Dined in for lunch and it was great!! Bento box and sushi’s were so tasty and fresh. Service was quick and attentive, my waters were always filled up and they prebussed all our dirty plates when possible. I do miss the oranges they used to serve with the bento boxes though. Highly recommend!

The food and service was amazing! I love the yellowtail roll and the guns and roses roll. I ordered the gluten free guns and roses but it still had rice in it. The roll was delicious regardless! The drinks were ok. Additionally, the service was very attentive. I will definitely be back soon!

Today was our first time to Kotta, and we loved it. We were grateful for the dog-friendly patio. The fish was of extremely high quality! (in a town that is not necessarily known for this). And our waitress Lila was delightful—-we will definitely be back!

Excellent, fresh and unique sushi. The sushi and sashimi here was amazing - fresh and very flavorful. Service was also exceptional. No need to go into Dallas if you’re close to this spot - it’s just as good if not better than most sushi places in Dallas.

I have been enjoying Kotta's food for several years now. It has always been very delicious experience. However I can say service was better before. There are so many different amazing sushi rolls at the menu. At the weekends I suggest you to make reservations before going.

I went for my first time tonight after being told time and time again that I “NEED” to try it. The service was fantastic, especially a bartender named Max. The sushi was good and very nicely presented. The rangoons were amazing. I really liked the place but I wish they had more sashimi options rather than just sushi

Was in the mood for sushi and I have been here once before a few years ago. Went early and it was happy hour still so I got a few different rolls at good prices. The ingredients are very fresh and everything comes out quick. The service is wonderful and treats you well (I was the only one in at the time however). This is a fairly typical modern sushi bar. Nothing special moody lighting and a big sushi bar to sit at. It’s a surprise for Frisco, TX.

GLUTEN FREE: gluten free items are available on the menu, but rather than using gluten free substitutes, they just remove the parts that have gluten. This leaves you with a veggie roll with some sushi on top. Our waitress was great, but very disappointed in the gluten free items.

I have loved Kotta in the past but the recent few times we have gotten to-go orders they have been disappointing to say the least. Today we ordered 2 rolls and a squid salad. One of the rolls we received today was not what we ordered. Please don’t even get me started on the squid salad. $9 for 2 bites. I have dined in as well as placed takeout orders for years here and their squid salad portioning has gone way down. Please look at the pictures below and consider sizing your to-go portion the SAME as what it is when you dine in…the host was very kind and made sure we had extra sauces and silverware but i definitely should’ve checked the boxes before leaving!!!

My mom never shares with me what she has ordered from a restaurant. Tonight she did. She was excited to have a nice sushi dinner celebrating a birthday. Sushi is her favorite, not just because of the flavors, but because of the nostalgia. I have never been to your restaurant, but I see from your website you take great pride in your establishment. When groups dine together in a restaurant the expectation is the whole table dines together, not one person having to awkwardly eat their meal fast as the others are finishing. Do better. Check your tickets before you run your food. ESPECIALLY on groups, even if they have separate tabs.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Even with a reservation, I still waited over 30 minutes to be seated. The owner was completely unprofessional, yelling at his hosts in front of customers. Specifically a tall guy with a buzz cut was also very rude the entire time acting like he didn’t want to be at work. Overall, the atmosphere and service were very poor.
