They have variety of flights, from beer to margarita type, I love flights! I tried out the sangria flight, it came with 3 and they were refreshing. Also there is a lunch special Monday thru Friday, which is a great deal, you choose between a pizza or half sandwich and it comes with a delicious salad, with a nice view and a extra bonus bonus, if you dine there, you can get your parking validated for a few hours, (we didn't even ask her or know of this, it was our first time eating there) our waitress offered this option to us, asking if we had parked here in the building, so she can validated our parking. (*as long as your vehicle is parked in the same building as this restaurant) Don't even get me started on their free bread, this saved our aching stomachs, we were starving and that bread was much needed, we went to the right place that day for sure!
Great Experience! We have been coming to this Encino location for many years. Beginning with the staff we deal with as we call our order in - all super and they always get our order right. The staff inside restaurant are also great. This year we come here for take -out at least 3 times a week since we are without a kitchen for a bit. Thanks CPK!
love this place. Waitress offer you great deals...You may not know about!
We had a nice lunch, the food was great and drinks. Our server was outstanding and did an amazing job!!!
The restaurant is in a beautiful small plaza in Encino california. It's a great place to take kids. They even had a carousel out in the middle of the plaza. There's child care provided in the plaza as well. My pizza and salad were delicious. I got both of them as a lunch special. Yes I will go back there again in the future. Our waiter was very helpful.
It was such a pleasure to have a wonderful meal, though Jack Y.'s personality, kindness & poise made us want to come back even more! Thank you
We had a great waitress and I tried a new dish, Shaken Beef. It was really delicious. I paired it with peach lemonade and spinach & artichoke dip. I tried some of my friend's fettuccine and street corn and they was amazing as well. My only regret is that I ate too much and had no room for their butter cake, which is divine.
We love this place! It is such a great dining experience, with the best team around and amazing views. Will be coming here often, 10 out of 10!
The food is good. I would recommend the Chicken Tequila, Kung Pao Chicken, or the Cedar Plank salmon. For appetizers you can't go wrong with the Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. The service is always good here and they are most attentive to your needs. The atmosphere is nice especially sitting outside. Once you are done you can take your kids downstairs and they can ride the merry go round carousel.
I came for vacation to visit family. I ate all over LA. This was by far my favorite. The food was fresh and served hot straight from the kitchen. Service was also good. Thank you!
We got the docents together and they were able to get tables combined for the 10 of us Sunday for dinner. Lots of wine and all different foods. The gluten free pizza was fantastic for me with the pepperoni was wonderfully spicy. Both indoor and outdoor seating. 2 hour free parking with validation, which was plenty of time.
My first time here and loved the atmosphere and view outside, and the food of course! Among the many pizza places we’ve tried along our trip this is our favorite, and our server Satchel , and manager Josie helped to make our experience a perfect night. If you stop in make sure to try the butter cake desert, it was awesome !!
I came here with my friend on a Wednesday afternoon for the lunch special, and this may be our favorite CPK by far. It's usually empty during lunch time and one of the managers let us know their clientele is many older people so it was very chill. I ordered the pizza + salad duos and got the wild mushroom pizza and a Cesar salad. We also orded the buffalo chicken bites as a side and I got the blueberry lemon drop martini. Each one was excellent, and although my friend originally wanted something else for the side and the server suggested the same thing she wanted, we were pleasantly surprised at how good the buffalo bites were. The service was impeccable as well! All the staff were so kind and helpful and said it was refreshing to have younger faces in the restaurant!
5 stars for sure. Came on a Tuesday around 7pm...the place was chill, not busy. It’s on the upper level with a nice curved layout and natural light coming in, which felt really good. Got the complimentary bread to start. We had the cauliflower buffalo, BBQ chicken pizza, and salmon plate. Cauliflower hit the spot, especially dunked in bleu cheese and ranch. Pizza was tasty as always. Salmon was fresh, just could use a little more seasoning or sauce. Service was top notch...friendly and on point. Definitely coming back.
Wonderful dining experience for our first time at this location. The food was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. I can't say enough about our server, Nishi...Definitely first class service! Very impressive by the entire staff & Manager, Josie! Excellent job!
First time at this location, little on the small side, but seated very quickly for lunch during the week. Very clean, such a neat atmosphere. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We had an older gentleman who was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend and will return. Great service and great food.
Great service, good food - a bit salty for my pallet but that’s just me. 2nd story views is nice. The road noise is a little loud. Lunch specials such as pizza and salad for $15 is a good deal! Photos as of may 2020.
I recently had the most incredible dining experience at California Pizza Kitchen, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. Our waiter, Xander, was nothing short of exceptional. He greeted us with a bright smile and an enthusiasm that was infectious. Throughout the meal, Xander was attentive without being overbearing, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on! We tried a few dishes based on his suggestions, and every bite was pure perfection. Xander’s professionalism and friendly demeanor made us feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant. Equally impressive was the manager, Jack, who came by our table to check on us. Jack’s passion for providing top-notch service was evident in every interaction. He made sure everything was just right and even took the time to chat with us about the history of California Pizza Kitchen and the inspiration behind some of their signature dishes. It’s clear that Jack runs a tight ship, and his leadership shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. The food, of course, was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But it was the exceptional service from Xander and the warm hospitality from Jack that truly made our visit special. I can’t recommend this location enough! We’ll definitely be returning soon, and I hope we’re lucky enough to be served by Xander and see Jack again.
Recently, i went to the Encino CPK and had a Barbecued Chicken Salad. What a fabulous salad! It included finely chopped lettuce, sliced chicken breast, sweet kernel corn, black beans, and fried wontons. They include ranch dressing and barbeque sauce as toppings, with fresh sourdough bread slices to accompany the salad. I finished my meal with Key Lime Pie as dessert and decaf coffee. A fabulous meal with courteous and first-rate customer service provided by the staff and management. This is a top-notch location and highly recommended by me. A+++!!

