Recvd an order via doordash that was not totally up to par. A friend told me to make it known. Upon contacting the manager a few days later, he has now made the entire order good. I am more than pleased with the quality of the food and the customer service that I recieved. Will definately continue to patronize this establishment.

The classic lemon pepper were cooked through and through all around PRICE: Same as other franchises. ( City tax varies) $$ CUSTOMER SERVICE: Not only did the gentleman at the cashier knew how to speak and understand Spanish; He commanded his post with amazing character. He stayed Cool,Calm and collected all the mean while handling phonecalls, taking care of the dashers, Communicating with the cooks. Not once did he raise his voice or tripped over his words. He took care of everyone like a conductor at a symphony. This is the kind of service I'll tip for gladly. It was CS above and beyond. Phone ahead makes it easy. They have a multitude of tasty sauces to choose from. If you order wings and fries or wings and veggies, it comes with a drink. There is no price reduction if you elect not to get a drink. Wait is about 20-25 min if you don't phone in your order.
They've got a nice selection of different flavors of wings I just wish they wouldn't cook it as hard that takes all the juice out of it I know you have to be careful when cooking chicken but if I could just get my chicken a little bit more tender than crunchy this would be a five star joint.

Delicious wings. Nice assortment of flavor combinations. I usually walk in, order, then wait in the car 16 to 21 minutes. This time I ordered on-line, they gave me a time to be there of about 16 to 21 minutes. When I got there I walked in, paid for my order, which was ready and walked out. That's the way I'm doing it from now on. Everyone says my wings recipe is as good as Wingstop, but it's a pain and messy. That's why I go to, and recommend, good stuff for the late night munchies. They're open until midnight!

I love the staff here, but I just can't understand why Wingstop hasn't improved their process a year into COVID. Everyone has to crowd around the door outside the restaurant to keep checking if their order is ready. How hard or expensive would it be to have a speaker outside and call names as the orders come up? It would be safer and you'd actually get get hot french fries once in a while rather than fries that have been sitting in a bag on the counter for 5-10 minutes. However, the front room staff is very friendly, always gets my order correct, and seem very nice.
2 complaints, otherwise 5 stars. Please read the orders. Less salt means less salt. Most of the dry seasonings are 90% salt and the cooking team is VERY heavy handed. This location should probably be take out only after dark. The area gets a little rough at night.
The people who work at Wingstop do a great job. However navigating placing an order and picking up your food needs a lot of work. You may find yourself waiting on long lines simply because the people are taking in person orders also have to navigate online, phone and delivery app pickups. Paying is a process, you'll have to either hand over your cash or card and let them ring you up at the register which you hope is free otherwise you wait. With so much technology out there, its a shame you cant just tap your phone, card or order and pay online and pickup. Place an order but dont be in a rush.
Solid Wingstop with a few issues. Saucing on the wings was quite skimpy on the mild wings. Also, the massive homeless camp outside was disconcerting. Outside of that, good spice on the wings, solid fries/sauces, and a freestyle machine. Clean up the exterior and sauce those wings like they deserve and it'll be a 5-star in no time.
Starting to lose my faith in Wingstop. Continuously, they don't follow order directions, they are slow with getting your order finished and they don't regularly check the soda dispenser for syrup. I always ask for well done fries and wings, because if I don't, the order comes all soggy. If not for convenience in location, I'd probably visit some other establishment. They get 3 stars because I do enjoy the wing flavors they have and, in Oakland, they have locations that are convenient for me and where I might be. Will I go back? Most likely, but I won't be excited about it. The new limited addition flavors are not exciting.

I've ordered flats before only. Cashier says they don't do that anymore. Yet they gentlemen who came in after me ordered flats only, in spanish and the gentlemen behind me told me.
