If you love good Pho, definitely recommend they treated us so well. My daughter loves the pho ever wings, and I rate the Pho Dac Biet a 10/10. If you want authentic and amazing Viet food, you won’t regret dining here.
Not sure why this place is only rated 4.1 stars — it deserves much higher! The food was excellent (I loved my pho), the service was amazing, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Strongly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
My takeout order got messed up (didn’t know it till I got home), and when I called back to complain, the young woman handling the phone said the magic words, “I’m so sorry this happened. I can fix it for you.” And she did. She re-ordered the food for me and everything was excellent as usual.
Love their Pho - staff is always friendly and food comes out fast!
Great food and great service! Fresh noodles were worth the $1 upgrade
Delicious food made to perfect order and ready when we got there to pick it up:)
Really delicious! Got their wings for the first time, and they are a winner! Will forever get them with all our orders from here!
Wow, talk about exceeding expectations.. ..this place checked all the boxes ✔️ Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in some time ! I stepped out on a limb to try something new and it was delicious ! The Vietnamese Chicken Curry 🍛 will NOT disappoint ! Nolan , the server , carried some really good energy ✨ He was easy to talk to ! Gliding around and checked on me multiple times to make sure I was satisfied !! Let’s not forget about Dat , the cook … He absolutely crushed it 🔥 I was the last customer of the night 🌙 so he had a chance to come out from the kitchen ! Meeting him was the perfect ending to the experience Thanks again PhoEver Encinitas , I’ll be back 😇
My go to in Encinitas for pho & spring rolls. Service is great and the food never disappoints.
This is such a great place for a quick lunch! They have lunch specials that are really reasonable. Check it out!
Ordered take out. Ready in 10-15 minutes. Delicious! Got Jalapeño on my fingers then in my eyes at home, arrrrgh! Fresh ingredients! Ordered chicken pho And pork Bahn mi.
Food great, staff nice. Could use a bit better outdoor area but is dog friendly outside.
5 ⭐️ great food and awesome staff. Dat is the man
One of the places I miss after I moved away. They have the best pho anywhere east of Saigon. Great menu, quality ingredients, all family owned.
Excellent service yummy food the best pho in Encinitas
Love this place! best pho in town!
Excellent Pho and easy, quick pick up
Food was delicious and great service.
Food was delicious and great service.
Very nice place, clean with nice atmosphere, music and some TVs. The pho is always excellent, as well as egg rolls. Our go-to’s. I usually dine in, but today did take out and was pleasantly surprised by how nicely everything was prepared and packaged. Really quick service as well and very friendly staff. Best pho in the area!
I’ve dined in and ordered thru app for take out. Food is great. Service always quick and friendly. Totally recommend. Family favorites: pho, bun bo hue, banh mi and chai goi.
i love young ppl who are competent, make eye contact & know what customer service is. they were lightning fast. i had my food within 5 minutes of walking in the door. flawless
My son and I love the chicken pho, fried rice and fresh spring rolls with tofu. So yummy and always hits the spot. Highly reccomend Pho ever :)
This is my go to pho spot in SD. A casual atmosphere but the pho is always spot on. We don’t love the take out bowls so I recommend eating in.
The food was delicious and well priced. The chicken wings were the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back.
This place was fantastic! My new favorite pho place. I got veggies instead of noodles and was so happy with my low carb meal. Highly recommend.
Best Pho around. Always great service. Garlic wings to die for! Also great prices. Love this place.
Super friendly and accommodating staff, and delicious authentic Vietnamese food. This place is a local gem

