Best Greek food EVER!! Everything was so delicious and staff was amazing and very welcoming. Had the branzino for two and it was perfectly cooked. Sides were yummy - never thought of adding lemon to roasted potatoes but it was so delicious. Sat the bar and had a nice conversation with bartender, Antonio! We will be back!

This Greek restaurant has a modern and chill vibe. The hostess, Grace, was amazing – so friendly and really made our experience special and the food taste better. We had the watermelon salad which was incredible, definitely the best we've ever had. The grilled shrimp and chicken souvlaki were also delicious. Honestly, the service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Highly recommend this place!

I recently dined at Theos Estiatorio for the first time, having flown in from out of town, and it was an unforgettable experience! The authenticity and freshness of the Greek cuisine were remarkable, especially knowing they fly in ingredients directly from Greece. The flavors were vibrant and true to tradition. The management and staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, adding a warm and personal touch to the evening. A truly delightful dining experience that I highly recommend!

This is such a fabulous experience. The food, the drinks, and the service was 10/10. I had the Chilean sea bass and my brother had the lamb shank. Two of the best meals we have ever eaten. Suzanna (I hope I’m spelling it right) was our server. She was an absolute gem and gave excellent suggestions. I can’t wait to come back

The service and experience was amazing! We got there before they even opened and they allowed us to sit and order. Juan was our server and was so attentive, it’s not always easy to find good service in soflo. Food was great! I had the Chilean sea bass, mushroom appetizer and the rice puddling. All amazing !! And my favorite a very nice wine list 🙌🏽 Highly recommend

As we approached the restaurant door we could hear the upbeat Greek music playing which in my opinion is essential to a great Greek dining experience. Upon entering we were promptly greeted and seated. We had 8:30pm reservations on a Tuesday and this place was packed full of people. Great sign. Right away our server introduced herself and offered water and drinks. The decor was classy with a warmth feel. Since it was our first time we opted for several appetizers. The waitress brought to the table bread with a spread of Greek olives, hummus, and olive oil, greys way to start the meal. The octopus was the most tender I’ve ever tried served with red wine picked onions adding perfect balance of acidity and crunch. This dish is a must try. The grilled calamari was cooked and seasoned perfectly with a nice touch of lemon. The spanakopita was a decent size portion, perfect combination of feta and spinach executed like a true classic. The saganaki cheese was loaded with flavor also a good portion. The ouzo mussels in white sauce were exceptional, cooked just right in this broth that was just unreal! Definitely a favorite for me. For dessert we tried (and strongly recommend) the baklava cheesecake, which they make in house! This combination is amazing, not overly sweet. We also got to try amazing Greek wine from their extensive wine list. Now the service, it rivals a Michelin star restaurant, the crew at Theo’s was always attentive to any needs but never intrusive during our meal. It was very refreshing to experience such a top notch dining experience. I strongly recommend Theos Estiatorio for spectacular Greek food and exceptional service. An amazing overall dining experience.

Theos Estiatorio is such a gem. Everything about this restaurant is top tier! The bartenders make excellent drinks, our server recommended us delicious dishes, and Sara their digital marketing director is beyond amazing! She went above and beyond to ensure our Valentine’s Day dinner was special. Thank you 🙏❤️

Theos Estiatorio is a real Gem in Fort Lauderdale. We returned a few weeks after our original visit and were equally impressed with delicious, authentic Greek cuisine and impeccable service. We were fortunate enough to have Patrick as our server on both occasions. His passion for good food is obvious as he goes into great detail with the menu. Five stars all the way and we look forward to our next visit!

Today I went to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and from the beginning the experience was wonderful. The atmosphere is wonderful, but the best is the service and that is why I would love to have Patrick’s service, from the start, he completely made the difference, he was kind, attentive, and very professional, he was always attentive to us and explained the menu with absolute detail so that we could make the best decision. The food was wonderful, delicious, and exquisite, I love how the restaurant explores new flavors and does it in such a creative way, but what I appreciate most from a restaurant is the service and attention they offer and really Patrick made the difference, you can see the charisma he has to offer the best service. Thank you for making this occasion wonderful and for turning this restaurant into one of the must-visits that I will always have in mind, I definitely want to return and I would love for Patrick to serve me again because his service made the absolute difference. Thank you for turning these special occasions into wonderful moments with the family.

My husband and I had a reservation somewhere else, but somehow it was canceled, so we decided to try Theos. From the receptionist to the food and service, we were blown away. We had the best spanakopita and swordfish entrees, ever! We got to meet Peter, the chef, to tell him what a lovely dining experience it was.

I recently visited Theo’s with my family for the first time, and Patrick was fantastic—his recommendations were spot-on. The whole branzino, watermelon Santorini salad, and grilled octopus were all outstanding. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We truly enjoyed our meal and the hospitality we received. We definitely look forward to coming back soon.

