Fast and happy there is a Jimmy Johns that finally delivers to the Near Southside.

Do I need to say, "Freaky fast?" I know it's what they do and it still surprised me that my sandwich was ready before I reached the end of the counter.

Best sandwich I've had in ages!! He made it PRECISELY how I requested, missing no detail, and did so in record time!! Definitely saved Jimmy Johns from being expunged from my dining pool after an abismal showing from the Throckmorton location. ABSOLUTELY will be returning!!

Had the 8” Billy Buster #8 on the menu. PLENTY is roast beef, cheese, etc. Lived the fresh French bread. Drive-thru. Didn’t take long at all. ALL employees were wearing protective masks. Plus, wearing gloves and switched them out all the time to ensure no cross contamination. And it wasn’t your typical greasy fast food. Give this place a try. I’m confident you will switch over from hamburger joints! 👍👏🏻😋

Everytime I go in to the store they are done with my sandwich before I have a chance to put my credit card back in my wallet! The food is good and they really are fast!

My first experience at this place was amazing. I couldn't believe my sub was done that fast. I thought to myself that they couldn't have make a good sub so I tried it with disbelieve. What a great sub. This is by far the best fast food sub in have ever tried. Hope they open more location closer to home. Great Sandwiches!!! A little over 3 years ago they would bring my brother his favorite while getting chemo at Baylor All Saints. He absolutely loved Barq’s Rootbeer. He’d have 2 larges delivered and his famous Gargantuan. Here with my oldest daughter now and they are still friendly and have great service.

I'm not here to rate the food, but I am here to rate the kind employees at Jimmy Johns. When my dad was in the hospital after having a massive stroke, we went there to grab a bite to eat. My mom was in obvious distress and was crying and one of the employees at this restaurant, stopped what they were doing to console her and offer to buy her a sandwich. I didn't get her name, I wish I did, but whoever you are...your kindness will never be forgotten! It's been nearly 3 years since my dad past away from his stroke, and to this day I remember you!

The turkey and roast beef were fresh and tasty! And the amount of avocado was just right. The oatmeal raisin cookies are really good, got a few of them. Thanks to the crew that was so kind to me on a very hot and hungry afternoon and made my first JJ's experience the one that will keep me coming back!

Different price points for the type of sandwich. The regular is a great sandwich so I don't feel like I need to move up to the costlier one.

I love the beach club sandwich I modify it with Jimmy mustard instead of mayonnaise and I add pickles, onions and Jimmy peppers and I have them scoop out the extra bread. Good stuff!

Had a big order. The beacon was left out of one of the sandwiches. Gave them a call and told them the beacon was missing. They said sorry and sent me a whole sandwiche. 😎

Good taste ok service need more variety on drinks vegetables some spinach purple onions, maybe some hot sauce overall ok for the price.

Love the food, but the delivery drivers take all the parking and make it difficult to get in and out.

Hubby had not really ever had but a Turkey sw at Jimmy John's. I had him stop to grab a sw to split because we were starving. I gave him a few suggestions, but was leaving it up to him. The sw that we bought was good, but the staff were not at all helpful informative and appeared a little put out by making a sw. I would just pick a different location if you don't really know the food.

Tried the new Frenchie sandwich, not bad but a little bland for my taste, finally had them add some oil and vineger dressing to it.

Jimmy Johns always has some quality sandwiches and chips for me to enjoy at a fair price, but at this particular Jimmy Johns I had a bit of an issue with the service. My friends and I went up to order our meals and while many of the employees appeared to be making a catering package of subs some workers who appeared to not be doing anything asked us after 5-10 minutes what sandwiches we ordered so they could make them. So it was ok, but man I wanted those subs "freaky fast".

