This place is an anime lover's dream!! The food we had was excellent! We visited on a Tuesday afternoon, and I ordered the Basic Duo Roll Lunch Special (your choice of two basic rolls for $10) and picked the Spicy Tuna Roll and Spicy Kani Roll. I also added the Japanese Lover Roll. My boyfriend had the Kao Soi Ramen with beef bulgogi as his protein. Both of our servers were fast and attentive, and I even enjoyed the music. They played hit after hit!
Absolutely amazing spot — easily one of the best Asian restaurants in Florida. The beef bao bun is the best I’ve ever had, a must-try! The noodles were also outstanding and full of flavor. We also tried the spicy fried pork with eggs (can’t remember the exact name), and it was delicious. The atmosphere is great, with lots of fun anime references, and the staff is friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive. Highly recommended!
Love this place from top to bottom, from service to food it can’t be beat. My servers are always on point and the bar always serve sailor moon sticks with each cocktail. My sister and I try to stop by once a week and please try the red curry katsu. Parking is fine and free and they do have outdoor seating.
Kubo is an amazing Asian fusion restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We ordered different plates to share. Panang curry is delicious, Pad Thai and chicken fried rice too. Nice atmosphere anime-inspired. Great food! Highly recommended!
This is a super cute restaurant! I love the decor and the staff was attentive, smiling and friendly. I enjoyed the Thai chili wings, nice and crispy. The fried rice was also perfectly seasoned and delicious. My only disappointment was the steamed chicken gyoza. The filling had no flavor at all and they came out cold. But everything else was good, I would come back and try a few other items on the menu as they have a lot of tasty options!
This place is such a vibe. So many anime trinkets but the food here is really the star of the show starting with the Soft Shell Crab baos. Prosthetic best one I’ve had. We also got some lumpia and satays and of course cocktails which were fabulous. Also get one of their noodle dishes. I forgot what my friend ordered but it super tasty and a little spicy. This place is very popular and it’s been around for a long time. Good food and amazing service plus there’s plenty of parking.
We ordered the Dumplings , Gyoza, and The Honeymoon Special Roll! When I tell you the Best, I mean The Best! We sat at The Bar to watch Atlanta Falcon's Beat The LA Rams! Angela was our waitress, she was Very Friendly, fast and efficient! Matter of fact it was so good we ate there back to back nights!
Kubo was highly recommended by two crew mates. Since I was in the area for training for a couple days I decided to see what the hype was about. The food, atmosphere, and service were so great I ended up having 3 meals there in 2 days. Thursday night wasn’t a full house so I decided to study while enjoying dinner and wasn’t rushed out by the staff. Friday night was very busy and I still received excellent service. I strongly recommend Kubo and trying something new each time. They are definitely at the top of my lunch and dinner option lists.
We had a great dinner at Kubo! The food portions are big, service is fast, and everything is flavorful. My top picks were the sizzling pork ear—crispy and full of flavor—and the crispy duck, with perfectly crunchy skin and tender meat inside. The atmosphere is lively and casual, with fun comic/manga elements in the décor that make the space unique and memorable. Staff were friendly and helpful even during a busy dinner rush. Overall, it’s a fun place to enjoy Asian fusion dishes with family and friends. We’ll definitely be back!
It was past 10 o'clock that night and there were still many customers in the restaurant. We waited for 10 minutes before someone arranged for us to take our order. Ordered two bowls of Japanese ramen The soup base is particularly rich. I personally feel that the amount of seasoning used is too much. Service attitude is relatively lazy No expected satisfaction But still charge 18% tip I feel like I won't go there again next time.
Great and very nice atmostphere. All staff are friendly and taking good care. Food are very good. I personally love non-alcohol drink Majito lynchee prepare by Angelica ❣️🫶🏻
What a gem. Before we even sat down Angela the bartender greeted us w a smile. She made us some amazing cocktails and suggested a bunch of great things to eat. She also sang karaoke. The place is cool and chill. Very fun and well worth checking out. We will def go back.
Great spot. Only spot we found that was opened until midnight with full kitchen that was not fast food. Service was great! Great sushi ans sashimi options. Also had a nice selection of both ramen and other soups.
Truly a great late night Asian spot in Fort Lauderdale, have been going back for years now and love taking people here. Local recommended! My favorites: – Tom Yum – lumpia – beef bulgogi – spider roll I rarely deviate from my favorites but I know there's a lot more on the menu that's also delicious!
