Red Fox Diner deserves every bit of praise. Our server, Stanley, delivered the kind of attentive service you rarely experience when sitting outside. He kept our coffee and water refilled without us ever having to ask, checked on us frequently, and did it all with genuine care. At one point I even told him he was almost too good of a server. The food matched the service. The oatmeal was hearty, delicious, and felt genuinely nutritious. The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit was perfect and the home fries, which Stanley recommended, were outstanding. Thank you to Stanley and the entire Red Fox Diner team for an excellent brunch. I will absolutely be back.

Came in this morning with my sister. Suzette was our waitress, she was very personable and friendly. I ordered the Western wrap with a side of home fries. Not only did the food taste fresh and delicious, it was also a great portion size. Will definitely keep coming back.

Summary- superb local diner with delicious eats, friendly staff and fun decor! I went with my family and we made it in between rushes in the weekend! The good: I got an omelette, packed with meat, their biscuits and gravy were superb. My wife had the some eggs Benedict which was also solid and I sampled their French toast from my kids’ plates. It was all excellent in the taste and portion department! Their fox decor is fun and unique. I also loved that they post in their door who is running the cook staff- that’s showing such dedication, commitment, and longevity of employees here. The environment is bustling, energetic and friendly. It truly feels local and unique! The only potential downside I can say is if you have more that 4 people it may be difficult to get a table d as they were limited in how many big tables they had. All in all I highly recommend going and giving Red Fox Diner a try! I know I’m certainly be back!

Suzette waited on us with the greatest smile and peppy spirit. Multiple people checked in on us. The biscuits and gravy and country fried steak did not disappoint! The gravy is out of this world. Suzette led the celebration for a couple celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. Within seconds the entire crowd began singing. It has a real family feel. Planning to return soon.

I’m staying here in Pompano with family for the holidays. I eat a lot so naturally when I woke up this morning I was starving. The diner wasn’t far so I ordered 2 Big Fox meals. The French toast was probably the best I’ve ever had, and the rest of it was excellent as well. The staff was great as well! Thank you for an excellent experience.

The food is always so good! You get the vibe that the people who work there feel like family to one another, and it makes for a great atmosphere. It's just about always packed though (inside and out) and my lady and I often just pick up and eat on the beach...but their business will not deter you, the food is really great!

WOW! WOW! WOW!! Came for breakfast this morning. As soon as we opened the door you could feel the happiness. Reminiscent of an old fashioned small town diner, the cheeriness brought back memories of the good old days! The menu was extensive, the prices were exceptional and the food was delicious. Even better than all that was the service we received. Suzette, our server, was attentive, perky and amazingly personable. Although we live in West Delray, we will DEFINITELY be regulars whenever we know that Suzette is working.

This local diner was fantastic! I walked in, and was greeted immediately. It was seat yourself, and had coffee and oj within 60 seconds of sitting down. We go every Sunday for breakfast! My favorite is the Avocado Toast, poached, is so delicious! Sherry is usually our waitress because we are early risers. She is always smiling and very pleasant. The place is clean and the food and service are very good!

Our favorite local place. My son & I eat here all the time and never had a problem with service or food quality. I highly recommend this place to all my friends, even though sometimes it's so packed we almost can't get a table. The burgers and french toast are so good that we rarely order anything else. The omelets are very good and the strawberries are usually the best I've tasted. On the rare occasion that I have sent something back, (I'm picky about my eggs) there was no problem getting a replacement. The owner is very friendly and outgoing. I see people there with dogs all the time and they seem very comfortable under the table (the dogs are under the table, not the people). Very friendly service and wonderful food says my 11-year-old picky eater.

My husband and I decided to try the diner after we had gone Denise's to find they had closed down. Well, we were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. We did the outdoor seating as it was busy. Personally I thought that would get us less attention... But I was wrong. They 2 girls working the outdoor area were amazing. They were helping each other out (working like a team).. it was great to find what I am sure will become our new diner.

Deerfield Beach local favorite, The Red Fox makes one heck of a spectacular omelette! Less than 15 minutes from Hillsboro Beach and 10 minutes from Lighthouse point, this is a great stop along the way.

