I had such a great experience here! The service was amazing—our waitress Phoenix was super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a nice balance of lively energy and comfort. The food came out quickly, tasted fresh, and everything was presented beautifully. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for great food and a positive vibe!

I ordered wings and they were delicious. Beer was cold. Heather was great! She had perfect timing every time I was about ready for another beer and she brought fresh water for my dog whenever he needed more. Overall a great place to sit on the patio and enjoy a football game.

I wasn’t even here to eat, I was just walking my dog down the strip, but the team at the front made such an impression that I had to leave a review. Valerie, Carly, Mary, and Heather were absolutely wonderful! They welcomed me like family, chatted with me for a good 20 minutes, and gave so much love to my dog (who couldn’t get enough of them). If their hospitality at the door is this great, I can only imagine how good the experience inside must be!

She not only remembers names, but stories, preferences, and always asks how your day was with sincere interest. She has an incredible talent for making everyone feel like the most important person in the room. I’ve seen her go the extra mile more times than I can count, whether it's checking in on how you’re doing, or offering a thoughtful recommendation, her kindness and genuine spirit always hits the mark. She probably deserves a Nobel Peace Prize but this review will have to do for now.

My mom and I had a great experience here. The food was amazing , our waitress was super attentive. Stopped at American Social in Fort Lauderdale based on a friend's recommendation - and it did not disappoint!!! Business lunch without the typical crowd. The experience was a thrill from the moment we walked in!!! Now I know what my friend meant when he said American Social is the most popular spot every year. First, it's in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Second, but most important, the atmosphere and service are beyond your best expectations. I went to the bar to get my Malibu and Coke, but the bartender, Alyssa, said, "No, try this." She made me a cocktail that's not on the menu and I was ordering my second before the first was done. Kinda like she knew me my whole life and made a drink up just for me!!! Alyssa and our waiter had impeccable habits and their attention to even the most minute detail was exemplary - and much appreciated. So, my little "let's try this spot" for a work lunch was my top star for the week!!! I'm going back when I can spend more time there and enjoy the ambience, food and drinks more intently. I most definitely recommend American Social in Fort Lauderdale. I gave it 5 stars for a reason...

OMG... we had an amazing experience, the food was good we were a table of 12 and so pleased with our service and speed the food and dri ks were delivered. Our server Naya, added that special touch of hospitality that made us all feel welcomed and appreciated, unlike other places that are busy and make u feel like they just want to get done with you. I went into American Social last weekend for the first time and I've always had my reservations because it is always so packed. Let me tell you, I understand why now. I almost didn’t notice her at first—but Alyssa is the funniest bartender I've ever met. If you’d asked me during my first five minutes there, I might have guessed she was just there to pour drinks and keep to herself. Boy, was I wrong. Once she warmed up—and it didn’t take long—this bartender completely stole the show. Her dry, sharp wit and hilarious sarcasm had our whole group laughing all night. She wasn’t just mixing drinks; she was delivering punchlines with a straight face that made them even funnier. What started as a simple order turned into some of the best banter I’ve had at a bar. Her sarcasm was never mean-spirited—it was clever, quick, and genuinely hilarious. By the end of the night, we were ordering rounds just for the chance to banter with her a little more. We will absolutely be back—Alyssa is the best ever.

American Social – Las Olas (Brunch) Fantastic brunch experience. Heather H was attentive, upbeat, and checked in just the right amount. Her enthusiasm for the menu made ordering easy, and her Dry January mocktail suggestion was spot on. The Green Goddess Caesar wrap and eggs benedict were great, but the goat cheese croquettes absolutely stole the show. A must-order to start any meal.

Incredible atmosphere in there the DJ did a great job and it was so so busy if you’re looking for a popping bar on Sunday night of all nights like it was great it was incredibly popping off. The waitress was wonderful.

Food was on point. There is a brunch menu that differed from what we saw online but $4 Mimosas you can’t beat. We ordered apps. Main courses and there’s nothing that wasn’t yummy! Thoroughly enjoyed our food and the staff was spot on with their recommendations! If ever back in the area we will return and that’s saying a lot bc I’m picky and boujee with my expectations!

What a great experience from a newer place in fort Lauderdale. It's a fun upbeat mix that didn't distract from our business meeting. The food was delicious and served hot. Phoenix was our server and she did a great job being professional and attentive yet not pushy. Try the chicken wings, I know you can get them everywhere but these were especially good! The salad bowls are especially good too. Poke bowl especially! You can't beat the extensive cocktail list (and any of their cocktails can be made mocktail!) What an incredible experience! My friends and I decided to check out this spot on a bustling Friday night in downtown Fort Lauderdale, and we were absolutely blown away. First, the aesthetic. The vibe is perfectly chic yet with so much energy. From the stylish, dimly lit interior with its modern art deco touches to the gorgeous outdoor patio that lets you soak in the vibrant downtown Las Olas energy, the atmosphere is top-tier. It's the kind of place that feels both upscale and welcoming. All that said, this review is really for our bartender, Alyssa (I believe that was her name—brunette with incredible energy!). She was the absolute star of the show. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the extensive craft cocktail menu, but she also had the warmest, most engaging personality. She made fantastic recommendations, checked on us just the right amount, and crafted some of the most delicious and visually stunning cocktails I've had. Her skill and hospitality truly elevated our entire night. And we can't forget the food! We ordered a few small plates to share, and every single one was a hit. What would you like to drink? And lol and behold I got a drink and wouldn't let her leave without my order. Great part... drinks and food was excellent!! I totally enjoyed all the food I brought home food and warmed up and the were great mahi-mahi sliders. Make sure you damped the paper towel before you place it in the microwave! Great experience at AmSo on Las Olas! This was actually my first time sitting down to eat, and it was great! We got to enjoy their Happy Hour menu and their Monday Burger Soecial. I definitely recommend their Smash Burger, very tasty. Happy Hour offered a nice selection of bites and libations. I recommend the 5th&Lavender, very refreshing, or the Espresso Martini with Respasado. The staff were all very friendly, and our service was great with Phoenix. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for watching the Las Olas sights.

