Great employees. Nice selection of merchandise.
Not sure where the negative reviews came from for this place - we had the best experience in an adult shop ever. 4 associates went above and beyond to help us out and answer questions and the store and merchandise itself was huge and super clean and well cared for. The exterior may not look like much, but once inside, this store is the best.
Wne the first time ever. Large store with lots of different themes to choose from. 2nd time brought wife and she was a little shy but hey I wanted her to see and experience something new. Why in the hell didn't I come here sooner. Excellent establishment.
De ja vu is probably the most female friendly adult product store. The layout is open and spacious the employees dont hover but invite u to feel free 2 ask if u have questions . They have womens night which is a event with giveaways ...and easter egg hunt which also is a event with giveWays. They used to have pole dance classes up stairs and also shibarri rope class. They arnt dark creepy and dirty feeling like the stereo typical adult store, also no 'theater' inside which keeps the tweekers and creepers away &at the stores that have those! Lol
Jewels was such help! She made our experience a 10/10 and everyone else working was so nice. My friend and I will definitely be back here!
The nice young lady named "Day" (can't remember/spell her full name) was really wonderful and helpful. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us navigate what can be an overwhelming selection of options. This store is great and we will definitely be coming back on a regular basis!
Katlyn was very patient and helpful. She carried me 20 miles on her back after we were caught deep behind enemy lines and i was critically wounded. She also went back to complete the mission alone. God bless her, she deserves the Medal of Honor.
I kind of wanted to also write a review for their old closed location by TriCity, but oh well this location is actually much bigger, much nicer, but sadly also creepier. Coming here at night is sketch with the lack of lighting and the confusing layout of where exactly the front door is. Not to say the it’s not safe, but if you are a woman I would not come here by yourself or at least park as close to the front door as possible. It may look like it’s 2 stories, but it’s really just a huge main floor sectioned off and catered mostly to women. I get it, men don’t want to go to a brick and mortar shop, they prefer to do their thing online for purchases and for other stuff……I’m pretty sure the section of upstairs labelled “employees only” may be more of the “private” kind of restriction versus an establishments policy, but that’s speculation. The staff is super nice and helpful and their prices are pretty reasonable considering they stock a ridiculous amount of items. Anything your looking for that’s not illegal they probably have it. Don’t fool yourself into coming here for “gag” gifts, just own it and you’ll be much better off. I haven’t ordered anything they didn’t carry in store yet, but they will hold items you call ahead for. Military discount people, use it if you have it. Late hours for those unexpected moments where you have to run out and get something. It’s also convenient if your coming from many of the breweries as you head back to the 78, or the Mexican food nearby, or the 24 hour fitness.
Had a wonderful experience yesterday. my partner and i came for the first time in YEARS. it’s still as inviting and clean as i remember. the employees were extremely kind and helpful. particularly Taylor was extremely insightful and kind. she answered our many questions, gave us helpful information about our items, and overall was really friendly. we’ll come back soon! thanks guys!
I made a stop at Deja Vu and purchased a toy. I was on a bit of a budget, but Taylor was especially helpful. She helped me find a few options that were on sale but still held good quality. Not to mention a lot of the stuff she showed me was super cute!! I appreciate that this store allows you to see and feel the items before purchasing! Super reliable and quality stuff! I was really nervous to go inside at first, but from what I could tell, the workers are super friendly and helpful
Awesome experience!!! I was really nervous to come into this store but I am so happy I finally did. Stacie was such a delight! She answered all my crazy questions with a smile and helped me find everything I needed. I will definitely be back because of her. Way to go!

I come to this shop whenever i need to purchase anything. I drive about an hour to and from, not only because of the selection but because of the people. This was the first sex shop I've ever been to and at the time I was very shy and kinda not wanting to speak up, the employee's not only understood my embarrassment but really spent the time to help me feel comfortable and find what I was looking for. Since then I've be going here. But on my last visit I was a little aggregate. A woman, I believe it was Petra or something of the sort. Followed me around the store in the most obvious of ways as if I was going to steal the small bottle of lube I was holding. really? Do you REALLY think I would steal a 4$ bottle of lube. I understand that people do steal and it is easy, but I had spoke to this same woman earlier in the night for help( and to add she was incredible unhelpful) and now she's following and watching me? I've been going here for a long time and I have never been treated like this. She did not help me, she did not make me feel comfortable and it took almost every inch of me to hold myself back from telling her off. I love the store, like I said I drive an hour to and from. I believe its worth it. I give them a 5/5. But to that one employee, 0/5. I don't believe she should be working there. Her job is to make the customer feel comfortable and be helpful. She failed at both of these tasks.

Hello i have gona quite a while to this place for my own use, but mostly puck up orders until, today , that I was accused of "stealing" when I haven't gone in 5 months, and I was on a lyft order and I told the manager where's the proof but she constantly deny me the proof and my friend the other day told me almost the same experience, with his girlfriend a few weeks back, idk if deja vu is trying to make us look back or make us pay more but I was very disappointed and my female client felt offended please ensure this doesn't happen again with other clients!!!
Listen, going into one of these stores is already very vulnerable…especially without your husband, which we usually go together. And to this store in particular! So I worked up the courage to try it alone and bring us home a toy. Just went in get a toy about 20minutes ago. I was asked for an ID. Which is no big deal! I know they do require an age limit to enter and buy. Now, I’m NOWHERE near my teens. I am 30 years old, do not look any younger than 25 MAX. It is my bad, but I realized I had left my id behind as I just worked a 12 hour shift at the hospital. However, It felt horrible to be asked to leave for not having an ID even tho I’m CLEARLY OLD. And to do in front of two others. Bring your ID. Otherwise you’ll leave feeling like an awkward and uncomfortable teen in your 30’s. BETTER YET, go to ROMANTIX in Oceanside! They are super rad there and don’t make you feel like you don’t belong there💖