They never pick up the phone when you're trying place a phone order I was literally on hold while I was driving there just to get there to see them with one customer I spent majority of my lunch break waiting on food that I was on hold for 15mins on the phone for smh
I went there the day of super bowl. I had placed the order day before online. When I got there at the allotted pickuptime, our wings were not ready plus the cashier was rude to us. We had to wait another 15 minutes for our order. They had no napkins, ketchup to go with our order. The kitchen area floor looked highly unsanitary.

I called this location from 3 different phones at one time, I was on hold for 45 minutes. I decided to drive up to the location. A female employee asks me if I have an online order I proceed to tell her I just called and was on hold for 45 minutes her response “ohh our phones down” I then look at the register and there’s a note on a receipt that says no walk in orders after 10pm, I entered the store at 10:15pm. I’m thinking that I’d get some great customer service and they’ll let me make my order but the lady tells me that they won’t allow it and I can only order online. I don’t understand how this location is still open or why they have new management to still be a terrible place of business.
We just received our order through Door Dash 6/22/22. It was terrible! Ordered the boneless lemon pepper wings. Never had boneless wings before thought we'll give them a try. The wings were cooked to long, and hard as a rock. Next, they were too salty. I will never order from here again.
The guy who took my phone order must have been stoned out of his mind. It took many, many, many reiterations to get my NAME across, let alone my order. I told him my name was Zoey, Z as in Zebra, I spelled it out, I said it many times... What did he write on the bag? .... ..... "beoy". How????? Horrendous phone call experience, I felt like I was actively losing braincells. He was totally unprofessional. Sounded so confused. Don't come to work high, fellas. And then to top it all off, when I got there, there was a little kid having a sneezing fit.. I'm concerned when it comes to health and sickness, so I looked over at the kid who was sneezing. His mom didn't like me looking at him, so she verbally harassed me while the debit card reader crashed mid-transaction. Horrible!!!! Worst wingstop experience I've ever had. Will never return to this part of town if I can help it, if this is what is there for me.
Would prefer to give ZERO STARS but can’t. Due to a long day, we opted to order the food via DoorDash. The order was delivered within the window of time promised. HOWEVER, when the food arrived, the entire bottom of the bag was full of oil. All I ordered was 20 piece wings. 15 mild and 5 Hawaiian, on the bone. They placed the 5 pieces of the wings in Hawaiian sauce on the bottom of the to go box, placed plastic wrap over the 5 wings, THEN proceeded to put the 15 wings in mild sauce on top of the plastic. I paid an additional $3.49 for blue cheese, and didn’t even get it. The sauces for all the chicken seemed to be oil based. Order was inedible. Go somewhere else to eat. Don’t even bother with this place.
Where to being with this place - Let's start with the store itself It is very cramped, barely 10 people can fit in the lobby, and it is usually packed because there is a skate park near by and you have kids that come in and loiter and take up tables when they arent ordering anything The staff - obviously they are younger teens or younger adults but they have zero pride, and look like they do not want to be there. If you call in you are on hold for 10+ minutes, if you order online, the time is never accurate. I took about 20-30 mins waiting at my home because I knew this and showed up and still waited another 20 minutes in store to get my food. Another customer had done the same thing and received his order about 5 minutes after mine. The food - its mediocre at best, yes it's wingstop but at least make sure the food is fresh for the customer when you get it. Usually the fries taste like theyve been sitting around for a while and the wings will be lukewarm at best. The soda machine - it almost never has any of the selections. And you have to wait in line to even try to get anything. My last visit (2/16/2019) they were legitmately out of any soda, there was about 5 customers including myself that were waiting for them to refill the machine with the syrup. The staff member had to be constantly asked by the cashier to do something about. She came out and it was very clear she did not want to refill the machine. It took over 10 minutes and another staff member to bring her out syrups. Not only that but she had NO idea how to operate the machine. Customers at this point are getting more and more angry and telling her just put the coke and sprites in we want to go our food is getting cold. At this point I left, I put my cup down and left, I didnt want to spend another minute in that store. Overall that will be my last visit to the Emeryville store. This is not the first occasion I've been there but this was by far the straw that broke the camels back. Anyone living off of San Pablo or Emeryville, Avoid this place at all costs. Its not worth your time and money and I hope they go out of business.
