Came to Texas for business and OMG!!! The absolute best old fashioned drinks I’ve ever had! I’ve been to a lot of places in the country this place took the cake! On top of that the service inside the cigar lounge was amazing!!! The young lady I’m sorry I forgot her name she was 100% on the service!!!! Great experience thank you guys!

Great food, drinks, and vibe. Make a reservation. It's popular for a reason and we'll worth it.

I’m brought my husband here for his birthday because I was looking for a place that does scotch flights. They hit the mark perfectly, and their flights are customizable. To my surprise they also had live music and fire dancing the ambience was absolutely fantastic. It’s a classy joint, kids, but in no way pompous. We had the fried artichoke hearts and charcuterie appetizers. The former was awesome. The latter was good, but not memorable. I had a the TX bourbon flight. He had the ubpeated scotch flight and swapped them third selection outside for mccallan 18 sherry/oak cask. Delighted to try new options, we had the House coffee with cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake was in our top 10%, absolutely fabulous. Our server was Caroline, and she was incredibly informed about the menu, very attentive, and very friendly. I appreciated that the bathrooms were snazzy too. Nice call on the swan's head faucet. Ps your to holder needs to be tightened up in the first loo.

My husband and I stopped by here while visiting the Star on our honeymoon and I gotta admit, we were definitely not expecting this place to be like this! We are definitely not “high class” people so I was very thoroughly surprised with how beautiful this bar was. We googled it prior to coming but I still didn’t expect it to look as fancy as it did in person. We walked in and were asked if we had reservations - we did not. But the hostess was very kind and told us that was okay and led us inside. It felt like we were walking into a private VIP lounge omg. The vibes were very classy and cozy at the same time. My husband had a couple old fashions and I had a couple espresso martinis. Amazing martini!!!! I had just gotten into espresso martinis literally the night before, but this one was already so much better than the ones I had tried before. Definitely would love to go back next time we visit - but definitely bring some money, it is for sure on the pricier side!

1st time there for our Anniversary. We had an amazing time. The food was really good . We loved the mussels & Hamachi crudo! Best espresso tinis too!

Ask for Kyler she was amazing (boss she deserves a raise!). She was so kind and helped with some great recommendations. Food was ok, we got the wagyu beef, Calamari, and Mac and Cheese. There was also really fun ariel arts by a very talented young lady and live music! Great job management and staff overall!

My date flew in for business and he’s a huge whiskey and cigar guy. I drove 3 hours from Houston and didn’t want to go anywhere else but here. Above all. This place is IT! Very low profile, great vibes, live bands, delicious food and wonderful cocktails!! Everything about this place is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering. Don’t walk — run! Can’t to wait to visit again!

went out with the husband for my one my bucket list of "things to try". I'm not a smoker, but always wanted to try a cigar and this establishment did not disappoint. I'm a whiskey woman as well so our amazing server "Grace" was gracious and knowledgeable about every question my husband and I had, and paired my flavored cigar with my favorite smoked old fashioned. Loved the decor, live music and the bar...definitely a speakeasy feel with class. Thank you Grace, for such an awesome experience!

Went to the cigar lounge for almost a year and a half regularly had quite a few interesting conversations, food is nice, cigar selection good enough, chairs comfortable. All the servers have been good enough for the most part, I don't ask for much ever, a tea and occasionally a cigar maybe, some food here and there. Careful with letting people know about yourself and what you do, you might get some nosy investigative person trying to pay a server 1 grand to get information on you because of how enamered they are with someone minding their own business. Hilarious. Anyways its time to go. Thanks Derek and all servers, managers, and good people. Peace.

The bartender Xavier was amazing. He is a guy who clearly loves what he does and enjoys it. We arrived just as they were closing and the team there gave us some wonderful suggestions. Took time to explain why each thing was great and we never felt rushed or like a nuisance. Really just had a great time talking with both of them and thank you so much again for letting us try your experiment drinks. I love that kind of stuff and they were great!

The Monarch is a whole vibe. While visiting Jerry World I wanted a place to sit down for a cigar/whiskey. I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

I love that they feature live music on some weekends, which adds to the atmosphere. The cigar room is a unique touch, offering a different vibe in a separate section. The vibe was great, and the live music was a nice touch as well.

We had reservations and there were other booths and seating available, however we were sat by a mock fireplace in a very uncomfortable seating arrangement and chose not to eat based on the table. Not ideal seating for a couple based on distance nor eating based on seating. Food menu is very limited with mostly finger food I wouldn’t want to eat by hand ( tacos, lobster sandwich ) in my cocktail dress. The bar selection was large and seemed to have a wonderful variety of whiskey and tequila. There are other places to have a cool drink so we may or may not return but worth a drop in.

We sat at the bar top while visiting. The bartender was nice and didn’t mind when I asked question. They had live music along with two dancers. One danced with fire and then they both performed on rings suspended from the ceiling. There’s also a cigar lounge inside which I have not gotten to try yet. They had a few selections of food. I had the truffle fries which I enjoyed.

This is bar has a nice atmosphere. We had some challenges getting our drinks served timely and had to follow up a few times. One of the cocktails was a veeeeeeery stingy pour hidden by the huge ice block inside the glass. For $25 the cocktail needs to deliver. Had to request it be remade with appropriate measures. Probably not a return for me.

This was the most overpriced cigar lounge that I've ever entered. They had regular cigars that you can purchased for $15 -20 , but theirs was a$45,and up per cigar? Who gave them the right to over price ever Cigar in the building ? Unbelievable, the atmosphere was nice, but not to the point that they should be able to charge this amount of money. I'm just surprised that they're able to get away with this .I won't be back. There will be no need to return.

The whiskey options were good, staff was kind, atmosphere was fun. But the food… was a scam at best. Such a shame because everything else was on point. But if you’re selling wagyu steak, especially raw and you cook it at the table, it should at least be prime steak. Not browned on the edges bottom of the barrel choice. Other food we had was bacon wrapped dates that had about 4x more bacon to date ratio than they should, and ahi tuna with poor quality tuna and canned mandarin oranges. For such an elevated atmosphere I expected more. Bill was $200 with drinks. Attached photo was the wagyu steak…

Got here at 8…didn’t get situated with a cigar and drinks until 9. Haven’t seen slower service. Travelled all over nyc and London and the prices here are outrageous. Not in line with other high end spots. The place wasn’t busy as well.

This is actually called The Glen now and the food is absolutely horrible!!!! I ordered the giant scallops and roasted potatoes. The scallops were only seared on each side and was cold in the middle. The potatoes were hard and not cooked throughly and no flavor whatsoever!! Very dissatisfied! My good was sent back to the cook and he sated there was nothing wrong with the food at all! The best thing I tasted was the broccoli! Don't waste your money! Eat before you arrive and order some drinks and enjoy the show!
