Dorothy is the sweetest. Every time I visit she has the most upbeat personality. I really enjoy her service.
Great food and great service. I love torchy tacos, and this is the best location.
Hands down, the best tacos we have ever had! They're fun names and fun taste. We tried one called trailer and made it trashy and one bite made us fall in love! The Baja shrimp was so fat we almost couldn't fit it into our big mouths! I'm hoping and praying that torchys catches on so that the rest of the world can know just tell unbelievably good these tacos are! Definitely definitely definitely visit Torchy's Tacos!
The bartender, Tyler, was friendly and has a memory like a steel cage. Watched him treat every customer with the same attention and kindness with which he treated me. Pretty impressive.
This place never lets me down. Nor its bartenders. Katy took great care of us tonight!
Order tacos one at a time, al a cart style between $4 and $5.50 each. What do you get when you find a house divided? Order a Democrat and a Republican because sometimes you can get them in the same basket. Great chips and salsa, good meat, and awesome drinks. Worth the quick stop in!
Fast, good food! Queso, tacos, and drinks are always good at Torchy's. I have never been disappointed with any of their locations.
We love coming to Torchy’s in Fort Worth absolutely the best queso. Dorothy is awesome she always greets us with a smile and welcomes us back. if you are looking for a good place to eat with great customer service come see Dorothy at Torchys.
Always LOVE Torchy's Tacos! The good is great. The service is fast and my server Sunny greeted me with a pleasant and polite smile. ALWAYS love Torchy's Tacos!
Would give more than 5 stars for service if I could! Tyler is amazing! Best service that I’ve had in Fort Worth in along time!
Tyler Brown is your bartender. He is a real asset to your restaurant. He is kind, friendly, and super efficient. He even makes a conscious effort to remember everyone's name! We love him!!! Midtown Torchys
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dorthy for her consistent kindness and affection. She is exceptionally welcoming. I have been visiting this Torchy for many years. Her positive energy is always present. I truly enjoy coming here because of her.
You have to go through the bartender Tyler when you come here ! He does a fantastic job every time, absolutely amazing drinks and great food every time.
Dorothy greeted us with amazing energy and made the ordering process so easy! The food was a 10/10, absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!
Ordered a Democrat (barbacoa) and a Mr. Pink (ahí tuna), a street corn and a $3 bloody Mary. The tacos were excellent. Very fresh, great flavor and generous portions. The barbacoa was not greasy at all and very flavorful. The tuna was seared and very fresh. The bloody Mary was better than expected for a house special and of good size. The only thing that disappointed me was the street corn. It was a little overpriced at $4, but it was a good portion. The taste was good too, but anybody that's had actual street corn from a vendor on the street in Mexico will be disappointed. The place was clean and busy, and the bartender was attentive without being pushy or "too friendly".
I had an amazing experience at Torchy’s Tacos, thanks to Dorothy and Mike! From the moment I walked in, their warmth and attentiveness made me feel right at home. Dorothy was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the menu and offering great suggestions. Mike’s bar service was top-notch, ensuring that everything was perfect and that I was never thirsty. The food, of course, was delicious as always, but it was their exceptional customer service that made my visit truly memorable. Highly recommend stopping by and experiencing their fantastic hospitality!
Really good queso and tasty tacos. Our waitress was very friendly and outgoing.
Delicious. Ordered the green chile tacos. Soooo good. They are a bit pricey. Food is fresh and hot and flavors are on point. Busy location. Wanna go back for sangria.
Tyler, the bartender, was on point. I came on a whim bc of him, thinking I would never come in again bc they didnt have the ace of spades. He was a fantastic server and talked me through how I could order my favorite taco under the new rules and I am no longer a never torchys taco man.
This place is always amazing. I had the taco of the month, the midnight cowboy, man was it awesome. I also have my usuals, a brisket taco and shrimp taco. They are always delectible and savory. I wanted to get their amazing sodas but looks like they switched them out from their Maine Root Sodas, which is a huge blow, because the are amazing sodas. The atmosphere is relaxed and super cool with homage to the baby devil.
