I give this location a thumbs up especially our server today. His name in my receipt is Armando. He is very friendly, have a great customer service. He is serving several tables that are around the perimeter. He is quick and accurate in taking orders. We did not have to wait a long time. The food is great. Great job too for the people at the back of the house coz if they are lousy that will make the front bad too. Great team work👍 and thank you for being open.
Normally I don't like Denny's, I just go there once in a while cause it's the only thing open late at night. Although! This Denny's is beyond good! My create your own hamburger filled me up and left me wanting more at the same time, along with our milkshakes, the taste hit the money and I was stuffed when I finished the malt at the bottom of the tin cups! I've never giving out a great review for a Denny's yet, but here's the first, trust me. Go here and you won't be disappointed. At least not for the night crew between 11:30pm to 1am. Keep it real, and hope I'm up this way again for some great food! Thank you for bringing back the way Denny's should taste and feel. Four thumbs up from me and my significant other!
My husband and I were staying nearby to check out the beaches. We went to this Denny's a couple times. At first because it was convenient but then also because it is literally the only place open late. I was very pleased with the quality of food and service. Very friendly staff and the food was delicious!
Yes it's "only" Denny's but it's the first one I've been to with spaghetti that was even palatable. It actually was GOOD! The servers were super friendly and attentive but not annoyingly so. Our server even knew the menu to answer my mom's questions. Plus the bill for 2 of us was less than half of what I usually pay for just myself for lesser food elsewhere.
Everyone that works there treat me like we are best buddies. John is an excellent chef. Bob is a total machine. I never have to ask for anything. They just know. I met Sam there on Monday and her customer service skills were heartwarming. She talked to me and worked her butt off for ahead 45. 👍👍👍👍😁
Aside from a group that was way too loud, our food was delicious, service was great, loved the experience.
We came here on 11/10/2023 probably around 9pm and were greeted by an actual angel sent from heaven. I wish I caught her name but the main waitress on duty that night truly MADE our night with her positive energy and care to what she was serving us. We were actually going to go to Piaci’s but when we called they were very unwelcoming so we decided to “settle” for Denny’s and it turned out to be the BEST meal. Everything was made perfectly by the cook(s) and again our waitress was so lovely, funny, and was attentive with making sure my eggs came out right which meant a lot to me because usually waitresses just give me what I get and I don’t complain but she made SURE I got what I wanted. TRULY THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF THAT NIGHT!
After looking around at the options, we decided Denny's was the easiest breakfast spot to order online from, so we put in an order to pick up and take back to our hotel. The customer service was excellent, as shortly after placing my order online, I received a call letting me know they were out of a few things but they offered us an alternative and were very clear and communicated the issue well. After confirming the changes, I headed over to the Denny's and found my order was already prepare. They packed the order extremely well, and everything was hot and fresh.
Did late breakfast two days in a row during the week. Food was good for a Denny’s. Service was outstanding for a Denny’s- felt more like a local mom and pop restaurant rather than a chain.
Best Denny's I have eaten at in a long long time. Food was really good and our server was amazing! She was on it from our drinks, appetizers to our added Togo order. Nice to have a sever like that amazing staff and clean bathrooms and restaurant.
The town shuts down at 8, and the restaurants won’t let you in if they think they will have to stay later than closing We were advised not to go the Denny’s by one of the hotel guests but it was the only thing open and we hadn’t eaten We were welcomed by Tyler, got us a table, got us set up Because everyone else was closed a few groups came in and the staff calmly took care of everyone, it was real busy for them Tyler was amazing in the busy environment I hope owners recognize his efforts as he made the Denny’s visit we were advised to avoid, and very enjoyable one If I’m back through I will have no problem recommending this location Thanks for taking care of us Tyler
We had 14 of us show up on a Sunday morning,and within minutes they were able to accommodate us. They moved some tables and chairs,but they made it work. Most of us ordered different things,but they brought it all out at pretty much the same time,which was quite an achievement. The food was yummy. We all had a good time.
Was passing through fort Bragg on the way back to sac and stopped at the only place open. The service here is great. The waitress was super helpful in substituting items for dietary restrictions. The staff is a bit loud but I get it, small dark rainy night, chatting with the regulars. Would come back if I’m in town again
Stopped by and had lunch. Everyone was pleasent and very helpful. Food was good and was up to all Denny's quality that we have had all over California. This was pretty good since this restaurant was just opened per the banner outside .the staff gave no hint that this was a new place but worked as a team that clicked like an seasoned one.
