Girl with purple hair gave 💜 us excellent service, food was great posted some pics, salad dressing was awesome we had some green ice cream that was awesome!!! to end dinner!!!! Forgot to take pic of the green tea ice cream but that was the best!! I've had!

We've been dining here for over 20 years lunch & dinner! Fantastic food, terrific staff within a small atmosphere. Definitely recommend as it's our goto for sushi!

My son and I came here for dinner. I loved the sushi and had also ordered a dinner, but I was so full I couldn't finish my meal. The food was amazing, the sushi chef was personable and funny. I will absolutely return.

The service is great, drinks are great, and food is great! I always try to get a platter of oysters (when they've got them in stock!). Their sashimi plate hits the spot everytime. I way prefer coming here than other sushi places in Fresno. When you get a bottle of soju, they bring you these lovely shot glasses (as if I'm not gonna drink the whole bottle, haah). When you leave the waitress and chefs say goodbye. I always thank them for the food! Love it here.

Hands down our new favorite spot in Fresno County. We loved it so much that we came back for lunch. The service is all around wonderful, too!

Always wondered about this place always see if when i deliver to smart and final so i was in the area and decided to try it. Its a place to come and eat. The servers are nice and the guys at the sushi bar are nice as well. Very pleasant and i like how they have a big sushi selection i couldn’t make up my mind. I would definitely come back if im in the area.

Great Place for good suchi. We've been going for years, and really appreciate it. That said, it used to be quite reasonably priced. Today the bill (before tip, which we gave but won't include it ('cause "your mileage may vary) came to $56 for two sushi rolls, (catapillar & red dragon) one order of sweet potato tempura one diet soda and one hot tea. I' ll leave it to the reader to judge the reasonableness of the bill. But (like so many things) today's bill was certainly larger than it used to be not so long ago.

Great sushi place like to come here and try new rolls I can't get anywhere else and they have some addictive sauces this time I tried the potato roll and it was a massive roll toped with like fry crisps I also tried the mushroom veggie roll and it wasn't for me but it's great they have an option for veggie peeps it's a quite place and is not that busy during lunch most days so you can pop in and grab a quick bite and be back before lunch is over The cherry blossom is great if you like raw sushi and many others , I suggest getting the real wasabi as a added on to your meal

I come here often by myself but brought my young kids for lunch this last visit. Super kid friendly, doesn't break the bank, and they loved it.

Excellent sashimi, a big difference from some places is that is chilled rather than cool room temperature. Soy sauce was even chilled. Rolls were beautiful as they create them in from of you if you're sitting at sushi bar. Hadn't been here in a while but I see why they've been in same location for so long. Only 4 stars for atmosphere because they lack booths which is nice if you want a private conversation. Otherwise I highly recommend.

It looked packed but they were able to seat me and my husband as soon as we were greeted. The service was wonderful and quick. Servers were attentive and accommodating. And of course the food is 10/10. Fresh fish, large portions. Worth every penny + can't wait to visit again.

I love that it's very tasty, the meat is tender, the Tempura is crunchy, and the salad is fresh as well as the miso soup is very good. My brother ordered a Sashimi lunch special that comes with miso soup and white rice. We both shared the Jalapeños Bomb appetizer which tasted yummy. It has cream cheese and tuna fish inside. I think it tasted really like having deep-fried sushi. Yep, it's BOMB! Brother said, by far the best sushi he had and it's fresh. We think the price is very fair👌 & worth every bite. I recommend this place if you're craving sushi. We will definitely come back again. 😊

The sushi chefs are talented and witty behind the bar, so it’s hard to say what’s sharper; their knives or comebacks! lol 😂 The wait-staff here is the friendliest and most efficient you’ll find anywhere!! And the food??!! YUM!!!😋

Did not like sushi prior to that & the rest is history! With that being said, definitely a good go to for sushi. My ONLY complaint is this... Sometimes it can be a miss & today it definitely was not that. The chefs behind the counter today did a great job & my roll was excellent!

This was our first visit, our waitress was very good! Orders and drinks came very quickly. The Food was delicious, starting with the sushi. It was masterfully prepared, it was the freshest sushi I have had in Fresno/ Clovis so far! We had the Scooby-Doo roll and a Dragon Roll. You absolutely have to try them. I had the beef teriyaki and tempura bento box, it came with Rice which had the perfect stickiness to pair with the beef and get that perfect beef / rice bite. The tempura was perfectly prepared as well, the batter was light and airy, with no excess grease and it retained rigidly to make for a crunchy bite every time you ate it. The miso soup was the best I have had in a long time. It gives you a warm good feeling that miso soup should. I skipped the Korean spicy wings. But my wife and son said that they were addictingly good but spicy. I highly recommend this establishment. Gets a 5 star from me.

Nice place to get sushi or sashimi, comes with miso soup and a bowl of rice for the sashimi set. I would totally get the salmon lover again though.

