Wonderful restaurant that has great fancy cocktails and really good seafood and steak. Was refreshing to hear live music in the background and we were far enough away that it wasn't too loud. Service was great too the waiter had good recommendations. The sea bass and lobster mashed potatoes was excellent. I would not think this was a "chain" restaurant and I would not hesitate to come back when visiting town again

Went for my wife’s birthday. Everything was excellent. We were stuffed and couldn’t stop eating. The seafood was absolutely fresh. The steak was seasoned and grilled to perfection. Everything was perfectly flavorful. The server was attentive and very kind. I can only say good things about this spot and can’t wait to go back.

I highly recommend coming here. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and I was blown away. My server was Jose, And let me just tell you his service was nothing short of amazingly excellent. I found myself many times during the meal service saying to myself that I am incredibly impressed. Jose was so knowledgeable and friendly and attentive. It has been a really long time since I’ve had service this good. The food also was amazing. My steak was cooked a perfect perfection, The crab fried rice was to die for, And the jumbo shrimp Literally knocked my socks off. I swear I’m not exaggerating, Go find out for yourself!

I absolutely love Eddie V’s...but this review isn’t about the food or the atmosphere. It’s about the best server/host I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting: Julian. If I could start a petition for Eddie V’s corporate team to have Julian train every single staff member on how to deliver the experience he gave us last night, I’m confident I’d collect hundreds, if not thousands, of signatures. Julian went above and beyond our expectations. He explained everything with such passion and detail that we couldn’t say no to any of his recommendations. His service truly elevated our entire evening. To management: if you’re reading this, consider yourselves incredibly lucky to have someone like Julian on your team. I genuinely hope you recognize what a gem he is—he’s absolutely amazing!

We made reservations for Eddie Vs for our 10 year anniversary celebration. This experience did not disappoint! The meal was excellent and we topped it with the bananas foster cake dessert flambayed table side! Wow! I would be remiss if I didn't mention Sethji our waiter. He was knowledgeable and attentive! JULIAN IS TOP NOTCH SUPERB!!! I have NEVER received service like I have with Julian. So friendly, knowledgeable, and he made my first experience at EV’s the best. Highly recommend the crab cake and scallops. He suggested a very delicious wine. And the music, ambiance, and cleanliness 👍🏽👍🏽. If you’re in the Ft. Had a private room for pre-wedding family dinner. Happy hour on our rooms outside patio was great with every cocktail imaginable readily available. The dining room easily accommodated our large family. The food from appetizers, main courses and deserts were beyond amazing in taste and quality. The wait staff was extremely professional, attending to our every request. The valet parking was very quick with less than a than 5 minute wait. Overall Eddie V's staff made this important time for our grandson and fiancée a memorable evening for our whole family.

We recently hosted a private surprise dinner party for 52 guests at Eddie V’s - FLL for my husband’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The service was truly five-star, and the entire evening exceeded our expectations. A huge thank you to Laura and Haley for their outstanding coordination — they were knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. Every detail was handled with such care, from the menu planning to the flawless execution the night of the event. Our guests were impressed, my husband was genuinely surprised, and the atmosphere, food, and service were all exceptional. This celebration was truly memorable thanks to the amazing team at Eddie V’s -FLL. I highly recommend them for any special occasion!

Eddie Vs is one of my favorites and I’m not typically a chain restaurant person, but the quality here is unmatched. I wanted to take time to write a review because the service I received from Lori last night was exceptional. I’m very appreciative of her service and kindness! Had an amazing dinner here the other night celebrating my birthday and the service by Veronika was excellent. She went above and beyond. The crab cake and lamb shops were the best I’ve had. Definitely going back here.

My friend and I stopped by Eddie V’s for drinks and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was upscale but still welcoming. I especially want to shout out the two hostesses, Emma and Kaitlyn. From the moment we walked in, they were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and set the tone for the night. It’s always noticeable when the front of house staff goes beyond and they definitely did. Their positive energy and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed. Emma recommended the Hope Diamond and it is definitely a new favorite drink! The live band was also a great addition and set a beautiful ambience for the restaurant without being too loud. It was great. We will definitely return in the near future!