Solid sushi and asian “fusion” - it’s a mix of Korean, Thai and Japanese dishes along with fantastic sushi. Highly recommend. Prices are reasonable, sushi boat is around $60.00 for two
In Fort Lauderdale for training my Uber driver recommended Kubo (he is one of the Chefs). My food was delicious. No wait for seating, spring rolls were fresh and hot and the Pancit had healthy pieces of chicken. I was stuffed. Definitely recommend.
The food we had was just excellent. Mine consisted of sashimi (big pieces, nice variety and plenty of it) over a plate of sushi rice. My wife had a Philippine dish with crispy adobo pork. The service was super fast and attentive. The only negative, other than some reconstruction in the bar area going on, was the awful and very loud club music. It’s not a club, it’s a restaurant. Turn down the volume and maybe get some actual music played by musicians?

Food is delicious (I was sad when they closed their Coral Springs location) but their food is always so good. Service was friendly but could have been a bit more attentive. The atmosphere is casual and they place dance music (at least on weekends) which makes for a trendy vibe.
We had Rangoons and 2 rolls and then closed it out with the Lava Thai Donut. The rangoons are smaller than what we are used to seeing but stuffed more full, so, less wonton, more cream cheese. Very tasty. We had a green dragon and an orange dragon; both excellent rolls and very good size. Most places we order 3 rolls and in this case I'm glad we didn't, that would have been too much. The Lava Thai Donut was way more dessert than we anticipated. It's 8 pieces covered in chocolatey goodness and some whipped cream.
Food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. As much as we love their sushi, this spot has become a must-visit for us at least once a month. The rolls are always perfectly made, the fish tastes incredibly fresh, and the menu has plenty of creative options to try each visit. The drinks are well-crafted, and the staff is always friendly and attentive, which really adds to the experience. Consistently great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere — definitely one of our favorite go-to spots!
So yummy! Went there for lunch and had their Miami Heat roll and Penang Curry. The spice levels were exactly what I ordered and the food was some of the best I’ve had in that area for lunch. I love how they add pineapple to the curry, not many places make it like this. I will definitely be back for more!
Came here for Valentine’s Day and very happy I did! Not only does it have anime theme decor the food was great and the drinks were delicious! I had the sailor moon, red kiss, and midnight blood. For appetizer we had the crab Rangoon for entree I had super Saiyan roll. 10/10 recommend everything I had. Everything was very good and I will definitely return!
This place is truly a fusion of Asian food. Filipino (that's what brought us in), Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese etc. The lumpia - crunchy and delicious. Perfectly fried. The beef bulgogi bao buns were so good. The sigsig was delicious. The lechon was perfect. Some of the drinks are strong. For any of the anime lovers, there's nods to that in the decorations all over. The music is great. Good was a little slow to come out but worth the wait.
Sooo freaking good!!! Went here and decided to try a bit of everything, got the honeymoon sushi roll, beef bao buns, shrimp lo mein, & korean bbq dish. 10/10 across the board! Free parking, great service, and very relaxed vibes. Side note; make sure you bring cash to get a 4% discount !!!
Loved it before - LOVE it now. They did a fantastic job on the redesign. We haven’t been in since they re-opened but glad we stopped in tonight. Spring break and and Friedan lol, it was packed, but we sat at the bar. As always great food and great drinks! Staff works SO hard and always friendly - we love this place.
KUBO has been on my list of places to check out for a while and what luck we had. We ended up coming the day after their opening of the new location. Their menu has a bit of everything on it. A real fusion of Asian dishes. Their fried rice is on par with my other favorite restaurant Thai spice and since KUBO is closer to me......... I've been back a few times and haven't even taken pics of all the different foods we have had. I'm hooked on the Ramen. Suggestions I have for them. ✅Make sure their servers understand what customers are ordering. Everytime we have been there dishes didn't come out as they were forgotten. And it wasn't just our table. ✅Appetizers come out first not after main dish. Again EVERYTIME they either came out with main or after main. Servers I know is a problem industry wide but they have to ensure the servers are following some kind of procuders and don't just assume they know. Will be back though this week. 😉
A surprisingly very good Asian Fusion restaurant!! It’s a great combination of Filipino, Thai, Japanese and Korean food!! Highly recommended for you to try this place!! I love my pork adobo, orange ribs, Thai chicken soup and beef bulgogi!! 😊👍👍 We went home with a happy tummy!!