Downtown Tyler Brown is the best bartender in town! Lovely drinks abound! No finer cocktails to be found. What's your favorite noun?
Torchys is such a fun spot to grab a beer and delicious taco’s. The queso is the standout dish. You can order it with chorizo or just with green chiles. They have a variety of different tacos from salmon to Jamaican jerk to fried chicken as well as classic meats like carne asada, Al Pastor and brisket
We had a large catering order and they were so great to work with and had no issues getting the food! Would recommend this place for future large party orders.
Tyler is always the best to us! Lucky to not only call him a bartender but a friend. Make sure to go see Tyler at the bar on week nights or Sunday mornings.
I love this location at Ft. Worth Midtown. The food is always great. I usually sit at the bar. Tyler is fabulous. His service and attention to detail is always 5-Star. The great food, beverages, and service keep me coming back. I typically visit this location 2-3 times per week. I highly recommend this Torchy’s location.
Bartender Taylor Brown gave us amazing service! The best service we’ve had in a long time. He made sure everything was perfect and was very attentive. Definitely recommend
Tyler was an amazing bartender! Very conversational and an amazing bartender. Tim is an amazing manager too. Came over and checked on us a couple times to see how our food was and how our visit was going. Definitely coming back in the future.
Was having a hard day so I decided to stop and grab some food, I had a wonderful interaction with Sunny. She made my day better and I left feeling much better, will be coming back for Sunnys service:)
In a city with lots of options our bartender Katie made Torchy’s a must go place. With the food to match this will definitely be where I come for my tacos in Fort Worth!
Dorothy was an exceptional server. She explained the menu options well, and has always made this place feel like home. She’s the greatest!!!!!!
Our bartender Tyler was awesome! Only negative was that Thursday Night Football wasn’t on due to it being on Amazon Prime.
I am there first thing in the morning several times a week. Mike is awesome - always courteous and efficient! I love the experience I get each time I walk in the door!
I gave the service 5 stars because of the young lady who waited on me - Dorothy. I am a frequent Torchy customer and every time I visit, Dorothy greets me with a smile. She also makes it a point to ask about my day, and somehow has the gift of making me feel welcome. For me, she’s the one who makes a good taco, great.
Love this place, food is always consistently great and the Taco of the Month is always fun to try and switch things up. Tyler is the BEST bartender, super nice and makes awesome cocktails!
Morton is an absolute LEGEND at Torchy’s Tacos! From the second we walked in, he made us feel like VIPs with his friendly smile and awesome energy. Morton didn’t just serve us; he made our whole afternoon. He was super attentive, cracked jokes, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even when the place got busy, he handled it like a pro, never losing that amazing attitude. Torchy’s is already amazing, but Morton makes it NEXT LEVEL. If you go, ask for him—you won’t regret it! Morton, you’re the real MVP! We’ll be back!
First time going with my family. Been passing them for a while and have been wanting to try. Very inviting atmosphere, smells good, looks good and taste good. The queso is delicious and the soft taco I had was amazing. We drove 20 mins to get there and was worth it. My mom/sisters love the place glad they introduced it to me.
I order online from this location pretty often and it’s always ready and correct when I pick up! Employees are also nice about checking on you when you walk in to pick up an order. This spot gets really crowded at lunch. There’s a parking garage if the lot is full.
We are frequent Sunday and Tuesday customers and we go these days for the great tacos and queso but also the bar tender Tyler. He makes the best drinks! Love it!
This is a chain, but the food is well crafted and very very tasty. As a lover of tacos and the mix of tastes that a corn tortilla wrapped around a mixture of protein, vegetable and a tasty sauce gives you. This place delivers. The wait can be 10-15 minutes for your food at peak hours but enjoy your drink and wait for the wonderful tastes coming your way. They have some wonderful combinations, get them on corn tortilla and “go trashy” by adding Queso to any taco. Counter service and plenty of outside space makes this a casual dinner very happy.
