NabiQ at Emeryville Public Market offers Korean BBQ and bento boxes. Many praise the generous portions and friendly staff, especially the grilled chicken sample. However, some find the food overly salty, of inconsistent quality, and overpriced.

I recently visited Emeryville for a business trip and brought my family along. Our accommodation was close to the Emeryville Public Market, so we ended up trying a bunch of different places there. The food hall has a great variety of options—the burger place was excellent, and so was the sushi spot. But Nabi Q Korean BBQ was definitely the highlight for me! As a Korean, it tasted just like home, and even my 5-year-old loved it. We really appreciated that they had both low, round tables for families with kids and high standing tables, so everyone could find a comfortable spot to eat. While all the food was good, Nabi Q was my favorite. I've attached a photo of the delicious meal we had there. If you're looking for a casual place with lots of great food options that cater to families, I highly recommend checking out the Public Market food hall!
I've never ordered from NabiQ, but I'm glad that i did. I was expecting something "ok", but what i received was delicious. I ordered a Salmon Bento Box 🍱 and the Salmon was HUGE! Skin golden and slightly crispy, the inside not dry or over done - it was perfect. Staff are quite friendly, they all made eye contact with me and smiled. I appreciate the human connection. I'll be back for sure. The food hall here in Emeryville is great. I wish the seating was a little more comfortable, but overall an inviting place to gather.
I’m very much enjoying this tofu bento box. A lot of rice, lot of tofu, yummy noodles very nice portion size compared to some of the other restaurants here. Thank you very much for the tofu platter.
Get the salmon dinner! Omg everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection like way better than any seafood restaurant or any restaurant! And the salmon is large, veggies are yummy glass noodles are yummy and rice cooked perfectly! I’ll be back everytime I go to the bay and need a healthy hearty meal! Only $20!

I was here for a business trip. Went into the Market having no idea what restaurants were there. Very happy to have found Nabi. The chicken bento box was amazing. Juice meat, great pot stickers. Kimchee was delicious.
We visited this spot inside the Emeryville Public Market for the first time, and while my husband and I were looking over the menu, the staff warmly offered us a sample of their grilled chicken. It was so good that we ordered it right away. Delicious food and genuinely friendly service!
My coworkers and I frequent the hall at least once a month. It’s been awhile since we’ve been to back and we noticed something new. I’m all about trying something new. I ordered the lunch box and was surprised to see the amount of food for the price. All the food came out warm. I liked the veggies the were very fresh tasting. The chicken was also a great a bit on the sweeter side. The food also came out pretty quick considering that there was a line starting. I’m definitely going to return. Happy eats.

This is our go-to place for Korean BBQ at the Public Market. It has the right ratio of value to tasty food. I wish Google would let me give half-stars because I would give it 3.5 for the food itself. The only reason it's not higher, frankly, is because I ordered the spicy BBQ chicken platter, and it was inedible. Like someone else described here, it was drowned in a tomato and sriracha spicy sauce that ruined the flavor. We'll stick to the regular chicken or pork BBQ. Also, the folks who run the place are always pleasant to me and my kids, and I appreciate that very much.

Okay. Beef in the bulgogi was low quality even for bulgogi. It had so much sinew I could never eat half a slice and many pieces had grizzle. Sauce just okay.
I went here for lunch with my sister because she thought it was gonna be good like the public market in San Francisco, but our surprise It was not. We had two bento boxes, one spicy chicken and one short rib and chicken. The food was room temperature and not freshly prepared. The kimchi was old. I cannot say that it was nasty, but I also cannot say it was very good. The biggest problem was it was not hot. We were very disappointed. The service was just ok as well. I will NOT be back. Oh and we have the bubbles too. Not ok.

Hubby and I were attending the opening of the Emeryville Art Exhibition and popped over to the Public Market for a bite to eat. I was hungry but nothing really grabbed me, so after circling twice I ended up at NabiQ and ordered the bibimbap with spicy pork and egg on top while he went to a different food stall. It was a generous portion, enough for two. The food looked appealing but the meat was too sweet for my taste even after mixing the whole thing together. It came with a small cup of kimchi and gochujang sauce. I picked at it the food but left quite a bit uneaten, didn't want to take it home. Price was over $22, including tip. The person who took my order was friendly and polite. Food came fairly quickly. The kitchen area was clean and tidy, no complaints there.

Worst food you can ever eat. Never ever come here to eat just horrible there is nothing to eat in this food
Bad quality food and for this price I would find a regular Korean BBQ place instead of eating from the plastics. Also when I asked for more kimchi, she was asking me to pay .50 for extra kimchi while she forced a 15% on the sale price for the tips. Basically you are here to pay restaurant price and getting horrible experience.
This is the Basil Chicken. Don’t try!!!! Disappointing to say the least!! The only thing good is the spicy BBQ chicken, should have stuck with that!

Overcooked my chicken til it was hard. Veggies were not fully steamed basically raw and went to speak to them respectfully and kindly about the food and looked at me like I was crazy and brushed me off I didn't even ask for a refund or remake just simply notified them about the quality and treated me like a crazy guy.
Disappointed! I ordered the spicy chicken bento box. You really can't ruin rice and vegetables, but the potstickers were dry, and possibly day(s) old. The main protein, the spicy chicken. was smothered in a combo of tomato sauce and Sriracha. It was not tasty and had enough after a couple bites. Will not be returning.
We got a bimbimbap with spicy pork. And potstickers for our kid. Just that was $27!! The pork was dry, leathery, too sweet and overly sauced. The potstickers were deep fried instead of pan fried. When we went back immediately to ask why they didn't mention potstickers as deep fried, they said they it was our mistake to have not checked the food before leaving the store. We literally walked to our table and back a minute later. I'm yet to meet a person who checks every single dish before they leave a restaurant. It was a simple issue they could have remedied, but they don't seem to care enough to make their customers happy.
I went there last minute because I was very hungry and they were closing the chicken was absolutely disgusting it looked like dog food very bad presentation dry chicken I couldn't eat it I could not even swallow it when I want it to come to complain it was too late there were already closed I want to get in touch with a manager to have a refund for my money back I paid $20 for nothing like money in the trash I could not eat not even one piece of chicken I had to leave everything
Possibly the worst "Korean" food I've ever had. Way overpriced and food that ranges from bland to just plain bad. There has been a huge decline in quality from this place after it switched management a few years back. There is no justification for the price, small portions of everything but the mediocre rice, everything else is poorly seasoned and overcooked. The staff are delightful and quick, but the management is cheap and greedy. Astonished that the place is still open.

My friend and I ordered 2 BBQ chicken plates with extra noodles (for an extra $3 each). When we got home, we realized that we were not given the right plates (no extra noodles). When I called to see if I could get the price adjusted, they first said that they did include extra noodles, which was false, and then proceeded to tell me that the only way to get the price adjusted would be to drive all the way back to emeryville so they could see the plate. I asked to talk to the manager, but was informed that they wouldn't be in until 8PM, two hours after closing. Still have yet to hear back from them -- was told they would pass my information on when the manager was in, at 8... Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. I used to like coming here, but after this I don't think I'll be back.
I’ve been here a couple of times and I went back (breaking my own rule) it’s the closest kbbq and everything I’ve tried is like overly salty/sauced without any real flavor, the japchae just tastes like pepper and the veggies are overly steamed. Also the rice was mushy and greasy and I can’t tell you how disappointing it is for a restaurant to even make their rice poorly. The staff is friendly and getting your food is quick. But when the food is really bad and really expensive it isn’t worth it.