The halo-halo is good and overflowing (literally), the adobo in a bun is surprisingly good as well but the ramen is only okayish. I went here with my kids and they enjoyed the decoration with all the anime posters everywhere. The service is a bit slow as I think we went during the peak hour and the food are decently priced. I’d be back again for the halo-halo for sure.
Amazing restaurant with authentic flavors! Only had Thai, which was delicious, but the sushi that others had looked very good! I will be coming back for their sushi. Their restaurant has a funky comic theme and they are expanding. The only thing I wish is that they had either the regular drunken noodles or pad see ew.
Decided to come here as the other place we intended had an hour wait. We were able to be seated quite quickly even though it was very full. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for and the service was amazing. This all paled in comparison to the food. The wagyu baos, the fried rice, the takoyaki, everything was amazing. And to top it off, our server Angela was an absolute delight.
Though this place serves Filipino food and sushi, I think go here for their Thai food. They make the best pad kra pao for in the Fort Lauderdale area. It’s one of the places where you can order this dish with ground beef. The dish is spicy. My other favorite that they serve is Khao Soi. Lasty they do serve a mean Chinese BBQ pork fried rice. For dessert you have to try their croffles! It is so delicious!
Went to this restaurant today! And they were extremely pleased. The food is very tasty, the service is excellent (I note the waiter Oui - thanks for the excellent service, you are the best!!!). The food was cooked in minutes, hot and delicious. The beef meat was very soft and tasty!!! I advise everyone to visit this restaurant! Thank you very much KUBO - you are the best in your business!!!
We had a great first experience at Kubo. Everything was delicious, especially the Signature Ramen, Pad Thai and Kao Soi Ramen. Their signature cocktails were also yummy. But what impressed me the most was the service. Pete was very attentive to not just the adults but the kids. He made sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely come back again!
Really good food I got a to go order we did 2 fried chicken wings, a teriyaki chicken, a kubo fried rice, crab wontons, and pork eggrolls , 3 boba drinks which all came out to $114 dollars. 4 adults ate so good serving sizes.. Overall really tasty and fresh
This is the second time I came here this week. I tried it first on Wednesday and had to bring my best friend today. It was absolutely the best sushi I’ve had in forever. It was so good. The Mexican roll is seriously the only roll I’m ordering from now on. It was so good and the JB roll was on point. My new go to sushi spot. Thank you KUBO for the amazing lunch.
Been coming here for two years now. The food is always consistent. I've tried many different dishes over the years. The place always has a vibe, and Angela is the best server ever.
We love going here! We try to make it at least a couple times a month. (The pics aren’t from a single visit). The Kubo Fried Rice is one of our go-to favorites. And just about anything on their sushi list is delicious. Oh, and don’t forget to try their fried Oreos! The atmosphere is chill w/ good music. It’s a smaller restaurant with anime on the walls, so cool
Great atmosphere, delicious food, wonderful presentation, friendly staff, great drinks!!! You must dine in if in the Fort Lauderdale area.!!! Spicy miso soup, crab rangoon, wings in spicy Thai chili sauce, Kai soil Ramen bowl, Volcano roll, and Mama mia roll Everything was perfect!!!
Found this place on a whim on our first night in Florida coming from the airport late at night and was so surprised at how amazing the food was. Returned again for my birthday two days later and enjoyed their delicious poke bowl, sushi, and dumplings. Service was also very fast and friendly. Hope to come again and try more food!
If your an Anime/Manga fan this is a must go to! If you are looking for a good place to eat YOU MUST GO HERE!! The food is amazing!!! We had their gyoza, wings and pork skewers for starters. Then we had tuna lovers roll, California roll, salmon California roll and their udon noodles. Some of the best sushi we have had! Wife enjoyed the Japanese Kicks drink....do not pass it up if you like a good cocktail!
This became quickly our favorite Asian fusion restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. The food selection and quality is outstanding. Great flavor and perfect potion sizes. We tried several of their unique cocktails - all of them are 5 stars. Service was always very good and friendly. Highly recommended.
