Dave’s hot chicken move aside! I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor of the chicken and the sides. The fries were crispy and well seasoned and the customer service from the employee was top tier.

I’ve been a fan of Chubby’s Hot Chicken for years and it was awesome being able to enjoy a meal at their first brick and mortar location! The food is fantastic. The chicken is juicy inside, crispy outside, and spiced to perfection. Flavor is amazing, far superior than other Nashville-style chicken spots in the area. The fries are crispy and well seasoned. The cheese sauce is spicy, the ranch is delicious, but the Chubby sauce is perfection. The service is amazing. Everyone is very polite, very helpful. The restaurant itself looks amazing. Beautiful murals cover the walls. Tables and chairs were all clean and well maintained. I’m already looking forward for to my next visit! P.S. As a bonus, they have their own Pokéstop so you can play Pokémon Go as you wait for your order. IYKYK.

Food is awesome especially the coleslaw they add to the chicken sandwich, but the chicken itself could be a little bit larger and actually should be larger than the bun it's served on, comparing it to other Hot Chicken places

We came from G.T. to Chubby's and it was well worth the drive! First, Melany at the counter was super sweet and helpful with the menu (our 1st time there), then, we ordered the hottest chicken tender that they had for my adventurous son, which did not disappoint. When they say HOT, they mean Crying! I ordered a reasonably hot chicken sandwich and their slaw knocked the flavor out of the park, plus their fries are perfectly crispy! Their fried pickles and fried mushrooms are fantastic accoutrements. Very clean place and great staff! We wanted hot chicken and they nailed it. Sorry for so many exclamation points, but this place really hit the spot 😋.

Chubbys is our favorite chicken spot. We love the chubbys fries, breaded mushrooms, the pickles, the sandwiches, and all the sauces. There is different heat levels for the chicken and the best one is the smoked flavor. All the employees are so nice. Brittany the cashier was who helped me out today and she had the best customer services. She checked on our family as well. She was awesome. I definitely recommend everyone to try it.

Chubby’s Hot Chicken is amazing! Mia gave us outstanding customer service, and the food was delicious. We got the Chubby Fries with everything and the Smoked Heat level—so good! The mild chicken sandwich was perfect, and the mac and cheese was creamy and tasty. This is the first hot chicken spot that I actually liked! Highly recommend!

This place is pretty dang good my favorite because of the kick in the chubbys sauce, i dig the coleslaw, and normally dont like pickles but theirs are homemade; light and refreshihg, ive been here multiple times since my 1st visit and the chicken is always high quality i normally am the type of person to eat a 4x4 meal but i get full off of almost the 2pc chicken meal so I find their prices fair, and the workers have all been kind and helpful

I've seen the ads on instagram, got curious, and finally made my trip to the place. The food's very delicious as I got the Chubby sandwich combos, fries, and mac & cheese. I totally recommend going for the smoked flavor if you have a good spice tolerance. The mac & cheese was really tasty and it was the best I've ever had honestly. The atmosphere is clean, decorative, and the staff (especially Melany and Mike) were very nice and welcoming. The pricing on the menu is on the higher side, but it's totally worth it compared to its corporate competitors. Seriously, I underestimated the portion sizes of their food. It'll leave you walking with a full stomach Definitely, worth checking this place out if you're from the IE or happening to stop by.

Chubby's has become my go-to destination for hot chicken.

Chubbys is the spot! There's a reason they have such a loyal following! I discovered them when they were just out of a house and food truck and now they got their brick and mortar and the chicken is still hot, still fresh, and still the best chicken in the IE. I always get their duo combo with ranch, spicy sauce, and chubbys sauce. Their Mac and cheese and fries pickles are both phenomenal as well. The restaurant is nice and always clean. 10/10 highly recommend

If you never been here, you’re missing out by far the best hot chicken in the in the Empire chubby’s hot chicken fire. I got a number one ..It comes with two chicken sandwich and fries. My wife ended up getting the number 3 chicken tenders and some fries. And like always it did not disappoint. Love the atmosphere love the service. They’re very friendly very welcoming you guys. This is a gem here in Fontana. One out of 10 we’re gonna give this place at 10.

My wife also ordered the fried mushrooms, which were really good! Overall, I'd recommend dropping by and having a meal here. Whatever you decide to get will end up being a great choice!

Spicy cheese is the way to go not my favorite ranch but to be honest with this flavor profile you don’t even need it. Will be going back in the future when I feel like being a Chubby boy again.

