So far, the best ice cream in Fort Lauderdale. I usually visit the Commercial Pier location but the Las Olas location is equally as good. Everything there is great, however the only down side is the price. Expect to pay over $10 per ice cream. If you’re in town visiting it’s definitely worth the experience.

Kilwins is my go-to dessert shop when I am in downtown Fort Lauderdale. They offer a variety of options when it comes to fudge and chocolate whether it be truffles, chocolate-covered treats, or ice cream. I love to get the birthday cake or apple pie ice creams when they are in the rotation. This location is well-kept and clean. Although it is a busy store, the staff is helpful in explaining the menu and is friendly enough to give suggestions. I recommend that you give this place a try if you haven't already!

They have been in business since 1947 when they opened first store in Petoskey, MI. I bought a caramel apple with peanuts ($8.75 plus tax). Somewhat pricy but it is Ft. The place was busy but the service was exceptional everything is incredibly clean considering the fact that they get a high volume of foot traffic here before you arrive they make everyone sanitize their hands. Which I think is extremely important considering the unprecedented times we're living in right now the staff never gave my wife and I an attitude whatsoever when we wanted to try as many samples as we would have liked. Kilwins can be on the expensive side but the quality of the products that they serve is absolutely worth it!

We stopped into this little shop while riding bikes through Las Olas. There was a sweet man working behind the counter that helped us. He was very patient with us as we could not decide on all the delicious choices! It was our best friends bachelorette party so he sent us off with some free chocolates. I have to agree with the review 6 slots down (chronologically) from mine, I also couldn't get into my ice cream. The container was far too small. I like to swim around in my dessert before eating it, and it's a shame Kilwins can't be more accommodating.

First time visiting this location. Needed a pick-me-up and Kilwins fudge was the first thing on my list. I truly wish I would've gotten the man's name that helped us out. He was so kind and helpful. His cheerful attitude truly brightened my night. He gave us samples of the fudge and we ended up getting some amazing flavors. We got Peanut butter, Penuche, Cookies & Cream, and Vanilla Sea Salt Caramel. They were all SO good. You can never go wrong with Kilwins fudge. Will definitely be back for more of their yummy treats! Oh and the smell when you walk in is just heavenly!!

My family and I have been going to this place occasionally for about 4 years now and every time it is always a great experience. There are plenty of options to choose from for fudge made fresh. The ice cream is simply amazing. It is creamy, and flavorful with every bite. The staff is also very friendly and patient with everyone even on busy days. This is a smaller store set in Las olas so there isn't a lot of seating available except for a few benches outside in front of the store but not a big deal for me personally.

This ice cream shop is a delight! It's definitely in my top three favorites for a reason. The toasted coconut flavor is my absolute favorite, but the chocolate toasted coconut doesn’t stay behind either. Each bite is a burst of deliciousness that you won't want to miss, i love the textures it has giving life to the ice cream! And if you're a chocolate lover, the double chocolate fudge is a must-try as well!

We had a great conversation with them that we lost track of time to the point that we had a joke about "too much salt" that we laughed and they made our experience very pleasant. We visited this lovely place while touring the city on bikes this past Tuesday. It was extremely hot outside and we just happened to stop in at this awesome ice cream and chocolate shop. The ice cream was so delicious and rich and creamy. Now sitting back home in Canada I’m finally eating the fudge we purchased and omg it is so good. This is by far the best fudge I’ve ever had that I wish we bought more than 3 slices. If you like fudge and happen to visit, make sure you buy more than 3 pieces as you’ll regret not having more.

Delicious ice cream with lots of flavors. Our kids loved getting a treat. The small was a good amount so they both were able to share one! We also tried the dark chocolate cashew turtles, really good as well. There are a few benches infront of the store to enjoy the sweets!

Kilwans Las Olas was a great place to stop in after dinner among the many great restaurants in the area. However, none of those compare to the amazing smell as soon as you walk in the door. From 10+ different varieties of fudge, to a wide assortment of chocolate goods and 30 different ice cream flavors to choose from, you can definitely find something for everyone in your group when you stop in here. Although the prices were a little steep (~$10 for 2 scoops of ice cream in a bowl) the quality was great on everything we sampled!

I got a few truffles and thought they were just alright. One I just didn't like and I don't think I was in the mood for the others I had. I probably should have gotten fudge or ice cream. There was just too much for me to choose from! I do have a problem with indecision.

Good ice cream, but higher priced than some that is just as good. Choice of flavors is fairly limited as is space. If you go during popular times (like weekends), you can wait a long time. They do make a great penuche fudge, which can be very difficult to find.

Loved this location but the employees need some training in how to be respectful and nicer because when i went the young girl cashier was very passive aggressive and mean for one simple question…while waiting in line to check out i noticed i didn’t have fudge and took one single bite of ice cream just one bite..the man on the line was busy and i was next in line it would be easier to ask her for fudge but wrong! She was very mean and said no because i took a bite of ice cream…my own ice cream? i did not understand the logic…i asked for it on the side too and she said no too not even making eye contact with me i understand being packed on a holiday and tired but for someone who just started existing to you there’s no reason to take your anger out on me i used to love this place for the energy but now all i will remember is the rush and passive aggressive behavior

Tonight, I went to this ice cream shop for the first time. I've been to one in Orlando prior to this one, and it was a great experience. So I was expecting pretty much the same good experience. However, I was unfortunately disappointed by several things. First off, the location. The location itself is tiny, especially on a Saturday night when there are plenty of people. It feels cramped and almost claustrophobic. The second reason was the staff. The staff at this location, specifically the two young women serving the ice cream, were distracted by gossiping amongst themselves rather than serving the customers. But most importantly! They were rude to my family and me. They served the ice cream with such an impolite, sassy attitude. Even still, I said, "Thank you." There was no response, only a bad frown. We come here to peacefully enjoy delicious ice cream, not to be disrespected and discouraged from coming again to this ice cream shop.

A great product! Coming for the past years, but the attitude of the employees are going to bother this business sooner or later. They are misrepresenting the product. They show no education saying hello or good afternoon how may I help you? Try Honey Hut, Jeni’s or Mitchell’s in Cleveland, you will find great ice cream at a fair price, and never leave disappointed. I tried Wilton Creamery later on my vacation. That was great ice cream at a fair price.

We stopped to get a milk shake They we’re way over priced and after we got them we thought wow for over 12 bucks each they must be something good and they were too thin almost like drinking water and the flavor was not even what we had hoped for. Definitely not worth it. Steak and shake has way better for less than half the price.

I have been going to kilwins across the country for years. My go to is chocolate covered caramel apple. Kinda hard to mess up. Well this place did not make it well. The chocolate layer was thin and falling apart. And the apple had a sour taste to it. Not bitter. Very disappointed

Employee-Shy Shy was very in accommodating. I was willing to pay for multiple pieces of fudge and she refused to sell the medium sized pieces. I asked her could she sell me three pieces and she shrugged her shoulders. Outside of this experience, I love this location and the quality of fudge is amazing.

Awful experience. Staff refused simple requests to avoid cross contamination of allergens. Been to scores of ice cream shops that have been more than accommodating. This place was rude and disrespectful. Would not recommend

Saturday afternoon moments ago, walk-in three people in there working all look at us none of which acknowledge us and no one comes to us. We wait over a minute and walk out. That place is completely… ridiculous don’t give them your money. Well, the good thing is we found the place next-door that’s new and was amazing.

$10.06 for one bottle of water (16.9fl oz ) ??? Never again. This is insane. Not even Evian is that expensive. I'm talking about this. Unless you charged another thing.