Deeply confused as to why extra noodles would be $5. I need pho right now because I'm sick so will be ordering from here but i am just.... i am just... flabbergasted.
Was really busy (because the food is so good) and a little short on staff. Took a little longer for seating & ordering, but well worth it.
Ordered via Doordash/Caviar and it was excellent. Best to go packaging for Asian food I have seen. The noodles for the pho were packaged separately but in the same vessel. It wasn't the hottest but that was easily fixed with a quick zap in the microwave. The wings were phenomenal! Lemon, garlic and shallots and cooked crispy. Shrimp in the fried rice were a nice size and crunchy. Highly recommend Pho-ever if you are in their delivery zone. Yummy
Consistent quality, an impressive menu, and a casual, laid back atmosphere. The menu features many well-known dishes from traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The food is well prepared and packed with flavor. Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes are huge. You can never go wrong with the Pho. I've tried it several times, and each time it definitely hits the spot. The rice dishes are delicious. It is served with Steamed Rice, and BBQ Pork, Beef, Chicken, Meatloaf, Pork Chop, Shrimp, and/or Egg, or a combination thereof, and with a light, fresh salad. It's the perfect combination of flavor and ingredients, which leaves a memorable, delightful taste on the palette. Exotic specialty dishes are also offered, like the Bún Bò Hué (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) and the Quàng Noodle Bowl. Several sauces are available at each table and/or upon request to increase flavor or complement the taste are offered. My favorite is the fish sauce. Service has dramatically improved. In the past they made some small, innocent mistakes during their busy hours. One time the servers forgot to put in my mother's order. Another time they spilled water on our table as they were refilling our water glasses. But the servers made up the mistakes with their kindness and generosity: on both occasions they picked up the tab! That's what I call great service. The place itself is not a "Fine Dine" joint. It's great for a quickie. Not the best to impress a date or your boss. But it's perfect for a later date or if you want to casually hangout with friends and family. It's a laid-back, super casual eatery, with seating inside. No outdoor seating. Waiters take your order at the table and bring you your food. Restaurant offers take-out. Food is brought out pretty quickly (within 5 min during non-busy hours and 10 minutes during busy hours). Inside is pretty loud. Catch sports games on their 2 big flat screen TVs inside. Overall, great bang for buck. Food is good. Service is good. Pho-Ever has Noelito's seal of approval.
Honestly, great pho. And great spring rolls. Except it’s really frustrating when Vietnamese restaurants add in a crispy roll inside a fresh spring roll… not only is it not traditional, but it makes something that is supposed to be gluten free, no longer gluten free. And it’s especially frustrating when they do not disclose this addition. Otherwise, I love how they package the takeout pho, it’s probably the most functional and sensible way to have pho as takeout and they’re the first restaurant I’ve had that does this. Last thing- beware of ordering takeout on their website as a 20% tip is automatically included …. The young guy at the front is very kind and let me redo the transaction. I really did enjoy my food though so I will definitely come back when I am in the area
Good pho, 3.5/5. Really enjoyed the broth flavor, pretty good fresh noodles, but the meat was a bit sub par in terms of texture and fat around edges. Given the hefty price per bowl, and the name of the establishment, this should be improved upon. Bahn mi (Sandwich) w/ beef 4.5/5 Great smoky bbq flavored beef, hearty veggies and very good all around sandwich. No complaints here. Service was very good, 4.5/5 Ambiance was better than expected 4/5 Overall 4/5 Good, and could be great with minor tweaks to food quality / pricing.
Really great service! The bun rieu soup was tasty. Most Vietnamese restaurants don't serve this soup so I had to try this one here and I was not disappointed. Thought the egg rolls were a bit cold when they arrived, like they were pre fried. I would say prices are quite expensive, $70 USD for 2 adults and 1 child.

My kids and i were in the mood for Phó and this was the closest phó to us. We saw the ratings but decided to go anyway. We got there 2 mins before happy hour specials were over and the waiter said we were good to get it. Yay! We ordered eggs rolls and phó. The eggs rolls were hot and crispy, and the phó came out hot and so flavorful. We told our waiter and he said they boil their protien for hours, use the freshest ingredients, and don't use msg. That's it, no msg. It was delicious. You can really taste the natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious bowl of phó, come here. We eat phó frequently and would happily say that this is the best phó we've had in SD. Our waiter was welcoming, nice and accommodating. Happy hour specials are a great idea. Thanks, see you again! I rated them four stars because we haven't tried their other dishes. By the previous ratings, i hope they fixed the issues.
Food is pretty expensive for what you get. Still really good though, we got the BBQ spring rolls, fried shrimp and pho. The spring rolls seemed a bit small but the shrimp was good. Pho was flavorful and good. Service can be a bit slow, sometimes you have to flag the staff down but overall good place, just overpriced.

