Absolutely delicious!!! Super cool spot . The baked beans were the best I ever had. I would definitely try it if u got the chance. The BBQ sauce was not my favorite. But everything else was amazing! Oh and the jalapeno cheddar sausage was to die for!!! Best I ever had in my life!

This was our first time back since the renovation, and let me tell you that the face lift was a top tier upgrade! The ambiance is brighter and the food was awesome as it always has been. We are excited for the new menu items, and grateful for the outdoor seating option with misters and fans. You can't go wrong with their moist brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage with a side of okra and mac and cheese. Everyone employed here is pleasant and friendly, even with the new found ability to see into the back of house, you'll get a kitchen worker smiling back, thanks for the great service y'all!

Cousins has three locations in Fort Worth. 1st time to visit the Bryant Irvin location. Nice atmosphere, spacious, inviting and well decorated. They offer dine-in and take out options. Menu seems a little different than the other location I've tried on Mc cart Ave. The meat was a little heavy on the salt side. My other dinner companions felt the same as well with the side items also. I would definitely give them another try because I really liked the atmosphere and service, very accommodating.

Got the brisket, rate it 4 stars, but the side order of beans was a joke, the same size container of sauce, stay away from sides if you want to save money.

I really wanted to like this place. "All you can eat BBQ" sounds appealing. Sadly, the food was simply not good. I had brisket, German sausage, pork ribs, baked beans and fried okra. The sausage was really greasy, I mean even for sausage. Tha brisket was lackluster, which is very disappointing because I adore a good brisket. The rest was less flavorful than food you'd get from a can or a frozen dinner. I also had an IPA. It was good on the first sip, but then began to taste like soap. I couldn't tell if this was a fault of the drink or an improperly rinsed glass. Either way, it was a real let down. This is a shame because the service was good. The atmosphere was comfortable and what I expected. Even the price felt right for what was being offered. Still, I won't be eating here again.

2nd visit 5/27/2024: So this is my first time coming for the actual bbq. It was like a 5 out of 10. I got the Old School Tray. With collard greens and mac n cheese as my 2 sides. The collard greens was decent except for the woody bits that they should take care in preparation. The mac n cheese though? Horrid. I am attaching a video of it. Its soupy as heck. I regret spending the $40 on this tray. Sausage bites were ok. Brisket tasted medicinal. Pulled pork was forgettable. I am saddened as this changes my original review. It is sad because this was such a lackluster visit compared to my first time. I did not finish my meal so Im still hungry which is the biggest insult as a patron. Ive been known to shovel through mediocre food but this was unforgiveable. 1st visit: First of all - there needs to be more people here for happy hour because yall are CRAZY to pass up these deals. The burger was well seasoned, fries were not my fave and the brisket nachos was really good. The drinks are boozed well for a happy hour deal. The margaritas are large. My bartender, Olga, is super nice, quick and great conversationalist. She makes you want to stick around with her positive vibes, awesome smile and clear love for hospitality. I cannot say it enough - come here! Also, make sure to tip well because on a Wednesday night during Happy Hour she was the only one in the bar darting around while the kitchen kept cranking meals out to her with a Tom Segura lookalike (a compliment, I promise) bringing them out to her. Its a really nice, cohesive environment with great music (I am not a fan of country music).

I’ve been coming here for a while and have usually had a good experience, which makes my last couple of visits disappointing. The BBQ tasted old and almost gamey. The meat was dry, overly peppered, and didn’t have much smoke flavor. It honestly seemed like it had been sitting for days and reheated. I’m hoping this was just an off day, because I’d love to see the quality get back to what it used to be.

I went on January - 20 - 2026 I got the sandwich plate 2 sides, brisket was very salty, bbq sauce tasted watered down, potato salad not so good, salty taste and Mac and cheese, very watery didn't even taste like Mac and the only that tasted good was the ice tea, but the food not good at all. It was my first time going and my last. I do not recommend the restraunt.

The service was ok considering it was busy. Y they were busy is a mystery. The brisket nachos were ok. The wings were burnt and horrible as well as the fries. I had them tossed! The brisket poppers r wrapped in pork, yet the menu doesn't say that. I replaced them with the wings and fries which were absolutely horrid. I remember getting some dry brisket from the Crowley location by the Kroger. This is the 1st time I've dined inside. What a hugh let down!

