La sera di Natale ci siamo capitati per caso ed è stata una bella sorpresa. Ambiente molto accogliente, personale gentile e molto attento e cibo buonissimo. Grazie della bella serata.

Siamo entrati in Firenze e con molta sorpresa scopriamo che molti locali sono chiusi il martedì sera. Questo lo troviamo un po’ per caso. Prendiamo 2 tagliatelle (per 2 bambini di 7 e 9 anni), un piatto di tonnarelli cacio e pepe con il tartufo, una tagliata. Porzioni abbondanti, cibo molto molto buono. Ragù delle tagliatelle buonissimo, così come tutti i piatti. Scelta dei vini corrente ( non centinaia di voci ma vini del posto). Tiramisù della casa consigliato e anche la mattonella di Pistacchio estremamente buono. Prezzo medio alto ma in linea con l’ambiente e la zona.

Complimenti allo chef e pizzaiolo. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Ci ritorniamo di sicuro. Grazie ancora! A presto!

Ci sono stata un paio di sere fa, mi sono trovata molto a mio agio, il cibo era molto buono, i camerieri molto socievoli e attenti a tutte le richieste dei clienti. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Ristorante accogliente con personale gentile e attento, servizio rapido e curato. La cucina è buona, piatti ben preparati e gustosi. Consigliato!

A really great restaurant. Amazing food - I had the homemade spaghetti with tomato sauce and it was UNREAL. My girlfriend had the seafood risotto and it was also really good (they were definitely not shy on the seafood). The service was the best I’ve experience - our waiter Marco was so kind and helpful and gave us brilliant recommendations. I had the tiramisu for dessert as it is our last night in Italy, and it was by far the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Five stars all round

Wonderful restaurant! We’ve been there three times on this trip already, and twice in the past. We have had pizza sizzling with depth of flavor, home made ravioli with meat sauce, lasagna, and classic bistecca. Very efficient and caring staff, fast service, fair prices, lovely meals.

We weren't expecting much, just a quick lunch before heading to our next stop, but this restaurant is a hidden gem! The risotto was simply divine, perfectly creamy and loaded with prawns. The spicy pasta also lived up to its "best in town" reputation—it was incredible. Highly recommend!

Best dinner i had in Florence. Had the seafood pasta and the portion was super generous. Pasta sauce was delcious, seafood, fresh and overall...my kind of food. Dining in front of restaurant was lovely, weather cool and ambience, romantic with some background music of musicians street basking away.

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem! I was looking for good food in the area and came across this restaurant—so glad I chose it! The decor is absolutely beautiful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The tiramisu was really delicious, some of the best I’ve had in Italy. We just sat here for drinks and desserts. Overall, a good experience. The location is really nice, there was even some live music nearby.

The fried artichokes were amazing. You must order a side of fried artichokes if you go here. They were well battered and fried to perfection- a must. The cacio pepe pasta was really good. We also ordered the crostone topped with squaquarone cheese, Italian sausage, and black truffles- to die for. Didn’t get pizza but the table next to us did and the pizza looked so tempting. We were lucky to stumble across this restaurant and get a table outdoors where you can people watch while you dine. It’s located across from the Ferragamo flagship store. The price is reasonable considering the location and quality of food. The service was below par or maybe the waiter was just having a bad day. Nonetheless, the food makes up for it. Will definitely visit again when I’m back in town.

Il locale è molto carino e si mangia bene. I prezzi sono nella media, ma addebitare un sovrapprezzo per una porzione leggermente abbondante di pasta mi sembra eccessivo ... Dato ciò che avevamo speso per tutto il cibo e il vino consumati in questa trattoria .

Un ristorante non molto caro dove si mangia nella norma senza molte pretese. Siamo stati accolti con gentilezza, avevamo anche il cane e ci siamo accomodati all'interno. Il locale è un po' fatiscente ma per chi vuole pranzare dopo lunga passeggiata per Firenze è ideale.

Il locale è molto carino e centralissimo, si mangia bene. Un appunto: Abbiamo chiesto se era possibile avere metà porzione di primo per i bimbi che hanno 5 e 6 anni, la cameriera ha detto che si poteva fare però ce lo hanno fatto pagare come una porzione intera. Non pretendo di pargala la metà ma neanche intera anche perché comunque pagano il coperto come un adulto.

Good food but questionable service! We didn’t receive it (as much) but there were some groups rejected or ignored even though the inside restaurant was very open. Location is close to the luxury street and we did see a few carriage rides pass through the street we were eating. 3.5 but a bit extra because maybe we were just starving and food & drinks came quick!

Another fabulous pasta meal. The ravioli spinach and fetta was packed full of fetta, just so much better than I usually have :0) the pasta was aldente and the sauce delicious. The mushroom full pasta again perfectly cooked and balanced. We sat outside in the glorious weather enjoyed wine and the experience.

Were 2 times to this place. Personally I prefer the summer setup when one can enjoy the ambiance of the plazza. While the interior is somehow missing light, with a more standard country-side tuscany setup, the food is quite nice. Returned because of the truffled caccio pepe tonarrelli that were haunting me since last time I tasted. They did not dissapoint 2nd time either.