Service was great, left an extra tip. Ordered the sampler design your own. Served with dips. Coffee with flavored creamer. Food was great. Our waitress was there offering more coffee without being pushy.
Safe. Good food. Friendly staff. Arrived late at night after a fire blocked my planned route and added 7 hours to my trip. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, the COVID19 prevention procedures that they have are top-notch yet at the same time you feel welcomed. Food was amazing.

This is the best Denny's ever! The service is terrific (prompt, lovely attitude, and knowledgeable). The food is constantly good. The tables and areas are clean and appropriately themed.
We recently had a fantastic family breakfast at the Denny's on Highway 1 in Fort Bragg. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. Its convenient location right on Highway 1 made it easy to find. The food was absolutely delicious! We couldn't resist trying the all-veggie omelette, which was packed with flavor. The pancakes with fresh fruit were a delightful treat, and the fruit bowl was refreshing. To top it off, their coffee was rich, aromatic, and the perfect way to start the day. And let's not forget the wonderfully baked hash browns – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside! Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We left feeling satisfied and happy, and we'll definitely be returning to Denny's in Fort Bragg whenever we're in the area.

My favorite time is in the evening when Mike is there. The food is high quality and he keeps standards high. If any mistakes are made they are happy to fix it. Let them know right away. Love the steak... I go for medium rare sirloin and lows the coffee. I have also enjoyed some milkshakes. So good.
We had a super long drive, and it had ended up that our booked room for the night was aweful. It smelled so badly of mold that we couldn't go in. And of course, there are no refunds. Don't stay at the oceanside by Wyndham in Fort Brag! So we had to settle for motel 6 as they were the only place in town with a room at such a late notice. Kids were emotional and tired and crying. And we just wanted to get dinner and sleep the best we could. Our waitress here at this Denny's was so amazing. She turned both of my kids' sadness and tears into smiles and really made the night the best it could be for us. She went above and beyond to make sure that they had a good experience here in this place rather than a bad one. We are all so thankful. My daughter, who can go non-verbal sometimes due to her medical condition, was so touched she wrote a thank you note on a napkin for her to see after we left. We all felt peace when we were done with our meal, when we originally walked in with stress and emotions. I had not eaten at a Denny's in a long, long time, maybe 15ish years or more. And the food was good as well. They cooked the bacon to perfection for each kid who liked it different levels of crispeness, etc. Our meals were big enough we will have breakfast the morning after! Another huge benefit was they didn't even balk about my daughters service dog. Sometimes we go places and they have refused us service, (because people abuse this and bring their pets places and try to say they are service dogs. This makes it hard sometimes for those of js who have legit service dogs. Please do not be that person!) The staff here were just so accommodating, and this experience was just exactly what we needed that night. Oh, also we highly recommend the fruit smoothies. The tropical one especially! It is amazing! Don't let the word spinach in the ingredient list fool you!

On Sunday evening Aug 20 there were only two gals doing it all, seating, serving, clearing tables, taking payment. They were working very hard but consistently maintained great attitudes. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was great! Portion sizes were excellent and prices were reasonable as far as prices in this tourist town go. Thank you!
The service is super friendly, experienced and they're a tight bunch. The vibe is relaxed, familiar and just what you'd expect in a cute little town like Fort Bragg. My husband left his expensive coat on the chair by mistake. The good people of this Denny's kept it safe until we were able to return a few months later.
first time Denny’s for breakfast & wait staff was quick, accommodating & really friendly. just passing through Fort Bragg but highly recommend their ultimate omelette (we wanted to split - it’s huge! & they brought out 2 plates already portioned!) Loved it!

I honestly had a really good experience here. The manager was really nice and happened to be the one serving our table, and she had a great personality very uplifting. It took a second for the food to come out but only cause they were low on staff that day. The food was great and the Atmosphere was very inviting.
I always have a great experience at our Denny's. They do their best to accommodate everyone and my meal always tastes great. Jessica makes the best milkshakes and always has a great attitude.

Stopped in because I really felt like breakfast even though it was night time. I was greeted by a very friendly host and then my waitress was as nice and friendly as could be as well. Both seemed happy to see me as a guest and seemed to like their jobs My waitress was super apologetic about how long it took for me to get my food but I honestly didn't notice it taking super long. The food was great and the service friendly.
