Fantastic Cafe

I’m looking forward to my kid’s meal. My boyfriend and I walked here from the Purple Orchid bar about five minutes away. He was hungry for hotdogs but the restaurant next door, a bbq place seemed very good as well. I was happy to be able to order the kid’s meal as I am not very hungry and the choices there are some of my favorites. Not only was he willing to allow us to order the kids meal, he did didn’t seem judgy about me either. I’m wearing a bathing suit today, so I imagine I’m probably not making the best impression today, and I am grateful for kindness from anyone at my age.

Haven't failed me yet. Food breakfast nor lunch. I usually call ahead and come pick up, but sometimes I'll sit in for lunch. Casual diner with good quality diner food. This is one of those spots that does it well though. Not many places maintain their systems of quality checks when running establishments like this, but this one definitely does. Spicy chicken sandwich, carne asada anything (the meat has a certain smokey/grilled flavor that I love), the steak and eggs was a hit 2 mornings in a row (with their consistency in sure it's all the time), burgers, chili cheese fries, are all pretty decent.

Chill little breakfast spot right in El Segundo close to the airport. I stayed in LA for one night, so I got breakfast with a customer before we left for our convention in Palm Springs, CA. We ordered a couple of breakfast burritos.a French toast between all of us. I.wojld.go back for sure.

Best Chili Cheese Fries (e-z onions) in El Segundo. They use those frozen old school 90s semi thick steak fries. Not too thin. Not too soggy. Perfectly crispy. This would be an ultimate chili fry place late night if they were open that late.... And I really haven't had anything else there for quite awhile. Takes me back to HS Nostalgia eating there lol. This dish is one of the only few dishes in my life that hasn't really changed much since the 90s. Still the king of chili cheese fries.

Great for a fast early morning breakfast. Really enjoyed both the classic breakfast burrito and the LAX burrito. Diner coffee was to be expected, weak but free refills. Friendly staff too :)

If you need food that's cheap and you have and you want large quantity oh, go to this place. The breakfast burrito was huge, my girl got eggs bacon hash browns and toast. She was expecting to get a small plate. But she got three eggs, four bacon, and a huge amount of hash browns.

Arguably the best breakfast burritos in the South Bay, definitely one of my favorites, especially for the price and size of these bad boys. I got the LAX burrito today I think it’s around $9 and has steak/beef, eggs, bell peppers, green onions, spinach, cheese. The regular bb is awesome and has hash browns plus bacon, sausage AND ham, eggs, cheese. Grab an extra salsa. So good! Usually takes around 10 minutes to make. Bring cash for tip.

We visited this place just to check it out as they're opening a location on PCH and have never been before even though we frequent Slice'n'Pint down the street. We had a patty melt, fries, onion rings & a tuna melt. After being charged, I went to leave a tip and the cashier said something I couldn't catch. Then I realize she was saying there were two separate tip jars: one for service and one for the cook. Thought it was a bit odd but sure, so, I split tip into both. My wife didn't like her tuna melt, as it apparently was missing the melt part. My patty melt was decent: nothing to write home about. Between the fries and the onion rings, I think fries were the better choice. The onions rings needed more seasoning. It's a decent counter burger but nothing that stands out. Just feels like one of those places where you can grab food- nothing to really excite you about coming back. The staff is very friendly and I can see how this is a solid joint for a neighborhood.

They staff seem to have gone rouge. Old staff is kewl & polite but new hires seems to be touchy & rude w/ attitude. Please don't be rude to my son for he's a minor & very respectful. I know me & his Mom raised that way. Plus he was 3 yrs. old on his 1st visit!! Please do BETTER & LEAVES ATTITUDE AT HOME.
