The Napa Deli is praised for its fresh ingredients, friendly service (especially Lana), and diverse menu with many options including vegan and gluten-free. Popular for sandwiches and salads. Some find it pricey and inconsistent, with occasional issues like stale bread or salty pastrami.

This is one of the best sandwich shops in Solano County! Great menu, great people, and lots of delicious little treats to bring home for the kids. We love Napa Deli!
I have tried every sandwich on the menu, and they are all EXTREMELY DELICIOUS. The breakfast skillets are incredible, as is everything else! The salads are always fresh and well made, and the pastries are DELICIOUS!!!! They even have Dirty brand chips, which are the perfect snacks. The owners and associates are such amazing people, and they always make you feel welcomed. This place is amazing. I can't wait to see the new remodel!
I always drive by The Napa Deli and never gave it much thought. After filling up at Costco the other day, I was starving and thought I’d give this place a try. First impression: nicely decorated, good atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a great menu selection. I went for the Breakfast burrito with Bacon. Good size and very delicious. The wait was a little bit long but I’m okay with food not taking 30 seconds to make. If I’m running late, I may try their online option to order ahead of time. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other options.
Great local spot. The guy complaining about the meat portion is either a glutton or nuts - portions are fantastic! High quality ingredients, nice service, and worth stopping in if you’re in the area.
Love this place. Great people and amazing atmosphere. Good prices and the few sandwiches I have tried which I am not finished with. They have such a great selection of mouthwatering tasty treats right down to the pasta salads and desserts. A little bit of everything at this little hole in the wall. Also serves wine. Perfect place for a get away date.
Napa Deli in Fairfield, CA, is a delightful culinary gem that stands out for its exceptionally friendly staff and dedicated employees. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to make your dining experience enjoyable. The staff's friendly demeanor creates an inviting atmosphere that complements the overall charm of the deli. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist in selecting from the menu make the ordering process a breeze. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, the employees make you feel like part of their extended family. Beyond the exceptional service, Napa Deli offers a diverse array of mouthwatering delights. From classic sandwiches to creative wraps, their menu showcases a perfect blend of traditional and innovative flavors. The ingredients are fresh, and the attention to detail in food presentation is evident. However, while the staff and service are stellar, the ambiance could benefit from a more updated décor to match the culinary experience. Additionally, expanding the vegetarian and vegan options could cater to a wider range of diners. In conclusion, Napa Deli in Fairfield is a must-visit for those seeking not only delectable bites but also a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere. The staff's friendliness and dedication, combined with the flavorful menu, make it a standout choice for a delightful meal.
Stopped for lunch for first time while I was working in the area, so glad I found this place the pastrami panini is truly amazing. The high quality ingredients really shine through in both taste and presentation (really the presentation is so good). I highly recommend this place and especially recommend the pastrami panini, perfection.
Great food, great service! Jason treats people like you are old friends or family that you love being with! My second visit there, I came with friends who had been there before and he remembered me, that means a whole lot as for as service! He even takes time to sit and have a drink with you! Great food and the best service ever!!!
Love this place! Not only are they by a convenient Costco gas station, but they have "fancy" to go items like you'd find at any high end grocer or deli. The gluten free bread is delish and I've never felt contaminated as a mildly sensitive celiac. They even have gluten free sweets in the deli section. Staff are super friendly and kind. Great place to stop on a road trip or as a usual joint.
I ordered to breakfast burrito and the serving was very generous. Enough for me to take home half and share with my husband. The workers are all friendly and I love the 90’s playlist they had playing in the background! We sat in one of their booths and tried their fresh squeezed orange juice. They have so many different options, I’m look forward to going back and trying more from their menu. They even have to go desserts that looked delicious
Perfect stop for lunch! The Napa Deli has a beautiful assortment of salads, sandwiches and pasta salads. It was hard to choose but I had the chicken salad with feta cheese, strawberries, blueberries topped with a balsamic vinaigrette. I made sure to sit in the back booth because I could promise I’d mind all my table manners….lol… This salad didn’t disappoint! A tip for busy families…. The Napa Deli provides homemade lasagna and chicken enchiladas to go! An excellent choice when you don’t know what’s for dinner!
Very good sandwiches. If you don’t find what you like on their set menu they have the make it your own sandwiches. I had the Guacamole turkey, it was super good and only $11.
Great place for great sandwiches and salads. If this place were in a trendier area, it would be hopping. Sandwiches are big and, on average, cost about $14.00.
The egg salad BLT was pretty amazing. It was my first time here and they might have just opened for lunch but I was helped immediately by Lana. She was extremely knowledgeable and attentive and had helped me decide. Everyone there was very personable and kind. Met Dave the owner he was awesome as well. Really appreciate the incredible service and delicious sandwich. The egg salad BLT had so much in it, it was the sandwich that kept on giving! I would definitely get that one again.
My 5th trip to this location in 2 weeks. The food is fresh and the service is good. The salads are the bomb with very fresh ingredients. The vegan options are delicious and plentiful. Fast and delicious. Side bar, the gourmet popcorns are really good. I mixed the chard fat and the caramel. Slowly died 🤤🤤🤤
This place is cute, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious! A bit pricey, but many options to choose from. I got a build-your-own turkey sandwich, a bottled soda, and 1 salted brownie ($5) for $22.
Even though I got there a few minutes before closing, I received excellent service. I requested and received my sandwich where I had to assemble the desired items at a time convenient for me ( which was the following day at lunch) so it would be fresh and the bread not soggy from contact with the ingredients (tuna Salad and sauces). Dutch Crunch bread is the bomb!
I had the Oakville BLTA and it was a great sandwich. Fast cooking and friendly workers.