Kudos to the bartender katey!!!! It was my first time here and she went above and beyond to explain the menu and pointed me in the direction of the taco of the month. El pastor with pineapple was the best combination. I sat at the bar she greeted everyone with the same energy!! Love it!! And the food was delisious. I will define be back🥰
My very first time trying you guys and Mrs. Dorothy was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She was very patient, knowledgeable, polite and kind as she helped me decide on my meal. I am definitely returning and sending my family as well as my friends to this location…my NEW place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner❣️
Very clean and customer friendly, which was surprising since my wife and I had dinner right before closing. I had the Democrat, Republican, and the Taco of the Month. All were fresh and not from left over from lunch. Very impressed with the food and service. Highly recommend, not too far from the airport and in an area I would feel safe and there are plenty of hotels around.
Katey is an excellent crew member. Personal, rememberable and she's remembers your name. Above and beyond customer service. 10/10 main t ason I keep coming back. Also your happy hour is off the chain!
Tyler Brown is surely not only the best bartender in Fort Worth, but also one of the best people. Every time I come in he makes me feel like a VIP, and he makes me feel as though I’m a close friend of his. He gives great recommendations and great conversation every time I go to Torchy’s!!
My visit to Torchys Tacos was great. The food was absolutely delicious , the tacos bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. Besides the incredible food , the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I also wanted to give a special shout out to America , the cashier. She was incredibly friendly and made our entire group feel welcomed. We’ll definitely be back !
Really good tacos for a chain. They have a fun menu with provocative names. I got the Republican, the Democrat, and another I don’t recall the name of. The staff are nice. The food came out quick and was fairly priced. It’s a lot of food for the money. I also got a sweet tea and queso. The tacos were so good I went back for another. This may be the best chain taco restaurant I’ve tried yet.
First time to eat at Torcheys! Their unique menu captured our curiosity and excitement and it was close by to our appointment the other day. We got the trashy trailer park taco, the republican and the tipsy chick taco along with street corn and queso with chips. Oh my gosh all of it was so good! Well definitely be back! The only downside is that you fill your own drinks (except for alcohol) so that means no one comes to check if refills are needed. If you are drinking alcohol you'd have to get back in line in the middle of your meal. They serve your food, but that's as far as personal service goes. If I'm providing a tip when order I expect full service wait staff. Other than that We LOVED it!!!
Amazing breakfast burrito! The salsa Roja and tomatillo were both excellent. We will definitely eat here again!

I really enjoy the tacos (Democrat on corn) and drinks. Friendly vibe. Personable bartenders. A vegetarian in our group is very happy with those options.

Mike the bartender was very attentive. The runner brought us out tacos. Beer was cool and delicious, avocado taco is the best. The only problem is not a pet friendly. Good patio and bar. Plenty of parking, there is a free parking garage. My crew decided to eat at torchys tacos. Great choice
I know this is a fast food chain and customer service isn't the top priority, however, the person behind the register either was having a horrid day or hated his job, regardless, it was an unpleasant ordering experience (which is why the minus one star). I came for these iconic chips and queso and WOW, this is how you do queso! Melty, creamy, savory, slightly spicy flavour explosion of heaven (it's even perfectly dippable cold as leftovers!) I also got the airstream salad w grilled chicken without dressing and was shocked at how fresh, light and flavorful it was especially considering you don't come to Torchy's for salad. There is also a prickly pear lemonade at the soft drink fountain which was delicious! I know understand the hype and it's well deserved!
I recently moved to FW and all of the locals told me I needed to come here. Torchy's did not miss! The queso is some of the best I've had and the democrat taco was super delicious. The prices are a bit high for one taco but I believe they offer specials here and there on the app. The staff does a good job at coming around and cleaning tables and bringing your food out when it's ready. I will definitely be back.