I've been craving a burger for days. Couple of other spots local to the area didn't fix the crave. Their smash Burger was amazing. Pretzel bread, creamy sauteed onions, cheese everywhere, smashed to perfection. Crave fixed. I ordered Togo, the young lady at the hostess desk was training, she was sweet as pie. The manager was engaged, treated me like I'm there all the time with his welcoming vibe. It's my second time ever. Keep doing what you're doing, it's no wonder you're always packed. Side note, try the Carolina Chicken Sandwich too.

My friend and I went for brunch today and had such a wonderful time! The staff were very friendly, the food was so tasty and the ambiance was very relaxing. Heather was a really great server and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our first time trying American Social, we made a reservation totally forgetting that it was St. Patty's Day and we were thankful, we had a 1045 reservation and got there about 1035, and they had an hour and a half wait list. We were sat right away and Katie our server came over right seat away. We started out with the loaded guacamole and soft pretzels with beer cheese. The loaded guacamole had plenty of filling, corn, bacon, cheese and black beans. It hit every taste bud correctly. The soft pretzels were warm, crusty and soft. Served with a creamy warm beer cheese it was the perfect dip. We then split the BLAT Chicken sandwiche and we were so happy we did. It was huge! Served fresh and juicy the chicken was cooked to perfection with avacado, a sunny side up egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onions. On a softly toasted brioche bun and with a hot side of french fries. A great brunch. Will love to come back and try for dinner.

I had a work-related social/function here as we hosted prospective students and alumni for the Caribbean med school I work for. My events colleague worked with Jasmine at American Social regarding the venue and the catering. On the night of Joey was our main server and food-bringer. Loved her energy and enthusiasm. TJ and Addison opened, as well as Jose was there for closing. The catering was absolutely delicious — from the spinach dip appetizers to the protein selections, vegetables and tasty donut rolls for dessert. Kudos to the cooking staff for doing an excellent job. I would say the atmosphere next door isn’t the best because it’s a bar area. Plus downtown Fort Lauderdale so had to pay for parking.

We went here because it was one of the few places that were open at 12:30am on a Saturday. It becomes sort of a club inside which we were not aware of. We sat outside as a group of 4 and waited a while for our waitress to come. The music was also pretty bad with bad transitions, not sure how there were so many people inside. Wouldn’t come back at that time again. Food was pretty good

I came to American social on a company event, the bartenders were not excited or welcoming! Long wait to request a drink, and every time we requested a drink the bartender SAM rolled her eyes. I asked her, what time kitchen closes and she said, kitchen closed! ( never got the update that kitchen closes or closed and when I mentioned it, she did not care to take care of me food wise ) the bartender SAM made no accommodations or take care of us in any kind of way. 🤘🏼

Was super excited to try American Social, and was happy with the bar environment, relaxing waiting for our table. From there, things went from fine, to bad, to laughingly inept. First, the waitress never brought plates or silverware. After taking a round of drinks and apps, and several trips to the table, we had to get our own from the stand. Next, the water we asked for multiple times never came - ok, whatever. Then one of our party had to wait 15 minutes for a chicken caesar wrap and side salad after everyone else's food had come out - clearly the waitress forgot to put it in. Then, the salad came out, all wrong. Really wasn't a complicated salad (no onions). After waiting for another beer and asking multiple times, it never came, total JV league service. Then, after we asked for the bill, the beer was included. Wow, alright. We asked for it to be taken off - the waitress took the POS system back, jiggled it around and said it was ok. LOL, she never took it off! thought that her messing it around would distract us and be cool? I said whatever, and paid, because clearly this role was beyond her. Then, she stated that she'd get the beer (ahh, we were paid & leaving?) The food was decent and the atmosphere was good, but myy goooosh, some of the wait staff needs to review their job description.

Nice place and a really really lovely and polite waitress with excellent service (10/10). A good experience only to be made bad by quite a rude other male employee who started to make bad eyes at our children sitting/standing on flat terrace surface. Quite ok to tell please don't do that but continued "If I have to tell you again you can leave the place" is another thing and really made the visit feel bad in the end. There are more polite ways to say things to customer + a smile even would have been nice. Would have left a bigger tip otherwise. Shame