This is one of my favorite local spots to visit for breakfast. It is welcoming and staff is always aware of you walking in and ready to help you. The coconut French toast is a delightful treat when you're in the mood for something sweet in the morning. The bacon is always nice and crispy. The local customers are friendly and add to the overall family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Patty the owner, and her staff are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. We service their dumpsters and the past couple of times we have came they are always so generous offering us coffee, and other menu items. We had breakfast here today. We were a party of 4. We sat outside since we had our pup with us. The food was amazing. I had the avocado toast, hubby had the eggs benedict. The service was excellent. The food came out quick and waitress was great on refills. The owner, Patty, even came out to check on us. Definitely recommend!

Rainy day and they had a server at the window welcoming guests, it was packed but service was fast, server was friendly and attentive to our needs, keeping the table clear.

Ive been going to Red Fox Diner since they move around the corner from Publix. They are like family for me with staff and customers! The owner lives on the other side of the canal. No offense to the owner, your staff is what makes you successful. The food is great but you are treated with respect. The staff is awesome. I run a business with 16 people who count on me. Im very impressed with the staff who I consider friends. I love the staff at Red Fox. Their entire staff made sure my order was correct. Their dedication is unmatched!

The environment is very nice, it stayed crowded which must be a testament to how good it is. The service was superior to most places. I think my servers name was Amanda.

Servers are very attentive except for when it came to paying the bill. They put the bill down and we put our card down and waited for quite a while for someone to pick it up. We were not sure if we were supposed to get up and go pay it somewhere or if the server took it. There was no clear visual of whether you went up to a counter and paid or if your server ticket. We only thought maybe you got up and paid because it sat on the table so long. We ended up stopping another server who was not our original server and ask them how we pay our bill. She said she could take it. The food was okay. My cousin ordered avocado toast and she enjoyed it however more than half of her plate was covered with spinach. So they kind of went overload. I ordered an omelette I was disappointed because when you think about an omelette you think about cheese inside with your ingredients. They had a very very small amount of cheese inside and then they had like half a slice of cheese on top of it so The Omelette itself with the ingredients inside was extremely dry. It was good just lacking. I reviewed at four stars, I should probably review at 3 stars really but I did enjoy my meal.

June 2022, I came here with a friend and sat outside, the service was quick and breakfast was great. My friend ordered Grits and a side of Crispy Bacon. I ordered two eggs over easy with Crispy Bacon and an English Muffin. Our server who was new on the job was great. Also, the coffee tasted good, not bitter. The prices were reasonable. All and all, I would come here again and sit outside and have breakfast. Maybe next time I will try their Pancakes,

Great family-owned restaurant near the beaches. Well worth the effort to drive off A1A and find a restaurant that will deliver great food at a wonderful price. Staff is friendly and the menu selection is great. Both my husband and I loved our breakfasts and most of all the coffee is good as well. Highly recommend stopping here and checking out this wonderful restaurant that has stood the test of time for a good reason!

This is always a good place to go and get consistently good diner food at a decent price. It can be busy and a bit loud, but that’s part of the diner experience!

The coconut French toast is to die for! Great menu, not endless options. The staples & few specials which was perfect. Old school diner with yummy food. The interior is a little crammed and the service leaves much to be desired. The waitress rolled her eyes when I asked if they had fat free or almond milk. The food is good enough, I’ll bring my own next time ;)

2/13/2020- Went for lunch. Busy place. There's a counter with about 6 to 8 stools. Outside seating as well. I ordered the chicken and artichoke with cheese spinach wrap came with one side . I had the vegetables which had a white carrot which was interesting string beans and broccoli My companion had turkey club with only two pieces of bread and they cut that into four squares for look nice with french fries all good service was excellent

Less got his coffee right away and I got water I ordered the Nova salmon Bagel sandwich and less ordered as usual eggs benedict. I ordered a Western omelet with home-fried potatoes. The potatoes were perfect, but the omelet was sub-standard. The onions, green peppers, and ham bits were seared quickly, not allowing them to soften and blend their flavors together. Moreover, the ham pieces were lukewarm. They prepared the omelet by clumping the ingredients in the middle and folding the edges over. A friend ordered the mushroom and avocado omelet, and it was prepared the same way. With each forkful, the middle ingredients fell off on both sides of the fork (ingredients in any omelet should be mixed in with the beaten eggs before cooking). Everyone ordered hash-brown potatoes with their breakfast. Those hash browns looked like something that came out of a pouch of Pop Tarts and put in a toaster. I tried a bite, and it was okay but too modern for my traditional taste. Would I rush to go back there? I don’t think so. Yet, The Red Fox must be doing something right because they pack them in.