A go-to place for any traveler that needs a meal. Consistent quality and good value to cost is what we all know Dennys is known for. The Fort Bragg location is clean and has more of a home town feel than the usual corporate fewl. Staff is great and friendly making that home town atmosphere. Of course food quality is on par food with what you expect. Not much more you could want from americas dining chain. Also can't go wrong with a grand slam. Visited again in 2025
(YOU CAN'T USE REWARDS HERE) I travel full-time and this is one of the most consistent location I've possibly ever been to. While the staff gives off nonchalant vibes and almost never writes down your order, TRUST that they've got your order right. I've been popping in and out of the area for 2 months and in 6 visits they have never messed up my order. It's never super busy, usually only a handful of tables in the same main section are occupied. The environment is quiet, I've never noticed any music. The food comes out quickly and tastes great. The only complaint I have is that the entire staff, manager included, do not seem to understand the POS system. They all refuse to figure out how to scan your rewards app for rewards or to earn points. Today, while waiting for someone to ring me out, I looked at the screen and sure enough on the top right there is a "rewards lookup" button that I have never once seen them press. They will fake trying to scan your rewards and say the scanner doesn't work without pressing any buttons on the screen. If you pay attention, they're just trying to tender out the sale and do not bother with the rewards. I think the entire staff needs serious training on their POS system, not just with sales but entering orders. Every time I've been I've overheard the staff not knowing how to enter an order accurately so they just verbalize it to the kitchen.
We went to Fort Bragg Denny's first time we had Breakfast it was delicious,so we went back the next day and had the Hamburger and fries it was the best we had in a long time. But the Best of all was the waitress her name is Tammy she made you feel so welcomed and was so helpful, you wanted to go back. Thank you Tammy hope to see next time we visit. Michael and Nadine 😊♥️
Im here visiting on vacation and we absolutely love the food here and the waiter Armando c. Was so amazing! so nice and on top of everything 👏 👌 😍 the best ever!we truly enjoyed it thank you very much I definitely recommend it
After arriving in town close to 10 pm everyone was hungry and options were limited. When we arrived the place was pretty busy. The one waitress mentioned she had a full team earlier that night but no business so she let them all go. Then she was hit by a rush. I didn't catch her name but her service was wonderful! She was attentive and kind. Running around to keep up but with great professionalism. Both food and drinks came out in good timing. My daughter got plain pancakes and loved them. I tried the mac and brisket skillet. Both were hot and tasted great. The staff were all friendly to both customers and each other.
We tried the Veg Omlette, Cheese toast and Beyond Meat burger. The veggie omelet was the best option of the three. Quantity is more than enough to fill one fully. Our waitress Layesha was the best. She was so warm and friendly that makes us wanna come back to the place again. Definitely recommended ✅

We stopped for breakfast and had good food in a timely manner even though they were short staffed. Our waitress was really good and not only knew her menu but served with a confident smile the whole time. Mask was a necessity to enter at that time but it might change. There's a generous parking lot with handicapped spaces and a door that will accommodate a chair. Drop in and enjoy.
First the staff was super nice! I wish I knew our servers name (we were there May 23rd in the evening) she was very pleasant and efficient. I was surprised how much I liked the Whole Grain Chicken Alfredo bowl.Everyone one else had breakfast items and they were good.
The food was pretty good, although the bacon wasn't really what you would expect. It's very stiff and one big, majorly crunchy stick. The service was great and very quick. The atmosphere was also very nice.

What a change! There are not a lot of options for a budget friendly sit down late dinner in Fort Bragg. We stopped here 3 years ago on a trip and were not impressed, but like I said not a lot of options. This time it was so much better! The first trip they were out of almost everything we tried to order and the staff seemed irritated by our mere presence. This time the staff was friendly, helpful, and personable. The food was delicious. It was a great way to end a long day of traveling! I'm not sure if there has been a change in management or what, but whatever it is, it's working.
Great place to eat at Fort Bragg. Friendly service. But on a busy weekend morning, they were definitely under staffed. There was one server working so hard to accommodate everyone. He did a great job but I felt bad for him
Food was good. Service was very slow... Not enough waitresses or help. We waited over 15 minutes to get our order taken then at least 30 minutes or more to get our food.
Clean! Great service with smiling employees who were happy to help. I appreciated the manager taking a moment to clearly explain how the kids eat free on Tuesdays deal works. Each location has the liberty to add restrictions. At Fort Bragg, each adult had to order an entree (no drink) kids did have to order a drink and the kids meal was free!
