Been here twice and each time I was satisfied. The food is quality and quick. Stand in line, pick your meal from the menu up front and wallah! Food is in its way. Lotsa seating in and outside. The open seating reminds me of an buffet setting. Try the chicken or even the ribs. Man your in for a treat!!
This is another California favorite 😍. We love and miss their lemon chicken wings and bread sticks with mustard. Since moving to Arizona this is one of the eateries we miss. Glad to be able to still visit from time to time

I remember when this place used to be called Pat and Oscar's in Carlsbad. It was a childhood favorite with so many amazing memories going there as a family for every special occasion. They have the best breadsticks in the world. Cannot be beat. And the best chicken wings. When I heard that this restaurant was still around I knew I had to go back just for the breadsticks lol. But now as an adult this place is still so special to me. I order pick up all the time after work. It's not fancy but I come here for the nostalgia.❤️ Love y'all! Customer for life here!
The food was great. This was ordered for a staff holiday. Family meals go a long way and we still had a lot of left overs for our staff to take home!
All of the ones where I live have sadly closed down but this one is still standing and I always visit on my way to LA! This restaurant has always been my favorite since I was a kid. The staff is always beyond nice and the restaurant is super clean! The food is genuinely and surprisingly really good! I have a sensitive stomach and it never has upset me! Highly suggest the lemon pepper chicken wings (I hope they still have those). Genuinely hoping they become a chain again!
I might be living off of nostalgia. But I do love Thier bread sticks and the food is relatively good. Prices are a bit more than I would plan but each individual meal is too much for 1 person. The decor is a bit stale and not updated. But I would go back again.
We got the chicken meal for two and it was soooo good! Chicken was juicy and seasoned well, potatoes were flavorful, pasta cooked perfectly and most importantly breadsticks are out of this world! The staff on top of it all were so friendly. We loved it here even more than expected!
Great service and food is consistently delicious. Wish there were more locations available in Southern California. Please don’t ever close.
My go to for lunch is their half chicken with a Caesar salad. Lemon or BBQ. Oh and I don't even have to tell you about the breadsticks. I love the carrot cake too, but I wish the slice was a little larger! But maybe that's just me.

We drove past and were hungry, I can recommend it, especially the pasta salad was very tasty, the California pizza had too much pesto and not enough avocado for my taste, otherwise it was very pleasant to eat here.
Visited the San Marcos location when we are in the neighborhood. We love their breadsticks and macaroni. The breadsticks are so buttery. The texture is just right. The macaroni is cheesy as the kids like it. We often get the ribs too. The ribs are so tender and can get the meat right off the bone easily. Wished that there is a closer location near Carmel Valley.

Delicious food! Went on a "first date" sort of thing here. Since we ended up talking the entire time, I didnt eat too much. HOWEVER. There was a great amount of food, and it was delicious for the next days lunch AND dinner. Only 4 stars because my "date" has not asked me out again.
Came here due to Pat & Oscar's connection. Ordered wings, a lottle dry, ribs were on point, regular breadsticks delicious, we also ordered Jalapeños cheesy breafsticks and were gone, greenbeans were one of best tasted, cesar salad was great, pace was clean. Came on a Tuesday evening, only one other guests present. Cons: coffee was cold and from the morning. Its a self serving restaurant.
A server brought the order out to my car!! Superb service. (Only trouble: a 'street person' was in my handicapped parking area at the business next door, frightened me.)