We had heard such wonderful things about this restaurant, and they are all true! We went for my wife’s birthday, so they greeted her with a Happy Birthday on the way in. Then our server Patrick was terrific, warm, personable and efficient. And then there’s the food, oh the food. We ate a bunch of appetizers all amazing, the zucchini chips were perfect and not greasy at all, the mushrooms and gigante beans were excellent, and the grilled calamari was breathtakingly good, tender and so fresh. The cucumber mule I had was delicious, and for desert we had a Greek pastry that came out with a candle and a sparkler along with a restaurant choir to sing Happy Birthday - finally the wait staff overall was so efficient, as the food came out incredibly fast. An awesome place to which we will definitely return.

Overall dining experience was awesome. The atmosphere, service, food and wine were exceptional. So nice to be away from the noise of the beach and enjoy a nice romamtic dinner. Coming from Boston my wife and I appreciate fine dining at a reasonable price.

In all honesty, this is hands down one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. The food is absolutely phenomenal, the Mussels were one of the best we’ve had, the appetizers were amazing as well. We’ve had the Branzino and the Seabass and grilled cheese, the fried Calamari was absolutely perfect. We’ve really had a great night, great service, the waiter Antonio was amazing and very nice.

Had the most amazing experience at Theos Estiatorio! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, and our waitress gave us fantastic recommendations—we loved every dish! The chef even stopped by our table to chat about the menu, which made the experience even more special. You can truly feel the passion behind the food and service. Rebeca and her family are so kind, and the energy from everyone was just so welcoming. The restaurant was busy for a Wednesday night, which speaks volumes about how great this place is. The ambiance is beautiful, the food is outstanding, and the service is top-notch. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

This was our first time here and it certainly won’t be our last! We loved the ambience, the food, and the service! From the time we entered Theos, we felt so comfortable. I only took one picture of my Branzino…we were too busy eating! It was delicious! We also had the Greek salad, the pita bread with various spreads, the Filet Mignon, and Baklava for dessert. 👏👏

One of the most pleasant dining experiences I’ve ever had! The service was absolutely incredible and the food was immaculate. Only thing was with the strip steak it was cooked to perfection but had zero seasoning, I’m not sure if they accidentally forgot to add salt or if they don’t season but a bit of salt and pepper and it would’ve been perfect! My favorites were the beans and bolognese!

Theos Estiatorio in Fort Lauderdale delivered an unforgettable evening. From the moment we arrived the meal was a parade of delicious flavors: a selection of delightful spreads with warm pita to start, followed by a rich, comforting tomato soup and truly incredible meatballs. The Slovakia chicken entrée was a standout — succulent chicken with savory rice, peppers, and layers of flavor that were simply outstanding. The pacing of the dinner was perfect. Our waiter, Juan, was a true highlight — attentive, thoughtful, and precise in the timing of each course. The appetizers arrived in a beautiful sequence, then the entrées, all served with care and professionalism. Juan’s attention to detail made the night feel especially personal and flawless. We were celebrating my son’s acquisition of his first company, and Theo’s made the occasion feel extraordinary. The food was superb, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere warm and celebratory. Heartfelt thanks to Juan and the entire team at Theo’s — we will be back.

Amazing & authentic Greek food! I love Greek food and this is one of the most authentic you’ll find in all of south Florida. The service was outstanding; the staff is so attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance is stunning. Would definitely recommend. I was too full from the amazing food but will be back to try all the other amazing dishes on the menu that we didn’t get to try.

The best dining experience in Fort Lauderdale hands down. All of the food is incredible however their seafood dishes transport me to the Greek seaside every time. The white wine selection is outstanding with tons of blends that are difficult to find at other restaurants in town. The service and hospitality at Theos are outstanding and I have witnessed their team really making an effort to make each guest feel welcome and like family.

Almost thought that greek food wasn't for me until eating here. I thoroughly enjoyed flavors and textures I've never had before. This was a lively, elegant, memorable and flavorful experience. I ate the Lamb Shank (mind you I've only eaten lamb once before in my whole life) and I was blown away. I figured this restaurant was legit when I needed the server to translate and interpret the menu😂. Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere. Excellent experience. Highly highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience. This is one of the best Greek restaurants (outside of Greece) that we have been. The menu is expensive and you will want to try everything. The fava and the Greek salad are not to be missed.