Last few times I've ordered out, less than stellar... English muffin burnt, got egg whites when I ordered scrambled. Maybe an off day or two with the kitchen. Portions are big and service is great.

You kinda get what you pay for at this spot. Definitely a budget friendly diner with very friendly service. Zero atmosphere & breakfast that is just ok. This is the second visit & both times my bagel was stale & the lox was less than fresh. My friend's omelet was nothing to write home about either. Maybe it's what we ordered? Fellow diners appeared to be mostly regulars & there were many outgoing orders, so there must be others who would disagree with my comments.

This is a true dinor, which can be wonderful. But the omelette was dry, the service average, and the ambiance meh. Fine. Serviceable. Unremarkable.

I’ve always enjoyed the Red Fox, but this visit was a bit disappointing. We were a party of four and were told we couldn’t be seated at a 5-top, yet shortly after, another group of four was seated at that same table, which felt inconsistent and frustrating. The soup arrived without crackers, which may seem small, but it’s an expected touch that was missed. My chicken salad was unfortunately bland and lacking flavor. Service was pleasant overall, but after our plates were cleared we waited over 12 minutes for the check, which made the end of the meal drag. Hoping this was just an off day, as I’ve had better experiences here in the past.

The young lady that waited on me was very sweet, hence, the two stars. The middle aged dark haired waitress and the middle aged blonde haired waitress were NOT. Unprofessional is saying it mildly, and neither should be in the hospitality business. I've heard that the owner, Patty, is wonderful. I look forward to speaking to her one day about my very poor experience at this establishment, but am very skeptical about ever patronizing it again.

First visit and last we waited over 1 hr to get our food . There was 4 adults an 2 kids we all got a sandwich with fries 3 sodas an 3 waters . The food was like fast food a the bill was over $120.00 ! We had high hopes that a good set down restaurant was in town . We could have went to Asheville to a nice steak house an all ate a nice steak for $120.00 instead of a turkey sandwich!

All I wanted was Eggs Benedictines, and got something that I do not can find words to explain correctly, it was horrible experience! Most certain the chef was running late, and did have the time to buy, butter, onions, black pepper and and extra 2 minutes to accomplish a better quality and respectable meal. Today I am feeling generous and given one star (it counts for the service Only)!

Came in today to get breakfast. No greeting. I understand they are busy but hospitality should always come first. After 5 minutes standing in the middle of the restaurant a waitress finally approached me and said she would take my order at the counter , she forgot about me and left me at the counter for an additional 5 minutes. No other waitress would even make eye contact with me or ask if they could help take my order. I love breakfast and was anxious to try the “fox special” French toast but after this experience I won’t be back. I’ve never felt so un welcomed at a restaurant before.

Hello I used to go to this restaurant fairly often. I hadn't been there for awhile. Today I went for breakfast. The bacon was cold and the potatoes were cold and the eggs were warm. I asked for the manager Sherry who I know is not very nice to her employees and to customers. This is everything she said to me and I quote. First was why didn't you send it back when you knew it was cold? Then I said because I knew you would not be nice about it so I kept quiet. She then went and got the $20 I paid for the breakfast threw it at me and said you need to take a vacation. I have never in my life been spoken to that way by someone in management in a restaurant before. I hadn't complained before I paid I just paid mainly because as I said I did not want to deal with her. This woman needs to find a job where she does not deal with the public and be so rude and nasty. Very very bad and sad

Unfortunately I have a medical condition that doesn’t allow me to eat an “adult” sized meal so I asked the server for a kids menu and embarrassingly explained why after her Only response to me was extremely sarcastic “well are you a child?” And told me she would not give me the kids menu and I can do the a La carte menu. It’s. A shame. This family diner isn’t friendly to those who are limited or medical issues to which when we go out to eat i would like to enjoy the best I can. I was left with no option but to order a regular meal to which 98% was thrown out because I couldn’t eat it but paid the whole price.

I had a very disappointing experience here today. When I arrived, I put my name down on the waitlist and stood outside watching four other parties of 2—who arrived after me—get seated before I was. Even the last couple pointed out that I had been waiting longer and that it didn’t seem fair. The hostess, told me she’d seat me after them but never did. Eventually, I was the only person left outside and decided to leave and have lunch elsewhere. I don’t want to make assumptions, but the way I was treated felt uncomfortable and dismissive from the start. As a south Asian woman, it was hard not to wonder if there was some bias involved. Either way, I hope management addresses this so no one else has to feel the same level of disrespect and exclusion that I did.
