Excellent food.. I tried thier lamb kabab platter and veal tail soup, it was way different than any other kabab place. The Israel wine is so tasty too I had a glass of their semi sweet red wine. The staff is nice and friendly.

The food and service are great, excellent and the price is reasonable. Once you come the Salute, you will never forget it. I have tried the Shurpa soup, Lumb Kabab. Oh my God . Sambosa is just awesome you have to try it then you will see. I can't find the perfect words to describe my experiences here. But they are very nice and the service is brilliant.

Salute is an exceptional Uzbekian restaurant. I've been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years and even celebrated my daughters 2nd birthday there. She is now 17

My first time here and experience with the cuisine. Absolutely loved everything (and learned I don’t like lamb). Staff was wonderful! Was refreshing to enter an establishment that is so welcoming of new people. I will definitely be back! The soup was flavorful. Cold vegetable salad was tasty. Chicken kebabs were tender and good Best was the round bread they serve when you first sit!!!! I almost ate the whole thing myself. Careful with the red wine. It’s very sweet unless you specifically ask for dry wine. Loved this place and have been telling friends about it.

This kosher (I don't recall the name of the Rabbi) restaurant specializes in Russian food like Plov and kebab. The food is very good - some of the best lamb kebab I have ever had. Service is swift and fairly friendly. I would definitely come back.

Food? One of the best Bukharian around. Owner a perfect uneducated Uzbek bear lost in Forest Hills. Service? Having such a boss, the Uzbek rude bear, difficult to have good service although the waitresses are nice but often lost when in rush. But the food is superior.

Great food. Come hungry and enjoy. The only thing I would say is bad is the wait time for food and waiters and waitresses take too long. Also the food does not come out in order i.e drinks, appetizers and then main course. It's all mixed up but like I said food is great.

I went there with my work colleague during lunch time. I have heard a lot about these places bread and baba gunush, so I have decided to try. Just like I have heard the place is great, and the food was amazing. Although the lulu kebabs can cook a little longer because I did smell raw in one of my kebabs.

I ate at this restaurant for the second time today. The food is authentic, delicious and fresh (relative to a Saturday night in Queens). The service is amazing as usual. The waiters speak English (something that is hard to find in Bukhari restaurants in Queens). You can bring alcohol from home, which is always great! It was busy and the food still arrived on time. The bathrooms have such an annoying LED and were dirty.

My friend and I visited the restaurant on Saturday night and were pleased to find ample street parking. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. We were most impressed by the soup - it was delicious! The rest of the menu was also good, although the portions were a bit small for the price. The tea and the dessert were both delicious! The tea came in a small, adorable kettle with two cups, enough for two people, and it was only $4 ! I enjoyed my dessert, Lavsh, which was something I had never heard of before, but it was really good. The only downside was the inclusion of a 20% service fee already added to the bill - this type of business should not charge a 20% fee. A more reasonable 12% service fee should be included, and customers can add extra if they feel it is deserved. Overall, the restaurant was a great place with a good location. The food was affordable and tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, a more reasonable service fee should be included on the bill, as customers should be given the choice to reward the staff more if they feel it is deserved.

For me was first time trying Uzbek food. The food was great!! all were delicious. The prices for Kosher also very reasonable. However, our waitress didn’t speak much English and to communicate with her was very very difficult. It felt like she also gave up on our table and wouldn’t come close anymore to see what’s missing or explain why was taking so long. It took a very very long time to get our main food. Maybe because the gratuity (for only 2 people)was already added so she didn’t care.. I will be back again and hopefully get another waitress.

Today me and my daughter went to this restaurant after school,it was good and very tasty but the customer service was horrible. The waitress are not very helpful and never smile like they are super tired with their work. Also the food takes a long time to make,I rather go to the near by uzbek restaurant than here.

I’m very disappointed!! I was there today and ordered special cut beef skewers which tasted like it was rotten or old. Three people tried a piece and all of us said the same. We returned it but first issue they never even apologized or came to offer us something new but also charged us for it. After arguing they removed 2 of the 4 skewers. Very upset with this experience and left hungry and paying for food that clearly was old or rotten.

The food is amazing but the service will ruin your appetite Placed an order online on their website. They call me 10 mins later with a question but the woman on the phone sounds very annoyed? I pick up the food and drive home and realize one of the items I ordered ($7 fries) was not there. When I called to notify the first woman who picked up was very rude. She first claimed we never ordered the fries and when I said I have the email receipt she finally said we could come back to pick up the food. I wanted my money back though since I had no intention to drive back to the restaurant and then drive back home. She finally put me on the phone with anoter employee who was just as rude saying she would not refund me my $7 and if we wanted to we could drive back to the restaurant. I now have to talk to my bank to try to get some money back. Overall just a bad experience. The people there were super unhelpful and even when I was in the restaurant to pick up my orders the workers were extremely rude. They truly have good food though sadly the service was super bad.

The food is good but i got really dissapointed with the Owner, because of the argument that my wife told the owner why does this cake lookes like someone bit it the owner tried to insist that this icecream because of heat it poped", and then thats why it looked like that" And than the owner said to my wife that "when you get heat up in the oven you will burst too" and i got pretty tight i explained to the owner to appologize to my wife and he said dont come to my store, but the saddest thing is that i gave him bussiness for 5 years to be talking and disreapecting me like that so never going back there....:( do yourself a favor go to fartuna better and much better staff across the street...

Horrible restaurant! I came in to get some food but anything that I wanted to was out of stock. I waited an hour just for to get one thing that I ordered. I was planing to go to Long Island after and I wasted half my day there waiting for the food.

Real lousy service. The server messed up the order and instead of getting us 2 salads she brought only one. Then I asked for a lemonade and she brought me pear soda instead. I decided to get a sprite instead and it took them 10 minutes and 3 times to ask for a straw. I decided not to order the main dish and just had the salad.

We had a lunch with my sister there today. Lagman was toooo spicy and tasteless. Salad was terribly made and tasteless too. Samsa was too oily, that I decided not to eat it at all. Years ago this place was 100% better. Never going in again

I got food from this place today because the place I usually go to was closed because of COVID. I was extremely disappointed! I ordered the plov as I havent had it in a while and really wanted it. 1) They are cheap with the meat. They put two small pieces in there with a tone of rice and carrots. 2) The meat was dry! They basically charged me $10 for a dish full of rice and carrots... Note: The spanish guy that works in the back preparing the food didnt even have his mask on so make sure if you get food from here you re heat it when you get home.

Very unsanitary place; cooks don't wear gloves, touch through the food. The owner is a complete moron. He's rude and demeaning. I saw him sneeze into his hand and then go into the kitchen to get our food. VERY NASTY!! Hope you reading this health department. I'm pretty sure that the rating they have for their restaurant was printed out by them. Let's get to the food now....it came uncooked and blood was coming out of the meat. Food nothing special. For the money you paying here might as well just go to the city and be treated like royalty.