Locally we have so many amazing food options that we forget about the 'chain' the old reliable Denny's. One thing I can say is that's a mistake. I got to take one of my besties to breakfast and gave her the choice to 'follow the yellow brick road' or Denny's... I was surprised at her choice but pleased nonetheless. Besides having people I know work there, they have had a significant upgrade in food quality especially in their burgers and chicken. As you can see my surrogate niece chose the chocolate chip pancakes which we very yummy, I may have liked them better than her AND I don't like sweets for breakfast. I chose the chicken and biscuits with country gravy. It was good and hearty, an enjoyable meal I almost couldn't finish. Another nice part too is our Denny's is very relaxing, I miss them being open 24 hrs especially with my insomnia, but got in and out in time to drop her at school and get to work on time. I know it’s weird to review chain stores here, but I wanna give credit where credit is due. Only in Fort Bragg The Pudding Creek Trestle
Food was good. Server was nice but very slow. Took forever to get our meals. And our steak we spent the most money on had way less portions than the meals that cost $5 less. Was a little disappointed but overall was okay. Definitely get the breakfast and you'll be satisfied.
We went on Christmas Day. They were understaffed and they took 40 mins to serve the food. Buffalo wings , oven baked Mac and cheese, Bourbon Chicken Skillet were all cold. The staff are friendly.
We ate there twice, excellent service both times, we tipped well. However twice on the second visit we found hair in OJ glass for our son and then in my wife's breakfast. Management was advised. No issues today, 07/12/25 and Tammy's service was above and beyond*
I usually say good things a out Dennys. But at this location I drove 30 minutes to eat. The were supposed to be open at 6am. No show till 7:30. Once inside service was incredibly slow. Hopefully just a bad day.
First off let me say the server was great the food was scrumptious. Okay, as we walked through the door the scent of wet dog greeted us. We was looking around to see where that smell was coming from. Not surprising there was a dog in the restaurant a place where persons eattttttt. That was the first problem the second is that the restaurant floors is dirty and needs to be cleaned.
We like Denny's, we like the food and the affordable prices. I know that we all are having a hard time with the pandemic but I think they should have more employees. It took a long time to get the food. There was a line of people waiting to be seated some people left. There were only two servers . In my opinion they should have an extra person to help around . I feel sorry for the servers they were trying to do their best clearing tables taking orders, seating people......
Veggie burger was great. We got seated promptly but then forgotten about before our order was taken. Our server expressed a sincere apology several times and made up for it. There was a miscommunication and we got our burgers with cheese which we asked to fix but then our server was dismissed. I can only presume it was because of the mistake so I felt bad about it. The guy that I assumed to be the manager or supervisor was loud and obnoxious and could treat the staff better or be a better role model for his employees.
The food was just okay this time. They also sat us loterally right by kitchen, so people were constantly right behind me with dishes and trays. Fries looked like we were served the last of them. Small bits. Food was a little cold. But our waitress was very sweet.
We went for my son's birthday. The hottest seemed a little new but super friendly, our waitress was awesome! She was really nice and on top of getting our food and checking back. She was attentive to all the tables in her area. I'm giving 3 stars because we were placed next to a window into the milkshake station(my son loved that) until one of the employees started yelling right there. We could hear and see everything. I understand customer service jobs are stressful but is there not a spot for your employees to hash it out? Or maybe don't sit kids next to your hash it out spot?
Denny's a popular choice for us when we travel. They are open long hours and do not need reservations. They are widely located and consistent. Menu choices are good comfort food, when one is tired and the wait is usually not too long. The service is usually fast and friendly, and Denny's does not often get it wrong. The parking area usually is well-lit and the restrooms are usually clean. All of this is 'usual' and that's why we return. This night they were short-staffed and while the food was delivered as we ordered it, we waited much too long to get the check. We ended up going to the register to ask for it. This is a problem that should be worked on by management and the person running the register should do that only and not have other duties. It is common to wait to pay the check since the register station has no attendant. It would be way too easy to walk out....
My girlfriend and I decided to have a well-deserved date night and settled on something simple Denny's it was upon sitting down we already knew what we wanted to order a simple salad and maybe a diet Coke we sat there for a good 15 minutes we weren't even asked what we would like to drink. with only us and two other groups on the side rear seating we figured it would be quick after waiting an additional 5 minutes we opted to try another restaurant. After a few years in the restaurant business it's just common courtesy to get drinks out quickly if you're slammed it's understandable but not under those conditions tonight.
