The chicken is SO good. This is well priced food for the bay. The salsas and roasted jalapeños are properly spicy. The rice and beans are delicious. This is comfort food! I would take my abuelita here to eat.

Quesabirrias are delicious made with fresh corn tortilla. Also home of the birria burrito the best I have tried in the area. Chicken has a great flavor and can feed a family of 4 on a budget.

Oh my goodness- I had never eaten a shrimp burrito as good as theirs. It was amazinly good! So fresh and it authentically taste good. Thankyou to my boyfriend for treating me to such an awesome burrito. Gracias a todos los que trabajan alli en Don Rafas- porque la comida siempre esta buenissima.

Ive tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all really good. People go there most often for the birria and it’s really good. I keep going back for the shrimp tacos and menudo.

Fantastic pollo asado (grilled chicken) and tortillas recien hechas (fresh made tortillas). The birria (made from beef, not goat) is very good as is the consommé (beef broth). The pizza birra is a bit heavy - lots of cheese.

Their service is great and the chicken is even better! The only drink they serve is horchata, but it's located inside of a grocery store so you can buy drinks there.

It comes hot and fast with the tortilla grilled, which locks in the heat. Service is fast and the pricing is very reasonable compared to other taquerias.

Co-workers told me to check it out. Tried the shrimp and steak tacos. They were amazing. Attentive service, clean and comfortable eating location. The atmosphere is in the corner of a grocery store, but they make it work. Food was excellent. Will be back soon when I am in the area. Thank you to everyone that works there. I came to the counter to order the cashier said hola & I said hello she immediately left to get someone else to assist. I guess she didn’t think I could speak Espanol. Anyway the guy was very friendly. I ordered a regular steak burrito, which was average in price under $15.00. They were quick in making my burrito, it was hot & I could not wait until I got home to eat it. It was very tasty & the grilled steak was top notch. This place exceeded my expectations. I give them 2 thumbs up.

So when we were in the area again but earlier we decided to give it a shot and boy were we glad. The pizza birria was like a multilayered quesadilla filled with birria and cheese with a side of soup. Filled with onions and topped with cucumber and radishes + add yourself lime and salsa. It was fantastic and we polished off the whole thing with two people. Will be back to try other things. It's inside the Food Barn.

We got the Birria Pizza and it comes all the works, it was also very cheap and the person that helped us was very nice and attentive

You gotta try the Birria Pizza!! They have small, medium and large! It was so good juicy flavorful meat comes with consume and salsas plus sour cream. Limes and radish slices as well. Friendly service. Inside an old Mexican market but chill vibes overall. Authentic feeling. Horchata was great as well!

Good food. Fast door dash delivery. Only getting a 4 out of 5 because they forgot my queso birria doble which DoorDash refunded. No problem. Other than that everything was hot and delicious.

BAY POINT location: The food is delicious, the chicken has a really good flavor and very juicy. I’m giving it 3 stars because they always forget to give you something. It’s been a few times where we’ve had to drive back. Or one day they give you arroz and frijoles and on the next visit they say you have to pick between arroz or frijoles. It’s very confusing I had never been to a place where you have to pick either besides el pollo loco. Most places either sell it alone or a combo with arroz & frijoles. Another thing I came across is the quesabirrias sometimes it’s double tortillas or sometimes it’s just a single tortilla. You have to order two or more to get a side of consomé. I’ve bought 9 before and only received 2 consomés.

I usually never leave reviews but I had to this time. This is the taqueria inside food barn in San Pablo ca. For one the customer service was very poor very uninterested almost rude. It just set the tone for the whole experience. I came in very excited for the quesabirria but it was just as bad as the customer service. 6 adults ate and we all agreed to never go back. Husband even said he wanted to throw up. We were extremely disappointed since we love birria tacos and have tried them all over the Bay Area this by far was the worst experience all around.

I ordered through the phone and since I ordered I knew it will be a bad experience because the girl who took my order answered in a rude way, I asked her if she could provide an estimate time for the order to be ready and she was like “how you want me to do that you gotta be here”, so ignored that and I went to pick it up, it was my first time there, I went because some friends recommended it, so I approached to one side of the windows to ask if there is an specific place to pick the orders up and the cashier ANA with a really bad attitude started screaming at me saying that I need to get in line, and I was trying to explain her that it was my first time and she kept screaming really loud and with a attitude “get in line “and she was like “don’t care you gotta get in line” at that point I don’t know why I decided to get in line, but anyway, when it was my time to pay she was so rude (more) they made me wait for an hour for 2 chickens, I saw how she was giving the food to people that arrived after me, I was about to ask to have my money back and she gave me my order, and with a sarcastic tone they say( she and her friend) “have a nice day”, the chicken was ok, I’m not gotta lie, but after the whole situation it was my first and last time there, I’m pretty sure the Bay Area has so many other places to have a good dinner with an excellent customer service, I asked to some people if ANA was always like that (I was trying to understand) and they said that she’s the daughter or family member of the owner of the place. Well, even if you are the owner or family member, customers deserve the best of the best, sometimes we have bad days BUT we can’t blame others.
