I’ve been ordering from this location for a couple years, they’re always super friendly and attentive. I do feel like they’re a little overworked and not able to take care of certain tasks in between orders but that’s on management not the employees. Food is always good and made fresh. I always order to go or pickup.

I love 5 guys. I was just there the other day and they were opened. Did something change within the past few days? Great burger with fresh ingredients made to order. My go-to burger place in the area. Staff is always friendly too. I was asked if I needed an additional bag for my CVS medication I was holding. Very thoughtful for them to even ask.

This Five Guys was pretty great. When i went they had plenty of open tables and no line, maybe that adds to the rating. The food was great as usual, the service was great. The guy at the counter was nice, attentive, and recognized my shirts design which is great, because it makes the interaction more human.

Five guys is just generally one of my favorite fast food places already, however this one location is very conveniently placed. In additionally the staff were very friendly when I went and had the brightest of smiles. While waiting, one even asked for my recipts number just to let me know when my order was going to be ready. The food was good like in any five guys and it came quick. Highly recommend.

Workers are nice and polite food always good ..they just need to address Non customers taking up tables this location. This location is most expensive one i should be able to have a table to sit down your paying 20bucks for burger ,fries and drink it ridiculous no seating. I love this place! My granddaughter would give them 6 stars if she could. The fries are so good, and the burger is definitely heaven on a bun. The atmosphere is friendly. The staff is so great. Absolutely reccomend.

Food taste really good and doesn't feel like mc Donald's day for. The meat it's nice and tender and your teeth just cut through. Burger generally has no salt so taking a bit out of sandwich and then dipping a fry into ketchup and eating eating it together is amazing. Only wish the fries weren't so salty

How do you not know about Five Guys Burgers? I yell at my friends and cousins. They have some of the best burgers and most locations like this one can grill up great burgers. You pick and pay for the patty, single, double, with or without cheese. Then toppings are free, they even have A1 steak sauce for that extra tangy saucy flavor. I love these burgers. What's to hate? Fries are ordered separately as there is no meal option. Some of the best fries I ever ate.

I went there over the weekend for a small order, was greeted by a young lady. I never thought I would encounter a friendly staffer at Five Guys, but instead, maybe because of her, I felt everybody was nice there! (yes, I got some free peanuts) :)

The food is amazing and the fries to. The Cashier Jackie was super nice to me she was very friendly and The hamburger is really greasy and good the soda tastes fresher than any other fast food restaurant out there the peanuts are awesome and you can’t tell you don’t like five guys plus they are healthy and free Awesome location and awesome franchise give the whole team a raise!

We came there 5 min prior to closing and the servise was outstanding, the cashier greeted us with a smile, the burgers were done swiftly, I was concerened about that, and after thanking the crew, on lady gave me an extra bag for my peanuts, I think im going to make that 5 guys 9:55pm a reg stop in that area. I’m not a fast food eater but Five Guys fries are the best. This review isn’t about the food, it’s about the service. The workers that work on Friday afternoons are really nice and pleasant people and show gratitude to their patrons. It’s not often you find good customer service but this group has really good customer service.

This is the closest one to me and I travel from southeast Queens over 20 minutes to get here. That should tell you all you need to know. Why do I say that? Because I literally have a thousand options before I get there and when I get the craving for a burger, 🍔 the way I love it, & a milkshake 🥤... then I gotta go to this specific Five Guys. I've been going to Five Guys locations throughout the Northeast for nearly 20 years. Some, like the location in Huntington Station, NY, are hit or miss with consistency of quality control. THIS Five Guys location at Fresh Meadows, on the other hand, is hands down the best store I've had the pleasure of visiting. I took my kids here for a treat on weekday night at prime dinner time. The lady who took my order was welcoming, the cooks were friendly and smiling, and the team seemed to be enthusiastically working. We each ordered a milkshake, fries (regular and cajun) and one hot dog. I'm writing this review because I was so throughly impressed by these simple foods. The fries were spot on- well seasoned, appropriately salted, with a crispy outside and fully cooked yet soft inside; the milkshakes were to the top and thick; and the hot dog and bun had a nice sear and toast. I was sure to let the staff know that it was the best Five Guys I've been to and they truly appreciated the compliment. The team cooking and servicing customers CLEARLY takes pride in their work, with the finished product proving it. I hope the franchisee knows what kind of employees they have. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!

Over the past few orders, there have been instances where ingredients were either omitted or incorrectly added to the burgers. During my most recent visit, I verified the order prior to departure and noted the absence of green peppers. Instead, jalapeños had been included, so they gave me green peppers in a separate container. Furthermore, the french fries were formerly served in paper cups. Currently, they are presented in paper bags, which has resulted in a change in their texture.