I was here with friends. The place is really good. I really like the one tea flavoured drink (forgot the name). The taste of food is really fantastic. The ambiance is so good. And staff are really friendly.

Went to CPK with my husband and kids. Food was great, service was exceptional and the atmosphere was lovely.
My husband and I just ate here the other night and it's been a long time since we have eaten at the California Pizza kitchen the food was delicious a salad with extra friendly and we just wanted to thank you for just being very kind especially when my husband fell out of the chair
Happy hour appetizers are very reasonable and good! always eat artichoke spinach dip and buffalo shrimp
Food is always so fresh anytime we come. We love Mario he’s the best server ! Jack and Jocelyn are such great managers. Favorite lunch spot for a really long time !
Service could've been faster all around. Atmosphere is most likely best at night. Nothing special during the day.

Overall the service was very nice and that was a pleasant surprise these days. I had chicken Picata, and was happy with it. Maybe a touch salty but nothing I couldn't deal with. It came out hot and the chicken was tender so I was pleased over all. My companion had pizza and it was ok. If they opened today and that was their main thing I don't think CPK would have the shelf life they do. I liked the seasonal watermelon cooler drink I had too.
Food surprisingly was actually good. Wasn't greasy at all and had a lot of flavor to it. Our server was also really kind and very cool. I just don't like malls and I really am not into chain restaurants, but as far as CPK this might be one of the better ones in the area
Service can be a bit slow at times. No reservations so sometimes you have to wait even though there are open tables. The outside seating is a nice option in the summer. My daughter really likes to go here.
Great experience here! Our server was quick and respectful. The food was really good as well - we got the BBQ chicken pizza and vegetarian pizza. Both were really light due to the thin crust. While the food was great, drinks were ok. I got the passionfruit mango iced tea but it didn't taste like that at all. Other than the drinks, great experience.
not like how it use to be. the spinach dip was salty and looked like it was reheated in the microwave. had the tequila chicken fettuccine which was good. but I remember it tasting better. Hopefully it was just a random bad day for the cooks. I will come back and give it other try
Got the Ceasars salad, very expensive though. The salad was excellent had to take one star off because I don't like soft croutons and there's was soft. The dressing was yummy.