Atmosphere and enviroment was amazing. All staffs are very friendly and offer amazing service. Very impressed by Angelica ( or Angela) beauitful, lovely, friendly and recommend very delecious Mojito lynchee ( non-Alchol ). Austin and tim very nice and friendly guys. Provide us greate service. Thank you 🙏
Asian food has never really been on my radar; however, this Asian Fusion restaurant has me thinking differently. I had an awesome lunch at Kubo. The menu is extensive and perhaps a bit overwhelming if you’re not familiar with the dishes. For starters I got the vegetable springs rolls which were hot and crispy, then the ginger sauce entree with tofu, which was full of flavor. This is a fairly large restaurant with a full bar too. I saw some interesting looking drinks on the menu and since they’re open late (until midnight) I will be coming back for that experience. Overall, I left with a great first impression.
A great surprise at this Asian food restaurant. Taki prepared drinks for everyone, one better than the other. The food was made with fresh products and very good quality. We ordered a great variety of dishes and everything was spectacular. They welcomed us and served us impeccably even though we arrived half an hour before they closed. The owners came to the table to check that everything was okay and to talk to us for a while. A great option for Asian food in Fort Lauderdale.
This is really top notch food with great variety for the price. The wait staff remembers you and treats you awesome. This is a real go to for us on a weekly basis.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic sushi restaurant, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the amazing bartender and servers, with Nat being an absolute standout. The cocktails were not only delicious but also creatively presented, adding an extra flair to the dining experience. The servers were attentive, friendly, and always ready to cater to our needs. Their attentiveness made us feel like valued guests throughout the evening. As for the sushi itself, I can confidently say it was a true delight. The restaurant's ambiance was perfect for a memorable night out!
We didn't have the pleasure of experiencing the restaurant itself as We had a sushi boat delivered to an air bib in Davie Florida for my son in laws 40th birthday. The Sushi Boat was absolutely amazing! The entire display was beautiful and EVERYONE Raved how good it was. My son in law is a foodie, and very much a sushi lover and he said it was amazing!!! Thank you so much! :)
I actually found this place when I walked out of the nail salon across the parking lot. The aroma coming out of the restaurant inticed me to go try it. I got to tell you that was some of the best food I have had in quite a while. It was flavorful it was filling and it was affordable.
I had been wanting to try this place for some time now. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious! We started with a dozen oysters topped with citris yuzu, chili garlic oil, and fried shallots. They were really good! We also had some Pork Belly Adobo Bao Buns, which was also very good! My daughter had a Taro Milk tea with boba, and she loved it. We got an assortment of sushi, and they were all amazing. We also tried the Pancit, its Filipino style glass noodles, and we got it with shrimp. Also very tasty. I dont think you can go wrong with anything on this menu. My only knock is I told them it was my daughters birthday, and she acknowledged it but never did anything for her. It's not a big deal, but it would have been nice. I look forward to coming back and trying more things.
Service was quick, attentive. The sushi flavors were fun and delicious! We hit the honeymooners roll and the 17th street roll. Bao buns were fire 🔥 also recommend those crab rangoons and spicy tuna bites 🙌🏼🤤
All around an amazing place to eat. Service was great and food was amazing. I’m a foodie, so when I try a new spot I like to go during their happy hour to really get a feel of their foods. Prices were exceptional!! I typically eat a lot healthier options so I didn’t try any of the heavy dishes such as ramen, etc. overall I will definitely be back!
Kubo is a wonderful place. Good vibe, good service, anime on the wall. Didn't understand why they didn't put on Dolphins Monday night football, but im nit picking haha. The food is great here. I typically get the Kao Soi Ramen every time, photo below, but all the Ramen is good. The Red Sea Ramen is great as well. The Crab Rangoons and Lumpia were delightful, picture below. Not too much breading and plenty of cream in the Rangoons. It comes with 5. The sauce they came with was delicious too. Also pictured below is the salmon. This was very good, but probably wont fill ya up if you need a lot of food to be satisfied. The pad thai, below, was solid. I definitely enjoyed that. A really good sushi selection as well. I definitely recommend Kubo.
Wow! They just expended and got a huge upgrade in style and quality of their dishes. Super cool manga styled sushi joint with a fully stacked bar. The sushi is phenomenal. The best I’ve had in Fort Lauderdale. Really impressed by them and going to make this my new go to place for sushi. Lots of creative new rolls with funky names. Don’t skip the appetizers either, lots of yummy options like the avocado bomb!
