So, Robertito's restaurant(s) and I have a long history, but this particular location has been for me filled with a lot of rich tower lore about this specific shop and it's tricky location and elusive nature to actually find, but yet it's delicious rewards when found were epic! It all started for me after the bars closed in the Tower District in the 1980's. After a weekend night of chatter and making merriment in and around the town crowds, about midnight or 1 a.m., a few of us would look at each other, all thinking and then simultaneously out loud saying "secret taco shop?" Usually a rousing yes. Problem was, nobody ever had a clean route, maybe proven directions? No, so it was anyone's guess how to actually get there...intoxicated slightly perhaps, but if and when we were successful in our craving quest, to accidentally stumble upon it, well, then that would be a great time to feed and a good way to sober up before driving home and going to bed. Today, while driving downtown, I was lost and the gps was wonky and estimating my current location, I was waiting for a long red light, and...there it was, right there, 100 feet in front of me, shining and beckoning me. I suddenly had my "Brigadoon" moment, as i haven't patronized that specific Robertito's in probably 3+ decades. I pulled in a little shocked and amazed and then giggled "I'm really gonna do this"! Thanks for the memories of awesome food for a better drive home. To my surprise, the once awesome Chile Colorado Burrito Belly Bomber was unavailable bc "they haven't made it for awhile". I got the Chili Verde Burrito and yes it brought back an equal taste palate of delicious memories... but I guess some things on the menu weren't meant to stay around a loooong time anymore... kinda like Brigadoon :)

This place has great breakfast burritos and the location is not the most appealing but the food is definitely worth it. There’s not a drive-through, but getting out of your car ordering anything from here is an absolute must

So friendly, I had the #2 breakfast burrito and I was thrilled at how tasty the shredded beef was. Had extra veggies and lots of cheese. My only regret was not seeing the daily specials poster first, hmmm all so tempting. As I looked online at their menu. Still I appreciate the great staff and tasty food.

WOW! I think this location must have been the first way back when. Right in the heart of downtown. They share the lot with an old fashioned car wash that is now shut down. How nostalgic, I bet back in the day this place was really rockin.

This visit was my first time here and the overall experience was pleasant. We came right after morning service and ordered a couple breakfast burritos. For the price the burritos were a decent size and didn't taste half bad. Rating 4 stars but would give 3.5 if I had the option.

My favorite chicken tacos. The chicken is moist with a cosmic light sauce , a crunchy tortilla shell , shredded Cheddar cheese, and a refreshing dose of shredded lettuce. Ask for the crunchy tortilla shell if ordering chicken tacos.

The food is yummy. The area it’s in is sketchy though.

Prices are rather high but the food is good. The employees are decent. The area sucks that they are located in but if they weren't there would of had McDonald's no thank you.

I really love going over there to get the RTS fries they’re really good they always put enough meat, sour cream, guacamole, all the condiments the only problem that I seem to have is every time I ask for sauce the younger people always give me the extra sauce but the older people never do in the there still charging me for it lol am I the only one having this problem?

Called ahead so the order would be ready when I arrived. Issue One: they were blasting the music and it was hard to talk with the employee. The logical thing for the employee to do is turn down the music so the customer isn’t having to shout over the phone. Issue Two: they didn’t even bother making the food until I arrived. Why have a phone available to call ahead when you’re not even going to bother making the food? Issue 3: started eating the burrito five minutes after they gave it to me, and it was already getting cold… I’ve gotten the same burrito for other Robertito’s which stay piping hot for 15 minutes.