Terrible damn service with KIDS that's their right now. No manager, the manager wasn't near and they wanted to let them redo my order over. they'll give your food to someone else. They tried to come up with excuses why they wouldn't give back my money at first until I told them I would wait for their manager . Then they were quick to refund it back. these kids were not taught manners nor customer service but were almost to get cussed out!
Worst place to order if you order online. You place your order and it doesn't let you pay online you have to pay at the restaurant. Once you get there there's always a line of people ordering. By the time you get in front your food is super cold. You can't skip the line and go to the front the only way to get your food hot if you order online is to be in line atleast 15imutes prior to the eta of.yihr food being ready. Happened to me 3 times already. Never ordering from here again. Go to the one on Lakeshore instead.
I had a fraud charge on my account several states away. I contacted corporate and the store to resolve the issue. The “supervisor” named TJ who was working at 8 pm cst continued to hang up on me instead of placing me on hold, had a horrible attitude, refused to take my calls regarding my fraud charge, and was not someone I’d expect as a “supervisor”
Honestly I'm dissapointed that I can't submit 0 stars. I ordered two flavors, 15 wings, a simple order right? I received two wings for the second flavor despite the cashier telling me they'd be split 8 wings one flavor 7 wings the other. The cashier was more concerned with getting off work, seeing as they ran out after my order and waltzed back in to use the restroom all on chalantly, that they completely butchered my order, and failed to let me know that I wasn't recieving any of the sides despite me saying that I only didn't want a drink. They say, "I told you it was only wings" but the reality is that they were talking to fast and worried about getting off that I missed it and yet another customer complained about their hastiness. So, although upset, I ignored their blunder, and waited for my order. Did I mention that I payed for a second order for a friend, received my messed up order, that I haven't checked because they have me my order so quick I assumed that it would be okay, and ended up waiting for 20+ minutes for the other order. Food cools down quickly, it cools down even quicker when the order comes in an opened container, that I was pleasantly surprised to find after I'd driven back home. Then when I go to get my money back, the manager says that it was my fault for holding the bag wrong. I've never received such terrible customer service, that I had to write about it. --------------------------------TLDR---------------------------------- The wings really don't even look good. Save your money. Save your time. And go somewhere else. 0 Stars for the record.
I mean, it's a Wingstop. I spent $20 on the cheapest meal. After paying, the cashier tells me it'll be 20 minutes. I ended up leaving with $20 fries because I had somewhere to be and didn't expect to spend 20 minutes waiting for "fast food"
Horrible customer service. If I could give a zest I would. Ordered online, as part of my 30 wing order I ordered fries and veg I sticks, an 4 ranch dressings and 2 blue cheese dips. When I went to pick it up, no vehicles sticks and only 2 ranch and one blue. The manager showed me how the on-line order recipe and asked me for a order confirmation which I never received. No vehicle sticks in the order and not the requested number of sauces. She said THERES NOTHING I CAN DO. Made me go out to my car to bring back the bag to confirm everything was there. VEGI STICKS NOT THERE. She said oh we did get it the order wrong and put VEGI STICKS in the bag. At this point I’m made because the Oder was wrong and when I asked here to “make it right by adding in the sauce” bushes said that’s gong to be an extra charge. That’s when I got mad. Such bad customer service. Got my order wrong and wanted to charge me extra for 2 ranch and 1 blue chews. TERRIBLE. Won’t be going back
The wings here are way too salty! It tasted like I bit into a spoonful of salt! I've been to other locations and they were good not like the lemon pepper & mild wings I got here, the potato salad tasted fishy for some reason! So gross.
RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I went there and asked for 2 biscuits and a soft drink. They gave me a cup but made me wait until all the orders were out and stood there in the kitchen stacking supplies and laughing about personal business while I waited for the biscuits. I said can't you throw two biscuits in a bag and give them to me? The male Hispanic (was doing the cooking while I waited) came up to the counter and said very rudely "that's what I was doing."