This place is amazing! First of all, it has one of the best disco soundtracks I’ve ever heard. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is incredible. Ramen looks great, sushi is delicious, and kubo fried rice is extremely tasty. Service is all very friendly and the prices are outstanding. Give this place a try!
This place already had expectations set to “medium”, though typically I usually set expectations to none when I see a restaurant with the words “asian fusion”. However, KUBO SURPASSED even the highest expectations one would have of a place that looks like a “dive” serving high quality food 🥘 🍱 🍲 at affordable prices in a comfortable setting. Now onto some trivia or just something that piqued my curiosity and didn’t have the time to ask the owner’s is that “KUBO” is for us Pilipino’s “Bahay Kubo” as the logo would suggest. If in fact that is the representation, how appropo… MABUHAY!!!❤️🇵🇭 Doing “asian fusion” is definitely a challenge 🌊. Me and my family have visited enough to know that it isn’t easy because sometimes there are too many or not enough things on the menu. KUBO, in our opinion executes this with the right balance. We came in for lunch and had: Filipino-Pork Adobo, Korean-Beef Bulgogi, Thai-Pad Thai Lunch Special/Shrimp and Chicken Pad-Thai, Japanese-K6.Sashimi & Unagi Don Bento Box, Chinese-Soft Shell Crab Bao Bun, Carribean-Spicy Octopus and Conch Salad and for desert Filipino-Halo-Halo. Everything we ordered was DEVOURED!!! The funny story about the Pad-Thai is that, I asked my daughter if I could have a taste of her Pad-Thai Shrimp (I wanted to see if it was tasty enough that I could order the Chicken and I ordered the Chicken to go). The only suggestion we have is about the Halo-Halo. The presentation is wonderful, the challenge was mixing and eating it. Maybe if it were served in like a “goblet” or “schooner” it would be less messy. But, overall the presentation and taste was just like “back home”. Though me and my friends are from out of town (our kids go to school in Davie), we have found a place we can and will always go to… KUBO😎😎😎😎 Resto “KUBO” kahit munti ang pagkain doon ay sari sari 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Amazing Asian Infusion dishes in FLL by far. I’m there once a week while in FLL and they never disappoint. Atmosphere is amazing, exceptional customer service and the food will always have you coming back. If you have not tried it as yet, make sure you do.
If you’re looking for high-quality Asian fusion, Kubo is a must-visit. The vibe is upbeat and the anime-themed decor makes for a really fun dining experience, but the food is the real star. While the sushi is incredibly fresh, you HAVE to try the Khao Soi. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had, the broth is a thick, rich yellow curry with the perfect balance of coconut milk and spice. The mix of soft noodles and crispy noodles on top provides that authentic texture, and the red onions and lime brighten everything up perfectly. Service was prompt and friendly, and the portions are generous. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch or a fun dinner, don't leave without ordering that curry!!! 🤤🤤

A very unique and fun designed Asian resturant. The atmosphere is laid back and would be a great place to meet with friends and family for drinks and food. The food itself was actually really good. There is also a wide variety of choices such as sushi, ramen, noodle dishes, poke bowels, and many more. Service was extremely good and never felt forgotten. The only minor feedback is I would say price for portions mighty be slightly skewed but the quality is there to back it up. Overall, a great place to eat.
It was nice to try Kubo @ Ft. Lauderdale.. The host and server are very welcoming and they’re really attentive , fast service the food is great. Ordered Sisig bao ban, and sizzling sisig and chashu ramen with spicy miso broth.. two thumbs up. I highly recommend this place for an asian fusion bar and resto.
I recently had the opportunity to dine at Kubo Asian Fusion and Bar in Fort Lauderdale, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I ordered the udon noodles with shrimp, and I must say, they were among the best I’ve ever had. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the shrimp was fresh and flavorful, and the dish was well-balanced and satisfying. Every bite reflected the kitchen’s attention to quality and technique. For dessert, I asked the waitress for a recommendation and was introduced to the burnt ube cheesecake. It was absolutely outstanding—rich, smooth, and bursting with unique flavor. A truly memorable dessert. The presentation of each dish was impeccable, adding to the overall dining experience. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was both stylish and comfortable, making it a great place for both casual and special occasions. Overall, Kubo Asian Fusion offers an elevated dining experience with excellent food, thoughtful service, and beautifully presented dishes. I highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again.