Good overall! It wasn’t very busy but I still waiting a long time for my food and it was a little greaser than I’ve had here before. Still delish tho
I HATE the kiosks. It makes it feel like a Taco Bell. It cheapens the experience. If I wanted Taco Bell, I would go to Taco Bell. Kiosks were annoying, and a line built up bc people were slow to use it to put in an order. The only thing that made me stay was the bartender Tyler who kind of salvaged the entire situation. Tyler is always amazing. He took our order And made sure we had everything that we needed. Now, we only go in on days that he is working and order for the bar. Generally speaking… Anywhere that has self check out or the kiosks will lose our business. The staff in combination with the food make it worth going.
A solid place to enjoy some Tex-Mex food. I went with a large group of people who are in Fort Worth for a conference during lunch. We all enjoyed different items from the menu that were all very tasty. I enjoyed a burrito myself. They had horchata available for those who like the beverage which was a plus. The counter staff was helpful for helping us order.

The food was pretty good but it takes a while (like 30mins) for the food to be delivered to our table. Not sure what happened in the kitchen since the place was not even busy. There was no one in line to order and plenty of empty tables. I compare this to the one we went near TTU that was super busy and took less than 15 mins to get our food. Not sure I will come back due to the wait time. My friend's food was delivered in the brown paper bag for to go even tho her ticket has the "eat here" comment on it. Too bad I didn't take a pic of her brown paper bag 😑
Going to eat has taken out a new meaning for modern day restaurants nevertheless even without table service, service here still lacks. The food is ok, big portions but no flavor, nothing that satisfies that food craving. All the flavors in the tacos just cancel each other out, so you don't really know what you are suppose to taste. The set up of the restaurant is good, and has some flashiness to it, that the only thing that appears to be good here.
Food is pretty good but the wait time is ridiculous. Only 5 people waiting for food and it’s been over 20 minutes not a single person has gotten their food yet. Edit: when my food came out it was also cold..
Every time I order from this location, it is literally hell trying to find parking even if I’m ordering pick up. The black lady that works in there I believe she’s a supervisor is always so helpful and nice and make sure to get you whatever you’re requesting. It always takes forever to put in an order. If you are ordering there it’s normally only one person at the counter and the customers there are freaking terrible. I had two people run right into me and didn’t even say excuse me or sorry or anything. I was astonished. if I can help it, I will not be back to this location. The tacos are pretty mediocre.
What I loved about Torchys was their friendly staff and speed to order your food. Now it is all kiosks even for dining in! Now it will be longer to order bc adult beverages require auth code from server which everyone has to flag down. Note to self - when doing a to go order....Better off using app because the kiosk asks silly questions and not a quick add to order - and the last question asks for gratuity - seriously? Hard to give extra when Im not greeted nor is someone helping take my order.
Great food as always, but this is the third time they have forgotten a couple of my items. Always check your pick up orders.
Great food as always, but this is the third time they have forgotten a couple of my items. Always check your pick up orders.
Love me some Torchy's, but the parking is bloody atrocious, and they don't have coffee.
I ordered online, but still waited about 15 minutes after arriving, to receive my order. The Democrat Tacos were cold and the meat had a slimy texture. I also ordered The Lil’ Nookies, which are supposed to be deep fried cookie dough balls, topped with powdered sugar and cherries. They were missing the cherries and powdered sugar. Extremely disappointed with this place.
For the first time ever, I had issues with my order. I finally just gave up and kept it. They were not friendly about it either, and I NEVER/RARELY ask for an order to be fixed correctly. Super disappointed.
Food is good but takes either 10 or 40 minutes to arrive. If you get queso you never know when it will come out. Place relies on bar service instead of family done in experience.
First time going here to this restaurant . No one at front counter to help w kiosk questions we had. That was the only way to order at that time . Wasn't able to find or order the $20 special for 2 selection we wanted .
While we Love the food, service can be subpar at this location. The kiosks are slow to respond when ordering and often time out. We have had issues with getting the correct food we have ordered the last 5 times we have come to this location. We will be going to another torchy's where we don't experience these issues.