I went here for a nostalgia reasons. Didn't realize they still had restaurants open. The food has definitely changed. Portions are smaller flavors a little different, but overall I still liked the ambience. Great value for money if you're bringing your family.
Hefty portions, I got a small Greek Salad with extra chicken. I didn't realize it was going to be like deli meat chicken, so when I saw it, I got a bit worried. However, the salad turned out to be fine and had enough food to keep me full. Then there was also an order of Lasagna and cinnamon breadsticks. The lasagna I was told was good, but the breadsticks gave my friend a pretty bad stomachache.
O's American Kitchen provides a convenient option for those seeking a budget-friendly meal with a large group, offering ample space, easy ordering, and decent prices. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Arriving on a Monday night with a sizable group, parking was a breeze, and we were promptly seated in the spacious dining area. While the layout was open and accommodating, the décor appeared somewhat dated and lacked personality. The customer service at O's American Kitchen was commendable. Despite the size of our group, we were greeted promptly and assisted with our orders. The system of ordering at the counter and having the food brought to our table worked efficiently, and our multiple orders were processed accurately and in a timely manner. As for the food, we opted for the Large family meals as well as a few sandwiches and a personal pizza. While the family meals offered excellent value for feeding a crowd, the quality of the food left something to be desired. While nothing was particularly bad, nothing stood out as exceptional either. The lasagna, pasta, salads, pizzas, wings, and breadsticks were all adequate but lacked that wow factor. The sandwiches, while decent, fell short of expectations. The Chipotle chicken sandwich came with an unexpected addition of BBQ sauce, which may have been a mix-up or a misinterpretation of the menu. The turkey sandwich, while straightforward, was nothing remarkable. Both sandwiches were served with potato wedges, which were a nice touch. Overall, O's American Kitchen is a suitable option for those seeking a reasonably priced meal for a large group. While the quantity of food is ample and the prices are affordable, the quality of the dishes may not satisfy those seeking a more memorable dining experience. I may try for a slightly higher-quality meal over quantity for my next meal.

Food was so so and over-priced (unless you get a family deal in which case it's okay). No option to order gluten free pizza as a meal deal so ended up ordering a small Greek salad as I couldn't stomach eating a medium sized pepperoni pizza that would cost more than $30.. Greek salad was not bad but also nothing special. Spicy Chicken wings weren't that good - texture was soggy - probably the quality of the chicken itself. Taste wasn't great. Ate one piece and was done. The kids were happy with their pasta and bread and the garlic mashed potatoes were declared yummy. Service was good at the counter - appreciated the cashier helping me to decide on what to order. However, when the pasta came it had cheese on it and one of the girls didn't want parmesan cheese on top - this wasn't given as a choice when ordering and we had no idea it would come like that since a lot of places ask or give it on the side. The problem was we got a lecture from the waitress - yes, she asked the kitchen to change it, and they did, but we were told that we could not do this again! Our friends were from out of town, they were a little shocked at the lecture over a small bowl of pasta! Most other places would have had not problems fixing the problem for a kid. Overall, not impressed and won't be returning. I could get a better meal elsewhere for that price. Also, the place is run down and feels depressing, like a diner that's seen better days - large and mostly empty. It could do with a revamp.
I don't like to post bad reviews but when I do is because something really bad happened. This is a great occasion, for q bad review. I went in to eat with my family everything was going good. Until, the food started arriving at the table. We had eaten all of our food and the chicken Alfredo never arrive, so I asked a staff to please put in a container to go, forward to the evening I tried to eat and found a fly inside the pasta. By the way the container was given to me with a lid.

Let’s start by walking in and waiting 15 minutes while the workers walked right by my family of 4 multiple times. Continued to order finally and took an hour and 10 minutes to come out with the wrong order. Then they ran out of chicken? Everyone in lines order was messed up as well. Please Work here they need better staff!
Grotesquely overpriced. Everything ordered from pasta and pizza either tasted rancid or not like anything at all. The entire restaurant during dinner rush was run by only 5 people, and thus, not only did everything take too long, but I never even got my marinara sauce before finishing the meal. The only consistent patrons are trapped here hoping that it will remind them of what it used to be. Could be mismanaged, or the owner is just using good will to make profit while running it into the ground. Only try if you want to lower your expectations of what a restaurant should be.
Hi to whom it may concern I went to O’s American kitchen. On Friday for lunch with my family my wife is 8 months pregnant two weeks away from giving birth. Me and my wife order a chicken sandwich to share when the chicken sandwich came out. I took a bite. It was hard after taking the bite. I realized the chicken was raw. I try to do my best to spit it out and I went and I told the cashier.. Fast for four days later, I’ve been in bed, throwing up with horrible diarrhea and stomach pains I haven’t had much sleep since then the stomach pains were unbearable. I’ve been maintaining with drinking just water for the past four days. I had to miss work yesterday and also today, Tuesday, July 15. And just to mention, this is our first time visiting that location. What a horrible experience. I don’t wish this upon anybody. People stay away from this place. The atmosphere is horrible. It’s only two employees working cashier and a cook. I am fortunate enough that my wife is an NP nurse And she has helped me and give me the proper care I need without going to the ER. I will be contacting the proper authorities for this matter this is unacceptable. And people if you live in North County look up the reviews on yelp they are horrible. I wish I would’ve done my due diligence before hand. Four days of completely pain without sleep, this is torture.