My friend is crazy about the place but honestly I just don't see the appeal. The dishes are pricey for my range and I feel like flavor is kind of bland overall. It is a good family place and people tend to come here a lot because it does get busy. The atmosphere overall is friendly even of the food isn't too good (in my opinion at least).
The pizzas my friends got looked great, but I ordered a Caesar salad. And honestly it was the most bland Caesar I've ever had. There was minimal chicken and basically no dressing. The Parmesan was great, but it did not make up for otherwise zero flavor. So I was basically left with a giant plate of flavorless romaine butts. They were also out of two different beers that we tried to order, and the one I settled on was offered at room temperature only. The servers did their job and were very friendly... But for the cost I would say it was 100% not worth it!
Came here for lunch and while the food itself was delicious, the service was incredibly slow. We were seated for at least 15 minutes before a server approached us to get our orders. When it came time to pay the bill, we tried several times to get the attention of a waiter but either we weren't loud enough or they were deliberately ignoring us because no one even looked in our direction.
The wait was ridiculously long to get our food. We were on lunch break. It took over 30 minutes to get food. The food was cold when brought to the table. The bread they brought earlier was also cold. My chicken piccata had more lemon than anything. I couldn't eat it because it was so sour. Tried to tone it down with Alfredo sauce but still just sour not flavorful. Needless to say it wasn't the best experience. If you get salad and half a sandwich I guess you'll be safe although my friend ordered a turkey sandwich but it had no turkey anywhere.

Food is great, service was slow, and the security guard was a grade a you-know-what… The validation only covers $3.00 of the $5.00 and are not in sync with upstairs and garage prices.. Put a damper on the outing…
We frequent CPK in Perkins, Baton Rouge, LA with my family, and the atmosphere between workers and management did not seem conflictive, but here in Sherman Oaks, I went with my family, and at the same time there is an atmosphere of tension between the waiters and the manager, low-voiced conversations and mocking glances between them that make the family moment somewhat uncomfortable. I don't know how much the prices have changed in a year, but the pizzas look poor in ingredients. I think I will continue making my pizzas at home. By the way, bring back the shrimp scampi pizza for the love of God.

They were on time and driver courteous....but pizza was cold and soggy not crunchy ...First time I ordered delivery....not sure I'd do again.
Quality of has taken a serious dive. Less quality ingredients and mostly fillers. We ordered 3 orders guacamole and chips for 6 people. I'd never seen guacamole consisting of mostly corn! Salads also suffered from the same fate. Definitely not worth paying almost $30 per person to have subpar food.

Their rails outside are so dirty it gets black stuff all over your clothes! Im highly upset about it. They need to clean their place
Not the friendliest place. For the most part the food was good. UPDATE: After my review the manager called and apologized. He said he wanted us to remain customers of California pizza kitchen and took my info to send us a gift certificate to return. Still to date, I have not received it.
We had a very bad experience recently. We were celebrating a birthday and were a partyof 10. There were several tables available but they were short of help that evening. We waited one hour and even then the hostess seated us far apart. Inspire of the fact that the fireplace table had been vacant for the whole hour. The hostess Rachna had a very bad attitude and so did the manager on duty. No apologies no adjustments were made by the manager.
Food was underwhelming for the price. The waiteess was not in a good mood it seemed. I am not coming back here and not a Fan of CPK, especially this location.
Horrible. The staff is extremely rude and appalling and clearly hired off the street with no people or customer service skills. I would not wish my worst enemy dine at this establishment with the pathetic excuse for a manager who is rude, nasty and condescending and gossips about customers with their associates. This place is essentially Mean Girls in the real world setting and I will not be here for it. Close this location down, and the management should begin working in a factory that requires no human interaction whatsoever for the better good of society.
This isn't the first time, but it will be the Last. A warning to anyone who orders pasta from this Establishment. Pictured is the Mac n Cheese they sent, a drizzle of sauce if any, you can see the plain noodles with no sauce x3 9.00 each. Then the spaghetti and marinara sauce which is $20.00 where they put a spoon full of sauce on noodles. This is the 3rd time they have decided that sauce is not important when making a dish that costs 900% less than the product sold. Goodbye forever you miserly CPK

Im getting so tired of going out to eat and having the servers just be rude. We were in that part of town for a important meeting. I dont know what we did. But PATTY was not attentive. Acted like we were bugging her... brought our food out (a pizza that wasn't worth the money, oily and overall was not good) without plates. Another server had to go get us plates. We just felt as if we were not paid attention too. No pre bussing. And overall she wasn't friendly. As a former server and a good one at that. I never treated my guests like this. I always made them feel special. we didn't ask for anything extra except some cheese. We didnt feel.welcome in your establishment. Do better.
Bad service…if want to pick up delivery order you have to wait 10-15 min …lazy employees
The food is excellent at this place. The service from the waitresses is very bad. After 30 minutes of sitting down, they don't offer you a drink. Meanwhile, three of them are chatting. I think this place is losing a lot of customers because of the bad staff.