The food can vary between great and ok. However, the service is beyond slow. I don't believe it's the employees but rather the strange phone ordering policy. It seems call in orders are only made when you pay in person and not started when you order on the phone. If it's busy that means you have to wait in line for a long time, pay and then wait for everyone ordered after you to get their food first before they make your order. It's literally the worst service delivery system I have seen as calling in useless when they say 15 minutes it becomes an hour or more at times and wastes everyone's time. In case the policy is in place because call in orders were not picking up, it's best to cancel phone in orders as a service as the experience is awful as a customer. You go from FIFO to LIFO wth! Beware when ordering on the phone.
Ordered through door dash. Everything was over cooked. The fries and my Louisiana rub wings had way too much seasoning. Couldn’t even eat the fries. I ordered 2 ranch and was given 2 blue cheese instead. Will not be ordering from this location again as it appears others have had the same experience.

I was told my order would be ready in 25 minutes, but when I got there I was told several times to come back 5 to 10 minutes 3 to 4 times. To make a long story short I didn't get my order until an hour later after I arrived. So for this I give 1 star
I ordered a 15 piece wing and noticed one of the wings was covered in a cluster of deep fried feathers. I called the store no answer. Submitted a formal complaint on the website no response. I am still awaiting a refund. 28.99 for a mouth full of feathers?! Never again

So I look in my bag I got my 20 wings and this tiny single container of ranch. Wait a minute, shouldn’t I have at least FOUR of these tiny containers for 20 pieces of chicken? I go back in an ask where is the rest of the ranch that I was forced to buy? I was told you only get that one tiny container for all that chicken. It’s a shame how STINGY these restaurants are when it comes to providing you with the proper amount of condiments for your purchase. I won’t go back simply because of them not doing me right. When I patronize I have a level of expectation that needs to be met when I spend my money. I have bought 10pc wingstop combos and it comes with more FREE dip that what I had to pay for.

When my sister walked into the restaurant no one was at the front to greet her. Then a young lady came from the back. When she attempted to place an order with the lady she began speaking Spanish to a young man sitting in the corner eating. After they finished conversing, the young tells my sister that he is on his break and if she wanted to place an order she needs to do it online. Rather than placing the order online we chose to leave. If I could have given 0-stars i would have because I didn't get a chance to taste the food and clearly received no service. As once working in food service I understand the need to take your breaks but business should not stop because you have no relief.
Literally do not come here. The service sucks and is super inefficient. I ordered take out and the service was still bad. They told me it would be 20 minutes for pickup after I called and I ended up waiting another 50 minutes after the original 20 they had told me it would be. Not to mention I ordered over the phone and they didn’t submit my order until I got to the restaurant AFTER they ignored me standing at the register for like 15 minutes.
Ordered online to skip the line, got there 3 minutes after the app said it was done. Showed them the name they said they didn’t have it then continued to ignore me for 30 minutes while all 3 of them stood in the back tossing chicken. Finally caught one asked her if they had it or if they were going to make it she said it was on the 30 minutes later they asked me for my details of my order to which i obviously asked to just cancel the order very unpleasant experience here! I don’t even write reviews but those people in there are so funky and they know they funky they lucky I’m not as crazy as I want to be. I work in costumer service too and understand that mistakes happen and we’re all human but why would that funky 304 tell me they’re making my food and she don’t even know what I want…
Ordered online through Wingstop app, received wrong wings. When I drove back to the store for them to correct my order. Johnathan the cashier told me they could just put the seasoning I want on top of the buffalo sauce wings they gave me. I declined that offer do to that not being what I ordered. At that point he seemed to be upset about me declining putting seasoning on top of the wings that are completely wrong, because they were busy. I then asked for a refund he said since I order on door dash (which I didn’t!) that he couldn’t do it. I told him I ordered on the Wingstop APP he then tells me to go on the app. On the app there is no option as I told him. He told me there’s nothing he can do. Now I know iv seen Johnathan working that cash register over a year. So basically I was declined a refund just because he didn’t want to and there was nothing to do about it. I left Wingstop with no food or refund and he could not provide me any customer service number. Out of $34. Will not be visiting this location anymore
They delay with the order they only spend it talking and you have to wait for the order for a long time they do not provide the bathroom service to any customer they should since it is a public restaurant and we get to consume
I only wanted fries - just waited 20 minutes for soggy overpriced fries. People who ordered after me got their food first, so I ask them about my order telling them about this. Employees were not apologetic about it and rude. I'm sure I would have waited even longer if I did not go up and ask. Store did not look clean. Front area is small and not comfortable. Tons of people waiting for their orders. Also for how expensive a side of fries are, they should give at least another dip for that price.