Guys!!!! Believe me when I say, Theos is top tier!! I really love a great restaurant with a good ambiance! It’s so warm & cozy! It’s small & intimate, & the staff is so personable! From the moment u walk through the front door, ur greeted by a lovely lady, who already took the time to read my Open Table notes & did everything to accommodate hubby & me! She found us the perfect table for two, away from a large group & we ended up being the only ones on our side of the restaurant! Next, our server was Suzana! She’s from Serbia & now I’m thinking I need to visit that country, because if everyone is as sweet as her, it’s got to be a wonderful place! She was so attentive & regularly checked on us to see if we needed anything. The food!!!! OMG!!! Can u say delish??? Everything was seasoned to perfection! For appetizers we had the Greek salad & the spanakopita! Chef’s kiss! We both had the lamb chops, which came with 4 chops, lemon potatoes, & tzatziki! I never needed to add any salt to anything!! Kudos to the chef for properly seasoning food!! Oh wait! Did I mention the complimentary bread?? It came with olive oil, hummus, & kalamata olives! My husband ordered the walnut cake for dessert & they came out with it lit, with a sparkle candle, singing happy birthday to him! It was the perfect end to our evening! I will have to go back to try their branzino & baklava! I was so full, I had to take half my food home! I’m laying in bed right now in a total food coma!! Thank u, Theos, for a lovely evening!

This place is amazing! The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and there is a comfortable outdoor seating area too. All of the staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was INCREDIBLE. Genuine, authentic Greek dishes. Everything was so flavorful, we loved every single one. Can't recommend this place enough, and can't wait to go back!

Loved the decor. Be aware, it is easy to miss the sign from the road. It is located at the corner beside the Gateway theater. We sat outside but it did get hot, so I would recommend inside. I definitely recommend a reservation because they got very busy. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server, Narella, was wonderful and had great suggestions. We enjoyed the Branzino, zucchini flowers and chicken souvlaki. They also had a tasty Dubai martini.

Absolutely the best Greek restaurant I’ve been to! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere made me feel right at home—warm, welcoming, and full of genuine hospitality. The service was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and truly caring, without ever feeling rushed. Now let’s talk about the food… every single plate was delicious. Each dish was full of authentic Greek flavor, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite. There wasn’t one plate that disappointed—everything was tasty, satisfying, and memorable. What really stood out to me was how comforting the entire experience felt. It wasn’t just a meal, it felt like being invited into a Greek home and sharing food made with passion and pride. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for authentic Greek cuisine, excellent service, and a place that truly makes you feel welcome, this is the spot. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending it to everyone. A well-deserved 5 stars! 🇬🇷💙

A Taste of Greece—No Passport Required Since a spontaneous escape to the Aegean wasn’t in the cards for our day date, we settled on the next best thing: Theos Estiatorio. And honestly? Greece might be jealous. We started with sardines and zucchini flowers. The sardines? Crispy, flavorful, gone in seconds. The zucchini flowers? Not bad, but probably a one-time fling. For mains, my husband had the lamb chops (perfectly pink, thanks to our server’s tip), and I had the scallops—easily the highlight of my meal. Both dishes were a touch salty but still got completely devoured. Dessert was a sweet finish: flaky baklava and a cozy walnut cake that hit all the right notes. Huge shoutout to Suzanna, our server, who was warm, attentive, and made everyone feel like a regular. We’ll definitely be back. Maybe next time I’ll remember to take photos before inhaling the meal… but in the meantime, enjoy these “aftermath” shots—proof that not a crumb was left behind. Opa!

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it was an absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a spot that hits the perfect balance of incredible food and top-tier service, this is it. The Food We started our meal with two appetizers that set the bar incredibly high: - Beet Salad: Fresh, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned. - Zucchini Chips: Light, crispy, and dangerously addictive. For the main course, we went with the Lamb Chops and the Chicken Kebab. The lamb was cooked to perfection—tender and juicy—while the kebab was packed with flavor and grilled beautifully. You can tell the kitchen team really cares about quality ingredients. The Service What truly took the night to the next level was our server, Juan. He was EXCELLENT. Professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly, he made us feel welcomed and ensured we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to find service this polished! I will definitely be coming back here without a doubt. Whether you're coming for a special occasion or just a great meal, you won't be disappointed. Atte Diego & Tijana 🇦🇷❤️🇷🇸

The atmosphere is elegant yet warm, perfect for a romantic dinner. The service was attentive and welcoming, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can really feel the passion behind the cuisine and the overall experience. It’s not just dinner, it’s a place where you slow down, enjoy the moment, and create memories together. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Experience at Theos Theos is simply outstanding. From the moment you arrive, the service is excellent, and you can truly feel the difference of being attended by the owners themselves. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely special with all their customers, making you feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was exceptional. We enjoyed the seafood pasta, full of flavor and perfectly prepared; the oysters, extremely fresh; and the zucchini and eggplant chips, crispy and delicious. The branzino was flawless—fresh, tender, and cooked to perfection. Dessert was the perfect finale: the cheesecake with baklava was a unique and amazing combination, and the molten chocolate cake was absolutely spectacular. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and a complete dining experience. Highly recommended.

