Tea Amo

Came in less than 10 minutes before close and the staff were great. We didn’t feel rushed, got our two drinks very quickly and were out in just a few minutes. The matcha milk tea and lavender tea were both really impressive. The cups were a nice detail as well. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Tea Amo!

Wonderful place! Delicious tea! Good customer service! I like this place. It has a mostly girly vibe sensation though. I would add a more woody decoration and some couches to make the place more all genders vibe sensation, cozy and welcoming. The selection of music would be even better with a more Caribbean music style. It would be great to play a little bit with the lights making them less bright, it would add a more relaxing touch in the environment. I think it has a lot of potential as a business. Definitely a big plus for San Diego!

Great customer service, the staff were patient and accommodating with me and my vegan modifications. I got an Oreo frappe, which was delicious, and my party's drinks were ready quickly. I noticed plenty of unique drinks on the menu so I'd definitely recommend Tea Amo to regular tea enthusiasts looking for new takes on tasty drinks.

Searched for the best boba in the area and this is my favorite boba/bubble tea place in San Marcos. I tried a lot of the menu and my favorites are the House Fruit Tea and Okinawa Bubble Tea. Their matcha drinks, Galaxy sunrise and blue 27 are good too Try the popcorn chicken!!! It's a bit spicy! Staff is friendly and patient. Owner seems sweet, they used to have a gacha machine which I'd love them to bring back. There's seating inside and usually always an open seat so it's nice to hang out for a bit.

They have great lattes like, LA grade lattes. Atmosphere is nice it feels upscale for its location. They played EDM, dance, and electronic music when I went so if you’re into that then this place is for you. Food is pricey but it tastes so good and it’s well presented. Highly recommend for service as well. This is a great family owned establishment.

Service was very good and the matcha was great. The barista was able to make the matcha in my tumbler mug which i appreciate, some cafes have stupid policies and they want to waste plastic. Anyway, this place is great, will definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Couldn't be happier!!!! So excited to find a great boba place in the neighborhood. I have tried to find good boba for months and I finally have. Quality is awesome and the selection of flavors is great. Loved that my mixed flavors were layered and not over mixed. I got the mango strawberry with regular boba and crystal boba because I wanted to try them both. Yummy!!!! My daughter got the Oreo vanilla with boba and she loved it too. The cups they come in are very high quality and makes the drinks very impressive. I appreciate the details!!! We ordered through yelp and it was ready when we arrived. You bet I'll be back!!! As a small business owner I know the importance of making the customer happy and this first impression made sure I'll be back. Clean, staff wearing masks (it's Covid time) friend staff and great service!!

It's a cute little place with a great variety of drinks and treats! The creme brulee was delicious, and they gave us tiny shovels for spoons 😄 Adorable. I will say it is a bit pricy for the portions. No one thing is too pricey, it just adds up if you get a lot of little things. But the quality was great and the people were very friendly and approachable. Music was soft and easy listening. Atmosphere was pleasant. We will definitely come back!

The potted plant is amazing both because its adorable but also because it is really tasty. The galaxy sunrise and summer breeze are nice fruity flavors. The coffee here is also pretty good although I'm not a coffee drinker myself. The boba, lychee jelly, and rainbow jelly are all really good. Me and my friends loved the house fries—please bring them back! The cajun fries just don't hit the same way those used to.

My kids say they like the taste of the drinks from this location compared to the other boba places around the area. So if you are in the neighborhood and have a craving for a boba definitely try and hit this spot up.

We ordered the jasmine green tea, Blue 27, house tea, and summer breeze. All of them were a hit. We appreciated the quality of tea and the serving sizes were great. We also called last minute to have them prepare the drinks for pick up earlier and they were kind enough to oblige. They were additionally super sweet and sent us a wedding card with some macarons!

The boba is AWESOME. I got wintermelon lychee tea with lychee jelly and boba and I finished the drink in 2 seconds. For sure the best boba I have had in my life. When my sister thought it wasn’t sweet enough the staff brought us a new tea for her for free. We loved it. The popcorn chicken and Cajun fries were so crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. This place is SO cute and delicious! They have beautiful and unique drinks like a Potted Plant Milk Tea. I especially loved that they have tons of nondairy and vegan options.

Very pretty shop. Ordered and then half the order was out of stock after we had paid. Ordered a blended iced taro drink. I didn't know it had boba. I didn't want boba. The boba was hot, so the drink melted quickly. The taste was good but overall the drink was not very satisfying. The staff was friendly but lacked knowledge of the availability of product, and also didn't know what creamer was for coffee.

the coffee here (i got an iced latte) is one of the best i’ve ever had, incredibly flavorful and rich. sadly, everything else (i also tried a rose slushie, planter drink, and shaved ice) is just mediocre 😞

If it is the later I would recommend more people to try this place so they can finish remodeling, if the former, I encourage this place to find a new decorator.

Honestly an ok place to chill I guess, lots of drinks on there most in combination of flavors. Ordered tea with aloe jelly and several flavors cant remember name but honestly tasted like how shampoo smells like Their toffee mocha crumble aint worth it they were like ya boba goes best with you dont need to add anything else no boba doesn't go with it boba wasn't cooked all the way so it more on the dry side than chewy boba you can squish under ur teeth and the drinn was sickeningly sweet ratio of sugar and coffee, i couldn't put it down. Honestly dont go there on a hot day the free water they have to rhe side would seem much better than any combination of their drink Lil note they got $9.99 stuffed animal boba cups where you can pour your drink on top and theres a stuffed animal on the botton in a attached compartment. Also apparently no, they don't have Hello Kitty Tiramisu which was disappointing, but they have regular tiramisu, cheesecake slice waffles, wings and cajun fries also disappointed I didn't try those since I was short on money.

We ordered the Thai tea, matcha sea salt, and mango smoothie, and sadly all of them just tasted like creamer. Came here on a friend's rec, but disappointed. The mango smoothie wasn't really a smoothie; instead of blended fruit, it was kinda watery mango-flavored creamer. Three stars for the quick service, and because the boba and lychee jelly were perfectly textured!

This place has fun drinks and a good environment. Glad a got a chance to come her. It was decent but I would not say it is a must check out. Potted plant was good but not great.

Mediocre bubble tea. Boba wasn't fresh, drink was too sweet. So much for trying local. Go down to San Diego for more options.

Eh... Tastes like the coffee we had on our cruise ship. Workers were really nice. Most likely will not be back, there are so many amazing coffee options around.

So bad coffee. I can't even say that it's coffee. I drove here for a cappuccino because in the pictures it looks very good but I got a sweet drink with chocolate instead and they called it "cappuccino". The cheesecake was not bad.

I requested drinks without milk products, and despite over 40 previous correct orders, the new staff dishonestly included cream or milk. Even when confronted, the staff denied it, but I could tell from the color. After being a loyal customer for a long time, I won't be returning due to the dishonesty and potential harm to my health work time.of The employee was 3/8/2024 1:00pm the both tried to gas light me instead of making the correct drink..

Vibe check needed here...Rude gals working, strong chemical smells that burn your eyes and no napkins or paper towels for guests. Boba was bomb though 👏🏼