I ALWAYS check the box to have my sub cut in half. To this day, 5 years of ordering from Jimmy Johns from multiple locations they have NEVER cut it in half. No big deal, I chuckle and smile every-time! Its the one consistency I can rely on. It’s simple really. Do NOT offer services your not willing to provide! Spicy Italian comes with red peppers... absolutely IN LOVE with this sandwich!!!! However this last order only had two tiny peppers at the end of the bread. When I informed management she states they are to only put them on ‘easy’. (that’s a bs excuse, and you know it JJ) It’s not ’easy’ if you can’t taste it throughout the whole sandwich!! It’s a rip off. You should consider dicing the peppers so they can be throughout the sandwich if your seriously going to put 2 one-inch pepper slices on an 8 in sub. Im very weary of ever paying extra for adding avocado to any sandwich. Despite the 400% mark up for the amount received versus actual cost It’ll still be spooned onto one section and left there —reminds me of my 5 year old learning to make a sandwich. Ah, memories! Yet, I still wonder why Not spread out to taste throughout the sandwich like professional sandwich makers??Obviously, after continuing to order from JJ for years I’ve had good experiences which are what bring me back every-time! I LOVE the Kicken Ranch. Order it with everything!! Imagine having limited lunch breaks, planning a head, ordering JJ and the kicken ranch not arriving with the food. Ooh, the heart break! Frankly, I'm beginning to feel they’re over priced for the lack of consistency. Extremely hit or miss. Its always a gamble. I’m not sure if it’s the hired employees lack of common sense OR perhaps lack of training on the BASIC PRINCIPLES of making a sandwich. I don’t expect it to look picture perfect as the marketing photos but I do expect their promise of receiving a tasty sandwich. Obviously if you can’t spread out the correct ingredients across the entire sandwich - it will not be taste worthy!!!! I can’t express that enough. It’s a huge disappointment because y’all could be more than great if your employees took more pride in their work that would ultimately transition into the consistency needed to increase revenue. Typically on time-I’ll Definitely give em that!

I was on hold on the phone for a bit before she talked to me due to her being in the restroom. She called the delivery guy to see what was the status of my order. And he had just delivered it. At that point it was 220 and I tried to mention politely that it took so long. And she just said quickly in an annoyed tone “I don’t understand what you’re asking. He delivered the order right now. I don’t understand.” She offered a free meal afterwards next time I come in, but this experience really put a bad taste for this location. In the past, I have placed many delivery orders and it always takes at least 45 min to get them delivered - for a 5 minute drive. I do get notifications when the sandwich is out for delivery and it still is consistently 40 minutes. The delivery guy told my co-worker that there was traffic. Wow. Who knows that they do on their drive to a delivery.

Freaky slow. Not a fan of standing around waiting for a sandwich during a pandemic. I was the only person in line.

I ordered online from the Starbucks nearby. I typically do firehouse subs, but I figured this would be a little change. I walked inside and their team is yelling at each other, dropping sandwiches, yelling at me and I'm like I am just here to pick up my order. They ask me my name and I say I'm Natalie and they said they didn't have my order. Then they found my order, but forgot my pickle. Then they yelled at each other because they forgot my pickle. Then they yelled at me, "MAAM IVE GOT YOUR PICKLE". I will probably not go here again for a very long time.

Only had half my order delivered. No big deal, I called them up to let them know. Pretty terrible customer service. Kept me on the phone for seemingly much, much longer than necessary, and didn't even offer an apology. Definitely could work on their customer service skills.

Called them and every time I call they hang up on me I have been waiting over and hour after I finally got to make an order the man on the phone is rude if I called them instead of the fire department like the commercial say we would be roasting marshmallows 👎 Haven't even got my sandwich but at this point I don't think it is coming

The place looked nice. But the food was not up too par. Bread was tough. Ordered a BLT the bacon was cold and greasy. The sweet tea was old and stale. Was there 9/19/18.

Update after phone call from Manager. I will never spend my money here, I will definitely never recommend anyone else spend their money here. It is a shame in May of 2022 people are still using Covid as an excuse for everything. In the hospital district with open sign and all other lights on yet closed at 8pm.

They started intentionally putting less meat or skip out on a meat all together to save money! Got a number 5 from this location twice and it only came with a few slices of salami, NO capicola! This was intentional because it’s not the first time they pulled this off with me!

