One of the few Salvadoran spots where food is made with love. I love the pupusas and aguas frescas, I have tried a lot of Salvadoran restaurants but this one stood out, I recommend it if your craving some Salvi food.
Best Yucca Frita around. The tamale plate is a value incomparable to most trucks in the vicinity. The coleslaw perfectly compliments their meals and the hot pickled veggies are bueno!
The cooks are the best here! The mixed fajitas (shrimp, chicken, and beef) are the bomb! And the hand made tortillas are very delicious and thick. I go here almost every other day. I also like their hot dogs, tacos, pupusas, and pastellitos de pollo. Everything i've tried has been great.
The only reason I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere is the location - I probably wouldn’t hang out there late at night. But I was able to park close, hop out and get a vegan burrito late on a Wednesday night- it was delicious- loaded with fresh veggies and I got two sides of salsa and pickled carrots and jalapeños on the side.
FINALLY got to visit today! I was happy to see that they’re open pretty early and had some great vegetarian pupusas (cheese, bean and cheese, and zucchini and cheese) in addition to more traditional meat-based offerings. Delicious curtido. Lots of other dishes to try as well! Service was fast and friendly. It appears that they do take cards here for a small surcharge, but I think cash is preferred. Take your meal to go or enjoy the nice covered outdoor seating.
Fairly quick, considering it's made to order. Outstanding food for a fair price and the young lady taking the order was super friendly and helpful. This isn't a restaurant, it's a food truck. You can just pull up to the curb right in front of it. I'll definitely be back to give them more business. 👍
The ladies were very friendly. The food was prepared fresh and was VERY VERY GOOD. I HAD A TORTA AND FRIES AND that was only $10. What is a Torta(×2) is a sandwich. I ordered a steak one it comes with meat, mayo cheese, avocados, onions, tomatoes hot peppers on this bun type bread. Very delicious and wet. Not a dry sandwich at all.
Pupusas are great, I tried pastelitos for the first time ever they were good, I had another grilled chicken plate with rice, beans and some vegetables also good. But my favorite thing I had is the passion fruit juice they make I think it's like $4 for a large and it's worth it.
Delicious tacos and pastelitos. Excellent service, with a family feel. Conveniently located by the San Antonio district near Highland hospital. The family that runs it is super sweet and the food tastes like it's made with love!
Really like the smothered burrito but I would’ve liked it better with no beans and no rice. It was very cheesy and yummy! Also their aguas frescas are good! The man that helped us was very nice! Didn’t care for the Mexican hot dog though. If I go back, I’ll try a quesadilla and tacos 😃
Great place for to go pupusas!
I got the breakfast burrito which was one of the better ones I've ever had with very well balanced ingredients. Partner got 2 pupusas, she really liked the chicharron. The passionfruit agua fresca was so fresh with real fruit and a great flavor.
Don’t be put off because It’s a food truck. Service is great and the food is amazing. Everything is made to order. Very fresh ingredients. Try it, you will come back
Good food, the staff always respectful, great place to pull over and grab food and be on my way quickly, down side your surroundings are , crackheads, dope fiends & winos, lol
Super happy Rositas is in our neighborhood. Pupusas and flautas are my favorite. Super consistent and always yummy. Atole de elote is delicious. Rice is always moist and the beans are hella good.
Delicious every time. Consistently smiling faces. Pay attention to your surroundings. What a treat!
Great food, nice family, happy to support them. The papitas con carne and the pupusas are great, everything else I have sampled (nearly the whole menu) did not disappoint either!
Pupuseria Rosita is one of the best taco truck in Oakland. The service is fast, the people are super nice, and the food is just plain delicious and has tons of flavor. Theres an area to the side with a tent, tables ,and chairs if you want to eat your food then and there. Usually they have 3 flavors of aguas frescas daily so dont miss out on that to go along with your order(last time we ordered a horchata and also their watermelon one). I always order their chicken tacos with everything on it,thats my favorite of theirs
Went on a recommendation of friends. It was worth it…Fresh made to order pupusas and these french fries with carne asado and cheese on it, are to die for! Def going back. A lot!
Absolutely delicious every time, priced well, and conveniently located!

