! Sooooo good.

4.5 stars after 3500 Google reviews can't be wrong. It is as advertised. The brisket seasoning doesn't require anything else, even the sauce. I've had better slaw, but the BBQ beans made up for it. It would be nice if they'd offer a sampler plate.

We have gone to the Rudy's on the west side of El Paso for many years, even though we live in the Northeast. We even taken out of town family members and they want to come back. Our favorites are the moist brisket, lean brisket or the turkey, whether we bought it in a sandwich or by the pound. Always hot and delicious. Corn on the cob is always sweet and mouthwatering. Although, a couple times we think they left it sit too long and it's a little mushy. Service has always been good even during busy times. Country atmosphere with picnic tables and chairs. TV's for watching sports. One of the great things also is they give a military discount.

The 🥩 meats were amazing! I want to eat more of it. We got some drinks like beer and jarritos in a glass bottle but we didn’t realize they also have fountain drinks which Might have been cheaper. Their food is cooked to perfection, and after you receive your food you can add whatever condiments, and vegetables you’d like. There’s also a gift shop that sells Rudy’s sauces and other things. The atmosphere itself, it was pretty loud as there are other families and kids everywhere. I’d definitely go again.

It was the first time that we were at this Rudy's location, and it did not disappoint in the least. Their sandwiches are ginormous, delicious and I cleaned my plate! Lol They had cherry soda which is tough to find at restaurants, so this was a nice treat and surprise! We needed to fill up our Jeep with gasoline, so this turned into a kill two birds with one stone type situation because they have gas pumps! Filler-up! We must return, and soon. Highly recommended!

Coming from KC, I thought we had the best BBQ.... BUT WOW. This was amazing. I don't know if they were on point today but this was the best BBQ I've ever had. Long story short, make a stop and eat here. The baby back ribs and brisket were perfectly cooked, warm to hot when served, moist, good cuts of meat, good but not overly saturated smokey flavor, and the sauce.... I've found most places have good sauces to cover up the lack of good smokey flavor in their meat OR a good meat but the sauce falls flat OR a sauce that just is too overpowering where you can't taste the smokey meat. Rudys had a perfect combination of BBQ with sauce, which enhanced the BBQ with a hint of savory and spicy but wasn't distracting from the taste of the meat. PERFECT. The turkey was also amazing. Good flavor. Good seasoning. Moist and juicy not dried out. The potato salad was a rich mustard-type potato salad, which is my favorite and what I grew up on. It was also on point. The coleslaw was neither a vinegar or mayonnaise based recipe. It was more of a moist coleslaw? I'm not sure how to describe it. It was fresh and crisp, which I like, but really fell flat on the flavor. I would have really liked to see more vinegar in it (if that was what they were going for, and the type I prefer over a mayo/cream-based slaw) and/or some more seasonings to flavor it up. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The staff gave recs, samples of the meat, and were patient and friendly. The place was exceptionally clean and set up like family, choose your own seat/bench. To me, the overall experience could not have been any better. I go into detail about this as a couple good BBQ places I've been to were too dirty or service was so bad, that despite how good the food was, I'd never go back. Overall, best BBQ and BBQ joint I've been to, and would give it a 9.8-9.9 out of 10. I think coleslaw is a must and flavoring it up a little more would have easily made this a 10/10 for me. Try it for yourself, but I will be back again when I visit next.

Went to Rudy's while in El Paso for work and WOW was I impressed! Some of the best smoked turkey I have ever had! I've been here several times and not once have I had a bad experience, everyone is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean and has a lot of seating. Expensive but it's so good. Don't go here if you are on a budget or you will forever be indebted to your stomach! I gave them a 4 star review because personally I feel like the cost to serving size ratio is a bit out of balance. However, they do always give you bread and condiments, their sauce is seasoned well, and their preach cobbler has always been hot-I mean a hit for us! Hot and a hit! I'm never upset after eating at Ruby's. I would eat here more if it wasn't so expensive.

Their brisket sandwich was excellent, probably one of the best I've had. Baked beans were really good. Mac n cheese was so-so, not horrible but nothing special. I bought two brisket sandwiches and my wife and I felt like we were eating beef jerky sandwiches. This is a perfect example of the GREAT ESCAPE which happens to the moisture in the meat when it is cooked at high temperatures for a short period of time. LOW and SLOW is the secret to moist brisket. I sure do wish there was a Buc-ees in town!

Usually I like the BBQ here but came in late and was sold meat that shouldn't have been sold. I asked for moist and this was the driest brisket I have ever had. basically beef jerky. If you dont have something just say you don't have it rather than a fair and switch.

The food was good but the tall guy that took our order was abrasive and rude. Not sure if he was having a bad day or if he thinks he was being funny treating people like that. So, if I’m going to get BBQ and be treated like that, I’ll take my business elsewhere next time. To be honest, I’m surprised the people in front of us didn’t complain. He was way worse to them. They were getting their items and but older (in their 60s) so they weren’t the quickest at gathering our stuff. He started taking our order and yelling over them. It was uncomfortable ordering behind people still at the register. Everyone (the chop crew, other cashiers, and the manager) was okay with the way he behaved, nobody corrected him or gave him feedback. The story I’m telling myself from that is either Rudy’s is okay customers being treated that way or he is rough on some customers but kind to others. They couple in front wasn’t told anything when they asked for white bread, but when we did—he immediately said we should have chosen wheat since it is better because it’s healthier. My question is why? The manager asked how we were doing once we sat down but I didn’t want to deal with Rudy’s anymore because he is probably okay with the tall guy acting like that—so I just said fine. We won’t be going back. What a terrible experience.

Stengy with their meat. I ordered a two meat sandwich. A tall Mexican guy who was the manager is only allowed to cut the brisket. 3 slices the size of a quarter. Like a lion I moved the sandwich away with my paw and told him to bring out the cow.. 😡😡😡

Food was great , however, my father ordered the brisket sandwich special for the 2 of us , and I thought it would be nice for me to take one to our Driver , and I was told that they would not sale me the 2 sandwich special because I already had ordered it . I have never heard of such , come on rudys we need to do better ,

Weigh what you get. Bought a half pound of brisket. Felt light so weighed it at home and less than a quarter of a pound.

I am fed up with this restaurant! I've ordered from this restaurant twice using the Doordash app and on both occasions I was missing items that I paid for. Tonight I ordered a loaded bake potato with moist brisket, sour cream, butter and cheese. What I received was a big hard potato with minimal sour cream and cheese. I contacted the store to inform them of the mistake and was told that they are closing and I can come back another day. I am a truck driver and have no plans of returning to El Paso any time soon. The last mishap occurred in Arizona with the same result. I've never had a problem with Soulmans BBQ so I will be sticking with them from here on out. I am really disappointed with the staff at this restaurant chain.

Got a quart of the peach cobbler. Started passing it out to everyone and they said it tasted and smelled burned. I was confused until I started finding actual pieces of burnt cobbler, actual black charred burnt pieces. I couldn't find one big chunk to take out, it was burned pieces mixed all throughout. We just threw the quart away, absolutely disgusting. For the very high price we paid for this the quality should be at the very least not burnt! The brisket was dry, and there were other issues too. Never going back now, they've done this kind of thing to us before but this will be the last time we allow them to wrong us. Not recommended, do not go.

If I could go lower than one star I would. I ordered 2 lbs of moist brisket, but received a smashed together mystery mass of God knows what. Avoid this place! EDIT: The manager called me to discuss the problem and offered to swap out the purchase. Gotta say, they stand behind their product.
