UPDATE Jun 2024: Return visit after going to Plano location. Very busy weekday lunch period with a number of people from nearby offices which contributed to delay in kitchen. When we came here first time on weekend not so busy. But today not so good. Late orders for many customers as we watched dining room. One customer at a group of 10 didn't get served at all. So fix the kitchen to get food out during a rush APRIL 2024: Great 1st visit. SHE who cashes my retirement check had been before and suggested a Sun lunch here. Good choice. We both got the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo. More than enough food for us. I like the bread used as it was a roll and soft. Not hard to bit off. Generous sized beverage cups and unlimited refills although you won't need to refill often. Posted lots of interior photos.

My first visit here and it definitely won’t be my last. The service was spectacular. Food was amazing. Love the atmosphere. Dining room is very inviting. I ordered the Newk’s “Q” sandwich. Oh my goodness, it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. That in house white bbq sauce is delicious. I’ll definitely be trying it on a pizza next time.

Newk’s is my go to! Their portions are great and I love their variety in menu options! We also love a good Splenda sweet tea! I loved their hot chicken menu including their Sammie with broccoli cheese or their pizza. They have great dessert including a banana nut cake! Absolutely love going to lunch here. Staff is friendly and the place is always clean. Food is made to order and veggies are fresh. They have very flavorful and well made sandwiches. Bread is always fresh baked, sides like pasta salad ect...are a delight.

I came here for lunch yesterday & I ordered the basic pepperoni pizza & it was delicious! The pepperoni & cheese complimented the sauce perfectly. It wasn't acidic like many other pizza places, which was a huge plus for me since I get terrible heartburn from it. The ambiance was calm & I was able to enjoy my meal in peace. I will be back again! 🍕

Very pleasantly surprised with this place. I found it by looking on google maps for a place that served pizza and salads. Overall, the restaurant is in a great location and is very clean and well designed on the inside. Plenty of seating for both individuals for a quick lunch and families who want a table. The menu has plenty of variety although I wish they offered menu cards as the kids menu was nowhere to be found on the wall-mounted menu boards and I could see the singlular posting of the menu as being a problem when this place gets busy. I loved the little condiments table. Quite a variety there too of hot sauces, normal condiments, and more peculiar things like roasted garlic and capers. Drink options were a bit scarce in regards to soda, but the tea options were great - raspberry, unsweet, sugared, and splenda-sweetened. The food was prepared fresh and fast. We ordered the chicken salad salad bowl, meat pizza, kids pizza, and kids macaroni. Pizza wasn't the best I've had - needed more spice in the sauce and they need to rethink their dough recipe to make it either crispy for flat pizza or more doughy and soft for pan pizza. The crust was awkwardly in the middle of those two options and so excelled at neither and also was not super tasty. My pizza did have fresh tomatoes which were very enjoyable. The kid's macaroni looked delicious and the chicken salad bowl was massive! The sturdy take-home drink cups were also a bonus. They had a nice little patio, too, which I could see myself enjoying if it wasn't a heat index of 110 at the time I went. A very pleasant experience overall. I will be going back. This was my first time to this location. I was pleasantly surprised...good surprise when I found out that all kid's meals are.99 on Saturday and Sunday. Great atmosphere. Cashier was very pleasant and took an interest in my son which was sweet as a mom. Most do not have to do that. Great service and food delivered to the table in under 7 minutes. Food was excellent. My only recommendations would be to incorporate a cleaning schedule of the lobby area. The round booth we sat in was dirty with food and crumbs in the wedge of the seat. My little one kept trying to put his fingers in between. The only reason I know of this is because I have one 9 years of restaurant experience and this was on my staff's deep cleaning checklist. Overall it was a great experience and my niece loves this place. Will be back. 12/10/17-Since this review, I have been back two more times. One to go order, ordered online and very prompt service. Each time has been a great experience! Love that you offer.99 kids meals in the weekend. The tortilla soup was very delicious!

My office recently moved to the area, and I was always intrigued by the establishment. Maybe it's the name, anyways, I wasn't disappointed. Many choices and at a fair price. I ordered the Turkey avocado sandwich. It was wonderful. The bread was the star of the show. Soft with a tad bit of crunch:) I also ordered the strawberry cake and it was good as well. Newk's definitely gets two thumbs up:)

First time trying this place. I was in town for a business trip. We don't have one in Chicago. Big serving, seems like a really busy place during lunch. Service was fast, they bring the food to your table. They make the salad fresh. I will be back for sure when I'm in town again.

The original restaurants in Louisiana have all sorts of extra condiments available (croutons, baked garlic cloves, grated cheese, pickle slices and more!) on the large round tables, that you can serve for yourself. I miss this in the TX restaurants.

I ordered the so called Philly cheesesteak, and it was TERRIBLE. Looked like a drunk fresh out the club made it! Little to no cheese, peppers (probably 2-3) was on this long piece of meat! Smdh no way im eating this again, theres DOZENS of better places to get a Philly cheese steak sandwiches this AINT ONE.

Ordered (2) Newks Favorite Salads that I knew would be just as fulfilling and pleasing as the ones I get from other locations, but was completely let down. The lettuce was very minimal and tasted old, the pecans were non-existent, and the chicken left more to be desired. I feel like if I am paying hard earned money for a meal that i should get what I pay for. Maybe it was the employee who made them, maybe it was just an off day, but at the end of the day quality and effort has to go into each and every order and actually ask yourself if you wouldn't eat it then why make it for patrons to eat.....
