Food was good and the all you can eat option is great if you can at least eat however much you paid for the all you can eat. You can order multiple rounds so you don't need to order everything at once and there is a limit of how much you can order at once. For dinner all you can eat is $40 per person as of writing this review.
Great all you can eat sushi $27.99 per person as Reasonable Price. Sushi was very delicious and these are made of quality fresh ingredients. Parking was easy to find.
Sake2me is a one of the few AYCE sushi restaurant in the bay We went for dinner and after tax and tip it came up $51.85 per person Their sushi selection is vast and even offer nigiri if u want that over the other rolls Parking is ample as its a huge plaza and seating can seat about 60-70ppl. But if u come at high times might needa wait 1-1.5hrs Overall sushi was great and would definitely come back if I’m feeling ayce sushi

The fish to rice ratio is perfect. Unlike other AYCE where they fill you up with rice. We would definitely go back.
A local joint in Fremont better known for their fresh and wide variety of AYCE sushi! Its pricing is reasonable, the proportion is good, not too heavy on rice, and staff is friendly and efficient. We absolutely love the nigiri’s here!

I've been here twice now and had a good experience each time. I've came once on a weekday lunch and another time on a Saturday dinner and didn't have to wait for a table (in fact, weekday lunch seemed to be busier). I've opted for the premium menu because we like to order nigiris and it's a good value for what you get. They give you a paper menu to write down your orders for each round and the food comes out in a timely manner. The fish is fresh and good quality. There's a good variety of things on the menu, but I like their nigiris, carpaccio, and rice-less sushi. But my favorite thing about this place is the rice to fish ratio! They give a small amount of rice compared to fish which I like cause I get more bang for my buck. That's pretty much the main reason why I would keep coming back. My only suggestion would be for the servers to offer to take the next round's orders sooner to avoid having a gap when eating. It almost seemed strategic that they would only come around when the table was empty. I like to keep the food coming at AYCE!
Better than the sushi you would get at a buffet style restaurant, but likely not as good as your favorite Japanese restaurant, sake2me sushi in Fremont is one of the all you can order and eat( AYCE)restaurants in the SF Bay area. You have 3 rounds to order from, and with each round, a pair of diners can order 4 rolls and 10 orders (2 pieces per order) of nigiri sushi. So technically, two people could order 12 rolls and 30 orders of nigiri sushi. I think that's how it works. Anyway, the sushi was made to order and looks good. Taste and quality wise, I'd give it a 7.8 out 10. Others may have a different opinion Portions are smaller than average, but if you can manage to eat 4 rolls and 30 pieces of nigiri sushi in one sitting, portion size becomes somewhat irrelevant. The menu is expansive, and there is a lot to choose from. Service is efficient and friendly. Parking is easy. Sake2me isn't cheap, but neither are its sushi offerings. I would say it's a good value, especially for those with large appetites. Just don't set your expectations too high.
Forgot to pack my to go order for tempura. Ordered udon to go and got home and it was soggy. Would recommend they package the noodles and tempura flakes seperatly so it doesn’t become all mushy
Out of the way but the food is decent. We suggest the nigiri. The mini sushi taco was pretty good and recommended by the staff. There is a great portion of fish to rice. The rice is eh so we opted for nigiri. The desserts aren’t worth it.
It's an AYCE so keep that in mind. Has its perks and down falls for sure. Staff were nice. Food quality and taste good! Service it self was mixed they do a decent job but sometimes orders slip through there were a few times we were waiting over 20 min before someone realized our food got "forgotten" or "given to the wrong table". Another thing is even though the food is good the nigiri specifically is really inconsistent. The first round we got was great but the second there was barely any rice in it. So I guess it depends on who's making it. Over all worth it but def a different vibe than a regular casual sushi spot. 7/10 over all
The wait wasn’t bad during lunch time, about 15 minutes. We upgraded to the course A so we could try everything. The sushi was fresh and I love the amount of rice given per item so you don’t get full off rice. The menu although looks extensive for course A was lacking a bit. I say this because the good stuff you upgraded for you can only order once per person such as the salmon belly and the carpaccio. The ramen tasted like shin ramen but the fried rice was simple yet delicious. I know it’s taboo to fill up on stuff like carbs but I wanted to see the flavors and it was there. The decor was nice and clean in a clean plaza. The service was quick and fast which was a plus. You felt you got orders as soon as you placed them.
Still a great post workout meal. I've been here shortly after opening last year, and noticed the menu changed a bit (no more uni and some other premium items, price). The size of the nigiri is still small, bite sized, and cute. The fish to rice ratio is still good. Service was mostly attentive even though we were seated in the back. But after the 1st round of orders, they took awhile to come back for the 2nd round, and by the 2nd round, the nigiri and rolls felt like they had a greater proportion of rice. Staff were very nice overall, quick to refill drinks. Fish quality was 4 stars for an AYCE, good but could be better; if I rated this as a non-AYCE sushi joint, some items were closer to 3 stars. There aren't a lot of AYCE sushi spots in the Bay, and since this one has easy parking, later hours, no wait (on a Sun evening), and a clean interior, I'll definitely be back!

I'm glad that Fremont has an AYCE sushi spot. This place's menu offers not just sushi rolls, but also a variety of appetizers, nigiri, handrolls, ramen, and even ice cream. Service is what you would expect from an AYCE place, and this place is medium in size, so there might be a weight for a table if you go during peak hours. My tip to you - go with a group so that you can try more rolls and not get full off one on your own haha. My favorite was the nigiri only because it comes with 2 pieces and not too much rice, so it's easier to sample more. Aside from the nigiri, the Shio Saba (salted, grilled mackerel) was also a favorite of mine, so much, I ordered a second one lol. Our favorites: * Shio Saba * Nigiri - spicy garlic tuna, unagi, mackerel, cajun albacore * Salmon Handroll * Carpaccio - albacore w crispy garlic For AYCE, this place gets the job done.