A little piece of Greece in Ft Lauderdale 💙Theo’s Estiatorio on Sunrise Boulevard is one of the best Greek restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. After recently returning from a trip to the Greek Islands , Mykonos and Santorini, We were craving authentic Greek food, and this restaurant truly delivered. We started with handcrafted cocktails, including the Santorini Sunset cocktail and a cheese-stuffed olive vodka martini, both excellent. For appetizers, we had the zucchini flowers stuffed with three cheeses, lightly battered and perfectly fried. We also ordered the Melitzanosalata (Greek eggplant spread) and Santorini fava, both incredibly authentic and flavorful, served with warm pita bread. For dinner, I ordered the whole branzino cooked with olive oil, lemon, and capers, it was fresh and flaky. My hubby had The lamb shank over orzo wow! It was tender, rich, and full of traditional Greek flavor. Dessert included a moist coconut cake with coconut ice cream and classic Greek baklava, both outstanding. Theos Estiatorio is a true gem. From the second you enter the restaurant, you instantly feel welcomed. The space has been thoughtfully designed with beautiful accents and well placed lighting, the service is top notch, and most importantly the food is 10/10. Absolutely amazing experience. This is one of the best Greek restaurants (outside of Greece) that we have been. The menu is expensive and you will want to try everything. The fava and the Greek salad are not to be missed.

Opa!

I went with my husband for Valentine's Day last night. It was packed, as you would expect on that night and we had a reservation. Grace was so nice and welcoming and it was fun that we shared the same name along with a busser who was also named Grace and very pleasant. They ended up having a grid failure short power outage while we were waiting for our entrees, which backed the kitchen up and our server kept apologizing and acknowledging us. We did not care at all, we were just enjoying the atmosphere and our date. I felt very bad for the staff, it must have been sooo stressful, but they handled it with "grace". When we got our food, the entrees were exceptional 👌, especially the scallops. They ended up giving us a couple of desserts to go for free because of the wait and I really appreciated that. We will definitely come again, especially since we live right down the street! I have to say as well, even the bathrooms were gorgeous! I loved to see both the owners so involved and invested in their business and they really care about their customers. Amazing job 👏 🙌

Overall dining experience was awesome. The atmosphere, service, food and wine were exceptional. So nice to be away from the noise of the beach and enjoy a nice romamtic dinner. Coming from Boston my wife and I appreciate fine dining at a reasonable price.

Theo’s in Fort Lauderdale was exceptionally delicious—a true culinary escape that reminded me of Greece 🇬🇷. The lobster pasta was rich and flavorful, and the almond bread with garlic dip? Divine! The only small miss was the olive oil bread—it was served cold, and warming it up would’ve made the experience even more inviting. Overall, a charming spot with standout dishes that take your taste buds on vacation. Can’t wait to go back!

Well I am glad that there is another great Greek restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. To our surprise the overall score we gave it as a family was 8.5/10.We got a bunch of appetizers, dips all were fantastic with a Greek Salad and 2 main meals. My only problem was the wine selection but I clearly understand that being in Florida maybe the Importers dont bring in the best wines from Greece sonics not a store problem. Very nice atmosphere and great service. We will be coming back 😊

Theos Estiatorio feels modern from the moment you walk in — clean, stylish, and offering a warm, genuinely welcoming greeting. When we visited, the restaurant was only about half full, yet the noise level was surprisingly loud. We actually had to sit next to each other just to talk in a normal voice. I truly hope they address the acoustics, because the food deserves a more comfortable atmosphere. We started with the octopus, which was fresh, tender, and beautifully prepared — a wonderful beginning. For my main course, I had the lobster pasta. The lobster meat was folded into the pasta itself, and for presentation they included the shell to show where the meat came from. A classy touch. The pasta was excellent, and the portion of lobster was generous — a truly delicious dish. My wife ordered the lamb shank, and wow — it was cooked with real care. Fall-off-the-bone tender, full of deep flavor, and easily one of the standout plates of the evening. Overall, Theos Estiatorio offers a fantastic dinner experience. It’s on the higher end price-wise, but very much worth it for the quality and passion behind the food.

Beautiful restaurant both inside and outside. The food was very good but I really thought for the high price, everything would have been elevated to a higher standard. Food review: the lamb chops were lukewarm and not medium but more well done. We make better chops at home. The snapper was tasty but nothing special. After about 5 minutes of eating, I had to remind them that they came with green beans which they brought to the table. We also had the mussels soaked in butter sauce and it was excellent. Dessert of baklava was also delicious with good coffee. The cons; very noisy, like the music was blasting and crowded. The servers’ butts were literally in our faces when they attended the tables next to ours. Food took a long time to come. Dinner lasted 2 hours. I really had higher expectations for this restaurant but it didn’t live up to its 4.8 rating. I don’t think we’ll be back because there’s so many other Greek restaurants I want to try. Took photos of everything. If you enjoyed my honest review, please give it a ❤️.