Went on a Sunday and the staff there was excellent,professional and friendly. Young lady taking my order was patient when taking my order and fulfilled my requests with great customer service. I believe she might have been one of the administrators. The food is cooked on the spot, as customary, they have seating arrangements inside and out. I would recommend going to this spot!

This Five Guys is our favorite one in New York, you may wanna ask what’s the different with other? Well, most of them taste the same good, but this one they’re really really generous if you order a large fries, they really pull all fries in the bag🤣. We had few Five guys in New York City and other borough, this one is the best💝💝💝

Fries were salty and actually had mold on a couple of them. Worst fries ever, over-priced and 1/2 of them had rotten, black bits. Good hot dogs and burgers although a tad greasy.

I needed a quick bite to eat, so I decided to go to Five Guys. I ordered a large fry to go, but I ended up tasting one, and sat down to enjoy them while they were hot. Omg, the fries are freshly cut and fried while you wait. Who else does this but Five Guys. I was amazed at the quality of the fries, and look forward to going back again.

Food was excellent. Had the Bacon Cheeseburger and it was perfect. I've been here a few times and the speed of service is not bad. Not perfect but not bad. Food makes up for the wait. Parking lot is usually full due to all the surrounding stores. But you can usually find a space. Staff is friendly and hard working. Will try to go once a week for lunch.

My only issue is when they assemble the condiments they put the sauteed onions and mushrooms on top of the bottom bun. As it waits for the burger to cook, it gets soggy, and often results in a burger that falls apart. This isn't specific to this location, they all make it this way. Otherwise the food here was good, and the staff was professional, pleasant, and attentive to customers needs.

I just stop by picking up food. The manager was very rude. I asked him if the order was ready to be picked up. he said no, without checking what's ready.. and when does look and found the order, he said "press the prompt, when i say press you do it" while he say that, he took the order back , like a kid, haha you cant get this 6/6/23 I changed from 1 star to 4 They have improved a lot since then, Better service. Good for a quick bite. Bacon cheese burger and bacon cheese dog are usually what I get. Cajun fries are on the salty side but also tastes good. I like to order online first, pick up to go or dine in.

Good food, burgers cooked fresh not frozen with plenty of choices of toppings. They don't give as many fries as they used to. Seems like there's a lot of turnover at this location. Better than the other fast food burger places around here.

What can I say, I love French fries and Five Guys is the place to get fresh cut, skin on fries. They are actually made to order and are ready in a jiffy. The small size was $4.99 which is a lot, but they do fill your bag up!

I love the burgers and cajun fries. However, the store was a mess. The trash can was full, ketchup dispenser empty, fountain drinks were empty. My overall experience lacked today due to the upkeep of this particular establishment.

I frequent this location. 10/24/2024 9:15p.m. I am not greeted and crew behaved like I was not there. No “I’ll be with you in a moment” “no hello” apparently they don’t make milkshakes at 9:15 pm which is 45 minutes from closing time. Clearly this location is the type that closes the establishment on their terms.

As far as Five Guys goes, this location was below average. My burger was very dry and you'd think they were trying to salt the ocean with the amount of seasoning they put on the fries. But at the end of the day, it's still Five Guys and it satisfied my burger craving.

For fast food this is really good food. Hamburgers are fresh but a little greasy. Fries are also greasy but still some of the best fries I've ever eaten. The food is very expensive for what you get. Dining area is just open tables. No privacy, you can see and hear what everyone else is doing even up at the counter ordering their food. It feels like the waiting area at a public bus or train station. Best bet is to bring the food home. Be advised the grease will soak through the paper bags on to your car seat, may want to bring your own shopping bag. Despite the poor review, this place is worth going to at least once in your life. The food is really good.

Haven't had a Five Guys burger in a whole. However, they are still so tasty but for the price too small. It's fair to say that I'll just have to buy my own ground meat and put it on a grill. Sorry. 😪

Usually i'd have given 4 stars. Their burger is usually pretty good. But for the past couple orders the fries have just been so undercooked. Feels as if staff is just rushing orders..

The worst experience of my life. My order was all wrong; cajun fries were soggy, the chocolate shake consists of white ice cream with chocolate syrup, this is a joke. The employees were not happy be working at this place.