October 4th: My wife and I ordered 2 chicken tacos, 2 fish tacos, guacamole, and 2 sodas. Total cost was $40. The guacamole was plain smashed avocados and some crumbly cheese on top. Absolutely disappointing. The tacos were an absolute let down. How did we get to this point of paying $6 for a taco hastily thrown together? 1 star. The tacos came out very fast and my review isn’t a knock on the service. They did a good job taking our order and getting food out fast, suspiciously fast. 3 stars. The atmosphere has a nice theme and it’s clear a lot of effort was made here. 5 stars. Overall review was a 2. Torchy’s is a disappointment unfortunately and we won’t be eating here again.

I haven’t been in a year or two because the food is over salted. They gutted the menu and took two times to get my order correct and the salt is unbearable. Queso had carrots on top of it. Not sure what that’s about. I am just not a fan.
Food quality has gone down, food amount is smaller than what was previously served. Cashiers replaced with clankers and now wait times are terrible. Clanker kiosk wouldn’t allow reward redemption with torchys account. Overall food was cold and lacking in flavor wait times exceeded 30 minutes. Do not recommend this location try another one. Parking is also terrible.
TERRIBLE service from the bartender on 11/12 @ 6:40 p.m. This place is a joke to pick up to go orders. I came in at the patio entrance and they had all the orders sitting there waiting and bartender told me I had to go wait in the long line of 10 plus customers ordering food to pick up my order that was already sitting there ready. She literally couldn’t take 5 seconds and hand me my order. RIDICULOUS. Had to stand in line for 15 minutes and let my food get cold when she could of easily handed it to me.
Last 2 visits were horrible. Nothing about Torchy's seems like it used to be. Mediocre at best. Lower quality ingredients than in the past. Dining room looks dingy and service is blah. There is no soul in the building . Yet another venture capital run chain that is heading to a Torchy hell.
Waited over 20 min for food. Asked a person bringing out food, about our order and finally after 25min we get cold food. Not the first time getting cold food after a long wait. Will not be back.
I give up. The order kiosks are so challenging the cashier at the one staffed spot waive you over to avoid using their “tortured” ordering system. Because of this system I’m sure they staffed down. So ordering is slow. The kitchen is slow. And woe be it if an Uber order does wrong. I’m taking this off my list of preferred taco stands because it needs the attention of management that it is not getting.
I kept hearing about Torchys and I was looking forward to it. What I received was cold and bland food. I've never been to a taco place where the tortilla breaks apart on its own from being so cold. The place was not even busy there were only 4 customers in there. My recommendation is to skip this location and a few blocks more to experience better food.
Waited 20 minutes at the front waiting for someone to help us out got no help and when the bartender finally came out to the bar she just asked what are y’all doing? I explained we’ve been waiting 20+ minutes and she said well we’re busy if there’s no one up front then we’re taking care of business in the back. There was only 2 tables eating place was not busy to wait 20 minutes 2 tables a total of 6 people in acceptable

Torchy's Tacos Fort Worth: Damn Good Eats and Standout Service
Alright, Fort Worth foodies, let's talk about a place that consistently delivers on its promise of "damn good tacos": Torchy's Tacos. I recently swung by their Fort Worth spot, and let me tell you, it lives up to the hype, whether you're grabbing a late dinner or an early morning bite.First off, the vibe is spot on. Even when my friends and I popped in right before closing, the place was surprisingly clean and the staff genuinely friendly. You know how some places get a little weary towards t...
Fort Worth's Torchy's Tacos on Thornton Street: Damn Good and Damn Friendly
Alright, Fort Worth, let's talk tacos. You know the name, and if you haven't been, you're missing out on some seriously good Tex-Mex. I'm talking about Torchy's Tacos, and specifically, the spot on Thornton Street. It's become a go-to for many, and honestly, after hearing what folks have to say, it's easy to see why.The food here? Consistently tasty. I've heard from folks who've popped in for lunch with a whole conference group, everyone grabbing something different, and every plate coming ba