We ate dinner here on 6/24/21. It was about 7:30PM when we checked in and it took about 5 minutes to be seated. When we were seated, the host said to be patient and they’ll be back to take our order as soon as possible. Uh-oh! Not a good sign. I looked around and saw a lot of other diners, seated before us, waiting for their orders. Our waiter was pleasant and polite when he took our order. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed as they were rushing to serve the diners. I could sense that there was not a lot of help. 45 minutes later, we were served our meal but no utensils or condiments. We flagged down any staff member to get what we needed. Our waiter apologized and said that they are in need of more cooks. When we finally got to eat, our food was cold. I don’t blame the servers as they were all very pleasant, polite and cheerful with the diners.
My experience here was not a pleasant one. The servers seemed to have much ego/attitude. They’d choose whom to serve based on their personal preference with no regard to a system or rules, as it seemed to me. When the place gets crowded during holidays, expect servers to ignore you entirely since more customers stress them out. You could imagine their facial expressions during the busy time. I gave it two stars instead of one because at least the restaurant was not dirty. I would not recommend it, especially during holidays.
Website said closed at 11/1130. Signs posted at location indicated new closing time was at 10. We arrived at 9:07pm and were told closed to dine-in, but take-out available... we were disappointed. It was explained they were short on staff. I believe I saw 2 servers and the evening manager. 2 tables were occupied. I've been a GM for a "chain" restaurant and this just seemed like the staff wanted to get out of there early. There were another 5 or 6 small groups that came in during our 20min wait for our order. The managers actions continued to demonstrate the desire to leave early. And in closing, the food was very good and completed in a timely manner, however, it was brought out and sat there for a minute. If we had not asked if it were ours, I don't know how long it could've remained there. And there were 3 staff right there. Oh... and the "Danny's" had been turned off at 9pm when we drove past the first time.
NO FRIENDLY WITH NEURODIVERGENT waitress surpassed friendliness to a point that bordered on harassment. I have autistic azgos and I like to eat in silence, that's why I went alone, but the waitress constantly interrupted my meal. He continually came over to ask irrelevant things like if I was enjoying my dessert (he asked the same thing twice). It's a restaurant chain, I'm not going to change the recipe if I'm not enjoying it. He asked me if I wanted more coffee and I told him no... a minute later he approached me again to ask if I was sure I didn't want coffee. I have food in my mouth... I don't want to talk to anyone and I think I made it clear by answering in monosyllables since I didn't want to be rude and I didn't want to explain that "I'm special and I don't like being talked to when I eat." I felt harassed, It makes you uncomfortable and you don't enjoy the food at all.
Sat here for 30 minutes & server never came. We finally gave up. Wouldn't have waited as long as we did but we walked there from our hotel & didn't want to walk back without eating. We finally did & my dinner ended up being a bag of chips & a coke from the vending machine. Worst Dennys I've ever been too.
Overall I would give Denny's a 3 star review. I have been to many and overall the food and service are good. This review is aimed at the Denny's in Fort Bragg, California. The food here was good, but our order was a train wreck. Food was forgotten, extra things put on, and long wait times. Our waitress Shelley was very kind, but the rest of the staff was terrible. It started with the staff arguing over who would seat our party of 9 because they didn't want to have to be the one to have to move the tables. When I told them they could just put us in booths that seemed to appease them... Then after our order was taken someone in the back washed up all the blenders and was ticked I had ordered a smoothie. I could see the back so I knew my order had gone in before they had washed the blenders. Then they argued they couldn't give us our free kids meals, 3 of them, and we had ordered 3 adult entrees, because everyone at the table hadn't ordered a drink aside from water... When has this ever been a rule? They took forever to get our ticket to us, and finally a staff member came over and rudely asked if we were ready to leave about a minute after receiving our ticket. Super rude staff, we will still go to Denny's, but never in Fort Bragg, California!
Employees locked up at 1023pm when they saw us arrive. Sign says open until 12am and still had customers inside. Please explain this customer service when you purposefully lock up as we walk up when you are supposed to be open until midnight....

This Dennys was supposed to be open at 6 am and at 6:16 this morning it was still dark and locked. What kind of a Dennys doesn’t open on time? I walked there from my nearby hotel so I had to settle for a gas station coffee and packaged muffin. Get it together or lose your franchise!
Worst service I have ever received. It was only 10pm. I came in to eat (I am 4 months pregnant ) and they refused to serve me. Their hours say they close at midnight. They acted like they are supposed to close at 10. Terrible service and the guy that works there made me feel threatened.
