Davio's - Foxborough

While eating at an establishment across the way from Davio's we googled their menu. We ordered the chicken parm eggrolls for take-out and picked them up when we left the other restaurant. They were so good. We will be making reservations to dine here! 4/9/21- we dined in tonight and we will be back very soon. We had reservations and were greeted and brought drinks right away. Everything we had was very good and came out hot. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

This was my first visit. We scheduled our dinner before knew there was an event. However, we had no problem with parking (lot 23). The service, food, and drinks were excellent. I am gluten and dairy sensitive and enjoyed all my food options. I had the tuna tar tar, sea salt potato, mushrooms, steak.

Service was impeccable and their food extremely tasty. Mac & cheese and the brussel sprouts were the best I ever tried. On the pricey side.

We can't love this place more. Amazing. Next time we decide to spend the weekend at Patriot Place? We are eating here, again. Service, food, everything was amazing. Highly recommend. We both got 10 oz filet mignon and split brussel sprouts (which were amazing!), asparagus...and I got a dessert.. which I had to get, because why not?! Check them out if you can

Great Northern Italian steakhouse in Foxboro Patriot place. The menu is pretty extensive and has a lot of options beyond the standard steakhouse menu. The tuna tartar and the Caesar salad were great appetizers. The spaghetti was perfect for my son and I enjoyed the slow roasted beef rib over broccoli rabe and horseradish mash potatoes. The Baked Alaskan = pistachio cake with strawberry ice cream and encased in toasted marshmallow was fantastic & unexpected!

Excellent as always. Our food was cooked to perfection. Our server was so sweet.

The menu is brilliant. Whether you choose appetizers, mocktails, wine, main course, or dessert, you can't go wrong. The staff is friendly, professional, witty, and top quality. It's definitely pricey; however, it is worth it.

Our waiter was very nice and we had a great start to the evening. He made a nice suggestion that I try the scallop dish and I really loved it. My boyfriend had the flat iron steak and it was cooked perfectly and very tender. The wine selection is amazing here, the list goes on and on, I definitely suggest getting a bottle or two if you have a group! The dessert cart is so fun, I love seeing what I am ordering. We were here after thanksgiving and their holiday decor was very cute. I would come back here!

Espresso martinis poured table side were phenomenal. The popovers were a little dry but the buttercream fixed it. We shared the buratta with flavorful tomatoes, prosciutto and micro greens😋

My wife took me to a very romantic birthday dinner and it was amazing! Our waitress was attentive but never annoying. Service, food and drinks were exquisite.I definitely recommend this place.

There wasn't any parking spaces immediately in front of the restaurant but the was plenty within a 1-5 minute walk from it. The chefs special seafood linguini was amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and I noticed all the wait staff was attentive to there tables. The food came out quick. The fresh bread was amazing...tasted like a cheesy croissant. Once you finished you main course a cart would come out displaying the options the pastry chef could make for the night. It was visually pleasing to see a sample of your desert before ordering a fresh one to be made. The coffee was delicious and hot. It was a wonderful first experience...especially for a birthday celebration.

This was the second time my wife and I visited this location, and it was even better than last time. We will be back for sure. Great food, drink, and service.

My fiance surprised me with a wonderful dinner here at davios! First time coming here. Its beautiful inside our server Olivia was amazing. She really knew the menu and the drinks and gave great advise as to what she thought was more tasteful food and drink wise. We will definitely be coming back and definitely would love to have Olivia again as our server! Great job and keep up the great work.

Davios was an absolute standout. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience great. The service alone would make us come back. The food, though next level. I had the sea scallops, and they were cooked perfectly: tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My wife ordered the Cod special and it was just as impressive, fresh, flaky, and seasoned spot-on. You can tell Davios takes pride in both their food and their people. An all around fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and recommending it to friends and family.

We dined at Davio’s Foxboro on Sunday February 15, 2026. Our server, Zhanna S. was exceptional. She was the best waitress that we ever had. Her personality and energy enhanced our experience. Davio’s is always great but Zhanna made it even better.

We had a great experience here. A week after a less than desirable one. The waistaff was attentive and the hostess was personable. They comped us for an appetizer from the previous dinner. The food was excellent.

The atmosphere was very nice and the wait staff was excellent. Our server, Sean, was chivalrous and attentive. The place was clean and we dressed for the occasion. We did not like that the bar patrons dressed down, and were close to the tables, but other than that, no complaints!!