I was amazed with the exceptional service we received, it truly shows what a establishment they truly are; it’s not only that they work with kindness and respect but with joy to make our experience infinitely better. I was truly amazed as they left a handwritten letter addressing us. It was very thoughtful and personal When you first enter, you experience this subtle jazz music playing in the background by the live band; but you also hear laughter and chatter of people genuinely enjoying themselves. This restaurant also has an impressive wine collection that’s on display as you walk by, I understand why they have an accolade for its wine program as it is impressive. I personally loved the food; the creamy black truffle mashed potatoes paired perfectly with the steak and the richness of the caviar complimented its savoriness. The dessert was fantastic; it’s one of the greatest crème brûlée I have had. I truly enjoyed my time at this restaurant, but I would suggest incorporating more vegetarian options; my father did enjoy the gnocchi but would prefer a variety of dishes to choose from. The restaurant embodies the spirit of Ft. Lauderdale—modern and vibrant, yet with a timeless, classic feel that reflects the area perfectly. I heavily suggest dining at this establishment, my recommendation is due to the stellar service, astonishing food, and an excellent experience.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and it was a great choice. We were treated very well with a decorated table, a free dessert, and a nice card from the restaurant. The appetizers were the star of the show! We got the crab cake, beef tartar, and we each got the lobster bisque. These were our favorite items of our entire vacation!! Very fresh and delightful. We also got the sea bass and scallops which were also quite delicious- although I will say the sweet potato puree was a touch too sweet for my liking with rich scallops. Nonetheless, very tasty. Great cocktails as well and fantastic service!

The event staff here is phenomenal! Special shout out to Allison & Aga who were the head waitresses for a wedding I did some work for and they paid such close attention to detail and really made the decor design that was provided by Bombas Events work cohesively with the private room decor. Absolutely stellar! Would absolutely love to work with them again ! Also, Kaitlyn who was head of the hostess stand , what an amazing gem. Honestly, Eddie V's is so so lucky to have such amazing women working for them. I didn't care for the male manager - he seemed disinterested and we had to ask multiple times for a table for the wedding cake. I would absolutely come do an event here again as long as I got to work with Allison, Aga, and Kaitlyn again - they are the real stars of the show!

Shoutout to Madison at Eddie V’s 10/10 experience last night! From the moment we sat down, she was amazing. The lemon drops she made were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had perfectly balanced and smooth. We ordered steaks, crab fried rice, and appetizers, and everything was absolutely delicious. Not only was Madison fantastic, but Ashely and the entire team was exceptional. Every server who brought out food was warm, professional, and attentive. The crab rice was just perfect, with the chops. We also ordered the Mac and cheese it great as well. The portions were huge and true shareable.

An early Sunday dinner turned out to be a great experience. Our server Robyn was amazing and made us feel like we had hit the jackpot for choosing Eddie V's. She was right. She was open to our questions as well as offering recommendations and even accommodating us when we preferred to eat inside as we didn't know there would be live music (jazz style). We enjoyed her cocktail recommendation as well and dessert (banana foster butter cake) was top tier. We will be coming back!

It was so fresh and tasty, I almost bit my finger off. We followed it up with the steak and lobster dinner and the lobster creamy mash potato. While the food was delish, flavorful, and just plain ole good, my waitress Aga was a jewel. She was very attentive and just awesome all around. We truly appreciated her kindness during our visit. More importantly, Alev the manager was super helpful and was personable and that spoke volume to us. That positively sealed the deal for us. The hospitality was top notch and it was a great experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an awesome time. It was our pleasure to dine at Eddie V’s and it won’t be our last time!

This was my wife’s and my first time visiting, and we chose to celebrate the Valentine’s Day weekend on February 15th. From the moment we arrived, our experience was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere, the music, and the overall vibe were exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming, which made the evening even more special. Our waiter, Julien, was phenomenal. He was personable, enthusiastic, and had such a genuine presence in the way he took care of us. His attentiveness and energy truly elevated our dining experience. The food was outstanding. We ordered the ribeye steak, South African lobster, truffle macaroni and cheese, crab fried rice, crab cakes, and Wagyu dumplings — and every single dish exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back, and I’ve already started recommending this restaurant to my coworkers. It was truly a 15 out of 10 experience!