Great truck, easy parking, seating around back. Interesting, colorful old characters hanging out.
Simply the best! Their pupusas are so delicious and fresh and they have so much variety! Tamales, quesadillas, platanos, and fried chicken plates! Very much a fan, and they also run a super friendly and clean operation!
Great service and delicious food. There’s a spot in the back to eat your food and a liquor store right next door in case you want a little something extra.
fantastic pupusas and CHEAP too!!! LOVE the salsa verde. best salsa verde in the bay
Delicious authentic food! Great service and easy to find✨ highly recommended to anyone who wants to try authentic Salvadoran food.
Yummy pupusas, and I appreciate the multiple vegetarian options! I like the loroco y queso
It was a good food truck. Pupusas were excellent. They have outside seating area
I went here for my first time Friday night after I had a couple drinks. I ordered 2 pupusas revueltas which have cheese, pork and beans. Always get curtido! I got home, took the first bite and they were the best thing I've had besides my grandma's!! They had hella flavor and they were made fresh!! I also got the platano Frito and it was sweet and caramelized. I will be back!!
Good quality, fair prices, good service. They have tacos, burritos, tortas, and other items. I had a pork torta which was made to order and quite large and tasty. I enjoyed the bread and vegetable toppings. I would like to go back and try and try the steak torta as well as the tacos and other menu items
Flautas and pupusas are my favorite. Get the atole if they have it. It's delicious and piping hot. Food is consistently good.
This place is excellent. Their pupusas are great, their tacos/burritos are amazing, and the yucca fries are fantastic. Staff are really friendly too. The only downside is location. They're open late, but I don't really recommend going after dark because it gets pretty rough. Even during the day when I've been yelled at by people who hang out at the liquor store and the street nearby. To-go is definitely the way to go.

Papusas are really good, almost great but just a little "pre formed" texture. House hortchata is super sweet. Solid little food truck/cart. Little tented area for eating, located on busy street in normal corner, liquor store parking-let. *Saw a small sideshow down the street while waiting. That added a star.
Really good place to eat in Oakland but they take so long with the food sometimes
Excellent portion sizes, quality of food and service at a food truck! I would definitely return for my papusa or standard Mexican fare cravings, though I'd recommend making sure it is during daylight. (Neighborhood and surrounding area is awfully suspect.)
This taco truck offers a wonderful selection of El Salvadoran food, including a variety of pupusas. Their portions are great, often becoming two meals. Their prices are refreshingly affordable as well.
I've been going to this pupusa truck since it opened. I know the owner, the guy missing part of a finger, quite well and he always treats me nice as we catch up. I mainly go here for pupusas as they are excellent - not burnt like other spots. I usually get the zucchini ones or cheese. Sometimes if I'm really hungry I'll get the carne asada fries or some tacos as well. Horchata and aguas frescas are served as well. I pay in cash out of habit as it used to be cash only. I believe cards are accepted now. The Salvadoran food is much better than their Mexicano food, but what would you expect from a pupusa truck? There is a tent right next to Oakland Liquors with makeshift seating for those who want to hang out in "the hood" and eat their meal. This is my neighborhood as well as my mom's old neighborhood, so I know the area quite well. There's a bunch of riff raff around since it's close to E.14 (International Blvd) and all the "working girls." So as a result, if you eat here at night especially in the summer, expect to have some scenery! If you are from out of town expect to receive some looks. I've had others say they like other pupusa spots however those don't taste right to me - they always are burnt to a crisp whereas this truck takes them off the grill in time. And the toppings are not too spicy and you can request salsa as well. Workers will call out yr order when it is ready for pickup. If you are the party type of person, you can go to Oakland Liquors and buy wraps or cones, some drink and such to go with yr food. They've opened a restaurant as well so they must be doing something right! Tip the workers as they work through the sweltering heat and freezing cold and are often not treated well by customers.
Can't beat the price of these pupusas! You get a little slaw and green salsa with them, but it's nice to ask for some hot sauce too. The meats are a little on the mystery side, but they're good. U want to try the tacos next!
Great prices, fast and friendly service. LOVE the popusas. Good vegetarian options. Highly recommend their Agua Frescas. My favorite is the passion fruit.
I definitely recommend going to this place if you like pupusas, tortas, agua frescas. I haven't had a chance to try all the items but the one's that I mentioned are very good. Definitely recommend the passion fruit drink! Peace!
As 2023 presses on I continue to try new places to eat. Today I stopped here for some tacos. The parking was fine (due to the fact it was mid day). It's conveniently next to a local liquor store just in case you want additional snacks. I purchased 3 tacos (beef, shrimp and chicken). The shrimp was the best taco though it was 2 dollars more. The only downside to this place is that they don't sell chips and salsa. That's a must for me 😁
I have updated this because I think they have changed employees who are now much nicer. Service is fast, friendly and orders are well prepared. The tamales and pupusas still bussen. Aguas frescas are the best and the price is unbeatable. In the first review I was hella mad.😝 I have been coming here for over a year. I would have given them 4 stars in the beginning. Their tamales are great and thier pupusas are passable. The rest is a little less then basic. They forget half of my order a lot and I have to drive all the way back to get it with only a sorry. I explained this last time that it has been more than a couple occasions of this happening even though you repeat the order to them in Spanish when you arrive to pick up. They take their time getting it ready and then when you get home it is not all there. They do nothing to try and make it up to you. "Everyone make mistakes she says". Yes my dear, but when you make the same mistake over and over and only offer an I'm sorry and eye rolls then it's not a mistake. This is doing your job with no care. This is not caring about the business you work for. I also ordered enchiladas that were more disgusting than a marie calendar frozen enchilada. I will find another food truck to go to. Will not be going back. They lost a long term customer.
Good truck that's been there forever. Nice people there, really good tasting food n reasonable prices

