My favorite pizza. BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, onions and dried jalapenos. Awesomeness!! My partner had the Marguerite. Also delicious. We had the Public Enemy Baltic Porter and Hobo Pilsner to wash it down. Started with Bialeto Salad.
Really awesome little spot. Came in an hour before close and they were super friendly. Great tap list for beer and wine selection. Vibes are what I look for, we sat outside though because we too dogs. Pizza was too notch! Ingredients are good, dough was really good, thin crust but held the weight of the ingredients. Nice crunch on the crust. Menu has creative recipes that all sounded worth a try! I’ll be back!
Hand-tossed pizza, friendly and attentive staff, and a welcoming atmosphere filled with locals and visitors alike. The pizza is delicious, made with fresh produce, and the drink pours are generous. A great spot where you feel truly welcome from the moment you walk in.” If you want it more casual, more enthusiastic, or shorter, I can tweak it to match your style.
We were told this place had great food. It didn't disappoint. Beer was great and we ate a whole pizza. Staff was friendly and very nice patrons. The place is small, but they do have outdoor seating with heat lamps. We shared a table with a young family. It was great. Next time we are in town, we will be back.
Locals of all ages in a small town/quiet atmosphere enjoying hand tossed pizza and FAB & OG toppings with great local beer / wine selections to go with. EXCELLENT service on Mon night by Liz! What's not to love? Bring real paper green-they don't take credit (but have an ATM).
Piaci’s is a little gem in Fort Bragg! Indoor and outdoor seating allows for couples, families or groups of friends. We had the Genoa pizza ( spinach, caramelized onions, mushrooms with pesto). The pizza was very tasty and has a West Coast - not as chewy as our New York style- but still delicious! The Caesar salad was fantastic with anchovies!
We visit Ft. Bragg as often as life allows, and we ALWAYS pop in for a Piaci!!! The crust is thin but crispy and holds up the toppings...no floppy tip w/everything sliding off! (I hate that!) The pies are a little different than the usual pizza joint offerings, and waaaaayyy better!!! This time we had the Nonnie and a prosciutto wrapped fig appetizer...both were bomb-diggety!!! They have a good selection of great beers to wash it down with, too. WIN-WIN! I brought a friend that had never been to Ft. Bragg or Piaci...she says she'll be back to both. After all these years, I'm pretty sure hubs & I have tried every pie and not once have we been disappointed. RUN THERE! You'll have no regrets. Pinky swear.
My husband and I are in town for the week, it was getting late and he found PIACI. Soooo glad he did! We were greeted and sat by Shelly. Another gentleman with long hair was assisting us as well. Not only was the customer service above and beyond (even got amazing hotel recommendations) but the food was AMAZING! Very traditional Italian!! We ordered a 16” pie, half “Zio” half “Rosa,” the Antiopasta and the Stuffed Mushroms 🫡🤌🏼👌🏼 DELICIOUS!! The Vino (Pino Griggio) paired perfectly with everything 🤌🏼🤌🏼 As an Italian I give this 🤌🏼🤌🏼 & 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟of five!! We will be back!! Thank you both for Everything and our compliments to the Chef(s)!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We had a great experience and would recommend this tiny pizza/pub, but there are a couple caveats. The place is small with mostly locals drinking and visitors eating. It was crowded and too cool to sit outside so we kinda hovered until an open table. Bartender was chill and treated us like friends -gave us a couple beer samples when we were hesitating. We had the Pilsner and Wheat beers and they were served in tall , cold glasses. Ordered 1/2 Caprese salad and large New York pizza. Salad had perfect balance; cheese was fresh and mild. Pizza had thin crust with a cracker type bottom which grew on us as we ate. Pepperoni had a little kick to it, and again, their was great balance In the ingredients. Next time I would be a little more adventurous with my pizza order. If you’re in Ft Bragg, this is the place to go eat and get a cold beer.
When I visited Fort Bragg this week, I went to Piaci pub twice for lunch. Their chicken pesto pizza was so delicious. There was outdoor Dining and the hot delicious pizza felt so good to be had in such a chill weather. Their minestrone soup was also good. The environment was so good too. Tourists and locals hang out equally here. It was nice to see ppl chatting away very lively here.
Pizza was decent. A bit cold when it arrived and the prosciutto one was a bit skimpy on the cheese. Bread was ok, not super chewy but I liked the thin crust.
As a pizza connoisseur, I’m always on the hunt for great pizza. I wasn’t planning on having pizza that night but it was a little late and most of the other places in town were closed so I stopped in. The staff was great and welcomed and seated me. They let me taste the wine and I had a glass. I asked for an arugula salad and it was big and tasty, with pine nuts and goat cheese and fresh cherry tomatoes. The pizza…it was acceptable but not as good as I hoped. The toppings were good, with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella upon request, and good sauce of decent quality. But what really makes a good pizza is the crust…so important. It’s my suspicion that they use par-baked cracker-dough, kinda like a thinner version of Pizza Hut or Dominos thick crust or deep dish; they are not “throwing” fresh dough. The result is a relatively dry crust that makes the whole pizza less than what it could be. I think given the price…real pizza dough would make this a solid pizza. In the end I was full, and aside from a couple of loud goonish guys who finally left after swearing a lot and laughing too loudly, the place was pretty comfortable and everyone seemed satisfied. Side note: it might be the best pizza option in Fort Bragg. It’s not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s not the worst either.
Wide selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, with an extensive bar setup. Pizza was ok, good enough for a decent lunch in town but not fine dining by any means. On our Sicilian pizza some ingredients were substituted such as regular onions instead of caramelized and regular tomatoes instead of sun-dried. Seems to be a popular place with locals
Lots of 4 and 5 star reviews here- I’m not saying this place isn’t worthy of the respect, but if you’ve had amazing pizza in your life, and know the difference, you may have a hard time here. Definitely the best option for take away in the area.
We went here for lunch and did not order any drinks! It took very long for the pizzas to be served! Just 3 small sized pizzas (It was not even crowded). The taste of the pizzas were good! No complaints about that! And the atmosphere was small inside, but they do have outdoor dining! The restroom was clean ! The other thing I did not like about this place was that THEY DON’T ACCEPT CARDS! We can pay only Cash! I don’t know who would carry that much of cash in this digital Era! We had to run to a near by ATM to get cash! They did have an ATM inside but we never saw it! LOL ! But it definitely was an inconvenience for us! On the whole, if you want to try a local pizza/drinks, this is a decent place to try!
This place was a dumpster fire. Arrived at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday. The place was packed with locals. There was 1 lady manning the bar and the tables. My bf and I entered and stood by the doorway. Never greeted until we awkwardly sat down. My bf had to walk up to the bar at which the lady continually rushed past him for 10 minutes. I don’t know where to begin. Service was nonexistent, the food was un-memorable. We had the focaccia #1 which we asked to have removed from our tab because it was hard and cold when we received it. (They were understanding and removed it.) The only thing good about the pizza was it came out hot. Zero flavor. At one point the place was so packed that I was getting bumped into and hit in the head by overcrowding by the bar. I will not be coming back here ever.