Good food, always quick service. Just do not join frequent eater club. Been putting points in their for over 2 years now and never can use it for a meal discount. Kid loves to eat there on the short days from school and get points for purchases. But, when I ask about using my points the system is always down.....
Good portion is not big, small to medium. Ingredients are fresh. I ordered oakville blta, it is delicious.
The have the best sandwich selection! Everything is made on-site and in front of you. The pastas and pastries are my favorite.

We stopped on for a quick lunch. We picked a couple of salads from the case. The cashier provided utensils and napkins as we paid for our items. We found a comfortable booth to enjoy our fresh salads in, while enjoying being able to hear each other without having to filter loud music, or street noise.
The food at this place is consistently good, and the environment is kept clean. However, the staff don't appear very happy, and the prices can be quite steep. I had an experience where I was charged twice, and it took some time to get it resolved. Despite this, it's still a great spot for a sandwich, especially if you're in Fairfield.
The place was nice and organized. The people working there were also very nice. I got my sandwich pretty quickly before heading off to work. Would I go back while I live in the area? Yeah, I would. My only wish is that they would stay open a little later. They might do pretty good for dinner.
I would like to give this place 5 stars because sometimes the sandwiches are really that good. However I have been a couple times where they must have had a new cook and they over sauce the sandwich or cook the meat too long. My favorite lunch item is their buffalo chicken wrap, which is particularly delicious. I also go in for the BBQ tri-tip sandwich They have locally made salads and baked goods, and stock a nice selection of beverages and have a few beers on tap. Overall I would give this place 4.5 stars if that was an option.
I've eaten here about 5x. Lots of options on the menu. Nothing special about the sandwiches. I ordered a panini and I received a kinda warm tuna sandwich. Also if you walk in even with no line it will take about 20 minutes. Definitely order ahead. Lots of parking as well.
Ordered 3 sandwiches, one turkey club, one turkey pesto, and a turkey avocado. Sandwiches were delicious and filling. All sandwiches had a nice serving of meat, vegetables, and spread. Service was nice and helpful. Deli was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back.
Liked the style of deli, but they definitely need to improve the ventilation, really strong smell with the open environment, couldn't seat inside. Got two sandwiches, the beef was good. Unfortunately, the pastrami was so salty, hard to swallow.