This place beats Dave's Skimped out chicken All day everyday. The portions are huge and cheaper than Dave's Skimped out chicken. You can easily make two Dave's skimped out meals with one of chubbys combos! The heat levels are insane! I could only handle the crying chubby and it has me crying with intense flavor! I love the chubby fries! Especially with their in-house cheese sauce! It's spicy too! The tenders are huge, juicy and very spicy depending on your heat level! Staff here is very friendly and will get your order out ASAP. Five minutes tops! Unlike Dave's Skimped Out Chicken which takes 15-30 minutes for your skimped out meals to arrive. Give this place a try! You won't be disappointed!

Staff is super nice and the food is bomb. The wait is not long to get your food. The atmosphere is great. It is spicy so careful what spice level you choose but super flavorful. Portions are generous. My husband and I can share the #1 and its a full meal. There ranch is good too, its only $1 and they give you a good size.

Chubby’s Chicken was a great experience from start to finish. The chicken was incredibly tender and full of flavor, definitely some of the best I’ve had. The atmosphere was welcoming, with a great music selection. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Chubby’s Chicken and will definitely be coming back.

Good local spot! A better version of chicken and the restaurant is cool. Only thing they don't do phone orders which is a little annoying but other than I would totally recommend.

Nice people, trendy place but the hype wasn’t all that. If you LOVE hot spicy chicken, maybe for you but not much flavor otherwise in my opinion. I’ll stick with Cane’s or Chik’file

The chicken is way better than Canes! Definitely giving Dave's hot chicken a run for their money. The fries were crispy as they should always be. Only thing that didnt let me give a 5 stars was the price for the mac and cheese. The mac was mackin but for almost 7 dollars for a little scoop? If they brought that price down to a 5.50 that would give them 5 stars forsure! Will be back! Recommend trying it for yourself.

Honestly, I was skeptical going in bc of all the hype online but I was pleasantly surprised. I got 2 tender and the loaded fries. It was so much food. I ate half for lunch and rest for dinner. The chicken was good and a good amount of heat. the loaded fries were just okay. It was just fries, slaw, and a little bit of sauce. It could've had a different sauce or more of it. Overall, the food was good and would recommend going.

The food is really good, nice and spicy. The only reason I downvote was the price. A lot of the people price it $10-$20 but that not true. It is closer to $20-$30. The drink isn’t included so it add $3 to any comb and as spicy as it is, most gonna want a drink. The Mac and cheese is good but it is almost $7 for a small container which is wild. The deep fry pickle is also $7. Everything is so expensive for the extra. For $14 you get 2 tender and 1 fries which most place would include the drink for that price. If you don’t mind paying for high prices for chicken then this place is awesome. I don’t think I will come here often besides a special treat cuz the high prices.

Need better chairs! Food and service are great. My only complaint is about the chairs. How can a place called Chubby’s have tiny metal chairs unfit for any moderately plus sized person? LOL Chairs are ridiculously uncomfortable. I look around and it appears most people have this problem. We have to sit on the edge of the seat cause the metal bars pinch anyone with any kind of a butt.

We ordered: 3 of the 1 sandwich & 1 tender and one 2 tenders. Fried mushrooms. It was OK. It tasted like any other chicken tender chains, nothing better or special. What was disappointing was all these foodie reviews were showing these large tenders that are massive and bigger then the bun, but what we got were very small tender pieces. The bun is small so in my picture you can see the size of the tender is not really big. Their fries are good though. Also enjoyed the fried mushrooms, becareful it comes out hot. Let it cool a bit before eating. The service was exceptional. So nice and friendly.

Great services, the chicken tenders are good but I'm really disappointed on the Mac and cheese it look like chilaquiles o masa is not what I was expecting I would not returned and I want a refund .

This place has horrible customer service and especially horrible food! I can’t tell which one is worse! Please don’t waste your money or time supporting a business that hands out terrible food and customer service.

So my wife ordered pick up at this chicken spot literally her favorite since it opened. Today was terrible I went in and was informed to wait more because it was not ready. 10 minutes by then another 20. The girls at the counter would not acknowledge me or give me an eta. My wife came in looking confused as to why an order pick up we place over 45 min was still not ready. She approach the counter and was handed a bag of food that had been sitting since I had come into the restaurant. They did not give me the right order but after being so frustrated we just drove back home which is two citys over. Disappointing.