Let's start by saying that it's quite easy to miss 😅. Le Antiche Carrozze was quite an interesting restaurant to go to and offered quite a nice ambiance inside. Although not critical to the experience, the ceiling and architecture of the building was definitely spectacular. I had a Diavola Pizza and I had to say, it beat some of the top-notch pizzas I had in Venice! Just enough salami to bring the flavour but wasn't overpowering. Honestly a great choice, but wished they served more than 75Cl of water (this really wasn't enough for 3 people)

No reservations needed on a week night. I had a party of four, and we were seated right away. It seemed no one else was there until after we arrived. Our server lit us a candle. We got some bread. They have an extensive menu. They not only have pastas and meats; they also have pizzas. Bufalina pizza €13 - first time trying eggplant on pizza. This was good. Padellata dell'ammiraglio €20 - flavorful sauce, good seafood side of spinach €6 - Good ol' boiled spinach. House wine €6/glass - (not on the menu) I did not enjoy the red wine; too much tannin imo. Last minute choice and got a table for 2 inside. Service to start with was a bit slow but did improve as the young man (not woman) took over. Drinks were ice cold which tends to be rare in most of Europe so we were off road. Good start. Entrees and mains were a good size without being too big. Food was fresh and very subtle flavours without being too strong on one flavour over the others. Would definitely recommend and while not air conditioned was very comfortable inside.

Abbiamo cenato in questo locale. L’accoglienza è stata delle peggiori, personale scortese, poco accogliente (quasi come se ti stessero facendo un favore a lasciarti mangiare lì). Io e la mia compagna abbiamo ordinato dopo tanto tempo che siamo stati lì seduti ad aspettare e ci è arrivato il cibo dopo altrettanta infinità di tempo. Se fosse stato ripagato dalla qualità del mangiare, saremmo stati contenti lo stesso. Ma purtroppo hanno sbagliato un’ordinazione (non ho fatto storie), e siamo stati male dopo aver mangiato, entrambi. Consiglio di trovare altri locali, visto l’abbondante selezione di ristoranti di qualità. Abbiamo pagato un conto con prezzi nella media del posto. Peccato perché siamo voluti tornare in questo ristorante dopo aver mangiato qualche mese fa qui, e ci eravamo trovati bene.

We stumbled across this place without researching beforehand for lunch. Quickly seated, bruschetta antipasta was quite good though overpriced at 10 EUR a piece. Our group of four each ordered an individual main dish, two of those came out first (pasta and risotto), about four minutes later another pasta came out so three of the four had their dishes. The restaurant was not busy as it was midafternoon so we patiently waited for the pizza to arrive for the fourth persons meal and the group had begun eating so their food wouldn’t go cold. After about ten minutes we flagged down a waiter to ask about the pizza and they went to the kitchen to check. They returned empty handed and said 1 minute, but ten more minutes had passed and the rest of the group had completely finished their food by the time the pizza arrived. The waitstaff was not apologetic at all. The mushroom risotto and pizza sauce was flavorless, the pastas (seafood and red sauce with burrata) were good. To top off a poor experience the waitstaff when charging us automatically charged us in USD instead of EUR which the receipt explains included a 3.5% convenience fee on top of the already unfavorable conversion rate. She did not provide the option and did it herself on the machine, clearly assuming we were tourists and would not notice. Overpriced, hit or miss food, and terrible service that takes advantages of tourists to make a few extra bucks. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere in the city.

The service here is pretty bad. The only exception is the waitress (when i was there, there was only 1 waitress, but i might be wrong); the others were pretty rude. They're very much full of themselves. I asked them if they had any bag for my leftovers, and he was laughing from my question, and i felt kind of disrespected. The price is pretty ok. We ordered 1 pizza, 1 pasta, fresh orange juice, and fresh lemon juice, and it was around €50. I would recommend getting the orange juice because it tastes so fresh. The food is pretty ok, too. I just don't like how they deal with their customers.

A dicembre 2024 forse siamo capitati nel giorno giusto, perché oggi è stato un incubo dall’inizio alla fine. Confermo ciò che accomuna tante altre recensioni: personale estremamente scortese, zero professionalità e zero rispetto per il cliente. Il piatto era sbagliato, abbiamo aspettato tempi infiniti e, come se non bastasse, alla richiesta di pagare con POS ci siamo pure presi delle lamentele. Un atteggiamento arrogante e inaccettabile. Locale che sembra ormai allo sbando totale. Mai più e sconsigliato a chiunque voglia mangiare in pace.

TOURIST TRAP !! Do not go there. The food is terrible, we had a pizza and a crostone with burrata and both were the most tasteless food I have ever had in Italy. The crostone costs 10€ (!!!) so we were at least expecting something nice- but not at all, and it was tiny for the price. Even the pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, was bad. When we signaled to the waiter the very poor quality of the meal, he answered we should also considered the location. What location??? A small place with an obelisk in the middle? There are thousands of restaurants/bars with better locations and views in the city. To sum up: this restaurant, if we can call it like this, is a huge tourist trap. Do not waste your time and money there
