We had Rachel as our waitress. We didn’t have reservations and they where pretty full, they had made room for us(there was 5 of us), we sat outside which was beautiful with the small waterfall barrels and beautiful lights on top that made the area beautiful and relaxing after such a long day! We first got served with crackers and house cheese, then we had our salads and rolls received with us in a timed manner, then a food shortly after! Rachel was very kind and Exceeded with everything we needed along the way. Food came out quickly and large quantities for the price! And it was AMAZING!! We all left very full and very happy with the place!

Quite an enjoyable experience. Lovely, historically rustic atmosphere. Apparently the site used to operate as a blacksmith. Food was excellent. We had the pork picatta, NY strip, cheesecake, and cream caramel. Great selection of food and drinks. Service was friendly and efficient. Very nice!

Our waitress was spot on refilling water. Drink refills etc. Our salads were a nice size & standard with the meal. Our appetizer portion of the seafood au gratin was delicious.

Service was awesome. Made reservations to secure a table which we got seated right away. To relax with drinks and crackers. We were not rushed to order and the atmosphere was perfect. Very calming and relaxing to enjoy your appetizers, dinner and conversation . Dinner was done well. Food was cooked to order and tasted very well. Definitely will enjoy to go back.

Very disappointed with my last experience. The Anvil signature sandwich had more roll than prime rib for the price. While the French fries had a good flavor and were not over fried, there were not many. The environment is great and the fireplace makes it cozy for family dining.

I ordered Beef Braciole and it was pretty good, very salty. My mom got the apple pork chops and I had a bite of her pork and it had a funny taste. She did not like it either. My sister ordered the prime rib medium and it was rare and unseasoned. We decided to give dessert a try anyway. I ordered the Cream Caramel and it was horrible. It tasted like sweet scrambled eggs! I told the waitress I did not like it and she asked if she could bring me something else. I went with the chocolate mousse. That was average. More like a pudding than a mousse. I was charged for the egg custard I didn’t like. Way overpriced for the quality. Maybe it was an “off” night, but we were left severely disappointed. We based our decision to come here off the great reviews. Our server was nice enough, and the ambiance is charming. Maybe we will give it another chance...

Our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of frustrating. My husband’s steak came out completely unseasoned, and my wings were both bland and burnt — not just disappointing, but inedible. The drinks were overpriced, and my first cocktail tasted like straight alcohol. It took 20 minutes just for the waitress to notice I was unhappy with it. We waited over an hour for our food, which ruined our dinner plans entirely. When it finally arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait. For an $80 bill, all we got was a salad, an appetizer, and a couple of drinks — none of which were enjoyable. This place failed us on every level: service, food quality, and value. We won’t be coming back.

Steak wasn't seasoned at all you can't rely on the grill to season your steak. Burnt boneless wings couldn't eat them they were so hard.
