It’s Christmas, I’m pregnant and I had to work too so getting off work I really wanted a twisted flamingo and we ended up getting food with it too but the girly pops were so sweet and their attitudes were in good spirits. I hope they get paid good and all good things come to them for working hard 🫶
This Sonic location is impressively efficient, even during peak hours. When picking up delivery orders, the staff brings them out promptly, despite heavy traffic. The team is consistently friendly, which is a notable contrast to the Sonic off Golf Course, where I've experienced slow service due to understaffing and occasional rudeness. Kudos to this location for its great management and excellent service!
Had an order via the app, the auto locator got my location wrong and put me in Bernalillo. Had to call to either cancel my order (refund takes at least a week) or come to this location. The manager (Ethan Sisneros) was great about it and ensured that my food would be made fresh when I got here- since it’s rush-hour. That’s exactly what happened and what was a pain in the rear due to an app error turned out pretty good with hot fresh food when I checked in. Thanks Ethan I would give the food 5 stars but I tried the queso w/ popcorn ckn and it tasted meh and looked awful. Oh well next time gravy or sauce.
First time going to Sonic. All I got was the cheesecake Oreo shake and it was too think to drink out of a straw. Definitely could have grabbed a spoon. Not bad, but I only tried one thing. I really enjoyed the drive in vibes. Would try again to give a more accurate description and review!
The worker and it's not her fault that our experience was meh. I got the chicken strips, fries and a blast. My daughter got grilled cheese, fries and a shake. It took forever and it wasn't even what we ordered. The girl was sweet and took it back for our correct food but after that long wait the food was not very good at all. For nearly $30 I expected a little bit better.
No complaints about the food but every time I stop by for a little snack they take forever to make it. I always order online and then head there. Once I check in it literally takes them 15 min or more to bring my order. Today it was just a wrap.
While the food was great and had no issues, there seemed to be only two people running the location. When we did finally get our two drinks after 30 minutes, the wonderful woman who served us was clearly overwhelmed. Shame on the location for not hiring more people.
We ordered 2 cherry limeades. When we finished our drink we discovered that our cherry limeade was missing the cherry fruit and the lime fruit that the menu says comes in the drink. What happened to the happy little peppermint candy that used to come with an order? 🤔
I usually come over here and order a simple little snack, snacks or drinks as I’m moving around town and I’m passing by but it’s 2:10 PM on a Monday and after waiting in line for the drive-through I got to the front and the lady just said “we can’t do slushes” no explanation no oh sorry we can’t do that right now. It was more of a bothered tone as if I knew that they were supposed to not be serving slushes. My food is usually good from here. The customer service just seems to be doing worse, it’s hard to find good employees.
The service is slow and majority of the order screens either don't work or have been removed completely. It's extremely frustrating to move from stall to stall until you find one that works.
I went to this location this evening since it was close by on the way home. I ordered a 5 piece chicken tender meal and when I received it the chicken was hard and dry. It was terrible. I called back to tell them and they said they would remake my order. They remade it but only gave me 3 tenders. To top it off the price for my meal was $14 for gross dry tenders and it doesn’t even come with a dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was extra. I should’ve requested a refund but I didn’t want to be a Karen. This location is terrible.
It took 15 minutes for one small oreo shake w no cherry. They mess up the first time put cherry I'm allergic to cherry took an additional 5 more minutes for one w out and during that time there was a half naked guy in the store walking around very unhygienic and creeped my hubby and I out.
Tried this location a few times when i stay at the hotel next door and always the same. Fries and tots are barely warm or stale and burgers are the same hardly warm.
They took a little while and when they came they forgot some food items plus a drink. 😟🥤 After opening the meals they were all squished together and there was no flavor whatsoever. 🤢😩
I ordered a coney dog the chili beans were cold and hard and there was a long piece of red hair in my food I showed them and they told me they couldn't do anything about it and no refund. We also ordered ahead of time and showed up 10mins later and my order wasn't even ready.
This store has a habit of not checking orders to make sure they are correct. Tried to call but no answer. 2/3'ds of stations have been removed. Tried one, said the button was activated but no response. Had to go through drive through window to get order after 10 minutes waiting.
No sense of urgency for contracted delivery drivers. Waited over half an hour to receive a customer's pre ordered order that should have been made before arrival while they prioritized new orders and drive through
Took a little over 35min to get our food! We couldn’t even leave before that bc of the drive thru was busy and couldn’t back out. Definitely wont be back!
Worst Sonic I have ever been to. Once took my online order only to show up and them be closed. People were there just weren't working. Multiple other times they have only the drive thru open. Others times 30+ minute wait. Understaffed for sure but I mean come on.
Do Not stop here for FRESH N HOT FOOD! They fast because it’s sitting there! My 1st order was quick! Food all cold! I sent it back and requested fresh n hot, they sent COLD food back! It went to the TRASH!!! I was afraid to ask for re-order (they may do other things to it) 😂 2 Attempts and HORRIBLE OUTCOME! I called (through order window) and they said OH WERE SORRY THATS it!! Don’t bother with this place! I’ve stopped several times here and all but maybe 1 experience was good! NO MORE! Save ur money go where your $ is appreciated and food is GOOD N HOT!!!
This is really sad to say because is was something so small that could have easily been avoided. I placed an order in advance. Just a tea with lemon. I showed up a minute before it said it was ready. No worries I can wait. So I wait. And wait. And wait. At this point I'm going to be late for work so I flag down the employee that's obviously seen me sitting there (I'm parked right outside the door) and ask "Hey, I'm here to pick up an order and have been waiting here for over 12 mins just for a tea. Can you please see if it's ready? "Ok" he responds and then comes right back out with the tea. "Want your recite" he ask. Yeah as a matter of fact I do. I take it and he goes about his day. Not even a slight apology which would have made such a difference. Thanks for the crap customer service.
Currently sitting in stall #28. Came for two drinks. Watched 10 cars pass by the drive thru. Called the store and manager hangs up on us. We placed our order at 2:38pm 09/28/24. Finally received our slushies at 3:08pm. They literally forgot our order or gave it to someone else because when a worker came to my window she didn’t acknowledge that we had already placed an order. Never coming back. Here on a business trip until June 2025. However the girl that they sent to the window was nice and respectful. Update 01/19/25 Came in for one chicken sandwich. Tried to change my order and nobody answered back so when I got to the window I just paid for what I initially ordered. No biggie. I'm browsing my phone and eating my chicken sandwich and I'm almost done when I tasted something funky,so I set my phone down, look and my bun is moldy. I just landed in ABQ and wanted a quick bite nearby my hotel so I gave this sonics a shot again. Disappointed.
I ordered a bacon stacker , fries and a drink. I waited over 10 minutes with 4 people that left behind me. They gave me my food and I drove away opening my food with the fries cold so there was no reason there to wait 10 minutes then my sandwich only had cheese and bacon in it! I drove back to the window and the lady automatically says “was there no pattys?” Like she knew they made it wrong and gave it to me anyways. Time to replace the manager because this is what they are serving and the productivity of the team is making you loose money .
Update from 4 years ago: tried it today to get some blasts. 9/21/2024 Put the an order on the app for four blasts and when we got there they brought them out all melted. It wasn’t good or appetizing. Never again will we come to this one. It’s sad these days you do t get what you pay for. The tots are never actually filled and my daughters meal the chicken tender meal was just utterly sad. I don’t know what that onion was supposed to be but it wasn’t an onion ring. The gravy was disgusting looking and look like it was leftover from days before. This seems to be the norm and definitely the last time we eat at this sonic.
