Very good place to eat the cook and the server are excellent. Real Mexican home made tortillas and the food was super. I give this place a 10.

Most authentic Mexican Food, Nowadays it’s so hard to find a Restaurant that serves Authentic flavors from our Country. My husband ordered Menudo and it was served with large hand made corn tortillas, Menudo plate was full of flavor. He is difficult to please and believe me he loved the Menudo I ordered chicken red enchiladas and my enchiladas were made out of real down from scratch red mole ♥️ delicious 😋 We will definitely come again!

El Colima’s original bean and cheese burritos have been a family staple for my family and I. Several times a month we would have a handful of these burritos in the fridge. They are so simple but have the best taste.

It was good..I had my lunch and I didn't want to leave I got comfortable..I would most definitely go again with out a doubt. I usually get carne asada with french fries but next time I think I'll get chicken burrito to see how that tastes I'm thinking very tasty! Must stop by again

Me and my daughter are picky when it comes to Mexican food...this place is amazing don't let these reviews fool you ...on point when it comes to taste best place I ever had in my whole life and I'm 34 years old....staff is so nice and respectful..this family has came along way and still together making what the love best ..God bless the team that owns the place keep up the good work....

Amazing. Also, they are open 7 days a week. I love the chicken tacos. Their beans are really authentic, not like the canned stuff. Their chips are made on site. I absolutely love their mild salsa. Also, their flautas are some of my favorite of all time. One of their workers doesn't speak English very well. Be patient, the food is worth it.

This place is family oriented. They care about their customers and the service they offer. The owner and his wife are very special they make sure everyone is treated respectfully. The food is a cut about the rest. It's cooked to perfection and marinade sizzling goodness. We have carnitas and carne asada fries and my son had 🌮 tacos. All the food was delicious. We plan to return soon for another great meal. One of my best in the IE.

Great authentic place to have tacos and classic Mexican food! The cabeza quesadilla was delicious and that cabeza tacos had the right amount of delicious meat! The servers are super friendly and welcoming right from the beginning and took the time to get to know us and give us a great experience! Not one error on the take out or dine in orders, the shrimp burritos are delicious , the tacos are even better, and they are as fast as they say the order will be ready with phone orders. They have very friendly service, and are attentive with their customers. I would have been there plenty more times had I of lived in the area for a longer period of time.

The food is Great and lets not talk about the price, big portions for awesome price. I have taken family and recommended it to my co-workers and they always go back! Food is really good and so are the agua frescas.. pepino con melon is my fave... The only reason why they're getting 4 stars it's because when you order food to go if you order 1 burrito they only give you 2 salsas 1red(which by the way is really delicious and super spicy) and a green(tomatillo sauce very mild) which I'm okay with. But when you order 2 burritos you only get 2 salsas... Like come on 2 salsas for 2 burritos, and if that's not bad if you order 3 or more you're lucky if you get 3-4 salsas. And if you want extra you pay extra..it's so frustrating cause I have my own business and I definitely treat customers how I want to be treated as customer. Step your game up Colima.

I love coming here because it is so inexpensive and it's real authentic Mexican food. The staff is really nice and patient. Pictured is a wet carne asada burrito.

Really good service, decent food, but their shredded beef is the best I've had hands down! If you order tacos & don't have lots of space in your stomach, only order 1 because they're HUGE or order hard shell ones (because they're much smaller). Overall, best Mexican food spot on that side of town!

It was definitely a step up from the food that was being served from the previous owners. Not a bad place, but could be better. I ordered a chicken chimichanga and my GF ordered some chilaquiles: both were a bit bland. They could've used more seasoning for a better flavor. Horchata was delicious. Chips & salsa were also very tasty. I hear the potato tacos are pretty good so I'll give it one more shot. Service was prompt and very friendly.

