Got my order to go. I had pork chops with green beans and broccoli. Pork chops were grilled, not thin and cooked but still moist not dry. Green beans might have been my favorite. Not sure why but they were delicious. Overall I would eat here again.

The food was excellent & served quickly. However, we could not get cream for the coffee from our server after 3 requests. We flagged down another server who brought it right away.

Ordered the holiday meal for Christmas. Overall, good and will probably do it next year. It was delivered on time and in sealed packaging. But, I guess there had to be a but, had the apple and pumpkin pies with the meal. Both pies were sub-standard and in fact the pumpkin was a throw away. Management should address this issue if they want to hit a home run

Solid steaks for sure! The Virginia City fillet mignon was extremely tender and cooked to a perfect medium/medium rare. It was wrapped with a bacon strip around it which gave it a unique flavor. Being on the Keto diet, I hadn’t had a baked potato for over 2 years and not because I couldn’t, of course you have to have a cheat day here and there, but because I hadn’t ran across a baked potato like this one at any other restaurant I’ve eaten at. This baked potato is worth the carb load! I loved the side of string beans which had a really smoky flavor. I also got a side of steak mushrooms which had a satisfying garlicky umami flavor. Overall a very tasty meal for sure!!

We celebrate birthdays at Tahoe Joe's every year & this week's dinner wasn't up to their normal standards. Our shrimp appetizer, my porkchops, our baked potatoes & green beans were great. Unfortunately, the steak, which was supposed to be pink inside, was not only well done, but it tasted & looked to have been microwaved!!! My guest didn't want to return the steak, nor would she ever complain to the staff. Fortunately, her birthday cheesecake was delicious, so the night ended on a high note. And our server, Trish, was friendly & attentive.

Been here a few times and usually never busy and seated right away. Last visit we came for dinner and ordered a meal for two and had great steak and baked potatoes. Everything had nice hearty familiar flavors. There is an added charge for asparagus. Overall a good meal.

Good food, $2 mimosas, kids menu has typical kid food in addition to a steak plate! I had fish and chips, my kids had steak and salmon. Good beer selection on draft. Good happy hour prices. They also have a brunch menu on Saturday and sundays from 10-3. Inside the atmosphere is pretty cool. We came here on Saturday and the place was not busy at all. The good was good with large portions. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Tahoe Joe's has just in general gone down quit a bit. Quality is sub par, service seems like they don't enjoy being there and atmosphere is just old. We had the happy hour sliders and railroad shrimp. I only ate my sliders and even though they weren't mildly warm I was fine but my boyfriend had the shrimp and unfortunately got food poisoning. He was miserable for the next day with bad diarrhea. We love their shrimp but might be the last time we go for quite some time.

The asparagus appetizer was ok, but the Mexican salsa and chips didn't complement it. The clam chowder had shell bits in it that gave a terrible crunchy feeling when you bit into it. The prime rib had too much lard. The steak was drenched with smoke flavoring, and the vegetables were soggy. The ribs and the salmon were very good. Hadn't gone in a while, now I remember why. Last time.

This is the last Tahoe Joe's in Fresno. They have great steaks and the salads are fresh. The sourdough bread is warm and great flavor. The crab cakes don't have much flavor but packed with crab.

Nothing super spectacular here. The food was well cooked, the cabin fries were above average and the ribs were wonderfully tender and fall off the bone. The seasonal rotating beer list doesn't actually exist. The country apple pie was similar to what you'd find at Wal-Mart with a little better crust. I did enjoy the sourdough rolls, they just didn't arrive very quickly and were not refilled. The bar was full when I arrived and happy hour is not available in the dining room. This seems to be a popular local spot that I'm glad I tried,it just didn't exceed expectations.

Usually our experience as been great, this time our server must of been new. Our service was extremely slow with not many people in the restaurant. When she finally brought our order mine was the wrong sandwich. Everyone else was half way through their meal and I got my sandwich, first bite I could tell there was mayonnaise on it, I asked for no mayonnaise and then it took another 20 minutes to get what I ordered.

We usually have great things to say about dining here, but this past Friday the service was really disappointing. I still left a good tip because that’s who I am, though honestly I should have spoken to a manager. We had to ask more than once for basic things like straws and napkins, which felt uncomfortable and shouldn’t have been necessary. I understand we were a larger group, but after spending over $300, we expected more attentive service. We couldn’t even get drink refills. Sadly, this experience makes me think twice about coming back with a bigger party. Also Jon needs to do better. Oh and my food was cold, which I didn't mind but bad service and cold food together is wild.

We planned to have dinner at Tajoe Joe's in Fresno. We were seated after 30+ minutes or so but when my husband,son and I were seated we waited,waited some more until finally received our drinks...we asked for rolls...the waiter refused and said that we can get those when the bread comes. We hadn't ordered yet when he told us this. Thirty minutes or more passed and we never got our order taken and never received bread. My husband had to tell waiter we were ready to order and we'd like shrimp...still waiting, we got up to leave.my husband paid for drinks and shrimp that we didnt eat. The manager was not willing to hear my husband's concerns on our experience. Worst experience ever!!!! Our reservation was not ready upon arrival. We ordered wine that never came. My pasta came cold and congealed and I could not eat it. My husband ordered a ribeye and received and prime rib. We alerted the waitress and she said “no he didn’t, he ordered prime rib”. He’s never ordered prime rib in his life. Tahoe joes you’ve let me down.

I used to stand behind this place 100% on everything, but after ordering ahead of time for this Christmas eve, I can't in good faith recommend this place around the holidays anymore. A ton of us were waiting for our pickup orders easily over an hour past our pickup time, I saw people give up and leave after an hour, for my mom and I, she gave her name three times, waited over an hour and finally someone said, oh. Were out of the food you ordered, we can give you some of the order, but not all. Then we proceeded to wait longer because they didn't even have ANY of it ready, they forgot her we presume. Finally he comes out with it, tries to make an excuse that someone ordered with the same name as her so they assumed it was duplicate orders and ignored my mom's. Her name is uncommon. How is it possible an uncommon matching first name and last name ordered at the exact same time the day before, same time, same food, and same amount? Bold face lie. And he said he'd refund the part that was left out but it remains to be seen. They completely messed up, not just with us but many people. They gave one guys food to someone else while we were there too. If they can't handle the orders they shouldn't take them. And you'd think, order even further ahead of time to be safe, no, another lady ordered a week in advance and still was waiting for almost an hour. They failed horribly. And they really just did not care.
