Servers are very kind. They offer a variety of seating options and warmth. The menu offers excellent Mexican food to suit whatever your hunger level might be. Great drink options and the ambiance is sensational
This place had great vibes, cool decor, and staff with personality to boot. What followed was the great food, with the staff being fully knowledgeable about the menu and helping us with our questions and anything else we needed. Would definitely go back!
Still golden after all these years! The tostones are a must-have and I even enjoyed their No-tequila 'Rita! The enclosed patio is my favorite place but the rest of the restaurant is also cool! I had chicken enchiladas and they did not disappoint! A true Seattle gem that still holds up!
Love El Camino. High quality, chef designed Mexican food. Great drinks, tequila and mezcal selections. Super cool atmosphere.
They have such great food! The carnitas tacos are bomb and such a steal during happy hour. The manager Peter is super on top of everything, very friendly and definitely made sure our table was taken care of. Overall i definitely recommend El Camino!
Peter is hands down fabulous. He has always made our experience 10/10! So consistently warm, welcoming & helpful. & of course the food & drinks ALWAYS hit! When you come to El Camino, you support good people and a high quality spot!
One of the best Mexican food places I've been to around here. They make real Mexican food, not the tex mex sort of style that has gained popularity. I love the lighting, and the servers are great. It can be super busy, but only because it's so good. Go give it a try!
I loved it! It’s such a cute place for my bachelorette brunch with my friends. Julia was our server and she was great so friendly! Everyone here took good care of us awesome hospitality! They kept our table clean and made sure we were okay & everything food and drinks came in such a timely manner I loved it. Peter was amazing at the door so friendly and welcoming.
Went to this old Fremont stand-by recently and was pleasantly surprised. I forgot what a great vibe it has with really nice outdoor and indoor seating options and great decor. The food and margaritas were super solid, exceeding my expectations, and the service was laid -back, but attentive. The only negative was that our lunch came to $82 before tip, so $100 with tip and we didn’t order that much. I asked for a paper receipt but was never given one, so I suspect there was a service charge or something and then we tipped on top of that. I’ll stick with my 5-star rating because we really did enjoy the experience even if it was on the expensive side even for Seattle.
I won’t lie, I’m skeptical of Mexican restaurants in Seattle, especially in Fremont. This place pleasantly surprised me and exceeded my expectations. I’ve been a few times now, and each time I’ve had amazing service. The decorations and layout create a beautiful atmosphere. You can’t go wrong sitting anywhere, but I especially loved the covered patio. El Camino has it going on! I got the nachos with a few mods (I’m picky) and it was delicious. Don’t knock the crispyness, I loved the flavor!
Highly recommend El Camino!! I brought my family here, and everyone loved their dishes and drinks. We ordered a variety of food and everything was amazing!!! My favorite had to be the birria hash and the Mexican French toast. Their horchata and Jamaica had very unique flavors that we loved. My father said, "Now this is how Jamaica should taste." Staff was so friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be coming back soon!
A nice restaurant in Fremont Seattle. I was looking for a Mexican within walking distance of my office. Came across this while walking. We ordered shrimp tacos and chicken burrito along with some Mexican beers. Everything was delicious. The staff here was polite and the atmosphere was great.
Both the service and food were a 10/10. I got the birria burrito and it was the best burrito I’ve had in my life. The only drink I had was the Mexican eggnog and it was pretty good for the price. The flan was also delicious; perfectly made ✨Overall, I spent about 120 something but everything was worth it! The service was also great! Our server was attentive and friendly 👍
My first dining experience at El Camino was amazing! When I first walked in, the festive, cozy atmosphere was a welcomed strong contrast from the deluge of rain. I was greeted kindly at the door by Stephanie when I asked to sit at the bar. I sat in front of the service well and Samantha, the bartender, was fantastic! She was pretty busy, but was so kind and attentive to my needs and was also very knowledgeable about the food and beverage menus. I was torn between the chile relleno burrito and the birria burrito so she guided me towards the latter, which was so flavorful! I almost finished the entire thing when she told me to save room for dessert and I'm glad I did because the Pastel de Tres Leches was also awesome -- it was airy, moist, and not too sweet. Her drink suggestions were also very well made and appealing to my palate; I had the Grande Mezcal, a shot of Casa Noble, and the Mexican Holiday Egg Nog to end my night. Overall my experience was a 10/10 -- the vibes were just right, the food and drinks were awesome, but the staff is the reason why I'll be going back soon. And on that note, I would also like to shout out Stephanie and Thomas as well. Thank you everyone for making my first experience with El Camino a memorable one and I will be back to try out the chile relleno burrito!
The vibes in this place were so fun, loved the restaurant and the atmosphere was fabulous. I loved the music playing the whole time, it’s like they had my playlist! Food was delicious super flavorful and tasty. I’m not Mexican so I can’t speak to authenticity as much but it was delicious. The service was good, could have been a little warmer and inviting. Overall a really good experience and I would definitely come again!
We went for happy hour. Our waiter/bartender was great (pictured). He made me a Margherita from scratch to cut down on the sugar. Yummmm! The food was delicious. We ate off the happy hour menu. I recommend the"wet burrito". The vibe and atmosphere was perfect. Now I know why it's my daughter's favorite place.