I ordered one vegan pho it was not good vegetable were not fresh broth was very little
Service was good and the atmosphere nice. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment again. We keep giving this place a chance because we are conscienscious of supporting our local non-chain restaurants. Fried items were soggy and oily. From the grill dishes came out fast but tasted like leftovers. It was cold, dry and flavorless. Even the rice did not taste fresh. Broth for the. soups lacked richness that pho is known for. We are willing to pay increased prices as that is with all restaurants but not if the quality of the food is not there.
We have been eating there and enjoying the food for a couple of years now. The last 2 times we went there it went downhill fast. The chicken wings were our favorite and now they are dry and flavorless. Our main dishes were vermicelli and protien. Hate to give a negative review but we can't go back atthis point. It was borderline gross. We couldn't finish our meals.
We used to eat here weekly for their bun and found it fresh and quick, until we tried Pho Cow Cali in Mira Mesa: that was a revelation as to what bun was supposed to taste like! Bigger shrimp nicely grilled, more fresh herbs, better broth. We still will go to PhoEver for a quick bite because it is so much closer, but the comparison sure has dimmed my appreciation of their food quality.

Unsatisfactory experience. We asked what the diff between regular and ‘fresh’ noodles are, and they said the fresh are wider and my wife clearly said no to the fat noodles. They ended up serving the fat noodles and we asked if they made a mistake. One person told us for the reg noodles were coming out fat that day and the other said that is their regular noodles. After eating, we looked up photos to see if they had regular pho noodles and then pointed it out, and then they finally admitted they served the wrong noodles. Maybe not, but honestly felt like they just didnt want to replace the noodles. Unfortunate they only had one real server that was overloaded, but that leads to bad service.
This review is for my recent meal purchased (crispy chow mein) for take out on 7/15/2022, the noodles were moldy. I didn't see it until the food was brought home - moldy noodles should be tossed out, not attempt to cook. What if it makes your customers sick? I'm skeptical about coming back again.
Pho-NEVER- I gave them another chance and regret it. I went after church a few years ago with 3 hungry little girls. We were skipped service for the tables that came in after us, Today I got a pork bahn mi. The pork was old, hard to chew and too sweet. There's no mayo its dry and the jalapeños milder than bell peppers. It's gross sweet. Never again. Xin Chao in Del Mar is Way better!
This was my third attempt with PhoEver over 8 years and I really wish there was a better outcome. I'll say that for service, it was friendly if not short-handed. One person working the front of restaurant, so was taking care of register and all of the tables. The best thing I've ever received from their kitchen is the French baquette roll for their Banh Mi, which I'm pretty sure they source and then neglect to cut in half when specifically promised. The accouterment is tragic, liver globs/ not spread, veg sparse and not really pickled. And they leave all of the seeds/pits in their peppers and cut them really thick so just be mindful of that. Both the chicken and pork in the Bahn mi was dry, rock hard and all fat, tendons and cartilage. As far as the pho is concerned, the regular size for $19 is a waste. As many people have mentioned in their reviews, the pho broth is bland and the chicken was dry. Unfortunately, I'm calling it at 3 attempts and won't be going back and could never recommend so sadly have to rate 1 star. Not the place to go when craving Vietnamese food. Wish Kim's was still open. :(

This was, without question, one of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. The server was dressed in pajama-style clothes, a T-shirt, and slippers completely unacceptable for any dining establishment. While we were eating, he sat on a bar stool at the bar , directly right front of us and began scratching his upper and lower back under his shirt. It was beyond unprofessional!! it was disgusting. It didn’t stop there. When he brought our bill, he wiped his mouth with his shirt right in front of us. I have never seen anything so unhygienic in a restaurant setting. As for the food, terrible quality. Nothing about this place met even the lowest standards! This restaurant needs serious management intervention. We will never return, and I would strongly warn others to reconsider before dining here.
