We had an amazing experience at this sushi place! We ordered the Angel Roll, Volcano Roll, Hollywood Roll, Dragon Roll, and Tiger Roll — each one was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The freshness of the ingredients and the balance of flavors really stood out. On top of that, our server Lorelei gave us the best service we could ask for. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Highly recommend this spot for both the food and the outstanding service. We will definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Was in town for business. Sushi Sake was a 10 min nice evening walk from the Hyatt las Olas. While it was a bit pricey, the quality spoke for itself. The salmon sashimi was spot on! Would highly recommend for your sushi craving. Would absolutely return.
We enjoyed it! We visited during the daytime, everything was quick and convenient. Great food and service!
I came for a quick dinner with my friend, had Ricardo as a server and he was beyond fabulous on his service with attention, quickness and made our experience the best possible, always checking on us. The pork shumai was the best I ever had, the nigiri was super fresh with the rice on point, also had the tempura bagel roll that was super delicious. We are definitely coming back.
Husband and I came here 3 days out of our 6 day trip in Florida from the Midwest. I know this is a coastal standard with fresher seafood. As we are in from the Midwest, the seafood quality here greatly overall contrasts what I have been accustomed to prior: Fresh and satisfying sushi rolls and other apps are very much a holy grail. Servers are amazing people and they provide good service. Please keep up the great work. We will be back next time we are in the area. 🩷🩷🩷
Came for a late dinner with my family around 9:30 on july fourth, and I very pleasantly surprised with everything! The food was delicious and our server was awesome. I didn’t catch her name but she had curly hair and worked this night. She had great energy/service and was super sweet! ❤️
Had a great experience here the other night. Sat down at the bar and chatted with the sushi chef. Not enough people do this. Calvin was great. I let him pick my order for me and he didn't dissapoint. All ingredients were fresh, seasoned well, and beautifully presented. I was clearly a bit inebriated but that didn't stop Calvin from busting out the sushi boat for a fine patron such as myself. 10/10 recommend.
Sushi Sake does a wonderful job with their fresh fish selections, creative combos, and shellfish-free options for those allergic! We tried the NFL Roll, Spicy Salmon, JB Roll, and Caliente rolls. Each one was fresh and well made, and makes it worth the drive for me. We also had the fried rice which is flavorful and well balanced, and the pork shumai which is, again, a wonderful addition for those allergic to shrimp. It seems weird to say but the Wasabi and Soy sauce were good quality too and wasn't overly salty or chemical tasting. Our server, Kelly, was wonderful and while not neglectful, was not overbearing either. Overall a wonderful experience and definitely a place to go for some fresh sushi!
I come for lunch at least once or twice a week, the food is amazing, the food is made in a timely fashion and fresh.

Everything we ordered was spot on. The fish was fresh, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the fusion flavors were very well done. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants

Kelly was my server and she was very helpful and knew exactly what I wanted to try. So the volcano lava roll was fantastic. Forget to tip your sushi chefs for wonderful presentation.

First time here in fort Lauderdale having a ball on Las olas . I got my beverage. I got my food friends with laughter /catching up. Amazing atmosphere. Wonderful food and great employees. What a wonderful spot to be in.
Came in with a party of seven and we were accommodated immediately. Our server, Katie was amazing and recommended the tuna krispy rice which was my favorite thing we ordered. The rolls were not authentic but very delicious and topped with crunch which I love. Definitely Americanized Japanese food but delicious nonetheless.
Stopped by tonight omw home from dancing and glad I did. Food was delicious and fresh. Came out quickly and service was great. Bronson was our server and was such a sweetheart. Answered all of our questions and what he was unsure of he didn’t hesitate to ask the kitchen or nearest server about. I appreciated his efficiency and willingness to provide great service.
Liorecia was absolutely amazing she was on top of every order Her personality was matched with ours. And she went over and beyond with the birthday celebration She is 10 out of 10. Amazing highly recommend. She is absolutely amazing.

I loved everything about this restaurant when I saw it on tik tok. After looking at the happy hour menu and prices, my friend and I decided to have lunch here. Parking was a little difficult to find, but eventually, I found the paid parking lot. After being sat, I ordered two rolls from the happy hour menu. The waiter was very helpful with his recommendations, and both my rolls were delicious. My friend stated the chicken hibachi was very flavorful, and the sauces added an extra pop. Overall, I can't wait to return again when in the area.
Sashimi were fresh. Would not re order the hibachi, it lacked flavour.
It was a cool looking Restaurant from the outside and it was nice.👀 My roll was fresh and the sake was good! The other stir fry was fine... I'd probably come back if I'm walking by and hungry, but I'd not remember this place next time I want sushi! 🙈
I went in on Memorial Day night around 9.30pm I asked for a table for one the hostess told me she would check, she left and never came back. I saw she was busy with delivery orders. I sat at the bar myself. I cleaned the space myself. The waitress was great. I was able to order with her. Attentive, responsive, good service. The food wasn’t really good and it didn’t look too good either. I had salmon (it was undercooked) sode of white rice (probably cooked many hours before) a side of steamed vegetables (didn’t look too inviting) Anyways, I understand it was Memorial Day. The waitress was great.

Good Japanese chain restaurant. Good service. Some dishes were very tasty. The khani su is very good. Great place to hang out after dinner by going for a walk along the New River.

Super average. Katsu wasn't too bad. But man, the fried rice was expensive and as dull as ditchwater. Extremely clean bathrooms. I recommend peeing here.
The service was good aside from the server placing the order for the salmon as “well done”-which we did not request (I just caught that as I am writing this review). The music was too loud indoors for the size of the space, which is probably why he placed our order incorrectly. The name of this restaurant makes you think it’s Japanese cuisine but it’s more like Japanese inspired cuisine. The flavors are very different from genuine Japanese food and not in a way that we found to be all that enjoyable. The “nail in the coffin,” however, was that the salmon was extremely overcooked and dry and the calamari was also overcooked and rubbery. In addition, the calamari portion was tiny, like only one small squid and it was cut in a way that all the pieces were stuck together. The takoyaki had a good texture but a strange flavor that reminded me of cumin and chili (no bonito flakes on top!). The rolls were nicely assembled but too sweet; they were eel (my kid picked them so I didn’t have high hopes for them anyway because I don’t like eel sauce). The rice was standard teppanyaki style, and not bad, but also pretty meh. I don’t usually eat American “hibachi,” so this could just be my taste preferences. We perhaps struck out with what we ordered. Really wanted to like this place but didn’t.

Just ordered some fried rice and the eel sushi roll for delivery and was deeply disappointed. Their fried rice is pretty okay but their sushi is awful. The rice tasted older and stale the ginger was old and dried out and there was barely any eel in the roll. It literally tastes like I’m eating rice with some cucumber and soy sauce. The sushi at Miyako Japanese buffet is INFINITELY fresher and more delicious. Don’t come here for sushi, go to the buffet and save your money and taste buds.