It's a taco truck and it pretty good. I've had the pupusas and the quesadilla, and the tamales. The pupusas and quesadillas were great. Horchata was good too. And it was a pretty good deal too!

This is 2 blocks from my apartment and they are usually amazing. Until tonight. I ordered for my roommate and decided on a couple of chicken tacos with onions and extra cotija. The woman taking orders recognized me and remembered that I will not eat cilantro on anything. I ordered and before I could ask them to omit the cilantro she asked me, "no cilantro, rigjt?" I responded with thank you, no cilantro at all. Super impressed. I'm freezing my a$$ off waiting for my order, drop a second tip in the jar because I appreciate that she remembers me. My order is finally finished. So back to my apartment through the freezing cold night. Give roommate her food, open mine and see the biggest most disgusting pile of cilantro ever seen on the planet earth. I am super pi$$ed off. I'm a chef, which the reason for my being so impressed by the woman remembering me after 4 months. I watched her write NO CILANTRO on the ticket. There is so much cilantroyou can't even see the chicken or cotija, that I paid extra for. I'm going to smoke a spliff before I go back and return them so I don't lose my temper. If you want to actually receive the order that you place and pay for go somewhere else. Anywhere else. This is the third time something very similar to what happened today has happened to me at that truck. I'm a chef. If I make the same mistake 3 times I would get fired and I would deserve to get fired. Since when does no cilantro mean 2 whole bunches of barely chopped cilantro dumped on top of everything that you asked for
I love the food buts it gotten me sick 2/2 times now. Just cant give it a good rating. Buyer beware
I ordered 6 tacos all asada. They came out dry I'm barely chased like they had seasoning. For the price I expected better. I also had to wait A while in order to even get the tacos.
Pupusas are not that great, I’ve had better. Kind of chose this as a last resort because the place I wanted to order from was about to close. Ate here one time, didn’t like it, thought it would be better this time and it wasn’t. The red sauce they have for the pupusas tastes like grass. Try it, you’ll see what I’m talking about. I would rather hold off till the next day to get pupusas from the best place instead of getting food from here again. Really dont want to try anything else from here either to be disappointed again. It’s a big NO for me. The best pupusas I like that are in Oakland are la reinas pupusas in the 90’s
This is my first time here I got two tamales. This was what was inside of my tamale. One piece of meat.
This chicken and fries plates was awful and nasty . The chicken was over-fried and burnt, the fries were undercooked and oily, and the promised pickled vegetables were missing. A complete disappointment to Salvadoran cuisine.

The ladies were really friendly. But the food was so bad I took 1 bite of the tacos and spit them out. The pupusas were terrible hands down the worst food I've ever had from a taco truck. And when we got home we got food poisoning at night :((