Went to a birthday party here had the OMG roll and wow it was delicious. Also had some of my daughters mango roll and it was also very good. And on Saturday you can get a picture of Sapporo for only five bucks

The sushi rice i had was pretty chewie, like day old rice that was left out. The rice texture made it really difficult to enjoy the other ingredients. However they have a really nice sound play list, such as Laufey and Living Tombstone. I was disappointed in the rice, but my spirits were quickly lifted by The FIVE Nights at Freddy's song by Living Tombstone

My food was fantastic, my wife thought her food was just good. The service staff were polite, just a little slow. However, they were busy and I'm taking that into account. What was unforgivable was the cleanliness of our dishes. The tops were fine, however the bottoms of our sushi plates and soy sauce cups had grime that you could scratch away at. I didn't check the bottoms of the sushi serving plates. The top of our table was also really sticky. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness is just unforgivable. I absolutely loved the food, but you really should have clean dishes. Interesting how the tops were mostly cleaned, but the bottoms were disgusting. I'd recommend getting takeout. Hopefully the rest of the kitchen and cooking tools are cleaned much more thoroughly.

Food was okay, but I ordered online - when I got in, they said I should have received a cancellation email, which I didn't. How do you keep an ordering system on your official website up if it hasn't been working in months? I don't blame the workers at all, they made a new order for me. I got a call/email the other day confirming an order I "placed" online, and my credit card just got charged. Why am I having to go through so many hoops when trying out the place the first time?

I became sick til now after ordering the salmon lover, and rainbow sushi. I believe 8/21/25. I am still sick in bed now with all symptoms of food poisoning. I door dashed my orders and they were packed well so I Mimi the issue is the food quality.

Sashimi Salad is actually a sad Poke Bowl with daikon, which is surprising for a place that has sashimi. Waited a little too long. Decor and Waitress was nice.

Unprofessional and unpredictable wait time , they aren’t competent enough to meet with customers need. We’ve waited too long for sushi like they went and got it from the ocean to prepare it . Customer service isn’t well trained , they’re not able to accommodate with customers demand . I wouldn’t recommend this place at all . I will not ever spend my money here again

Got charged for an order which we could not eat because the chef added an ingredient that was not listed on the menu (his mistake;not ours). Cold food and rude cashier who yells at customers.

I’ve been coming here for 12 years. I know the service has been in decline the past several years, but it’s still my favorite sushi place to go to in Fresno. However, tonight was the breaking point. To the owner, you know this situation has been gradually getting worse, but you haven’t done anything about it. You’re losing your loyal customers like myself and tonight is the reason why I’m not coming back until there is change, as other loyal patrons have already shared the same frustrations. I came in at approximately 5:02 pm. You opened at 5. The first server took our drink order but never came back. Our new server came 15 minutes later and retook our order at 5:18. We dined in for two orders and had 3 to go orders. We received and ate our food by 6 pm but our to go order was not done. After being mug passed by multiple servers multiple times, we had to stop another tables server and ask for our check and a to go box. No check backs the entire time. No drink refills. No apologies on the wait or any notice how far behind our food was. We waited until 6:50 to get our to go order. Not sure if the attached pictures shows the metadata, but the time stamp should be with them just to show I am not exaggerating. To the owner, check your security cameras inside. You cannot hold customers hostage like this. You need to tell everyone that walks in through your door how far behind you are and that service is going to be minimal. If the to go food was not for others we had waiting for us, we would have just walked out. Your “help wanted” sign for the past few years is an understatement. New sushi restaurants have opened in town and new employees are hired with both new and established restaurants. Why is Sushi Day the exception? Please do better to take care of your customers as well as your staff. Your cooks and servers work hard and always hustle, but it seems like they’re always behind and never fully supported with appropriate staff levels given how busy the restaurant is.

I understand that the place gets busy… but when the food arrives at least make sure it’s hot and the right order! The tempura came and we rushed to take a bite. It was COLD! We asked for it to be hot -and they refried it. YOU COULD SEE OUR BITE IN THE REFRIED FOOD. I don’t know what else they cooked in their fryers but if you ate there that night you probably ate some of my fried saliva. At least the heat kills off the bacteria…making it sanitary? To add - both sushi orders were WRONG!!! Someone other than our server came to us and didn’t even know what we ordered. She asked if the rolls looked like the ones we ordered. She tried to GASLIGHT us into saying it was the right roll - until our actual server brought us the correct one!!! We were told that we had to PAY for the WRONG food that came out?! We didn’t order that. And in our dispute we were YELLED at by the another waitress other than our actual one! Our main server came to us and apologized- offering to pay for our food herself. We felt bad for her as the owner probably told her to pay for it. As some of us know what happens in the industry. To not take it out of her pay, especially in this economy, we declined. We paid for the food, and left a cash tip to only our main server. Let me be clear - this is not a result of bad service. This is a result of bad management! To refry the same food that was put out on a table. To charge for an incorrect order? And to be gaslit into thinking it’s the right order when the menu was in front of us. To wait for over 1 hour for a poorly managed kitchen. I hope others have a more pleasant experience but be warned you might have to take a gamble. As for me, I’m done losing here