Great atmosphere and food. Have been here twice and both I got great service, ambiance and food. Today (Sunday night) I sat at the bar by myself and the bartender was very sweet and super tentative. I got the Chicken gyozas and the Wagyu steak Donburi. ( I was between that and the salmon poke bowl.) O M G. The Wagyu was So good! I also had the Thai Tea Crepe cake, it was perfect! Not too sweet, or overpowering. Prices are fair, food is really great! I will definitely come again. Totally recommend! Plus they close late every night! This is a must on a friendly budget.
Came here with 2 friends on a whim. I love Asian fusion, and I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The food came out fast, but tasted fresh. We got the crispy tuna that was amazing (if you haven’t gotten this before somewhere, it’s a must). I can’t tell you the name of your pork belly dish I got, it was in the entree section on the top right, spicy and delicious. My gf got the poke bowl with Tuna that was delightful. The only thing that wasn’t good was the shrimp shumai. Would happily come back here
I came here on a Saturday night for my casual birthday weekend outing with my family and it was great. We sat outside since there wasn't any seat inside and we were served quickly, efficiently and with so much professionalism. Food was delicious, sushi was great and the Thai tea... so good we ordered another one to go and it didn't make it home. Definitely recommend it's a 10/10..
What is a googlers in YouTubers? It's your boy Henry and the back at it again with another review for you guys. I really just want to say excellent. The food was delicious 😋. I always do sushi anytime I eat out at a Asian restaurants but I do recommend that you try one of the many soups they have.
We tried this place on a whim and it was great. The food was all delicious and came out quickly. The server and I had a miscommunication where we ordered chicken tempura roll and he brought out a shrimp tempura. We mentioned it and then quickly apologized, left the roll for us to take home, and brought out the correct roll. Very impressed and happy with this choice of restaurant.
Very good Asian restaurant with great selection of Japanese, Thai and Filipino staple dishes. We tried the Sisig, Tom Yum, dragon roll, Drunken Udon and all were great!!
My wife was excited for me to try this place and the time finally came. There was ample parking and we were seated right away. The atmosphere is anime inspired and there are lots of references to popular anime all over and it pass the vibe check. Our waiter was very nice and took our order immediately while making recommendations depending on the dishes we ordered. For starters we had the spicy edamame and tom yum shrimp soup. The spicy sauce on the edamame was really good the kids loved it! The Tom yum soup was also really good very flavorful. For entrees my wife had the salmon California and spicy Kani rolls. My daughter had the yaki udon with shrimp. My son had the build your own ramen with spicy miso base, and beef bulgogi. Finally for my meal I had the Kao soi ramen bowl. I loved the complex flavor and the taste was really good. I almost forgot to mention they have a full service boba tea cafe. My wife tried the Thai iced tea with boba and the taro. She didn’t like the taro but loved the two iced. I handed my self to her taro boba. All in all good food and good vibes! Now I have Spot locally for ramen. :D
Baos were a bit bland, ordered the pork. Just a little more finess would have done it. The bulgigi however was amazing, even set off the fire alarm! The server sent the bill a bit to quick. Barely time to chew the last bite.
Found this awesome spot on Christmas Day. The service was great can’t complain. The food was a 3.7 out of 5. Portions and cost of food were excellent. I ordered the following: Pork buns- very tasty and delicious Chicken dumplings- tasty but served cold Honey BBQ wings- savory and crispy they were in deed scorching hot! California roll- good, rice could be better Chicken teriyaki was AMAZING, very fresh, crisp and super tasty. Highly recommend. Boba tea wasn’t the best. Crepe dessert wasn’t really my liking. Please the drinks and desserts are on a separate menu card. Definitely checking this place out again for some tasty ramen!
KUBO Asian Fusion Street Food is a delightful eatery that offers a fusion of Asian flavors in a cozy setting. We ordered the steamed chicken Gyoza, steamed Thai pork dumpling, JB roll, salmon California and shrimp tempura roll. The sushi definitely lived up to our expectations and left us wanting more. While the sushi impressed us, the Gyoza and Thai dumplings fell slightly short. The flavor was enjoyable, but we couldn't help but feel that they were reheated rather than freshly steamed. Although they were still tasty, we would have preferred a more authentic and freshly prepared experience. Parking was plentiful and convenient, which made our visit hassle-free. Additionally, the restaurant's decoration, adorned with anime-themed elements, added a fun and quirky touch to the ambiance. It created an enjoyable atmosphere that added to the overall experience. Overall, KUBO is worth a visit.
