Great experience at this location today for lunch! It was clean, service was fast, seating options were good, food is always consistent. The main reason I wanted to write this review is because of the service we received from Ash today. He is absolutely a light! Had such a positive attitude, was so friendly, and left us smiling. He deserves all the praise and deserves a big ol’ raise! Thank you Ash and the rest of the team :)

Sacha greeted my team with a contagious smile and wonderful vibe. We came in from out of town for some business meetings and this was the highlight of our week. The taco menu is unique and inspiring. I wish we had one of these in Phoenix!!!

Velvet Tacos was a great experience and we have been multiple times now. The staff is awesome, super friendly and helpful. The margaritas are quite good and an excellent deal at $5 for the summer. Love the hot sauce and how much heat it has. I appreciate the interesting vegetarian options and the highlight was the beer battered cauliflower and the fried paneer taco. Also love the WTF menu because you get to try unusual but often awesome tacos. Enjoyed the guac and chips (but definitely squeezed in more lime for my preference) not a huge fan of the elote dip though. Husband loved the shrimp tacos and is excited to try new ones.

An amazing taco place, but definitely a premium experience. This is not a place for cheap eats. That said, everything here is insanely delicious. You won’t regret a little splurge to eat here. The best taco I’ve had is the Indian tikka chicken one. I get it again and again.

This place is so good, best place to hit up after the clubs. It stays open until like 3/4 Am. Has some of the most unique tacos and bowls I have ever had, and not to mention some tasty red velvet cake. Natalia and the management are awesome and made us feel so welcomed and made sure we were satisfied with our order! Thank you velvet taco!

The first time I came here I was surprised by the tacos here. The waiters were very friendly. When they saw us standing there looking at the menu, they asked us if we wanted an introduction and would recommend it to us. The tacos here are as good as the waiters. Each taco is unique. If I have the chance, I would like to try every one! their tater tots with egg are also one of the things you must try!

It's okay, definitely not the best tacos around. They are interesting but they seem almost half baked. The shrimp taco tasted more like guac and tomatoes than shrimp? The quesobirria tasted like a hard tortilla rather than birria and cheese? And don't even get me started on the consomé... It's more salt than anything else. I've tried 4 other different tacos and the verdict for me is everything is done to grab your eye and look good, but it all just turns out meh. It's not bad, but every combo I've gotten the highlight has been the gauc. So I will suggest the gauc, but for tacos ehhh. I'd go somewhere else.

Service was good. We asked the cashier for recommendations specifically with nothing spicy. We took her recommendations but suprisely all the food we got was really spicy. I couldn't barely eat it. Before leaving the restaurant, I asked another cashier and she explained that mostly all the sauces and the guacamole have jalapeño. My advise would be, If you don’t like or tolerate spicy food, this is not the place. My recommendations for the owners is to instruct their employees better and also it would be good to sale not spicy food.
