Today I visited Rock & Brews in El Segundo and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff. The beer selection was fantastic, with a wide range of craft beers and classic favorites. The Beet Salad & Strawberry Fields Salads were fresh and the ingredients were expertly combined to create delicious and flavorful dishes. The atmosphere of Rock & Brews is always a standout. I highly recommend it anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere. With five-star service, top-notch beer, delicious food, great music, and TVs for additional entertainment, it's the perfect spot for a night out or a quick lunch. I can't wait to visit again soon!

First time here we are on vacation from Az and this place popped in our search close to our hotel! As we are getting close this place pops out and you cant miss it. Great atmosphere though it was getting dark it was getting cold, this place is like open plan!! There are walls just not fully enclosed. Great music and decor! Food was delicious definitely a great spot!! We had couple pizza the bread tasted so good!, also tacos they tasted great, strawberry salad with steak which was my favorite, Alice Cooper burger.!

Came here for some appetizers around dinner time. Got three different apps and they filled us up (table of 4). Super delicious. The egg roll app was so good 🤤. Nachos were average. Nothing special. Pretzel was good. Nothing special but it was good food regardless. Just nothing that will blow your mind for flavors lol! I love how it’s all outside. Super cute! Lots of seating, vibe is great, fun. 🤘🎸🎵 there’s basically no parking though. The lot fits like ten cars. You’ll probably have to park a ways away and walk. But overall, love the place!

A Samgo

Visited on a busy weekend. Parking was lucky but otherwise would be hard to find. Took a while for our order to be taken. A second server stepped in and took our order completely wrong. Manager came out and helped correct it. Everything was good and the concept was fun, loud music, everyone seemed to have a good time. Clean bathroom and nice area in El Segundo. Its technically inside but feels like an outdoor restaurant because of the open walls.

This is a rock and roll and sports bar with a large menu for both drinks and food. We have only had either drinks or drinks and appetizers there but the appetizers are delicious. It was leg day for me so I really wanted carbs a few hours after dinner. We had cocktails, huge warm freshly baked soft pretzel with amazing dipping sauces and really delicious jalapeno poppers that were actual whole jalapeños breaded and fried, not the fake kind a lot of places make. It really hit the spot while watching the UCLA game on their huge tvs. Friendly, quick service as well and they were pretty busy on a Saturday night while there. And of course lots of dogs everywhere. Fun place!

I have been to several R&B locations, all entertaining with satisfying "bar faire" and brews. All dog friendly!!! Woof!!! Even complimentary dog bites...that's food, not teeth!!! Good selection of beers, etc. Well prepared meals. Visit started out poorly...after being seated, I waited for 15 minutes before even being acknowledged...believe me, that's no exaggeration. A male and a female manager even passed me by without attention of any kind. Ultimately, my server finally got to me. It turned out she was stuck dealing with a large party of 18 yr old girls celebrating a birthday. I don't fault her, but the two management persons need to be more focused on customer awareness and service. Simple acknowledgment would have been sufficient. The remainder of the visit was excellent. Once Emily got to me, everything was excellent!!! Delicious burger, hot crispy fries, and two cold refreshing El Segundo Brewery beers. Oh, and a bowl of water and a small bowl of bacon for my Border Collie. As a seventies "Rock n Roller" the music and general atmosphere is very appropriate and appealing...to me. In today's world and economy, the prices were reasonable.

We recently visited Rock & Brews and really loved the atmosphere. The rock and roll theme is super fun and energetic, and it feels like a great spot for families. They also had a really cute kids menu, which I appreciated. Honestly, everything on the menu looked amazing, and we had a hard time deciding because so many items sounded great. We ended up ordering the garlic Parmesan fries, pizza, and the French dip. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to how good it sounded. The garlic Parmesan fries and French dip both really lacked flavor, which was disappointing. The pizza was okay — not bad, but nothing standout. Overall, it’s a cool place with a fun vibe and lots of potential, but we were hoping for a little more flavor from the food. I’d maybe give it another try for the atmosphere alone.

Location and atmosphere was great. Very nice waitress and accommodating staff.. I think I set my sites too high as to how I thought my eating experience would be as it’s sports bar food. I ordered 2 different types of draft beer and both were flat. Take it from me….. clean out your tap lines on a frequent basis. I ordered the baby back ribs and they were very dry. Obviously frozen and reheated. My guest ate the grilled salmon and it was….sports bar salmon. We ordered the “wild caught calamari and it was “wild caught breading”. But, the place was full so my review probably doesn’t carry much weight.

The food was average while service and atmosphere were great. We ordered the blackened chicken pasta and ceasar salad grilled chicken wrap. The pasta was good but the wrap wasn’t. The wrap has very little amount of chicken-pictures attached. We discussed it with the server and they addressed it by providing a side of grilled chicken. Good overall experience but I’d suggest that you don’t order the wrap.

I want to start by saying I am an El Segundo resident of 15 years and an on and off contractor at Chevron Refinery.. I started coming to Rock and Brews back in 2012 and even have a photo with Gene Simmons back in 2013 ( shown below ).. This is mine and my buddies spot for Monday and Thursday night football.. over the years when the guys wanted to grab a beer I would always suggest Rock and Brews.. Tonight there were 2 Monday night games and we made a reservation a week early for 4 PM game to grab some food and drinks.. The place was mostly empty when we arrived and I requested our regular seat to watch the first half.. We were told a big group reserved the tables and benches.. I said we had a reservation and we’re only staying for the first half.. She said no and seated us against the wall with an obstructed view .. These seats along the wall are horrible because the flies from Main Street attack the food on warm days.. Then I saw what was happening.. The TV news was there to cover the Chargers game at 7 PM and a Charger Booster club was coming in to watch the game. We finished our meal and the booth we requested was still empty along with 4 others (photo below). When leaving I approached the manager and told her that I was very disappointed about the Booth we were given and that is no way to treat a local resident who has spent upwards of 5-7 thousand dollars over the 14 years I’ve been coming here and I won’t be coming back and when Chevron Contractors from out of state .. And there are many of them with pockets full of money..ask the local (me) where to grab a beer after work , I will recommend The Standard Station .She pointed her finger at me and said we will get along fine without you and your buddies, will still get plenty of business from Chevron.. I am very disappointed with her response.. I would expect better from the restaurant manager.. But that is the kind of immaturity we see now days from the generation of 20-30 year olds We have an update.. We received a telephone call from Rock and Brews management team.. I’m guessing they got our telephone number from our reservation..They doubled down. after reading this review.. Instead of apologizing to us about the callous behavior of their manager, the Management Team recommended we don’t come back to the establishment. Apparently the shift manager fabricated and embellished the events of the night to make it seem we were somehow in the wrong .. The entire conversation the woman spoke down to me like I was her 5 year old child.. I am 58..!!From this point forward I will be taking the fellows to the Standard Station for Sunday Monday and Thursday night football. Thanks for reading my review and hope your experience is better than mine. .and to all the ES locals who know me.. You know the truth.