My experience at El Camino Mexican restaurant in Seattle was truly delightful. We went there as a group of eight friends for a get together. For Appetizers, we started with Nachos in carnitas and vegetarian options. Both were delicious. Then for the main course, most of us ordered enchiladas with prawns, chicken and vegetarian options. The flavors were rich and satisfying, a true homage to traditional Mexican cooking. We also tried Birria which was mouth watering. It had the right amount of spice after adding a few drops of the red sauce that they had on the table. The service was attentive and friendly, making the entire dining experience memorable. They made sure we were always attended whenever we had our dishes selected. In the dessert menu, we all opted for pastel tres leches and chocolate too. I would highly recommend this place for the authentic mexican cuisine.
Service was excellent, as were the Margaritas. While the food was enjoyable, the menu descriptions leave a bit to be desired. We were surprised to find a deep-fried element in our dish that wasn't mentioned.
Happy hour deals here are SUPERB! Definitely hit the Happy-Rita and don't sleep on the burrito. Staff were welcoming and even had books for my toddler to borrow during the meal. Great decor and vibes.

The place is kind cool and rough. service is fast and very good. The food felt genuin and was Well executed, overall a great food experience.
Nice vibe, central location. Plentiful street parking and a garage nearby. The staff is friendly but forgetful. They were apologetic but with a reservation we waited 30 minutes for a table, orders were forgotten or never put in. Service was slow. They stated they were understaffed and I understand, but a better option would be to limit seating to what current staff can handle. Everything was delicious and they comped the forgotten items, but I probably won’t return.
Tldr: nice vibes and decent food but expensive My partner and I wanted to share a burrito and so they cut the burrito in half for us and plated each half so nicely. They also have a really nice back patio and it's nice in the summer. The food is good as well. They charged us for extra salsa without telling us though. I wish we got the heads up since chips and salsa was already $7 and lots of Mexican restaurants give that for free.
The atmosphere is great. Well decorated. Sadly the food was below par. Chips were stale, guacamole thin and tasteless (could tell extra ingredients were added to extend it.) This was not an inexpen…

The food is always good here. The service was almost nonexistent. The busser was our hero of the day. I saw 3 people working. A manager, a busser, and one host/server who seemed to be helping literally everyone in the building and outdoor patio. The busser was the main person who helped us out. The manager was just walking around acting busy but not helping his staff or a single customer. We are very low maintenance people, and I had to get up and find the server for everything we needed, including the bill. Will I be back? Maybe. It won’t be my first choice. But only because the service was totally nonexistent for the costs of the food and the experience. Either hire and schedule more staff, or maybe the manager could pitch in and help if staffing is low. I worked in the industry for many years, so I’m calling it straight with my observations.