I love Five Guys and eat there a lot (too often!) I always order the same thing. Prices vary depending on the location, but my total bill is usually $13 - $16. At this particular Five Guys my tab was just shy of $20 -- yikes! (Looked at my receipt later-- $3.30 for a soda? $5.90 for fries?) AND... whoever set up the soda machine has it set dispensing way too much soda water and not enough syrup (flavoring). Don't know who is running this particular location, but I felt robbed!

There were a few things I found unpleasant in this place. The social distance covid safety regulation is not followed in this place. After I stated what I wanted for my order, they deleted one of my burgers, and I had to ask them to please put my burger in my order again, (which that was weird and awkward. Why would you delete one of the burgers after I literally said 2 burgers and stated what topings I would like for each burger to have and you typed it all...like, why delete it)?!?!? They also did not make my milkshake. I had to go back to show my receipt and ask for my milkshake, and they charged me for whipped cream, and last minute they tell me...there is no more whipped cream...(BUT they charged me for it). I get it it's not that expensive, but my point is, why charge it when you know there's no more whipped cream? Also I asked for the burgers well done, and one of them was pink, my mother didn't eat it anymore. Didn't like my experience there. Maybe you'll have luck.

On this Friday evening, I decided to treat my family to this chain restaurant. Unfortunately due to the poor service and the absurd behavior the employees were showing. It was not a pleasant experience; had to wait a long time for my order. As I was standing there patiently seeing the employees fool around while there was no workflow control. At some point there was only two employees for a while as the others vanished. Place my order with TYRONE F. and it was incorrectly made and I asked for a regular drink and failed to realize. It was never charged. Besides the mismatch order, the food was a 7/10 but due to my experience. I will DEFINITELY not be coming back to this location.

The staff here is suddenly very rude and unprofessional. We got eye rolling responses, witnessed a manager arguing with a line cook in front of customers, and were flat out ignored when trying to get an incorrect order fixed. That order was also wrong twice. We haven't had an issue here before and are really surprised with this terrible experience. At least the food was still good after they fixed it. EDIT: Nevermind! We both got sick off of it. Fun! We won't be back to this location.

I absolutely love this franchise but was very disappointed in the quality of their food at this location. The beef was a very thin smash burger patty, and the bun was hard as a rock in how stale it was. I will never go visit this location again. Steer clear.

When I went in to pick up phone order 3 food handlers had their noses exposed above Five Guy issued masks. I told manager and he dealt with it immediately. I should have asked for refund and left, but it was my wife's b-day and we hadn't had restaurant food in a year. This was not employees fault. Five guys issued faulty slipping masks to it's employees. All I can say Is beware!

I was racially profiled at this location a couple weeks ago — I ordered online, showed the cashier my receipt via my confirmation email, and the man who packed my order (a different person from the cashier, also saw the prior interaction) refused to give me my order, demanding I show him my receipt despite telling him In detail my order (shouldn’t have had to do that) AND to reiterate, he saw the entire interaction with me and the cashier. To be clear, he withheld my bag of food from me, as if I were a child, and proceeded to speak to me condescendingly. This is unacceptable and I will never step foot in this location (and probably the chain as a whole) ever again. I will also be taking action.

I placed an order on uber eats, the food took forever to come. I asked for my condiments on the side and everything was on the burger! It was soggy and cold. The fries where thrown in the bag. Was very unimpressed spend $55 and didn't even eat $5 worth of it. My suggestion, don't waste your time or money.

Two weeks back to back of making a to go order over the phone 20 mins before arriving and there being no food made for me when I got there. It's one thing for it to be so busy the food isn't ready, it's another to walk into an almost empty restaurant and they tell you they don't have your order at all. Both times I spoke to someone who was clearly in a management position and the most they could offer me was a half hearted apology. No accountability, no remedy, nothing.

Five guys burger was definitely a disappointment while waiting for my meal i observed buckets of fries seating in the floor without covers and floor definitely dirty and grease, one of the staff uniform who was servicing the food her pants had mark of animal hair, I’m Sure if a city inspector walks in they will be loaded with violation. So yesterday March 4th, 2022 I placed an order through the app for pick-up. When I arrived at my expected pickup time, my order wasn’t even being prepared. Other customers were walking in and placing their orders and getting theirs before mine. It was 18 minutes AFTER my order was supposed to be done that I got my order, not 18 minutes of placing my order. I’ve waited a total of 30 mins. By the time I got my order it was time for me to head back to work and clock in. The purpose of using the app is to skip the physical line and get your order ahead of time while you’re at a different destination. Mediocre organization skills are displayed here. The food was still DELICIOUS but it wasn’t worth the wait.