Today my tuna sandwich was mediocre - doesn't feel worth 12 bucks . I'm a little bit perturbed by the $4 price of a 20 oz. bottle of water. A bag of chips is also $4. I asked for napkins and I got one. I think I'm having a bad day as well. Looks like a good place to come, I have been here before. These guys are not going to be inexpensive.
They need to be taught how to make a sandwich...so much mustard i couldn't taste the ham...I noticed several customers having to repeatedly ask to turn down the music. Tables we dirty...not worth the money . They used to be great, now barely ok.
Friendly staff, sandwich was good and made pretty quickly. My only complaint is the amount of meat they put on the sandwich, I counted 5 slices of turkey, it was less then Subway would put on but for more money. Then they offer double meat for $3 extra! Just a word of warning for those who like a decent portion of meat on their sandwiches.
We tried this deli for the first time after hearing good things. We were not impressed. For the same price and in our opinion a better meal, we would have rather had Mendocino Farms. I had a build your own sandwich, we had to pay extra for avocado, cucumber and sprouts, there was maybe two slices of avocado, definitely not worth $2.49 extra! We were very disappointed. Our bill was $54.61 for a build your own sandwich, Berryessa burrito (hubby did not like it) a soda and a lemonade. That’s it. We definitely would not recommend and will not be returning. On the plus side we were met with friendly staff.

Way too expensive for what you get also tips start at 20% simple salami sando with chips and drink $23.00 Never going back
If you love mayonnaise this is the place for you. Every single bite I took I seem to have a glob of mayonnaise on the side of my mouth or stuck on my hand somewhere. The sandwich was $17 and must have been at least $10 worth of mayonnaise..
I ordered a “Rutherford” roast beef and there was barely any meat. Sandwich was tasty but the lack of protein was super disappointing. Seems like there are trying to make their margin by cutting corners. Other deli’s would called this a “poor boy” sandwich and charged a fraction of what they are charging.
Don't go here. Food is ok at best. Also, 15$ just for the breakfast burrito.
I ordered a chicken panini this Saturday(10/15/22)around 3:00, the staff was pleasant, the wait time was reasonable. However the sandwich was horrible, the bread was hard as a rock, the chicken was dry as a bone. Not worth $14.00, for sure. I was in a hurry, and hungry, so I choked it down, and left. I’ve had sandwiches here that were great, this one was not. Seems to be hit or miss…
My experiences at this location have consistently been disappointing. Every visit, I receive dirty looks from both the owner and the staff instead of a proper greeting, despite the business I bring during my lunch breaks. It's disheartening to be treated poorly simply because of unfounded negative judgments. Their attitude tells me more about their character than it does about me. Even if they are friendly to others, it does not excuse discriminatory behavior. Everyone deserves respectful treatment without bias. During my final visit, I nearly bought a pack of cookies but changed my mind and returned them to the shelf. As I left, I quietly mentioned my recurring experience to a worker. She apologized, and I reassured her it wasn’t her fault. To my surprise, she followed me outside with the cookies in hand and gave them to me. That small act of kindness—rooted in empathy rather than obligation—was the first genuinely positive interaction I’ve had there. While I don’t expect free items, her compassion stood in stark contrast to the usual indifference. If the entire team approached customers with that same sincerity, this place could truly thrive. It’s a reminder that simple humanity can transform even the most disheartening routines.
We were just driving through and were happy to see the gluten free bread as an option. My husband got a tri tip wrap and found pieces of sharp plastic in it s he was eating it. Watch out!
For that price? You gotta have fresher avocado in a 4 ingredient panini. Black avocado doesn’t cut it for $23 sandwich.
The ingredients on their own were good. However the bread they used was stale. Dutch crust bread is supposed to be crunchy on the outside and soft and delicious in the inside. Instead it was like taking a bite out of beef jerky.
You definitely don’t get what you pay for. And watch out they don’t like cash. They give you very small amount of meat and very small amount of everything. Do not come here.

Will not be back. I ordered a Green Valley Vegetarian Sandwich to go and after returning to my office found there was three different types of meat on it. Because these sandwiches aren't cheap, I figured I should at least get what I paid for. I returned back and told them that they had given me the wrong sandwich and instead of getting an apology I got dirty looks and could see the staff clearly talking crap about me. I would normally just take the meat off, but I'm pregnant so I'm literally not supposed to eat deli meat due to the risk of listeria. They did eventually remake my sandwich; however, it was clearly squished flat out of spite. And if I'm being honest, it looks like they gave me slimy old lettuce as a retaliation for trying to get what I paid for. Guess they don't like vegetarians even though they're profiting off them?
