I had the opportunity to have a great meal today at Dave's. I ordered a two meat dinner which included burnt ends and brisket. I opted for double potato salad. The service was immediate, the food was served hot and was delicious. The food and staff exceeded all of my expectations. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite. A quick shout out to my server "Hope" she made my visit fantastic by making sure that my drink was refilled and checking on me during my visit. Thank you so much!

Great service. Greeted immediately upon arrival. I was dining in for a late lunch and there weren't many customers between 3-4pm. Nicely decorated for the Christmas season. I like the paper towel rolls and wet wipes on the table especially when eating ribs with lots of BBQ sauce. Corn bread muffins are always perfectly sweet and savory. Brisket is very tender/good portions. Some pieces of roasted chicken were a little fatty and I would have liked it to be cooked a little more to my liking. I also picked up family style dinner platters to bring home for dinner and it was nicely packaged and ready to go by the time I was leaving. Great experience overall. Thank you to all the employees who are working hard and remain friendly as many restaurants are not fully staffed.

Visit Date: 1/28/2026 – Lunchtime I marked the service as zero stars, but that doesn’t tell the full story. Our server herself was excellent—courteous, attentive, and doing everything she could. The real issue is management and a serious staffing issue that made the experience frustrating. When we arrived, we sat at the bar for lunch, expecting to be in and out within an hour like we are at most restaurants. Another guest was already seated, and after five minutes with no staff in sight, I asked him if anyone had helped him yet. He said no. I had to leave the bar area to find someone, and when I asked a waitress whether the bar was even open, she said the bartender would be right out. When the bartender finally arrived, she did a great job—but it quickly became obvious she was responsible for everything: tending the bar, taking table orders, running food, and managing multiple sections at once. That is not a sustainable setup for staff or customers. Because of the delay, we ended up having to switch our dine‑in order to “to‑go” after already spending 40 minutes of our lunch break waiting. Another ongoing issue: it is consistently cold inside this location. It’s uncomfortable, and it makes it hard to enjoy a meal. I don’t understand how anyone is expected to leave their warm home and pay money to sit in a chilly dining room. Does the owner do that? Would he tolerate that in another restaurant? The food here is great, but the lack of staffing and the uncomfortable environment make it impossible to have a reasonable lunch experience. I genuinely feel bad for the employees who are being stretched far too thin. Management needs to step up—staff the restaurant properly, ensure the environment is welcoming, and support the people who are trying their best to serve customers. Until these BASIC issues are addressed, this will be my last lunch there. Please do better.

Just wanted to mention..I had delivery this time Usually go to restaurant 5 star! But my recent delivery was a great disappointment when my order arrived. Iotdered 2 . Butburnt end plates and dozen corned bread, which is the best But the bursts ends seemed way smaller than I recall or even from picture! I will never order on-line from there again! Going there was never an issue! Usually we have way too much and lgood take homes!! But barely had enough for 3 of us! An unfortunate experience

Was super excited to try this place based on reviews. Ordered for delivery via Uber Eats, so I’m unsure if this has an effect on the quality of the food. Tri-tip, rib tips, and hand-breaded chicken tenders were dry. Tri-tip and chicken tenders lacked flavor. Fries were hard and unseasoned, Mac and cheese was pretty good if you like it spicy. Corn bread was delicious- not dry and flavorful. Disappointed especially considering the price.

the meats were good but DRY . Idk what was wrong w the cook this day. we got the feast plate for 2 the only thing I didn’t like was the coleslaw and the corn . Had higher hopes for this place but really everything came out flat. Service took forever(waiter seemed over worked but was very welcoming), food was almost cold, and the portions were disappointing. 4 small pieces of brisket that were dry and was given the wrong cut of chicken.