Customer service is lost at this place. Ordered 50 wings picked up driver to destination only to have 30 wings called to fix no answer was still on hold when we walked through the door. The sad part about it he knew what we were coming there for we never even spoke to anyone. Which means they’re taking that extra chicken that they’re not putting in our bags and selling it on the back end and keeping the money or something or taking it home. He was not surprised when we came in to complain about the quantity of the order.
I ordered food to be delivered from this location. My order was very clear & concise but I still did not receive what i ordered. I ordered my fries well done with extra seasoning and received cold, soggy fries with very little to no seasonings on them. Also my hot honey rub boneless wings were more oily than seasoned, and my hot boneless wings were so soaked in the sauce they were soggy and gross. I did not request my wings to be wet so I’m unsure why I received my order this way. Moral of the story, I won’t be ordering from this store ever again
I went into this location to ORDER it was around 4:56 PM. The manager (who's on salary) began to tell me that he's shift is over at 5:00 PM, he's cleared his cash drawer and wouldn't be able to take my order/ process payment....... I'm totally confused :-/ I asked where the next cashier/order taker was located. ------ He began to yell telling me I can just order online and the cashier was running late Car issues and left after cleaning up his meal from the table and using the restroom. (I had cash on my person and wanted to dine indoors) I ended up waiting until 6:28 PM, no cashier ever arrived to assist me. There were 2 cooks who were passing out online orders and making drinks) I left hungry not angry, but sad and confused.
I’ve been a loyal customer at this Wingstop location for years, but my most recent experience was incredibly disappointing. When I called to place my order, the employee answered the phone in an unprofessional manner, greeting me with “Wassup yo.” This immediately set the tone for what was about to happen. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. After 25 minutes, I went inside and politely asked if my order was ready. The employee, who was dressed unprofessionally with his pants sagging way below his waist, completely ignored my question and began chatting with another individual in Spanish. I asked again, and he rudely told me to come back in 10 minutes. I returned as instructed, but when I asked again if my order was ready, he snapped at me, saying I could cancel it if I wanted. I asked why he was being so rude, and he responded by saying he could refuse service to anyone. Things escalated when he challenged me to a fight outside. I stayed inside to avoid further confrontation, but he came at me and physically swung. In self-defense, I responded, and he ended up with a busted lip and bruised eyes. What really bothered me, however, was the lack of professionalism from the rest of the staff. Instead of intervening, they all sided with him, and one of the employees even threatened to call the police. I’ve never had issues at this location before and have been coming here for years, but this experience has left me shocked and frustrated. I’ll be reporting this incident to corporate. I strongly advise potential customers to avoid this location until the staff is properly addressed and retrained in customer service and professionalism.