A bit disappointing overall. Pricing could be cheaper for the quality you get here. Fish cuts for the nigiri are not the best, are inconsistent in quality and odd sized. Service is decent, but had to wait 15min+ for each nigiri order. Many of the nigiri / rolls had unnecessary amounts of sauces on them...
This was one of my favorite AYCE spots growing up in Southern California. So naturally, I was very curious to see how the Bay Area location compares! Overall, the nigiri is still TOP TIER. Fish quality was great!! ...but the sushi rolls, not so much. WAY TOO MUCH SAUCE!!! Service was inconsistent, but the staff were nice! Our nigiri always came out quickly, but our rolls kept getting skipped and didn't come to our table until our last 20-30 minutes of eating. My menu recommendations: + Salmon Belly Nigiri + Tuna Carpaccio + Freshwater Eel Nigiri + Yellowtail Nigiri + Sato Roll + Sashimi Salad + Green Tea Ice Cream (!!!)
Updated (1/24). They’ve reverted back to great fish portion for their Sushi Tacos. Nigiri quality has gone down a bit (probably a new chef…as you can see in the pictures). Ordered a roll and it was lacking the kind of fish to rice ratio that I expected (didn’t finish it). I hope they get back to the kind of quality they had when they opened (it was quite impressive). Overall 3.5 stars. Updated (12/20). New Menu selection for AYCE. Quality, unfortunately, has gone down a bit. Sushi tacos had good fish to salsa ratio. Now, it’s 1 or 2 cubes of fish and the rest is salsa. (Original post) Food was great! Fresh fish (ratio of fish to rice is 3:1) and servers were quick (went on a weekday around lunch time). They were constantly asking me if I want to order more. Non-sushi items: Mini Sushi Tacos w/ Salsa, Chicken Karage, and the beef bulgogi Sushi: Spicy Garlic Salmon, Yuzu Yellowtail, Escolar, Mackerel, and Unagi. Rolls: Salmon Skin Roll

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now and finally got to for lunch today. I was disappointed with the food that was served to us compared to the pics that are posted. The sashimi salad was on the fishy side, but the Hawaiian poki was decent. See pic of the Nigiri plate. The fish was paper thin and kids size. It reminded me of the $2 conveyor belt sushi that I used to see a while back.
Sake2Me: Room for Improvement in Execution Sake2Me positions itself as an all-you-can-eat sushi destination, but certain aspects of the dining experience warrant rectification. Here's a breakdown of areas for improvement: * Flavor Discrepancies: The presence of unexpected flavors, such as a coffee scent in the seaweed salad and an unidentified seasoning on the tuna capriccio, detracts from the intended taste profile of these dishes. * Tempura Technique: The excessively thick tempura batter on the soft shell crab masks the delicate texture of the softshell crab meat, compromising a key aspect of the dish. * Quality Inconsistency: Inconsistencies in the quality of the fish, specifically the narrow cuts and lack of distinct flavor, raise concerns about value proposition. * Menu Design Optimization: The red-dot system for premium items, while intended to highlight special offerings, might inadvertently steer diners towards pricier options that may not align with their preferences. Additionally, limitations on the number of red-dot items per person could create a sense of missed opportunity, especially if these are the most desired dishes. While the restaurant's staff exhibits commendable professionalism and dedication, addressing these shortcomings is crucial to creating a more consistently enjoyable dining experience.

I used to really enjoy this restaurant a few years back — the fish was fresh, the quality was there, and even the all-you-can-eat rules felt fair and reasonable. It was a spot I’d recommend to friends who wanted good sushi without feeling like corners were being cut. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was the complete opposite. The fish was bland and tasteless, a far cry from what it used to be. The rice was hard, dry, and completely lacking that subtle vinegar flavor that makes sushi rice enjoyable. Without it, every bite just fell flat. The appetizers didn’t help either — most were uninspired and poorly executed. The menu now feels focused more on quantity than quality, with heavy, flavorless rolls designed to fill you up rather than showcase fresh fish and balanced flavors. On top of that, the all-you-can-eat rules, which once felt fair, now come across as restrictive and designed to push customers toward lower-quality options. The only bright spot was the staff — they were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. Unfortunately, good service alone doesn’t make up for disappointing food. What used to be a restaurant I recommended has now become one I wouldn’t return to.
My friend and I came here based on an Instagram reel. Don’t let the pictures fool you. If you get the regular deal, this is the kind of quality you can expect. I’m so UTTERLY disappointed. I drove an hour to get to this location and look I don’t even have to say much you can just look at the pictures. Fish quality was wack. Sushi rice was gluey?????? Fish to rice ratio was WACK. The only thing that was edible were the spicy tuna hand rolls. Idk what everyone else was eating but I did not get the experience I thought I was getting.

If you want to waste $50 and 2 hours of your time, come here. First, I’ve never gone to a restaurant with so many rules and restrictions about how many dishes you can order. For example, you can only order 3 of the sashimi. In addition, the size of the nigiri is literally half the size of any other sushi restaurant. It’s absolutely absurd that this place can even be called AYCE. Second, the time to get your order is at least 30 minutes. The restaurant won’t even be that packed and they’ll say your order is in its way, but if you time it with your phone, you’ll see exactly what I mean. I’ll never come back to this place.