Had really high hopes when visiting in early October, I'm from the area originally and always heard great things about Davios. It was ok, not amazing for the prices. We had a seafood risotto and a spaghetti with red sauce. Honestly the best thing was the popover at the beginning of the meal. I'd try again and order other things off the menu, maybe it was just an off night. Service was great, except the food took a very long time. Atmosphere was great. Thank you

Had Davois for the first time the other night. Started with the draft Davio's blood Harpoon. Thought it was pretty good. The bread they put on the table is awesome. Had the lobster risotto which I thought was okay. Finished the night with some creme brulee. Thought it was pretty sweet, but good. For the price you pay, not blown away with the overall experience. Had high hopes. Would try it again and possibly a different dish. Our waiter was pretty good. Tough to get good photos of the dishes. Pretty low light setting.

Ordered the veal rib chop , (rib-eye bone-in). Was cooked medium-well, asked for medium, but the entree was plated nicely , server was very attentive! Chicken Caesar salad was fresh & crisp , chicken was moist an seasoned well.

Fine dining just steps away from Gillette Stadium. Davio's offers an excellent variety of dining options and some of the best steak I have ever had. I highly recommend the 18 oz. Ribeye, the Kobe beef meatballs, the truffle fries and spring roll sampler. The service was excellent and prompt. My only complaint was the female bartenders were starring at us in a very odd manner at random times during the meal. Very strange behavior teetering on rude. Happy Travels! Party of 15. Got a bunch of appetizers. Spring rolls are ok. Calamari is good, meatballs are good, chicken livers are excellent. The 10oz filet was good, spinach and rizzoto were great. House red wine was excellent and the bread pudding was good. Service worked hard taking care of a large group and did a phenomenal job.

Food was acceptable, service fine for a moderate restaurant, don’t expect fine dining level service. Biggest issue is the host stand. They really need to improve communication. When I checked in woman told me she would let me know when table was ready, i had reservation, 15 mins later i asked then we got seated. For a reservation seating at a good restaurant is instant. Turns out they had texted table ready but she never told me they would text me. It makes the dining experience start off subpar. Served warm champagne. Rest of food fine but overpriced for what it is.

I have been here a few times and was very underwhelmed by our recent dining experience. The pop overs were clearly reheated and had lost all moisture. The gnocchi I ordered was so hot that the sauce had liquefied, and evaporated the flavor. My husband’s brisket was OK, but not bursting with flavor. The tart we ordered for dessert was completely bland as if they left out the sugar! For such a expensive dining experience the food should have been a knockout. Will be eating elsewhere.

We chose Davio’s to celebrate a family birthday and had high expectations, as we’ve enjoyed meals here before. Unfortunately, this visit fell short—service was slow, my scallops and popovers were overcooked, and even the molten cake was disappointing. I hope this was just an off night, but it does make me hesitant to return.

The chocolate lava cake with vanilla gelato dessert was delicious. Our server, Ian, was great. Unfortunately, I keep searching for a restaurant that will cook a piece of Salmon as ordered, especially for the prices charged by Davio's. Again my search did not bear fruit. Ordered my salmon medium rare with some red still inside. What I got was fully cooked through salmon. Tasty but still not as ordered. It's amazing. I can cook just about any piece of Salmon properly on my own hard to control outdoor gas grill, but no restaurant can do the same. How sad. I don't know why they train their bussers to take away the bread, butter and bread plates as soon as the appetizer is eaten. Never seen that before.

Arugula salad way to salty. Salmon entree was bland and tasteless. Requested red pepper flakes for the special of the evening. Waitress came back and the kitchen was out of red pepper flakes. How does that happen? Expected a lot more for a restaurant that is of this caliber.

We had a reservation for 8 people, was kept waiting over 45 minutes as table was not ready. (-🌟) Waitstaff was excellent, professional, attentive and friendly. Two of the eight dinners were not cooked correctly (-🌟) and were brought to the manager on duty attention, but no action was taken. Another two dinners were cool to the touch.(-🌟) Personally, my NY sirloin was cooked perfectly, though I was not pleased to pay $11.00 for a side order of asparagus and $8.00 for a small side of fingerling potatoes as the meals are al a carte. We were disappointed they were out of cheesecake, though offered on their dessert cart. One person in our party called and spoke with management and was told "they would need a few days to investigate". It has been over a week and, as of this date, no return call has been received. After all was said and done, was it worth $900.00? No, I think not.

Took my son out to dinner and tried to order a ribeye. They served me a sirloin instead , and when I questioned it they attempted to convince me it was a ribeye. I’ve been grilling steaks for 25 years and can clearly tell the difference between the 2 cuts (even though the lighting was so dim, requiring me to use my cell flashlight). Either way, I clearly was not happy with the $80 steak I had just purchased , since I told them such (both the waitress & manager) and barely ate half of what was in front of me. No apology, offer to take anything off the tab, or a complimentary dessert. There are way too many other steak options for me to even step foot in a davio’s again.

