Once again Hometown has made my life easier and delicious, and without breaking my budget. This month alone, they not only made me the best iced Chai lattes, consistently perfect over and over again but they catered my twins' graduation party, AND they made my twins birthday cupcakes (every year- this year is year 18!). Hometown has always been there for me, even when I am hangery and have an off day, they make me feel welcomed and just for those few precious moments while I'm there, I'm a part of their big loving family because that is how they treat me. ❤️ thank you Hometown.
Adorable deli and bakery. The country burrito is delicious, total home town feel and the staff is incredibly friendly. Their ingredients are fresh, the list is extensive and the deli sandwiches are delicious. Prices are very reasonable, you will not be disappointed!
Stopped in for doughnuts and coffee. The atmosphere is cozy. Cakes, cookies, doughnuts, sandwiches, meals to go. Coffee is self-serve and fountain drinks available. I am saving the cherry turnover for dessert today but I will be back soon to order a cake for a party. 🍰🍩🍪🍬
First time I came here I got a sandwich.. delicious! Second time I came here I got a salad.. delicious! Been wanting to go back.. going to soon! I also love how they give you a cookie and pickle with your meal!
Small, Cozy and family owned : ) When you first walk in, you can tell this is an old building with history. They kept the look inside to capture the feeling of the 40s 50s and early 60s. Alot of veteran influence on the walls to commemorate the fallen of past events. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The overwhelming smells of fresh baked goods with love. On the displays they have fresh pastries, cookies, cakes and bread. There is many tables to bring friends and family. Bathroom is very clean and overall condition of the restaurant is top notch. You can tell there are attention to details. The fresh, delicious and fulfilling food here is what really stands out. I had tried the sourdough with salomi, ham and turkey with all the fixings. They give you a pickle and a cookie and a drink with a full sandwich. The portions are more than enough and with a full sandwich you have portions for two days for one person. With two people and a full sandwich, both will be pleased. This is one of those places that doesn't get enough recognition but still stays busy with people like me. I like to invest in my community and when they go above and beyond, you got a customer for life. They serve an awesome breakfast, hearty lunch and the sweets for the dinner deserts. Thank you for proving we do not have to settle with mediocre : )
Purchased cookies here and they were all amazing! Such a great place and would absolutely come here again.
Ordered their roast beef on FRESHLY BAKED wheat walnut bread that was as delicious as it looks! My friend ordered their TOASTED club sandwich on white bread with a side odd their homemade potatoe salad...mmm..... THE BEST sandwiches and soups in our area 😋 The staff is happy to answer any questions you may have with a smile, which I appreciate that
My first time trying out Hometown Emporium. This place is very impressive. They made the most delicious sugar free cake. My family enjoyed the moisture and texture of it. A PLUS FOR MAKING Affordable and Sugar Free!! Thank you!!
Great spot for sweet treats and coffee en route to Sequoia National Park - well worth the few minutes’ detour from the main route.

The variety of baked foods here is great. Fresh bread, muffins, pies, cookies and then order yourself a tuna salad sandwich! Or try the salads. And a selection if GLUTEN FREE bread and desserts, too! The prices are competitive. The atmosphere is really friendly with the staff and other customers as well. I enjoyed an extended visit with 2 ladies from 3 Rivers while I was waiting for my sandwich to be made! New friends made at the Emporium! You can eat there at their quaint tables or get your order to go. Sandwiches even include a cookie and a pickle!
Six years ago I said Great sandwich’s and cookies 2025 not the same place! sad to say, I don’t think this will be a place I now visit. The knowledge of menu by staff was poor. And the sandwiches have reduced in size and quality.
We’re local and eat here, or get take out, often! Always friendly, fast service, in a cute and welcoming setting. I LOVE their salads, taco salad and Chinese chicken are my favorites. The sandwiches are very large, with generous amounts of meat. The baked goods are amazing! I love getting a ‘surprise’ cookie included with your lunch order. It could be any one of their dozens of types available and they are ALL delicious! Must also mention that they have the ‘good ice’ at the soda fountain! 😊
I love the Hometown emporium , I am a regular here, I love the food and the service , I just want to say that the people who work there are amazing. Thank you for being a part of my day everyday .
Amazing and cozy pastry shop! Absolutely gluten free friendly and the people there were so nice. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm quiet and cozy place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Large groups unfortunately, I don't believe they wouldn't have the seating for, but that is definitely not a negative thing! We will most surely be coming back!
First time customer... I tried the Pastrami sandwich... It was really good... I wish it was a little bigger for that price. The food was really good and so was the oatmeal cookie that was a pleasant surprise that was added in. Grear service... Parking is a little tricky at lunch but doable! I would definitely give them a try... I will be going back soon!
Love this place , great local food! 🥘 Love the salad bar for a quick lunch. Make sure to try a chocolate drop cookie. They're the best.
Placed a large order of cupcakes for my grandsons first birthday. Great friendly service and yummy cupcakes!

The BEST sandwiches and baked goods in town! Also, exceptional service and the cutest setting! They have a delicious fresh salad bar and yummy cookies. I mean, what can’t you get at this place!?! Oh and for some reason, the pickle that comes with your sandwich is the best ever too!!! Can’t go wrong here. Love the small town charm.

I ordered oatmeal . It was a nice size for $6 , it came with small containers of brown sugar, butter, milk and raisins. It also comes with two slices of bread of your choice. I also ordered a country breakfast burrito for $8. It was more of a large wrap and the portion of eggs, bacon and whatever else inside the wrap were little. I did not enjoy it.

So I seen someone post on the Exeter page to review this place because it could help them out and reminded me of an experience I had there only a couple years ago… The women who owns this place and her husband decided to post about me on an Exeter Facebook page completely untrue things and completely unprofessional because it affected my work as well… hopefully this is a wake up call not to gossip online. The owner and her husband are liars and are the type of people that think they can post online to ruin someone’s life based off untrue gossip. Like most older folks thinking they can post and say whatever without repercussions. Especially to someone who tried to support a small town, small business. I guess that’s how they repay the community. However, I am still very honest even though the lady and her husband spread false claims about people online. Sadly, the food is very vanilla. I don’t think they know what seasoning is.
