Maui Maui fish tacos were awesome. They served 3. You had a choice of fried or grilled fish 🐟.I had it fried and they were delicious!! Served it with some side order as well Mostly sea food but had other dishes
The five star rating is largely contributed to our amazing server Jocelyn. She was attentive at the right times, she did not rush us when ordering, she was honest about what she tried/did not try on the menu and had a very calm kind presence about her. The food was good. We had the poke nachos, steak and shrimp. The cheese potatoes were probably the only thing we didn’t enjoy but other than that it was good. The restaurant was clean, nice and everyone was friendly. I mainly came here to right a review for Jocelyn. She made our night.
I enjoyed a wonderful meal with a friend. Joslyn (apologize if I misspelled her name). The ribeye was cooked to perfection the veggies were delicious. The service was amazing. Everyone one that worked there had a smile. I couldn’t finish but a bite of my steak. We had oysters for appetizers so I was full. So Joslyn boxed up my leftovers and I walked my friend to the car. I came back my meal was gone. Joslyn asked the manager Jorge if he can accommodate me. He was so sweet. I was just expecting the steak to be replaced. He actually replaced the veggies as well. That made my day. I appreciate good service not because it was comped. Because he did it with a smile and genuine respect. I would certainly recommend this Resturant for good old fashion service. 10 stars in my book!
My family had a wonderful lunch here today. The food was so fresh and delicious. We started with the Masterpiece appetizer. It had oysters, poke, sushi, shrimp and scallops. Everything had the best flavor and texture. For our entree's, our daughter got the kids fish and chips, my husband got the bone in ribeye and I had the fishermans stew. All came out hot and fresh lol of flavor. My husbands steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. My daughters fish and chips had the perfect amount of breading and my fishermans stew was packed with seafood. Everything was amazing and we will definitely be back.
Good, good, good. 😁 Hadn't seen my buddy in over 5 or 6 years. This place did not disappoint. 👍👍👍 The food was great, *and* healthy. They got bonus points: I got a flight of 4 beer tasters, and while they were out of the single red/amber I was interested in, our female server actually knew what she was talking about in terms of recommendation. Plus, they labeled them. 👍 I'm not a a wine guy, but she even got to talking about good wineries up in Napa, and thereabouts, with my buddy. Really good experience here yesterday!
During our road trip, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The seating area was both beautiful and welcoming, creating a cozy atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. I ordered the sizzling seabass, and oh my goodness, it was by far the most delicious meal I had throughout my entire two-week road trip. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the fish was perfectly cooked, tender, and flaky. The vegetables served alongside were generous, adding a perfect balance to the dish. I left feeling completely satisfied. If you ever pass through this city, make sure to stop by ; it's absolutely worth it!
Great experience! I got the Lobster roll and was pleased with my choice! There were so many seafood options to pick from! The nonstop Sour dough bread !?!?! Amazing! Definitely got me full to finally be topped off by the Lobster Roll! Chefs Kiss to the Chef who made my food! Well seasoned and plated! Enjoyed every bit of it! See my pictures for a before and after !
Our waitress is very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Lobster Rolls, Crab Cake Slider, Harvest of the Sea, Jambalaya, Sweet & Spicy Calamari, New England Clam Chowder. Our favorites were the New England Clam Chowder, Lobster Rolls, Crab Cake Slider and Harvest of the Sea. The Jambalaya with linguini was not what my daughter had expected. It could be better. Overall experience was good.
Update: I had to visit just because we love coming here. It was a very quiet during lunch and just perfect no rush. We had sweets and fish tacos are humongous servings. I couldn’t finish them. Cocktail was just the way I like it. My families go to this restaurant for Alfredo and steak/seafood dishes. They have a spread of cocktails that will satisfy anyone. I had a great experience. The servings are just right.

Ambiance was nice and also clean. Waiters were on top of it on refills and asking if you needed anything. Food quality was on point too. Everything tasted fresh especially the lobster tail.
Decent prices. I always order the Chilean sea bass. The complimentary sour dough bread is nice. Pair with the clam chowder side.