DO NOT celebrate a birthday here if you plan on bringing your own cake. Or in any case. My ill husband and family came here to celebrate his birthday, and we were told that we could not serve the cake we brought due to fear of "allergens". We had never heard this before, and therefore were shocked. We offered to take full responsibility for any allergy we might have to the cake we brought, and no one else would be eating it, but we were refused. So we had an average to below average meal (39 dollar bronzino with nothing but a lemon on the plate with it), in a noisy, crowded room, and no dessert. The manager would make no exception, and nothing was done for the birthday of my husband-- not even a piece of their cake with a candle. We left disappointed and hungry, and will never come back again.

It seems that if you go here during a concert, You’re not at a high-end steakhouse. Our waiter was great, but he was clearly very busy and it took him a while to come back to our table. When he brought us our martinis, he brought them in a scotch glass because the restaurant didn’t have any clean martini glasses, which was ridiculous. If you need to go to the bathroom, give yourself 15 to 20 minutes because the restaurant just lets people come in off the street at patriot place to use the bathroom so there’s 20 people in line. When I complained to the General manager, she said that there was nothing that she could do about it. To go there and have dinner and spend $600, I should be able to go into a clean bathroom not have to wait 20 minutes to use it.

This is my second time here. The first time the food was just mediocre and so was the service. We visited again for date night and same thing again. The entrees were not good. Pasta was so spicy and the steak was tough, and the service was good, but not friendly. I have no problem spending a few hundred on date night dinner as we always do, but when the food isn’t good it’s aggravating. Could’ve had comparable food at a chain restaurant.

We went to Davio's this past Saturday night with friends for a fun double date. My husband ordered the half portion sausage pasta as an appetizer before ordering a 10oz steak with potatoes which we had to return as they were basically completely dehydrated and inedible. As soon as we left the restaurant my husband complained of stomach discomfort and on our way home he got violently sick. He threw up 3 more times. He is pretty convinced it was the sausage in the pasta. We called Davio's and asked to speak to the manager the response was very disappointing. They didn't show any real concern on the issue. The only compliment i can give this place is the service. The servers were kind and attentive. The food, be careful what you order. We paid almos $500 for the 4 of us for a weekend ruined.

Came here tonight looking forward to a good meal with my boyfriend and his parents. Popovers were the star, my sangria was solid, cannot speak to other drinks as we only got wine. Our dinner reservation was at 6, we didn't get our 2 appetizers for 35 minutes after ordering, and then our meals ( 4 steaks) for over an hour. The sides came out a solid 5 minutes after the steaks. The filet mignon was dry and bland and BARELY warm, as if they had completely forgot about us and they had been sitting there for a while. No apology for how long the food was taking, almost like it was normal??? Only thing that would make me want to go back are those popovers. Overall, unacceptable for a over $500 meal.

Since you do not allow posted reviews on Open Table, I will post on here. One of the worst experiences I ever had coming to a Davio’s. I have eaten here as well as the recently closed one in Braintree countless times. Big mistake booking for Valentine’s Day dinner. I booked this a month or so ago, for a 7:15 reservation. Arrived at 7pm and checked in, it was absolute chaos with people waiting. I asked the hostess when I checked in, how long till I will be seated? She snapped back” I don’t know, we just started seating 6:45 reservations, we will text you when your table is ready” So I said to my wife let’s get a drink, we could not get a seat at the bar and ordered a drink and hung out on the side of the bar where I see, 4 empty booths. 7:30, they started seating people. 7:45, I There was a young kid at the hostess station, I ask him any idea? He tells me my table is not ready, ask him of an idea? I don’t know he tells me. I guess “ I don’t know” is the universal answer for , your ain’t sitting any time soon. There was a couple that was standing next to us for some time, overheard my wife and I conversation and commented they had 7:45 reservations, they were concerned how long it was going for them to be seated based on our wait. 8:00, they get their text to be seated. Seriously? I told my wife to go up to the hostesses because I was going to lose my mind with one of them. 8:10 we get brought to our table, while I walk past 6 empty tables. Oh, no rose for my wife, every lady in the place received one, including women who were seated after us. Tables that were occupied when we left. I was aggravated and lost my appetite waiting. To add insult to injury, I ordered the Eggplant Risotto. This is what i got, 3 slices of eggplant topped with spinach and some spoons of risotto.(See picture )To say I was disappointed is an understatement, I finally realized this location is a Monday to Thursday restaurant because they cannot handle large crowds. 4 Stars were for the food servers.