I came to Kubo with a group for 4, and we were seated and tended too right away, there was no wait time at all. The staff here were very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We all ordered ramen, and they were all equally delicious, flavorful and well prepared. The menu has a wide selection of items to choose: from rice and noodle dishes, sushi, soups, kids times and snack items. You'll definitely find something to enjoy. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and it has a claiming atmosphere, considering it was in the middle of the day, so the rush was not as bad. This is a defiantly a spot we will be returning too for excellent ramen!
It was the second time my wife and I went to this restaurant. It’s a cool and casual place, service was always very good. This second time we went there food was ok but not awesome, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes. The poke had just too much rice and nothing really special. The pad Thai wasn’t really to my taste, too sweet. The fried rice is really good, and the chicken or pork dumplings are awesome too! Great food for the price overall. Will surely come back.
The service was excellent. The food was tasty and well plated. The only thing missing was a unique atmosphere. It was just okay. Not bad or not good. If Kubo put in place, some simple changes into improving their ambiance only... I could see i solid 4 stars for casual dining.
Had a late dinner, while we were there, there was a good turnover of customers so this is clearly a popular go-to. My daughter and I ordered bulgogi bun and lumpia to start, then she had Yaki udon w/beef and I had pancit w/chicken. The lumpia and pancit were average, the udon and bulgogi were delicious. The Oreo tempura was way too greasy and we did not enjoy the flavor, the Thai donut was good. Service to take our order was quick and the appetizers came out quick. The entrees and the dessert took a long time so the pace was a little uneven. Also, other than ordering and delivering the food, no one checked in on us to see if we needed anything. I tried 3x to catch someone's attention to order a side of white rice, 4th time got me noticed.

After all the Yelp hype we couldn’t wait to try Kubo. The menu and the ambiance is overwhelmingly pleasing. If you are an anime fan you will be super delighted with the decor! The service was friendly and receptive. They have a wonderful selection of Bobo bubble teas and the Choco was a decadent delight as were the cocktails. Unfortunately the food fell short. The Tonkatsu was in a delicious curry sauce but the meat was dryish. The hot and sour soup was quite good. The Thai pork dumplings were hardly edible. They came out barely lukewarm and the texture and taste were awful. Worst dumplings we have had we left 3 of the 4. Because of the huge menu and overall experience we will return to see if we just ordered the wrong dish.
We went on Sunday to try Asian food and I gotta say, I think we might go there again. We try the dumplings and sushi, and we ordered the basic rolls ( California roll, JB roll, and shrimp tempura roll) all of them come in 10 pieces and they were fresh and tasty). The dumplings thought were a little bit overheated, I guess there were not just made at the moment but they tasted good. The service is good, and we love the decoration though, there are animes everywhere, which is pretty cool! The restaurant has a bar also.

Ordered the udon, teriyaki chicken and sushi boat for 2. Udon and teriyaki was ok, nothing to write home about. Sushi was not good. Rice was hard and not seasoned and no wasabi in the middle. Not worth $58... maybe if it was 25.
Sharel is either incompetent or a crook. He made three separate charges against my credit card. I called the number on the receipt to work with a manager to resolve this issue, but the line goes straight to voicemail and the mail box is full. So, there is no way to contact them from out of town. As far as the restaurant goes, if you consider a Filipino restaurant serving other Asian food “fusion.” This might be your favorite one, for me, average at best and with this kind of service, a one and done visit when I am in town. Got a reply from the owner, called the restaurant, left a voicemail, but they never called me back. I had to contact my card company to have them investigate the charges before reversing them and crediting my account. What a PITA…
Good sushi Unfortunately, I had a really bad time in experience. I have enjoyed better Ramen at 107 taste or SKAUR local in Fort Lauderdale. The pork was raw and the bamboo was hard. Also, the lunch special had really small portions If you’re looking for a good dine in experience, I would not recommend coming here. Rude server. Hostile dine in environment. furthermore the soda was flat four dollars for a refillable drink however should’ve just gotten a water.