Well I found one of the worst Mexican food spots in so cal. You don't have to read this post just know it was completely all bad. 1st Waited almost 40min other customers were waiting longer. Kitchen was in complete disarray. No order no organization. When our food finally came out somehow it was cold. Our tacos came with onions which I had request clearly when I ordered. All they did was scrape off 1 tacos onions and then started to argue that I never asked for my food the way I like. Been ordering for along time and I always ask for no onions. So then they scrapped off the onions off the other 2. The torta was just bread, meat and one side sour cream and the other guacamole. The worst torta I've ever had. And tortas are my staple Mexican dish. The sopes bread was hard as a rock and couldn't get eaten. My son didn't even finish his cheeseburger and said he didn't like it. A 10 year old didn't finish his cheeseburger is a red flag. But all our food was really bad and service reflects the food. The beans and rice tasted reheated from frozen and old. Chips were stale. Everything was really bad. And the prices are kinda steep, also don't use your atm, they charge you like its an atm machine they will pull out for example if its 35 they charge you 40 and give you back 5 in change. So buyer be ware. I would just avoid this spot.

$10 for 3 hard shell tacos is a little steep considering the size of the tacos. Can I get some rice and beans for that price as well. No chips. Come on. I used to enjoy this place. Put $10 for 3 tacos is Loco

Went here today the sign in the window said you can pay with debit. When I went to pay the lady said that the machine only worked in increments of $5, which is weird and should have been a warning. She said that ahe would just give me change for the difference between my order and $15, the next 5 up. My order was for just under $12.50 but then after she charged me she said she didn't have the cash to make up the difference yet but would give it to me when my order was ready. Since she had already run the card I didn't have much choice at that point. She handed me what I thought was my receipt, but was only the one from the swiping of the debit card. Then I noticed that there was a $0.99 fee charged, which is not cool that she didn't tell me at all, much less before she ran my card. Upon getting my food she said here is the $2, even though she was supposed to give me a little over $2.50 back. I was over it at that point. No receipt showing exactly how much change I should have been given, didn't tell me about the fee, didn't let me know before she ran my card that she didn't have the change right then, and then shorted me my physical change. It isn't really about the money for the fee and missing change as much as it about that all being unethical business practices. Needless to say I will not be returning. The food wasn't bad, not amazing either, but I would rather give my money to a business that will treat me with respect and not just hope I don't care because it is a small amount of money.

The only reason I went there today was because is the closest place to get Menudo. I tried it before and it wasn’t that good. I decided to give it a second chance. The las time I was there the place was empty and it took them forever to put together an order of 2 menudos. Today I placed the order over the phone. The lady misplaced the order and besides that u had to wait in line to pay for it, wanted me to wait additional 15 min get my order. Their menudos is not worth the wait

Don't go if you plan on using your card to pay. They run it as if you are using an ATM machine. They charge you .99$ to pay with a card and then your bank charges you a non bank fee on top of that. WILL NEVER GO BACK. So if you buy $5 for a couple of tacos she will run it for $10.00 + $.99 because you paid by card and when you get the charges from your bank it comes back with a non- back fee of $2.50. So by the time you are done that $5 taco is now $14. Big RIP off.

Terrible Terrible Expereince!! For the people who only read the first two lines!! Lol First time there was hoping it would be a good experience but I was wrong. Not sure if the cook's the owner or what but gave me tons of attitude because I mentioned the cashier charged me 99 cents for using atm and she said theres signs here and here! I asked her before she rang anything nicely if she charged and all she said was she had to round off the amount which I didnt understand then she charged me $15.99 when my bill was 10.80 she gave me 20cents then she said she would give me $4 back in a minute. I sit down and I see she charged me 99cents for using atm when I asked her previously. This when the cook starts telling me I need to watch my money and we have to signs here on and on! Then I responded saying that the xustomer is always right, his return was "what! Do you want free food?! Then I said Im the photo director for an Import/Export company with dozens of employees working there and I usually buy lunch for everyone there every Other Friday and it looks like I wont be buying anything here fromhim ever and I want my money back and I went to waba! I should have stayed at work and worked would have been more productive. Lol the food looked good though.

As Covid-19 cases spike in Fontana, This place should not have indoor dining. Also, I saw a maskless person enter and was serviced. What is this?? I thought this was a family restaurant. The food is good, but this is just shameful.

The price was okay for the amount of food but alot of food isn't always a good thing. Also they currently don't accept CC and it was a major inconvenience for me. Definitely skip.