When I have gone there for pike, my food was never ready and I had to wait for a very long time to have it. But their behavior towards customers was just rude. WorstWe had great experience and delicious foods in the other Five-Guy at little neck last week. So we decided to go to Five-Guy again for dinner this time. This one was the closest one. OMG. the fries, cold and soggy. The hamburgers, all three of them, loose, wet and soggy. They seems were right out of the sink, not oven. We had them and none of us felt had the dinner.

It’s 9:36 pm and they told me that they’re close! What?!? The store stated they close at 10pm! That is ridiculous! I understand you trying to close but when you state you close at 10, a customer can still order till it’s 10pm! Not 9:36! This is not how you run a business! This is the first time this ever happen and I’ve been a guest for 2 years now since I work across the street. This is crazy and not acceptable. I never even complain about missing topping or condiments when I ordered in the past but today really disappointing and got me so mad. Never again.

5 guys on 188th was a total disappointment. Indifferent staff, salted caramel milkshakes taste like plain vanilla, no caramel flavor to be found (and they were $6.29, compared to $5.19 each in Bay Terrace). Don't waste your time or money...go to Sonic instead, way better quality & value.

The first cashier was extremely nice. I ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles, mayo and light barbecue sauce, and a drink. First of all, all the drinks in the machines were watered down. But then came the worst part, this specific worker in the back who made my burger gave me a dry burger with only 2 patties, lettuce, and tomato (P.S., I hate tomatoes). When I went in the back to complain, he told me that I could “hold onto that burger” and that he was going to make me another one (meanwhile I had to go to work in like 10 mins). I asked for a refund instead. A third worker had to give me the refund, and the bad worker who made my burger was big mad and super offended. I appreciate the two cashiers who helped me out (in the beginning and to process my refund), but that bad cook has got to go.

The big guy with a beard on expo is goofy, keeps getting orders and not putting them in the correct order and just letting it bunch up. This resulted in orders made randomly, not when they were placed. Because of this I waited for an hour just for my order which is ridiculous. What’s even more crazier when I brought up this issue, all they can say is you just have to wait and that it’s in the RANDOM pile of orders. The biggest slap in my face was when I was already 30 mins in waiting and the manager gave priority to a cops orders. Clearly they can start making your order if you already told them multiple times that you have been waiting for a while. I’ve worked in fast food for years so I know how it is and sympathize with them with how busy they are when a BOGO deal was offered today, but not doing the orders in a correct manner is ridiculous. But thank you to the guy who gave me free fries for waiting but the manager needs to teach how to make his expo person make everything in the correct order, not randomly SMH.

Walked in and was told if I’m not there to pick up, ordering at the window is going to be a 45 minute wait. At 7:30pm on a Tuesday night is unacceptable.

I was here on friday 10/17 on my way home to get some frieds. The cashier had that pissed off and whatever type of looks on her. She was helping out the kitchen when I was telling her about there was no more ketchup in pump box, and she was unwilling to go to back to grab a bag and refill it, but she offere the package ones. The fries are way too oily since the paper bag was soaked with oil by the time I had gotten and I only ate a quarter of it. It was such waste of $9. the bathrooms had water and paper towers all over on the floor.

I sadly probably won't be going to five guys anymore. The food is A+ quality but recently they've been really lowering the quantity. It's well known that fives guys is pretty expensive but the redeeming quality is they give you a lot, especially fries. A regular fries used to give you far more than typical fast food places. However now it's just more of the same and for the price it's not worth it anymore. Maybe other five guys chains are better but the one on 188th St, fresh meadows really gives a lot less fries now.

Five Guys at this location is a joke. The food is expensive for no reason $20 for a burger, fries, and a drink, and it’s still wrapped like a high school lunch. The service is ridiculously slow, even when there’s barely anyone waiting. Staff looks confused, disorganized, and constantly behind and that all starts with the manager, who acts like he’s running a luxury steakhouse just because Five Guys got mentioned in a magazine once. He talks a big game, but clearly can’t manage his team or the kitchen. If you like waiting 20+ minutes for a soggy burger and being overcharged for greasy fries, this place is for you. Otherwise, go to McDonald’s or Wendy’s and get better food, faster, for half the price.

What a surprise I was met with when my uber eats courier handed me a bag with my items but instead of milkshakes I was given two bottled cokes. Rude service, the people preparing the food shoved the bags at me +10 minutes wait, burned fries that tasted horrible. Im never coming back here. My mouth currently tastes like charcoal or a burnt piece of a marshmallow, I would give them zero stars if I could... the bun was really mushy and there was nothing inside of it, no tomatoes, lettuce, sauce, etc. Also the bag was so oily, the tinfoil they placed my burger in was really oily..