My friend had a disgusting and sexist experience at Wingstop Emeryville (#454), and after hearing what happened, I went myself to see how they handled things. What I found only confirmed how poorly she was treated. She told me a man claiming to be the manager handled food without washing his hands, laughed at her when she called it out, mocked her, and refused to take her concerns seriously. When she asked for a refund, he refused, started speaking in another language while laughing at her, denied her a receipt, and wouldn’t give his name. It was clear he was being sexist and dismissive simply because she was a woman. But when I went in, the same man acted completely different toward me. He was polite and respectful, but when I brought up the issue, he downplayed it and said it wasn’t a big deal because he washed his hands after handling food for others. This proves he knew exactly what he was doing when he mocked and disrespected my friend. This place doesn’t just have poor hygiene—it has a sexism problem. My friend has filed a complaint with the California Department of Public Health, and I fully support her. Avoid this place if you care about food safety, professionalism, or basic respect.
Literally do not come here. The service sucks and is super inefficient. I ordered take out and the service was still bad. They told me it would be 20 minutes for pickup after I called and I ended up waiting another 50 minutes after the original 20 they had told me it would be. Not to mention I ordered over the phone and they didn’t submit my order until I got to the restaurant AFTER they ignored me standing at the register for like 15 minutes.
When my sister walked into the restaurant no one was at the front to greet her. Then a young lady came from the back. When she attempted to place an order with the lady she began speaking Spanish to a young man sitting in the corner eating. After they finished conversing, the young tells my sister that he is on his break and if she wanted to place an order she needs to do it online. Rather than placing the order online we chose to leave. If I could have given 0-stars i would have because I didn't get a chance to taste the food and clearly received no service. As once working in food service I understand the need to take your breaks but business should not stop because you have no relief.
They delay with the order they only spend it talking and you have to wait for the order for a long time they do not provide the bathroom service to any customer they should since it is a public restaurant and we get to consume
Ordered online through Wingstop app, received wrong wings. When I drove back to the store for them to correct my order. Johnathan the cashier told me they could just put the seasoning I want on top of the buffalo sauce wings they gave me. I declined that offer do to that not being what I ordered. At that point he seemed to be upset about me declining putting seasoning on top of the wings that are completely wrong, because they were busy. I then asked for a refund he said since I order on door dash (which I didn’t!) that he couldn’t do it. I told him I ordered on the Wingstop APP he then tells me to go on the app. On the app there is no option as I told him. He told me there’s nothing he can do. Now I know iv seen Johnathan working that cash register over a year. So basically I was declined a refund just because he didn’t want to and there was nothing to do about it. I left Wingstop with no food or refund and he could not provide me any customer service number. Out of $34. Will not be visiting this location anymore
Ordered online to skip the line, got there 3 minutes after the app said it was done. Showed them the name they said they didn’t have it then continued to ignore me for 30 minutes while all 3 of them stood in the back tossing chicken. Finally caught one asked her if they had it or if they were going to make it she said it was on the 30 minutes later they asked me for my details of my order to which i obviously asked to just cancel the order very unpleasant experience here! I don’t even write reviews but those people in there are so funky and they know they funky they lucky I’m not as crazy as I want to be. I work in costumer service too and understand that mistakes happen and we’re all human but why would that funky 304 tell me they’re making my food and she don’t even know what I want…
I went into this location to ORDER it was around 4:56 PM. The manager (who's on salary) began to tell me that he's shift is over at 5:00 PM, he's cleared his cash drawer and wouldn't be able to take my order/ process payment....... Customer service is lost at this place. Ordered 50 wings picked up driver to destination only to have 30 wings called to fix no answer was still on hold when we walked through the door. The sad part about it he knew what we were coming there for we never even spoke to anyone. Which means they’re taking that extra chicken that they’re not putting in our bags and selling it on the back end and keeping the money or something or taking it home. He was not surprised when we came in to complain about the quantity of the order.

I ordered food to be delivered from this location. My order was very clear & concise but I still did not receive what i ordered. I ordered my fries well done with extra seasoning and received cold, soggy fries with very little to no seasonings on them. Also my hot honey rub boneless wings were more oily than seasoned, and my hot boneless wings were so soaked in the sauce they were soggy and gross. I did not request my wings to be wet so I’m unsure why I received my order this way. Moral of the story, I won’t be ordering from this store ever again
