Live music on Friday night, a fun ambience, friendly people and wonderful pizza!
I don't usually eat pizza, except for theirs, which always amazes me. Their beer is also a pleasant surprise. It's a great place to hang out with friends.
Nothing tops mission pizza. Most solid and perfectly delicious pizza in all of Fremont and the East bay tbh. Get the ranch its fantastic. Hella brews on tap so legit.
Food was excellent as always. Pizza came quickly and was great. I don't do anything complex with my Pizza, I always get the pepperoni pizza here. Pepperoni, crust, cheese all tasted perfect. The place was not too busy, and the tables and chairs were clean and organized nicely. I stayed and watched a bit of one of the NFL wild card playoff game, and generally had zero issues with watching from where I was sitting. I would definitely come back again, and order food here.
The BEST pizza ever! My family has been eating here since I was a kid at their two Fremont and Newark locations. The food and service has been consistent at all of their locations. We moved to Oregon in 2020 and we cannot find any decent pizza here. It's so depressing! Mission Pizza is our first stop whenever we go back to visit Fremont. I miss you guys so much. (you guys would make a killing out here in Southern Oregon ;) ;)...just sayin. lmao)
Great pies. Sometimes live music. Good tap selection. Mission Pizza is a good template for a pizza parlor.
Laidback ambience, friendly staff and delicious fresh pizza. We got a half and half, wild veggie and mission pesto. The crust was thick, crispy. Toppings on the wild veggie were interesting, craisins, shaved almonds. Will visit again!!
Let me say this: My wife doesn’t like pizza at all. Even when we travel to Italy! But she loves all the pizza we ordered here tonight! This place have very nice vibes for enjoying a meal with pizza and a few drinks. L love all the different beers on the wall and the beer tabs on the center rafter! The pizza crust is super crunchy but thick. All the ingredients are fresh and very generous in portions. You need to have 6 to 8 people all come at once so you can try different toppings all together or keep coming back to try them all!
Mission Pizza 🍕 is awesome!! Great taste, great menu choices, clean, staff friendly, great band on Friday nites. Serves beer, chicken wings, arcade games & more. Call order in ahead at least 30 mins-one hour. Highly recommend Best pizza around!!
I’ve been coming here since the 90s…. The pizza is among the best I’ve ever had. They had some unusual choices. Two of my favorites are wild Wills and Kyles cashew chicken. Another favorite is the 55 Bacon cheeseburger pizza. Of course, they have a wonderful pepperoni and I’ll meet combo and all the regular stuff too. The beer menu is gigantic!! You just can’t go wrong.
This is my favorite pizza place without a doubt. I grew up on their pizza (since their old location close to Mission San Jose) and use them as a quality comparison when I go to other pizza places. My favorite is a pesto pizza with just sausages on top. But there’s plenty of other amazing options. When I think of old fashion Fremont before all this rapid development in the city, I think of the atmosphere of Mission Pizza with the walls filled ceiling to floor with vintage beer & hot rod memorabilia, the arcade section for kids, & the small stage for their live music events. This is one of the few gems still left in Fremont.
This is my absolute favorite pizza place in the tri city. I live in Livermore and will drive here for the lunch special. I personally like the mini size because it’s a great deal and the crust is thinner. Very generous on toppings. On busy nights the wait can be an hour or more so it’s best to order ahead. They have an awesome selection of beer on tap. Andrea and her staff are knowledgeable about the beers and will offer advice and samples if you ask. Lots of space for seating. Great spot for a party or work event. Live music on some weekends but I haven’t seen a live show there in over twenty years (when I was a teenager living in Fremont).
Wow, if you like pizza, then you have to give this place a try. It's not the franchise pizza joints. Pizzas are made fresh, and have lots of toppings; not like other joints that glob it over with imitation cheese and a bit of toppings. We even tried some unique pizza they had, like the Bacon Burger pizza, minus the pickles and onions (picky boys). Pros: free parking, easy to find with Google maps, large enough inside to pack a football team, and then some; taste is a 11, (do have to wait a bit, about 20 to 35 mins for pizzas to be handmade); lots of regular patron when I went in; owners have a NY attitude that I don't mind - other might find it rude, so don't expect them to be your servants. Cons: parking lot is small and space is limited: restaurant was a little darker than I like it; most of the seats are bench style; make time for them to make your tasty pizzas. Will definitely visit again.
I love coming here! The staff is always friendly, greets you by name, the food is awesome and the beers are frothy & cold. They have several different pizza selections, but I usually get a mini pepperoni & cheese. There's outside tables & benches as well.... A great spot to meet a friend for a beer! 1/19/19 I've tried their calazones as well, they definitely don't skimp and you can put 3 toppings of your choice inside.
Very good pizza for California. Actually one of the best. It would be between one and two stars in Europe. Nice place to stop for beer. Great friendly service. Haven't been here for many years. Will stop by again for sure.
Astounded by the high rating for this establishment. It must be for the live music and reasonable cost because the pizza is downright terrible. The first few slices you will eat, but after that, you will find yourself pulling off the cheese and toppings to eat and then tossing away that lousy crust.
Came here on lunch from work. I noticed they did slices so decided to order that because we were short on time. The lady at the counter asked the cooked if they had slices available and he said yes. I thought it would take a few minutes to warm up the slice but it then took over 20 minutes. Got the slice and was not aware it was a thinner style pizza so I went up to order another one. I thought they miscounted the last slice and had to make a new pizza because of the time it took to get the slices..so I was expecting it to only take a few minutes. I waited 7 or so minutes and then went back up to the counter. Turns out they half bake the slices and they require 20 minutes to make? If i knew this I would have ordered a pizza and waited or called in my order instead of waiting for the same amount of time. The slice was just ok too it wasn't anything special the crust tasted like it was frozen.. not sure if it was frozen or if it was due to half baking the slices? For 7 dollars a slice I would expect a lot better.. In my opinion during lunch hour make a pizza or two and if somebody wants a slice you can just warm it up in the oven in a few minutes? I've never seen slices done any other way.. The End