Last night I hosted a surprise birthday party for my husband with 24 guests. I had the private room with the terrace. The evening was spectacular. The event planner Laura Friel was an absolute pleasure to work with and she did everything to make sure that our night was perfect....and it was! The food, service and commitment to excellence was 5 star! Our server Julian was amazing! We could not have asked for better service! He even remembered most of our guest's names! He orchestrated the evening perfectly. I didn't have to think about anything. He was always one step ahead! He was assisted by Dennise who was also really good. All in all, I could not have asked for anything better! If you are looking for a venue for a well organized, classy, perfect event, this is where you should go! 10 out of 10!

Edie V’s positions itself as an elegant fine-dining chain with a seafood & steak menu, with a cocktail lounge. It is definitely elegant and upscale, with a good menu selection. I have tried the dinner menu and happy hour at the bar. The happy hour menu is a much better choice than the dinner menu as most of the happy hour items are very good. The dinner menu items are hit and miss though. The maine lobster bisque is a disappointment for such a high end restaurant, being a bit more on the watery side. The Chilean Seabass was light and tasty, as to be expected and the Iceberg Wedge Salad was pretty good. However, the Maine Lobster Tacos look better than they taste. Definitely a place where you go more for the atmosphere, than the food.

We went to Eddie V’s Prime in Las Olasas a walk in, and honestly, the atmosphere and service were top-notch. The place has that classy, but comfortable vibe and perfect for a date night or a nice evening out. We ordered the lobster tacos, filet mignon Oscar style (with lump crab), lamb chops, and truffle mac and cheese. The lobster tacos were definitely the highlight (super flavorful and perfectly cooked). The rest of the meal, though, felt a bit underwhelming. Maybe it was just an off night, or maybe we weren’t feeling our best that evening, but it didn’t quite hit the mark like we expected. Still, with how great the service and ambiance were, I think we’ll give it another shot. It definitely has potential to be one of those spots that wins you over on the second visit.

But don’t worry: everyone can find something for themselves ~ because their Menu offers wide selection of options! We came here with our friends ~ this restaurant was their choice of a place to celebrate a birthday. They made a reservation by phone in advance and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. It was April 15th, Tuesday evening & restaurant looked moderately busy. Our server was kind and polite, but we were waiting for our drinks little longer than usual ~ looked like he was busy attending other tables. We were waiting for our food too ~ main course took little longer than usual & I cannot really find any reasonable excuse for that ~ because restaurant was not very busy at that time. I know that fine dining restaurants do have a longer wait time between appetizers and main dish, but this wasn’t that. My Crab Cake was delicious & others enjoyed their food too! We were in a good mood, music wasn’t too loud & we enjoyed our evening. I recommend visiting this restaurant & I am looking forward to re-visit it because I was expecting exceptional experience based on recommendations and reviews.

REVIEW UPDATE We made reservations and arrived early, but to our dismay, we were seated right in front of the bathroom. When we asked to be moved to another available table, we were made to wait unnecessarily. Frustrated by the lack of responsiveness, we approached the front desk to inquire about the delay, only to be told they would get back to us. Eventually, the manager came over, and we reiterated our request to be seated at the open table by the window. He informed us that it was reserved, but I pointed out that we also had a reservation and the other party hadn't arrived yet. It was frustrating to hear that the reservation for that table (table 9) was made specifically through the OpenTable app. This situation is completely unimaginable. We felt severely disrespected and believe we were treated unfairly because of our race. ======================= Next week marks our 18th wedding anniversary. However, it falls on a weekday. Since we didn't want to celebrate late, we decided to plan the celebration a week early. We arrived on a chilly Saturday evening. I booked our reservation two weeks prior and requested a booth for our dinner. I also mentioned that this is a special evening as my wife and I are celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary, and I couldn't wait for what's about to happen. We arrived ahead of our reservation to have a cocktail at the bar. We both had their spicy margarita, and it was delicious. We then were led to our table. The management had already set our table with celebratory decorations and a greeting card on the table. It was very thoughtful of them. My wife had already researched their menu, and we knew what we wanted. For an appetizer, we went with the Yellowtail Sashimi. The fish tasted fresh and delicious. I asked for wasabi on the side, but I barely use it. For the entree, I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. The fish was steamed nicely and cooked well. My wife went with the twin lobster. I had a bite and thought it was great. We also ordered Crab Fried Rice as a side dish. We also received a complimentary dessert for the evening. Overall, the entire dining experience was excellent.
