Fast mobile order. This Starbucks is open later than a lot of the ones in Oakland. We went here because the one on Telegraph that was supposed to be open until 8pm was closed at 6pm. The baristas were really nice, and the drinks were well made. Good stock of whole bean coffee available. It's a little difficult to get back on to 880S.

Plus if you buy coffee or ice coffee or tea you get free refill no charge come with free water too. You can also get here cups. if you stay near store. I use this Starbucks at least twice per week. Excellent location if you are southbound on 880. Staff are a friendly bunch, it appears that there are regulars that hang out both inside and outside. The outside has great benches that overlook the estuary.

The new iced coffee lineup they have is absolutely delicious. I was a little apprehensive about paying $4 for medium coffee but it was well worth it. This particular Starbucks isn't anything special, I really feel like at this point in time we all should know what to expect from Starbucks. I would say that in general, I've noticed a decline in Services Starbucks, I'm sure that they have adjusted their payroll fiscal model and have less people on hand at all times. With that being said Starbucks is still a safe bet if you want quality product. The service can take forever, which I feel like the coffee industry has allowed us become accustomed to.

The distinctive thing about this Starbucks is it's easy access on and off the freeway if you're southbound on I-880. For that alone I'd give it 5 stars -- except that it's a small Starbucks inside and too popular for the amount of parking available (it's not a drive through). So hats off for the location with a ding for the oftentimes difficult to park situation. In all other respects - hey, it's a Starbucks - it's exactly what you expect.

Classic Starbucks decor and menu. Parking lot is a bit tight and only gets worse when folks can't park. But, the lovely view of the water in the back sort of makes up for it so it all balances out.

I typically don't drink Starbucks, I was on a work trip in a hotel with horrible coffee so this location was a life saver. The coffee was fine quad shots did the trick. I am writing the review to acknowledge the staff. Super friendly and genuine. Fast efficient and personable.

It is a Starbucks in a busy location. Staff is over-worked and some are less friendly than others. I don't blame them though, it's a tough time to be in a roll such as theirs where so many are upset and angry about everything. I personally enjoyed my drink. Thanks for a great drink.

The employees they get an attitude for no reason for making the wrong drink and then blame customer I was nothing but nice to employees she look like she was mad she has to remake my coffee. As the rating suggests, it's ok. In essence it is a clean space and it looked welcoming. On the other hand there were a few of the items that I wish I could've bought, but weren't in stock at the moment. In the beverages I purchased a Blended Strawberry Lemonade and it was on the foamy side more than the Lemonade side. Other than I don't complain of the rest. Just a little care at the moment of making the beverages and wouldn't mind it if in my next visit there are those missing pastry items.

Starbucks is my LAST RESORT for coffee places to be honest. It always tastes burnt. They charge extra for EVERY DAM THING. If you add a shot, it costs extra AND they waste the 2nd shot on the machine. If you are a coffee lover - go ANYPLACE else. My favorite is Coffee Bean and Tea 😉

The drink here was a 3/10. Doesnt taste that good and doesnt look like there is lavender cream. Also the drinks are prepared in paper cups. This is fine for hot but the cold needs compostable plastic. You can taste the paper in the iced drink.

SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY! TRUST ME! I’ve never took the time out of my day to leave a negative review for ANY place. But my experience here was so bad, that I need to WARN PEOPLE TO NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION! Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to, & I’ve been to plenty! There was no sort of order here whatsoever. Seemed like the barista was just grabbing random cups & making them because people who had ordered way after me received their drinks first. There was a guy who had been waiting for 30 minutes & I received my drink before him. Then once I finally got my drink, it was THE WORST COFFEE I EVER TASTED. My foam wasn’t even foam!! I threw it away & went to another location. I didn’t even want them to remake it. It was horrible.

3/23/2025 morning. Blk cashier poor customer service. Drinks here always inconsistent. Drink counter always wet and sticky. Too much horse play here.

Got a notification on the official Starbucks app about a buy one get one free after I ordered a drink. Instead of offering to void the previous transaction, the clerk suggested that I buy another drink to get 1 free, for a total of 3 drinks. I getit that I am getting a drink for free, but still it's so much easier to have voided a previous transaction... Not good service I guess.

Dirty bathroom regardless of time of day. Pee on floor always. Manager scoots chairs instead pick up and music is already loud. Really loud. Staff always kind and friendly. Just no one is wiping tables and cleaning bathroom. Manager just scoots chairs with towel in hand he doesn't clean.

It's one of the worst Starbuck branches I have ever gone. There are better. Fruitvale/880 has people actually give a damn about what and how you requested your drink... Embarcadero location, not so much. Maybe a simple cup of coffee is about all they can serve that might suit what you ordered. Service poor, to say the least.

I was just at this Starbucks … 2 mins ago … The employees here are VERY RUDE ! I was being polite and ordering while the barista taking my oder goes “can you please not talk to me like that…” I was just trying to explain how I would like my drink… then the barista making my drink also was EXTREMELY RUDE … They refused to share there names … Plus they made the nastiest drinks of ALL TIME !! Fun fact I always was told there’s no “brown sugar” but they were fully stocked with it!

My girlfriend got me a caramel Frappuccino today with extra caramel. No whipped cream, nor caramel. Dry, terrible. First review ever. Give us our money back

Google saying there was a drive thru was mistaken so my husband pops inside only to be awkwardly stared at by the 5 different staff members and otherwise ignored for a significant amount of time until another customer came in and they seemingly needed him out of the other guys way. The coffee is fine, the atmosphere is fine, the lack of a drive thru is fine none of those things are an issue. What is an issue is that 5 different employees just treated my husband like he wasn't a human being. Incredibly disrespectful and not okay.

There were three employees, 2 boys and one girl. I was the onle customer. I ordered Hot Caramel Maciato. The cup exterior was messy and the counter had spilled drink. The girl that made the drink placed my cup on the spilled counter. Also the drink wasn't ever hot. I visited this place almost daily and never had this bad experience.