They never get my order right...I mean how hard is it to cut the sandwich in half and not add cheese. Why does it take so long to drive 5 minutes down the road? Every time I order it takes an hour to get my order.

I’ve visited this location three or four times and on each occasion, I’ve had to request my food to be put in a bag, as if that is not a standard when ordering a carry out order. Poor customer service - extreme!

The bread is tough as a boot and this location is so "busy" you won't get your sandwich by delivery by the time your lunch break is over. Apparently you also can't change your mind and get your money back when you order online when it "left the store" already. Tipped those animals ahead of time too, lesson learned, won't be back, ever.

We are in the midst of a global pandemic and at least two workers prepping sandwiches had their masks under their chin - not covering their nose and mouth. I have enjoyed this location for the last year or so, but this irresponsibility has shown that the customer’s well-being in their establishment is not a priority. I left without ordering.

Ordered a combo at 12:09 arrived at 12:58 then the guy tries to hand me a fountain drink. I didn't order a fountain drink I ordered a bottled sprite. I can't drink fountain drinks. I also asked for the balsamic and they did not add it plus wanted sandwich cut in half. Talked with manager and they couldn't even make it right took my whole lunch for nothing. I ordered 2 sandwiches online for me and a friend at work before our shift started. And right after I placed the order I got a phone call saying that it will be an hour wait because there were no drivers at work yet. Unacceptable.

Sad to say this place went downhill since I first ordered a while back. My orders have taken up to an HOUR to get to me, are made wrong, don't have the extras (even those I PAY for,) etc. I try and send reviews/feedback directly because I dislike to write public bad reviews but their response was for ME to CALL THEM and ask for a manager (specific name who may or may not be there) to get a free sandwich.I order from there because I work down the road and get a short period of time to eat, I depend on their lie of a slogan to get food fast. But when it arrives so late that I'm literally getting ready to go home and lunch time is long gone... come on guys.

I normally go to the other jimmy johns, but after their unsanitary ways, i decided to try this location. This one was worse. They wear gloves but it’s pointless. They take your order, touching the screen, their phone and anything else they need and then make your sandwich. Oh yeah, he grabbed my bread, his phone rang, set my bread on the counter where everyone pays. Then used that same bread. Lol

Sandwich was made incorrect and when asked to fix it they handed me the missing ingredients in a open wrapper and said I could do it myself. If I wanted to make myself a sandwich I would have... wait, I'm married.. I don't make my own sandwiches. Kidding But seriously they are rude and don't make your order correct. This Jimmy John's location just can't get it together. They always mess my order up. This time I ordered two sandwiches. Both to be cut in half. Neither were. Mine was no cheese add avocado. I got cheese and no avocado. I am very curious to see what my wife's has.

I called regarding my order being incorrect after already being treated rudely by the girl with pink hair doin to gos .. then I call and she hangs up and blocks me because I asked to speak with a manager I wasn’t even goin to write this but I have never been treated so poorly .. we never go back to Jimmy John’s and we always order for our office this is sad and very unprofessional !

Today I made an online order of 16 Jimmy John’s Boxes. Around 20 minutes later I received a call from the store that they do not have sufficient bread and it was going to take around 2 hours and a half to complete My order. How a sandwich store is not prepared with sufficient bread for 16 sandwiches on the weekend? It is unacceptable. I finally got tacos for my team members.

Terrible store...Manager disrespectful, bread sucks. Save your money and time. Not worth the hassle, they will screw it up, and when you let them know, they will say we will give you credit but they LIE. Will NEVER order from them again.

The worst Jimmy John’s in DFW. I work with an organization that often provides lunch for teachers. I do this on a weekly basis. And this location is just absolute garbage. It starts the minute they answer the phone. They are rude. I told them I was placing the order for the school and will bring my tax exempt form. Upon arrival I offered one of the workers the tax exempt form and they refused the form and informed me that the taxes have already been removed and there was no need for the form. I was in a rush so I paid and left. After inspecting the receipt the next day, I saw that taxes were charged. I contacted Jimmy John’s and the guy who answered the phone told me there was nothing that could be done because I didn’t call same day. A colleague of mine had a similar situation at another Jimmy John’s and they gave them a gift card to go towards another purchase. I thought how smart and customer friendly. And then lastly the teachers complained that there was no meat on most of the sandwiches. Really sucky franchise. I will go to the Jimmy John’s I’m Grapevine before doing any business with this location of Jimmy John’s.