Been a regular customer, and also go to The Gym right next door. So over being hassled by their hire-a-mall-cop security when I park. Their employees are wildly afraid of the owner so obviously there are bigger problems. Not giving any more money to a business that behaves so negatively towards people before they even enter the store. I encourage you to spend your money somewhere that doesn't have male security aggressively arguing with women (about something as trivial as parking) at night in a poorly lit parking lot. Absurd this is even a thing.
Hate this place. Was very weird to shop here. Was constantly watched, not left alone and they kept taking our belongings to the front after we kept saying no (we wanted to keep our belongings to look over what we wanted and don’t). I wasn’t able to try on clothes because of the leggings policy 😭 You need to have leggings on to try things on?? LOL. I’m so mad I spent 270 dollars here. On top of that they wouldn’t let me and my partner pay in two transactions so I can use my military discount and he can use a coupon. Not worth my business ever again and I hope they close down. Don’t shop here, go on amazon. The stuff is way cheaper on amazon too x
Went in tonight to do some shopping. Usually a good experience, not today. Two sales associates, girls with long down hair standing behind the register, were being so loud, rude, and obnoxious I could hear them across the entire store. Super rude and unprofessional. They were also completely unhelpful. I left without making a purchase
There were a few issues. These where mainly cause by one employee. She has bleached tips and has a nasty attitude. I was looking for a couple of accessories and when I asked for recommendations she was almost offended I even asked. I will not be coming back and have lost respect for this business. They are letting her get away with this rude behavior. Grow up Alyssa.
Went in to browse on Wednesday 11/13 around 7:30 or so. Found an item to purchase. Guy at check out asked if wanted to battery check because sometimes they are defective and they don’t allow returns. I can 100% understand that and appreciate the question of asking to test before I leave to avoid any problems. I asked if I could test it because I preferred he not touch it. He complied. He then recommend I test the charger and hesitantly proceeded to let me test it by plugging into the port behind the counter. I am packaging it up after the test to purchase it and he implores that he packs it up. Fair enough. He then proceeded to touch the toy with his hands which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. To his credit we both sanitized our hands before then. Nonetheless I asked from the beginning that I handle it and I politely did not want him to touch it. I don’t understand why he was so insistent and had to box it up when I clearly communicated I did not want him to touch it? It was 100% possible to box it up nicely without touching the toy, yet he still disappointed. He fully laid his fingers and hands on the head of the item while packing it up which again completely defeated the purpose of me solely being the one testing it…. I understand an accident of barely grazing it. But after going through that whole process, just for him to ruin it all at the end by callously handling my item felt like it was intentional or he really did not listen to me or care.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Deja Vu Love Boutique? More like Déjà Poo, because stepping into this place is like reliving a bad decision over and over again. This store is the seventh circle of hell, except instead of fire and brimstone, you get flickering fluorescent lights, sketchy products, and the overwhelming scent of cheap plastic and broken dreams. Let’s break it down. Customer Service: I’m convinced the employees were either zombies, government test subjects, or summoned straight from a summoning circle of apathy. One guy was playing on his phone the entire time, only looking up to grunt at me like a caveman who just discovered fire. Another employee had the attitude of someone being held hostage, staring at me like I personally ruined their day just by existing. Asking for assistance felt like an act of war, and when I did, the response was a mix of confusion and barely concealed disdain. Product Quality: If you enjoy spending money on overpriced garbage, this is your place. Half the inventory looked like it was recovered from a dumpster behind a failed carnival. The selection was questionable at best, with packaging that looked like it had been through a flood, a fire, and possibly an exorcism. Batteries were leaking acid, materials smelled like a chemical spill, and let’s just say I wouldn’t trust anything from this store near my body unless I had a death wish. Cleanliness: Calling this place filthy would be an insult to filth. The floors were sticky with an unidentified mystery substance that I didn’t dare investigate. The shelves were dusty, the display cases had fingerprints that told a horror story, and I’m pretty sure I saw something scurry behind the counter. I don’t know if it was a rat or an employee’s soul trying to escape, but either way, it wasn’t comforting. Atmosphere: The lighting is straight out of a horror movie, flickering as if the store itself is powered by the ghost of bad business decisions. The music selection was an awkward mix of outdated club beats and eerie silence between tracks, making the whole experience feel like a fever dream. And the smell? A choking blend of cheap rubber, expired perfume, and regret. Overall Experience: This store is an insult to capitalism, a crime against retail, and a reminder that some businesses simply should not exist. If you enjoy being ignored, overcharged, and traumatized all in one visit, then by all means, waste your time and money here. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble and set your money on fire instead—it’ll be a better experience and at least you’ll get some warmth out of it. In the end, a complete and utter disaster. This place should come with a warning label and a hazmat suit. Do yourself a favor and avoid it like an ex who still owes you money.

I went in one day with my boyfriend to check out the store which is quite large and has a wide variety of items from clothes to toys. We were planning on purchasing something for us to use as a couple, mostly because my boyfriend likes things used on him. We looked around and then once we approached the dildo and toy area we were approached by a male employee who apparently wanted to "help" me select something ( asking about size, shape, and purpose - really?)...which frankly I do not want when I am looking at sex toys. I expect a more discrete approach like letting us know we can all for them when/if we want assistance (which I would never do). Then this guy asked what we were looking for in dildos and then went on and on about how much he loved his job because he gets to spend hours helping beautiful women buy dildos and other sex toys. This struck me as very voyeuristic, and I left immediately after that. This is just gross. Not everyone wants to share their sex life, dildo choices, and predilections with a random guy, even a retail salesman. I would let your staff know that a little bit of discretion is not a bad thing. My thought for this store is "creepy guy works here".
