Really great burgers, friendly and fast service. Cody and his team were so kind, vibrant and full of smiles. He was an amazing (and handsome, ladies….if you’re looking) server! He even offered to cover our food up so we could go out and watch the Cattle Walk and would make it in time 🥹. Thanks for making my son and I’s experience a 10/10! Signed, Your customers from Atlanta 🫶🏾
It took us around 15 minutes to get a table inside to eat. We ordered a Wrangler burger for 13.99$, something that is specific to the restaurant and coke ($3.39). We loved how fresh and delicious the beef was. Fried potatoes were authentic, too. I loved the way they served it: no fork, just a knife and bare hands. (: I would definitely come back to taste other foods they serve. Attached the current menu with price lists.
We went to Trail Boss Burgers about two weeks ago on a Saturday, and it was extremely busy shoulder to shoulder through the Stockyards and packed everywhere you looked. We had a party of eight and were quoted a 45 minute wait, but it honestly ended up being shorter than expected. The staff was very accommodating and handled our large group really well despite how crowded it was. The service was great, especially considering how slammed they were. Everything came out pretty fast for how packed the place was. I ordered the Wrangler burger, and it was really good. It could have used just a tiny bit of salt, but they had salt on the table. One small pinch and it was perfect. The ranch was amazing. The regular fries are more like classic frozen style fries, but the sweet potato fries were super good, and again, that ranch really made it. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, which was amazing, and the wings, which were solid as well. Overall, we had a great dining experience. For how busy it was, the food quality, speed, and service were impressive. We would absolutely go back the next time we are in the Stockyards and would definitely recommend it to others.
We sat outside, in the front, and received great service, even as a party of 9. The burgers were all great and definitely recommended their signature sauce! The fried pickles were great and the portions were big. We did wait much longer than quoted, amd had to check in numerous times while waiting. But I'd say it was worth the wait!
I absolutely love going here every time I visit the stockyard. Service goes a long way with experience so I would have to acknowledge the high quality service of Olivia as well as other servers every visit. I’ve never had a complaint her at all. Olivia especially makes the experience so much fun and entertaining rather than an everyday basic meal experience. I recommend this place to anyone coming to stockyards.
We were looking for a place to eat while visiting the Stockyards and decided to stop here since it’s right in the middle of all the action. We all ordered burgers and agreed they were excellent! We also tried a side of wings, (we always have to try wings if they are on the menu) definitely worth adding on. The outdoor seating off Exchange Ave. was a great bonus it offered a perfect view of everything happening around us. Overall, a great spot to grab a bite when visiting Fort Worth!
I went here with my family, and we had six burgers all cooked very well and tasting great. Nobody left their plates empty. Edgar, our server, was very attentive with refills and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was excellent, and his service was even better. I can guarantee that everyone will be happy with the service he provides. This is a great spot for families and even for a date with a significant other. We’ll for sure be back!
We recently visited Risky TrailBoss Burger’s and were blown away! We both had the buffalo burger—mine with added bacon—and they were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and a great size! We also enjoyed some crispy tater tots and I had the sweet potato fries, which paired perfectly with sweet tea. 🍔🍟 What really made the experience top-notch was the incredibly friendly staff. From the host to the bar guy to our waitress—everyone was amazing and had such great attitudes. Even the folks dining there seemed to be in great spirits. You might have to wait a little bit for your food, but trust me, it’s worth every second! My personal burger rating: 8.2 My wife’s burger rating: 10 Overall restaurant rating: 9.6 🎉 We love trying new places and featuring them on our YouTube channel, “It’s All About Food & Places,” and Risky TrailBoss Burger’s is definitely making it into our lineup! 🤠😁 Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for a great burger and even better vibes!
Great spot! The service was friendly and fast. We sat in the patio which was perfect and fun to watch the activity on the street. The food was delicious… got burgers of course (one with egg and one with BBQ) … the fries honestly could have been hotter (they were barley warm - but everything else was so good and they still tasted good - just would be good to serve while hotter). Would love to come back. So glad we stopped here! ❤️💥☀️
ATE HERE SATURDAY, MARCH 30, 2024 (late dinner) If you’ve been to the Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago on Michigan, then this is your place. Similar in aesthetic visual but with a southern theme. The food was great. My daughter and I got the jalapeño cheese curds for starters. Those rocked! The right amount of heat. We ordered the wrangler burger. Hubby got the cheese sticks and fries. The burger was cooked just right. Juicy and not mooing. Same for the Mac n cheese that came as our side and cheese sticks. Not sure if because it was nearing closing time, or staff was tired but there was no welcome or enthusiasm. Our waiter was good. But again, not much personality. Sadly, I neglect to take pictures of our yummy food. But take my word for it!
The burgers at this place are just phenomenal. They are huge and flavorful and there's many to choose from. The fries are a little unimpressive, just some unsalted crinkle fries, and the philly cheese steak was bland. We did love the fried mushrooms and pickles, and the mac and cheese was delicious as well. It also doesn't hurt that the staff is so friendly. It's a great place to stop for a bite if you're walking around the stock yards.
I recently dined at this restaurant, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The outdoor patio is absolutely stunning, creating a perfect ambiance for a relaxed meal. The vibes watching different cars, horses , carriages was amazing. The staffs were really friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a combination of great food and a delightful atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a meal while basking in the sunshine on their patio.
The food was good. Burger was thick & juicy. My grandma enjoyed her Vegi Burger. Beans were very watery, tho. Suspiciously, they tried to sit my mother and grandma at the back of the crowded restaurant 🤨 When there was a perfect open table at the front with a nice view of outside. They insisted on sitting at the front, and the host obliged. But it's set an uneasy vibe when I arrived later, so minus -⭐️
We came to the stockyards for the first time in 10 years living in DFW. It was extremely busy, but the restaurant was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The food was decent, the Texas twisters circular potato chips and onion strings were great, the BLT was good, and the burgers were OK, a little over cooked, but edible. The staff, ambiance, and patio were the best. We got to watch the cattle drive from the table, luckily the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. It's a good spot with average food and great service from what we experienced.
Found it to be a decent spot, especially if you’re looking to soak in a bit of that classic Stockyards vibe. The ambience definitely stands out—it captures the rustic, Western charm of the area and creates a casual, laid-back setting that’s great for a relaxed meal. The food itself was good, though not particularly memorable. The burgers were well-cooked with a decent balance of flavors, and the portions were satisfying. While nothing on the menu truly wowed me, it’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a solid, no-frills meal. Service was prompt and friendly, which added to the overall experience. It’s a good choice if you’re in the area and want to grab a bite while exploring the Stockyards, but perhaps not a destination spot on its own. Overall, Tailboss Burgers is an okay place with a pleasant atmosphere and decent food—worth visiting if you’re nearby and in the mood for a casual burger in a Western-themed setting.
This establishment falls short of expectations, with the burger being the most disappointing. The bread was excessively soggy, the meat lacked flavor, the tater tots were dry and unsatisfactory, and the overall experience was exorbitantly priced. I feel deceived and demand a refund. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment, as it is not worth the financial investment.