I really enjoy Jimmy John’s but I had a bad experience with the customer service. I ordered online and there was some sort of glitch in the system so it took my payment but never submitted my order. I let Matthew, the staff member know what happened and showed him the completed payment on Apple Pay. He told me I needed to dispute it with the bank and still pay for the sandwich I had already paid for. I ordered another sandwich and paid again and requested a manager. He told me that he was the manager on site. There was no customer service at all. He could clearly see the order I made on the app, the amount it totaled to and the amount that was charged on my Apple Pay that showed the date and time the payment was made which was about 10 minutes prior. It would have been simple enough to honor the payment that he could see was made and just make the sandwich but instead I had to pay almost 30 dollars for 1 sandwich because I paid twice and have to go through the dispute process with my bank.

The worst Jimmy John’s in DFW. I work with an organization that often provides lunch for teachers. I do this on a weekly basis. And this location is just absolute garbage. It starts the minute they answer the phone. They are rude. I told them I was placing the order for the school and will bring my tax exempt form. Upon arrival I offered one of the workers the tax exempt form and they refused the form and informed me that the taxes have already been removed and there was no need for the form. I was in a rush so I paid and left. After inspecting the receipt the next day, I saw that taxes were charged. I contacted Jimmy John’s and the guy who answered the phone told me there was nothing that could be done because I didn’t call same day. A colleague of mine had a similar situation at another Jimmy John’s and they gave them a gift card to go towards another purchase. I thought how smart and customer friendly. And then lastly the teachers complained that there was no meat on most of the sandwiches. Really sucky franchise. I will go to the Jimmy John’s I’m Grapevine before doing any business with this location of Jimmy John’s.

I called regarding my order being incorrect after already being treated rudely by the girl with pink hair doin to gos .. then I call and she hangs up and blocks me because I asked to speak with a manager I wasn’t even goin to write this but I have never been treated so poorly .. we never go back to Jimmy John’s and we always order for our office this is sad and very unprofessional !

I really enjoy Jimmy John’s but I had a bad experience with the customer service. I ordered online and there was some sort of glitch in the system so it took my payment but never submitted my order. I let Matthew, the staff member know what happened and showed him the completed payment on Apple Pay. He told me I needed to dispute it with the bank and still pay for the sandwich I had already paid for. I ordered another sandwich and paid again and requested a manager. He told me that he was the manager on site. There was no customer service at all. He could clearly see the order I made on the app, the amount it totaled to and the amount that was charged on my Apple Pay that showed the date and time the payment was made which was about 10 minutes prior. It would have been simple enough to honor the payment that he could see was made and just make the sandwich but instead I had to pay almost 30 dollars for 1 sandwich because I paid twice and have to go through the dispute process with my bank.

Today I made an online order of 16 Jimmy John’s Boxes. Around 20 minutes later I received a call from the store that they do not have sufficient bread and it was going to take around 2 hours and a half to complete My order. How a sandwich store is not prepared with sufficient bread for 16 sandwiches on the weekend? It is unacceptable. I finally got tacos for my team members.

Sandwich was made incorrect and when asked to fix it they handed me the missing ingredients in a open wrapper and said I could do it myself. If I wanted to make myself a sandwich I would have... wait, I'm married.. I don't make my own sandwiches. Kidding But seriously they are rude and don't make your order correct. Same problem for my coworker. Skip this place. Fire house is right next door.

This Jimmy John's location just can't get it together. They always mess my order up. This time I ordered two sandwiches. Both to be cut in half. Neither were. Mine was no cheese add avocado. I got cheese and no avocado. I am very curious to see what my wife's has.