The door greeter was amazing! Server was good but the chef was terrible we ordered the philly cheese steak egg rolls they took 30 minutes to come out and then came out burnt we sent them back got them back burnt again. They claimed thats how they look. I’ve been to the braintree, backbay, & seaport locations and they have NEVER looked anything close to that. Ordered a steak medium well came out medium - medium rare at best. The whole arrangement took around an hour or more so we didnt bother sending the steak back and waiting another long wait and still having it come out wrong so we bit the bullet still tipped 25% and just left. Do not recommend terrible experience all around i love davios but STAY FAR AWAY from this location!

Waited 30 minutes for a simple burger! And it was lousy! The fries were so bad. I can’t believe that Davios doesn’t have good fries. Then the bathroom was in disrepair! Hole in the wall were the toilet is connected. Pee or water on the floors. I couldn’t believe how bad the food and environment was, given the name and supposed reputation. I’m on disability, I expect good food when I eat out. I hate wasting money.

I'm giving this one star... Everybody beware... We booked a private room this past weekend for a wedding welcome party and wanted passed hors d'oeuvres and an open bar for about roughly 150 people.. well they wound up charging us for every single drink instead of including it as a package, which is what we had asked for... When we got the bill, we almost died.... I don't understand why It was set up this way.. she kept saying it was in the contract? but we had just been going back and forth by email. We had written down our menu choices and thought that things were set to everybody's satisfaction. I felt like it was very sneaky and underhanded and I'm sad to say that while the rest of the wedding weekend was absolutely perfect... This was a real bummer... The general manager tried to gaslight us by telling us that they never do single price open bars that it's always based on consumption in Massachusetts when the night before we had a price fixed dinner/drinks event at Tavolino's for 30 people so... Shame on me, I guess... I've thrown many parties and never had an experience like this, but shame on them for not seeing this spiral out of control and not say something. Note: 3 weeks later... After a conversation with a manager... I still not heard a peep back from them... So I see that over 800 people have seen this I might keep posting it until we get to a couple thousand... I'm still aggravated

I was visiting from our of town and decided to give this place a try. I asked to sit outside, and since I was the only one out here, my waitress was visibly annoyed; didn't even introduce herself. She brought out water and said she'd be back with bread...I received chips. I ordered a glass of wine and a burger. Now, they're were seven people totaled at the restaurant and I waited over 20 minutes. She checked on me once. The burger I had was ok at best. I don't need to come back here again.

I held off on posting this review but it has been nearly 1 month since our visit and I still think about it. My family and I went to Davio’s in Foxboro for a nice dinner just before Christmas. We were not able to get together for the holiday and this seemed like just the right spot. Some drove up from the outer Cape and others from Southern RI. Nobody in our party had ever been to a Davio’s before but we had heard great things from friends and family, a few who had even worked at this location. Our reservation was for 4 people at 4pm. At this time of day, on a Tuesday, there were only a handful of other tables in the restaurant and only one nearby enough for us to see. About 10 minutes after 4:00 our server, Christen O, approached our table with no introduction and took our drink order. After returning with our drinks she took our dinner orders - no specials were mentioned. Our food was delivered to the table and one of the meals was cooked incorrectly. Our server never came back to our table. When the rest of our party was nearly done with their meals and all of our drinks had sat empty for the duration of our meal, I approached the host stand and asked for a manager as it had been nearly 15 minutes. The manager, a shorter blonde woman, came over and was relatively dismissive. She took the incorrect meal back to the kitchen for correction. Still Christen had not come back to the table. The incorrect meal was brought back out to the table and was still cooked incorrectly. The meal was accepted anyways since our entire party had finished eating and the manager said she would bring out a new side of green beans (we did not ask for them) and left without so much as an apology. Eventually a side of mushrooms was brought to us, but not the beans. Once our server finally came back to the table she did not offer an apology for being unavailable for the duration of our meal but she did comment that she was told a meal was incorrect. As the final meal was eaten, there were a couple staff members who were circling our table and staring at us as we finished-overall super uncomfortable. Our server approached one last time with our check. She did not offer coffee or dessert, which we would have gladly ordered to enjoy something together, but she did mention that they took off the one meal we had an issue with. She was given some feedback from our table about our disappointment with the experience. Christen took our feedback immediately to a couple other friends standing a few tables away pointing to us and speaking amongst each other. Rather unprofessional. Overall, the food tasted delicious but the service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. The atmosphere was ruined by the restaurant staff pointing to and speaking about us in viewing distance. After this experience, I will NEVER recommend Davio’s Foxboro to my friends and family. When eating at a high-end restaurant I expect guest experience to come first. From service to management, I encourage you to do better for your guests.