I guess I should have learned a lesson the last time I bought a Barbecue baked potato but apparently not. I went through the drive thru. When I got home the potato was shriveled up and not fresh, not much meat, no side of sauce. But I did get little cups of onions, peppers, and pickle relish which I said I didn’t want. I paid over $17 including tax. The food was awful. I didn’t call in because the last time I called I got an attitude. Last year my family and I went there for a celebration and paid over $100 for dried chicken and beef, cold fried okra, and poor service. Since my daughter was buying she didn’t want to say anything which I feel she should have because we were eating inside the restaurant. I’m not going back. We have restaurants just as close as Cousins and they actually sell better quality barbecue. How disappointing, my mother loved this restaurant when she was alive but they’ve changed. I don’t know why this review was posted from GriefShare because I have nothing to do with that program???

Never tried this place before this review but I did get food to go a while back so I’m just now leaving a review. This was honestly probably the worst barbecue I’ve ever had. I mean I didn’t even finish it that day. The potato salad was so bad that I got Walmart potato salad instead. The flavoring of everything was just off. Ribs were not it but I forced myself to eat some of the meat. Brisket was just dry as hell. Sausage was nasty as well. Plate ended up in the trash upside down but they tried, barbecue isn’t for everyone.

We ordered a pound of sliced brisket and when we got it home we saw that it was almost nothing but fat and very little meat. Brisket was greasy and overcooked. We won't be coming back.

The atmosphere was great. The food was great. Later on on 1/14/2026. I was so disappointed with the establishment and with the bartender who was working last night I understand there was two bartenders working last night. One of them was very cordial and the other one not so much we had got told at 8:25 that was last call and last rounds because it was against the law For Cousin‘s barbecue to sell alcohol after 8:30 PM. I have honestly worked in restaurants and fast food business. For approximately 15 years. And I have never heard of a law that says you have to stop serving alcohol 35 minutes before you close the establishment. I ASK! that this problem gets taken care of promptly and cordially because this is one of our favorite spots to go. My husband had also said that the night before he was there with a couple friends and they had got served till 8:58 PM. So I’m not understanding how at 8:25 PM we were told that the establishment was no longer able to sell alcohol alcoholic beverages. And if that is a rule, I would love to see your clause. Because as I had mentioned before, this is the first time that I had heard of this nonsense.!!!

The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was wonderful. Me and my husband had came and ate there for lunch. We had a girls night out and 35 minutes before the bar closed. We were told by the bartender who was running the bar on 1/14/2026 during night shift we were no longer allowed to get served drinks because it was against the law to serve drinks 30 minutes prior to an establishment closing. I have ran bars and restaurants for over 15 years and I have not been more ashamed of an establishment or more embarrassed of an establishment for them to come up with false excuses to close early. My husband and his friends were just there last night and they had got served till 9:58 PM. Me and the girls that I was with had got cut off at 8:25 and was told it was against the law for them to serve us beer so we went to a different establishment. I just feel that management should be aware of what’s going on. Because this kind of treatment and behavior from the bartender who was trying to argue with me about the established hours is unacceptable. I would like to hear back about what is going to happen to keep the establishment running properly thank you Ms.Rodriguez I am Very disappointed with my service from our bartender

Service was great and very friendly… food- not great. Seemed like boiled ribs that were very salty. Chicken was dry and tough to chew. Macaroni was watery and bland. Okra though was great.

Food was horrible! Everything was dry, fried okra was over fried so it was flavorless. The meat was very dry but seasons seemed to be there. The bbq sauce at our table seemed to be watered down but I didn’t compare to any other table. I had the German sausage- great flavor very dry. Sliced brisket moist option, they cooked it incorrectly let the meat dry out and relied on the fat content to make it “moist”. And the pork ribs, I have nothing positive to note about their ribs. Mac and cheese was horrible and watery, flavorless. Paid 75 for two adults and a 15 month old. Not worth it at all. For the type of meal we ordered it had a lot of rules and restrictions the all you can eat plate- awful experience and awful food.

Cousins what happened!! The smoker was out of commission today. I bought a slab of ribs some “smoked” wings and brisket queso and NONE OF IT tasted like it was smoked. I just got robbed of my money.