we like to go to Market broiler. They have lots of great fish dishes. My favorite is lobster and their shrimp, which we both enjoyed tonight We also like their tasty bread. service is awesome.
I was craving coconut shrimp and clam chowder and stopped in. The coconut shrimp with the puns colada sauce is bangin! The chowder is decent, good with the bread. Also had the burger which was well cooked and the fries have good seasoning.
August 2025 I visited at lunchtime for a work lunch with colleagues and clients, group of 8. This is one of the nicer sit-down places for a good seafood lunch, especially if you would prefer table service. Weekday lunch was not too busy at 12noon. The lighting inside is a little dim, but not too noisy. Plenty of service staff walking around serving constantly. Due to the large menu with so many fish and seafood options, it took us a little while to order. If you know what you want, it shouldn't take too long to order and get the sourdough bread service. Butter is hard slices in a dish. We had a traditional calamari starter and then individual entrees for everyone. Food took a bit, but perhaps they were waiting for us to finish the appetizer. Everyone was quite happy with their plates. Most people ordered fish and one lobster roll. Photos attached are: swordfish, sliced ahi tuna, and fish & chips. There was a lighter lunch menu with a half portion for anyone who wants a starter and a small plate. Drink service was heavily aimed towards those who ordered fountain drinks (soda, lemonade, and iced tea). Refills for drinks arrived quickly and often, but water for the table required additional requests. Overall, a good place for a non-vegetarian lunch in south Fremont area. Plenty of free parking in the Old Navy parking lot.
Went to Market Broiler with friends around 5 pm on a Tuesday. No waiting. We got our drinks and food in a timely manner. A couple of my friends ordered the same dish (Turf & Surf Tuesday) from their Daily Special Menu for only $19.00. The dish has shrimp ,steak, and a side of veggie and potatoes. I ordered chicken piccata with a side of rice pilaf and broccoli. For dessert, we shared a butter cake topped with ice cream and strawberries. My friends said their dish tasted good and the price is unbeatable. My dish was just okay. The chicken was a bit dry. The broccoli was cooked really well. The dessert was so good. The cake was melting in our mouths, and the ice cream complimented the cake really well. I definitely recommend getting this dessert.
I enjoyed a Ribeye steak. It was fairly priced and paired with bread, potatoes, and asparagus. Also a chimichuri sauce for dipping. It was a bit on the salty side for me but I enjoyed it. The atmosphere feels like many big chain restaurants. If I went back I’d probably eat in the bar as that looked like a decent spot to watch a game.
I don't think the fish was as good or as fresh as other people are posting. We tried salmon swordfish and tuna. Although the portions were medium-sized, I think the tuna was the best of the three. Our server was Destiny and she was awesome. This was my first time so I might try it again. Hopefully, next time I can give it a five like other folks. If not, it will be my last time there.

Service is always good and the ambiance is nice. Got the bone in ribeye this time and it was good. Not a fan of the sauce and the mash potatoes were dry. Good meal overall

Very mid. Not a fan at all. Wen once and was very excited about what I had read. Maybe a bad night, but asked for a table, not very busy, took a long time and then more time for someone to acknowledge me. Got up went to the bar and ate there. Was the food great? OK at best, just nothing tells me to go back.
Went for lunch on Christmas Eve. Plenty of parking spaces. No wait for table since the place was only 2/3 full. The bread was good. Wife said that the Mojito was ok. Her sizzling sea bass was very good. I liked the clam chowder. I ordered fish and chips. It was so so. Very disappointed.
Nope 👎🏻 not recommending it! My seafood pasta had no seafood but only a few oysters that were not even washed clean because I was chewing on sands with every bite. Menu said, oysters, shrimp, calamari and scallops. My dish had none but the oysters. The tomato sauce was too salty. The service not so great. We had to stop the servers who were passing by. The price, good for a fine dining restaurant but this wasn’t one.

We came in for lunch when the place wasn’t busy, so we were seated right away. However, we were oddly placed at a small two-person corner isle table that already had two extra chairs squeezed in, even though there were plenty of larger tables open. It felt like a lazy seating choice for a party of three. We started with the clam chowder and a dozen oysters to share. For my entrée, I ordered the salmon with asparagus and loaded potatoes. Unfortunately, almost everything tasted store-bought or rushed. The clam chowder had the canned flavor you’d expect from a grocery shelf, not a seafood restaurant. The salmon looked great with a nice char, but it was completely overcooked and dry inside. The asparagus only about three or four bite-sized pieces cost an extra few dollars, and the loaded potatoes tasted like the cheese was melted in a microwave with toppings sprinkled on top afterward. The oysters, supposedly a highlight here, were the biggest disappointment. They were tiny, paper-thin, and tasted like they’d come straight from the freezer with an unpleasant aftertaste. Service-wise, the staff lacked attention to detail. We weren’t given enough utensils for the table and had to grab extras from another one ourselves. The only saving grace was our server. She was polite and friendly despite everything else. To top it off, the bill included a $4.95 credit card surcharge. You’re telling me I could’ve gone to an ATM, pulled out cash, and paid a smaller fee…probably $2.95, maybe even $1.95 and somehow that would’ve been cheaper? Ridiculous. In 2025, almost everyone pays with cards. A restaurant charging premium prices should be able to cover a basic processing fee without passing it to customers. Overall, Market Broiler Fremont felt like a place trying to pass off average, reheated food as upscale dining. Between the mediocre food, poor seating choice, and extra fees, this meal was more frustrating than enjoyable. Definitely not worth the hype or the price.
